Cuba 2016 2:15pm*

Lara had come across a burial site where they had buried several of them; missing children, discarded them as though they were nothing, jaguars frequented the area and snarled at any trespassers of the once desecrated and now scared grounds. Ix Chel had appeared to her when she raised her bow to one of the jaguars scared that one may attack her, the jaguar turned their attention away from her and to a group of men who scurried through the trees pushing the jungle vines and leaves away from them as they carried several sickly children in their arms to a makeshift altar. Lara pointed her bow to them but Ix Chel raised a finger to her lips, snarling as she tailed them like a lioness on a hunt her back arched. Ix Chel's huntresses sashayed through the trees behind her, stepping over vines as their claws tore through the leaves in front of them. They pounced upon the men before them, snarling as they ripped out their throats and tore their aortas snarling before scooping up the children with their humanesque hands before fleeing back into the forest. Lara followed them deep into the rainforest into a cave along a cliffs edge which led to an underground city.

Xzavier's School for Gifted Youngster*

"Lara Croft is on the phone in the comms room if you'd like to join us." Wolverine calls through the hall as Quick Silver zips up his super suit.

"I'll be there in just a minute!" Quick Silver zooms through the door "Actually make that 30 seconds."

Lara toons in from a cave, vines hang above her in her hologram, Ix Chel sits behind her on a wooden throne with pelts on top of it.

"Good evening Lara" professor Xavier waves to her from his wheelchair.

"Evening professor X"

"You're in Cuba, yes?"

"Yes, Ix Chel and I have come across a ring of sorts."

"Trinity" Ix Chel hisses under her breathe.

"We have heard of them" Cyclops crosses his arms behind professor X "What are they up to this time?"

"They're trafficking children, mutant children specifically."

"We'll be on our way" Professor X hangs up, "X-men you know the drill, it's time to save these children and bring them home to their families."

"Sir" Wolverine kneels before him with his elbow over his knee so that they're at eye level "With all due respect, I think we should've waited for Lara to give us more information on this mission."

"I've collected all the intel I needed" professor x says before opening up his laptop in front of him "I'll send it to Mystique after you board the Firefly."

"Yes no distracted flying" Colossus' says carrying a laundry basket into the room while he balancing a tray of ham sandwiches on his head.

"Here let me take that from you." Cyclops steps on his tiptoes, grabbing the tray of sandwiches from on top of Colossus' head before placing them on the table so that everyone can grab one before they head off to Zeta Station and board the Firefly.

Cuba*

"Wow I don't know about you but I'm beat" Cyclops yawns as he stretches while leaving the helicarrier.

"We just landed" Mystique scans her hand along the sensor of the sliding doors of the carrier so that it'll close behind where they boarded. "And have a mile to walk before we meet up with La-"

"Over here!" Lara hops down from one of the trees, her bow in hand "I've gathered the following coordinates" she unrolls a map "To track down Trinity."

"Let me see" Cyclops holds his hand out and Lara hands him the map, Quicksilver peaks over his shoulder eating a banana that he had just plucked from a tree.

"Looks like we need to head east-" Mystique's finger points over the map trailing the coordinates with her fingers.

"Towards the waterfall" Lara adjusts her Fanny pack while Ix Chel waits hiding behind a tree.
