It's been about two weeks since I have become a member of squad four of my village of the land of earth and I did learn new jutsu but they are beginner level.

Right now, I am currently waking up in my room as I make my way to the bathroom, and I look myself over as I still feel strange with this default body. I have fair skin with blonde hair on my head combed downwards with brown eyes and I am relatively fit, and I stand at average height for my age…It is strange being in this world where I am considered a adult after becoming a ninja instead of staying in civilian classes and attempting to live a normal life.

The culture of this world is strange and getting used to all of it has been a bit difficult, but I haven't run into any problems so far.

"This is interesting." A voice said from behind me as I quickly turn around and see the familiar robed figure from my past as his face was hidden by shadows as his robe is a silver color and the world around us suddenly breaks apart like glass and I am surrounded by nothing but darkness.

"Why are you here?" I asked him as I kept my cool because I know fighting him would only end with my death.

"Technically we aren't in your world anymore so that question is a strange one to ask but in simple terms I simply wanted to visit my fellow gamer." The man or woman said as their voice was somehow obscured and didn't really have any inflection or anything.

"You got me in trouble with the people who run the game system and now I am in a hardcore ninja world." I told the person bluntly as he/her simply shrugged.

"Most people would love to be in this world and don't worry I won't tempt you with power again since the system operators are keeping such close tabs on you. I just want you to know that I will stick around in this world for a time, and I will also give you a gift of good faith and don't worry about the system operators. This power isn't a hack based one and is instead something you had originally earned in your previous playthrough." The robbed figure said before he/she raised his/her hand towards me and suddenly I felt some strange type of pull coming from deep within me.

Like my heart was exploding out of my chest despite the fact that it was beating normally and when I feel to my knees from the pain the world around me returned to normal and I saw that the person was gone, and new windows had appeared in front of me.

New Jutsu has been unlocked!

"What the hell?" I asked myself as I don't recall any skills from the last life, I had but having two new jutsu abilities isn't something I am going to ignore, and I am guessing that I used earth magic in the past since I have an affinity for it now.

Then suddenly I heard someone knocking on my door, so I quickly get dressed in some black pajama pants and a tank top before I go and open the door to see Mai in her usual outfit with a smile on her face.

"Naotoki you won't believe the good luck our team has." Mai said as I was a bit distracted while looking at her but by some miracle, she didn't notice…Or if she did, I couldn't tell and with my luck today she most like me noticed me looking her over.

"What do you mean?" I asked her bluntly.

"Kunimitsu-sensei said that we are being given our first mission today and that your training is going to be intensified since your late." Mai said before I realized that the robed figure just got me harsher training because he wasted my precious time.

"Alright. Let me get dressed and I'll head towards the training ground." I told her before I headed back into my room and got dressed in my green ninja outfit and attached my kunai holster to my thigh before I left my home and followed Mai to the training ground.

"Sorry I'm late." I said as Kunimitsu-sensei and Honoka where waiting for us by some training dummies or at least Kunimitsu was waiting while Honoka was practicing her strikes against the stationary target.

"Today we are going to be given a mission. I'd advise you to take it seriously." Kunimitsu said as she didn't sound too pleased about my tardiness and honestly, I can't blame her but either way our team made its way to the Tsuchikage office where we saw our village leader known as Genryusai Shigekuni Yamamoto aka the buffest old man you will ever see in your life.

He is known as one of the strongest ninjas on the planet and tales say that he even fought against a tailed beast in the past with his powerful jutsu and his mastery over flame jutsu.

He is bald but has a magnificent beard and is wearing black robes with white accents and has a wooden cane next to him as he sat behind a large desk and was flanked by his right-hand man Chojiro Sasakibe who was dressed in a similar manner.

"Kunimitsu you have taken on these youngsters for only a short amount of time but already requested to preform missions." Genryusai said in a mildly confused tone of voice.

"Yes sir. I believe that these Genin would benefit from preforming actual mission in addition to their normal training routines." Kunimitsu said calmly.

"You've hardly been a team long enough to form an appropriate routine but if you want missions than I will give you missions." Genryusai said bluntly before he gave us a mission.

After leaving the building we made our way to one of the residential districts of the village as our mission is a D-rank one and it basically has us helping some old farmers get rid of bothersome crop hunting animals.

We didn't kill any of the animals because there was truly no need to do so, and we got the mission done in a short amount of time and got paid respectively before we made our way back to the training yard to get some more training done but we actually came across another team using the training field as this was team ten.

I don't recognize the team leader, but I do recognize the three shinobi as they are Forest Law, Nozomi Kujo and Momo Hinamori.

Now Forest is a monster with Taijutsu and is dressed in a basic black ninja uniform like me while Nozomi's uniform is a dark shade of green and Momo is wearing black robes with a katana sheathed to her waist.

"I didn't know you intended to use this training ground Aizen." Kunimitsu said as this browned haired man with glasses didn't seem like much as he is wearing a white bodysuit stopping at his ankles, wrists and neck as he sports purple ninja sandals and a katana at his waist as well.

"Sorry but it was a bit last minute. We could leave if you'd prefer." Aizen said as something about this man was just unsettling to me.

"No that is quite alright. Would you mind if we joined you for training?" Kunimitsu asked as Aizen gave a simple smile.

"It would be no problem at all." Aizen said and soon enough our teams joined each other for training and to start things off we are working on our chakra control as all of us have to climb up one of the large tree's by only using our feet and honestly this exercise is pretty difficult to perform.

Now Momo, Nozomi and Mai were the first ones to complete the exercise which shows that they are already skilled in Chakra control while the rest of us our struggling but thanks to my abilities it didn't take me long to figure it out and soon enough, I increase my chakra control skill level and reach the top of the tree.

Honoka was the last one to complete the exercise which had her feeling down, but she quickly perked up when we moved onto sparring and she went first against Forest and the fight was insane.

Now Forest isn't from a clan and his skills come from his training and hard work, but Honoka is from a clan and her clan is actually a bit confusing which is why we are all a bit confused about what is going on in the fight with the exception of Aizen and Kunimitsu.

Now Honoka's clan is made up of civilians entirely but her father was a ninja of legend and terror who threatened many life's before he was killed and his power is shrouded in mystery but apparently he was able to mimic any fighting style he saw without needed some special eye power or anything like the ninjas in the hidden leaf and Honoka is showing what she is capable of as she is matching Forest blow for blow.

"Kunimitsu-sensei. When we first passed your test, you said that Honoka was taught clan jutsu but her clan is made up of Civilians. So, how does she have any clan jutsu's?" I asked her bluntly as she looked at me…At least I think she did since it is hard to tell with her mask on.

"That information is up for Honoka to explain. So, just leave the matter alone for now." Kunimitsu explained before another thought came to my mind.

I never got a completed quest alert or anything for passing Kunimitsu's judgement test or whatever. So, does that mean that the quest is still going?

"Ha!" Honoka said as she sent out a powerful right fist that Forest dodged before he countered with a swift kick to the side of Honoka's head which knocked her down onto the ground with a groan.

"I think the spar can be stopped now." Aizen said loud enough for the two of them to hear as Forest brought his hands together and gave Honoka a respectful bow which Honoka returned after she got up and next was Momo against Mai and the two of them fought with jutsu abilities.

Now Mai specializes in fire type jutsu but Momo apparently has been taught a few jutsu's to counter Mai as Momo fought with water and mud bullets and attacks.

The dangerous thing about Momo was her ability to think fast with her jutsu as well as she quickly circles Mai and kept attacking with water bullets which Mai did counter, but the problem was that quite a bit of water was left on the ground and Momo quickly preformed several hand signs which evading Mai's attempts to interrupt her hand signs.

"A Genin of her level shouldn't be able to preform a high ranking jutsu like that." Kunimitsu said in shock as I looked on and saw what Momo had done.

"Water Style: Water Viper." Momo said as the water around Mai had pooled together quickly and formed a large cobra made of water in front of Mai which towered above her as Mai leapt back to avoid the serpent as it dived towards her but Mai was a step to late as the serpent quickly glided on the ground and hit her head on which caused the viper to burst into water that sprayed everyone and got on all of us as Mai was laid out on the ground groaning in pain.

"Mai! Are you alright!" I shouted as Mai was in a small but noticeable crater in the ground. Momo however quickly went to Momo's side and with her hands glowing green she applied some medical jutsu to help Mai as Aizen and Kunimitsu also went towards the beaten Mai.

"Momo come with me. I'll take Mai to the hospital so she can get looked at properly." Aizen said as Momo looked down at the ground with clear guilt on her face as Aizen looked at her as he picked up Mai and slung her over his shoulder. "And Momo and I will have a few words about this sparring match. Forest and Nozomi you both will come as well." Aizen said before he jumped and vanished from sight as Forest and Nozomi did the same.

"Kunimitsu-sensei we have to go with them." Honoka said with concern over her friend.

"Mai wasn't injured too badly and thanks to Momo she will most likely just need to rest and take it easy for a few days. What we have to do is prepare you both for situations like these when a teammate has been harmed or killed in battle." Kunimitsu explained as we continued with training for the day.

Now after a few days had gone by Mai had rejoined us for our training sessions as we are currently practicing our Taijutsu with training dummies when something strange happened.

"Kunimitsu we need to speak." A ninja said as she appeared out of nowhere and was behind Kunimitsu-sensei. She was quite the looker, and we were ready to attack before Kunimitsu raised her hand and stopped us.

"Honoka, Mai and Naotoki this is Sui-Feng a member of Iawgakure's assassination and information gathering squad known as Hell Butterfly." Kunimitsu said before she turned around and looked at Sui-Feng. "So, what do I owe the pleasure?" Kunimitsu asked.

"Genryusai has given me a mission to eliminate the leader of a bandit group and asked me to take a shinobi squad with me." Sui-Feng said bluntly.

"Why not take your fellow black ops?" Kunimitsu asked.

"Genryusai said that this will give a team of shinobi valuable life experience and he said to ask you so he can see if your squad is truly ready for ninja missions." Sui-Feng explained as Kunimitsu looked us over for a moment.

"This isn't some fairytale mission. On this mission you will follow orders to the letter, and you will not deviate from the plan under any circumstances. If you do or if we fail, I will send each of you back to the academy and recommend that you be removed from ninja courses entirely. This is your real test. Understand?" Kunimitsu asked.

"Yes!" We each said loudly as she looked back at Sui-Feng.

"We will assist you in this mission Sui-Feng." Kunimitsu said before Sui-Feng explained the mission details. Apparently, a former ninja has turned his back on the village and started a gang to robe, pillage, rape and so on. We need to get rid of his crew entirely and any loot we find will go directly to the village and be distributed back to its proper owners.

Soon enough though we made it outside of the village and that is when Sui-Feng spoke up once more.

"Try to keep up. If you fall behind, you will be left behind and your part of the mission will be considered a failure." Sui-Feng said before she leaped forwards at fast speeds as we did the same as we where basically enhancing our legs with the proper amount of Chakra to enhance our speed to a manageable degree that didn't inflict to much backlash.

I ignored the skill window that appeared in front of me as we quickly made our way towards our destination and soon enough we entered a forest and stopped on tree branches and we remained quite and stealthy as we saw a handful of armed thugs around a few tents and what not as they surrounded there patch of land with severed heads on pikes like rabid animals.

Sui-Feng and Kunimitsu where the first to go as we where told to remain hidden while dispatching enemies and they easily killed two poor sods as they patrolled the area and they even hid the bodies perfectly.

Than it was our turn as Honoka, Mai and I separated as I saw my mark in the form of a guy taking a piss in the bushes and I quickly drew a kunai as I leaped down from my elevated hiding spot and landed behind the guy as my feet were silent thanks to the idea I had about cushioning my fall with chakra in my feet so they act like magnets to the ground and in one quick moment I grab the guys head and slit his throat as I felt and saw blood gush out as I made sure to cut him deep as I than proceeded to hide the body.

A normal person might feel remorse or sadness for these people but in all honesty, I am doing the world a favor by getting rid of them and I don't feel a single once of regret, but I know that Mai and Honoka might not be up to this mission given their personalities and what not.

"Where under attack!" Someone shouted as that let me know that someone just fucked up the mission.

"Shit." I cursed as I leaped back into the trees to get a view of the bandit camp and I saw that people had their weapons ready and were running around in a panic. "What happened?" I asked as I couldn't see what had happened to alert the bandits to us being here.

Then suddenly I see a few bandits get engulfed in flames and they start charging towards the south to get the person who is attacking them as the person attacking was none other than Kunimitsu.

"Well, I guess subtly is out." I said before I dropped down into the camp and I landed behind a guy and I grabbed his exposed arm with his sword in his hand and cast my fiend illusion Genjutsu and he immediately started freaking out and swinging wildly which did alert the others to my location but after giving the guy space he attacked his own comrades when they tried to rush me and since he was trapped in the illusion and obviously didn't know how to escape I simply watched as he attacked his friends before they had to kill him.

Before they attacked me however, they were burned by fireballs.

"Are you alright Naotoki?" Mai asked as she landed next to me.

"I'm good. Where is everyone else?" I asked her.

"Sui-Feng, Kunimitsu-sensei and Honoka are handling the leader. We should go help them." Mai said as we made our way through the camp before coming up to the scene as the leader was already dead and the three women were totally fine.

He hardly even looked hurt as he was in protective ninja gear with our village headband on his forehead with a mark through our village icon and there was a needle mark on his neck which I can assume is from Sui-Feng's strange needle weapon she had over her left hand and forearm.

"Mission complete." Sui-Feng said as she picked up the bandit leaders' body as we made our way back to the village as Sui-Feng split from us and took the body morgue so he can be properly…Disposed of.

Anyway, we all stood in the center of a busy street as the three of us waited for Kunimitsu to send us back to the academy and after a long pause she finally spoke up.

"Congratulations. You all have truly passed my judgement." Kunimitsu said as I felt like my heart was about to burst.

"But…We failed to follow the mission rules and the bandits found out about us." Honoka said as she looked down sadly.

"That is because Sui-Feng and I made ourselves known on purpose." Kunimitsu said which shocked each of us. "Now on a mission some things will go wrong, and you will be forced to improvise which is something the three of you did excellently and now I can firmly call the three of your shinobi." Kunimitsu said with what sounded like pride but in all honesty, I can't help but feel physically and mentally exhausted from all of this.

Seriously being a ninja is stressful as hell.

Each skill is useful and thankfully I know this power responds to my thoughts, so my teammates don't have to look at me like I'm crazy as I try to touch the air. So, I use my mind and I select the perk that I want.

This will be some serious help for my advancement in this word because it will save me precious time to master jutsu of all kinds.

"So, what happens now?" Mai asked.

"What happens is we keep training and getting you three prepared for the Chunin Exams." Kunimitsu said as we got a fair bit of time before the Chunin Exams but that doesn't mean that time is on our side.

"The Chunin Exams." Honoka said as she sounded unsure of herself. "The ultimate test of a ninja."

Kunimitsu started chuckling at what Honoka said.

"Honoka I can assure you that the Chunin Exams are far from being the ultimate test of a Ninja but that doesn't mean that they aren't important. So, you'd all better take this training seriously because from now on things are going to get rough." Kunimitsu said as I was the first one to speak up.

"I don't care how tough things get. I'm going to pass the Chunin Exams and when I become a ninja I am going to keep working harder and harder until I become the strongest ninja around." I said firmly as becoming the strongest ninja will be the goal, I set for myself since becoming the strongest ninja will be a important stepping stone in getting the strength I need to possibly take down the rouge hacker that put me in this mess in the first place.

"If you put in the work, I'm sure you'll become quite the legend Naotoki-kun." Kunimitsu said embarresingly as the girls couldn't help but snicker.

I'm honestly not sure if I like this nicer version of my sensei.

"Well, when I pass the exams I am going to make my way to becoming the new Tsuchikage." Mai said with her own form of confidence.

"Yes, yes you all have wonderful dreams of becoming great ninjas but remember that this is a job of life and death and that it isn't a fairytale. You need to take this extremely seriously. Understand?" Kunimitsu asked each of us.

"Yes!" We all said loudly and soon enough Kunimitsu takes us all out to eat to celebrate a successful mission after we got debriefed at Genryusai's office and got paid accordingly.
