It has been two weeks since the attack on Pegasi. Sector Z had spent that time preparing for deep space missions and assisting in fixing up Pegasi. Using a deep space radio, which David and Constance had built with the assistance of Numbuh Sage, a new Galactic Outpost had been discovered on the planet of Titan.

"So, what now? You guys think it's a trap?" Lenny asks.

"I don't think so. I honestly think it's gonna be good for us to go there." Nigel says.

"You think so?" Rachel asks.

"I do. We'll need constant supplies, and so will Galactic." Nigel says.

"Nigel's right. Better us have supplies and multiple friendly locations for a base camp than them." David says.

"Anybody have a layout of what this planet looks like? I don't wanna go into a fight blind." Rachel requests.

"We know the layout from this archive map." Numbuh Sage informs them, pulling up a map of the planet.

"Okay so the outpost seems to be coming from this mountain ridge. I suggest that we attack it from above, if they try to run we can pick them off like fish in a barrel." Rachel suggests.

"I agree. David, Constance, do you two have that cloaking device fixed?" Bruce asks.

"I fixed it before we set up the radio." David informs him.

"Good, element of surprise will be good so that they won't see us coming." Nigel says.

"So when are we taking off?" Lenny asks.

"I don't see why not now. It looks like it'll take us at least a day to get there if we don't rush. I say we get some rest on the ship in waves, that way we're all ready for any possible fight." Rachel says.

"Why not just rest now and fight later?" Nigel asks.

"That's not like you to postpone getting into a ship to fly off to a fight, Nigel." Rachel comments.

"I think you can appreciate why I'm wary of going off to strange planets at a moment's notice." Nigel says.

"It's not like that, Nigel. Because this time you're with us, and you know exactly where you're going." Bruce says.

"Yeah, why don't you rest on the ship. I'll be with you shortly." Rachel says.

"Yeah, yeah you're right." Nigel sighs, he then takes another look at Numbuh Vine. "Thank you, Numbuh Vine."

"Godspeed, Nigel." Numbuh Vine says as he boards the ship. She then turns her attention to Rachel.

"Thank you for being there for him, Numbuh 362." She commends.

"I always will. And just to let you know, you'll always be welcome on Earth after this shit is over." Rachel says. Sector Z boards the ship and Pegasi command watches it take off. They wave goodbye to their Earth comrades.

One Day Later

Under the cloaking device, Sector Z arrives at Titan. They fly low to find the mountain range where the base is located.

"So what's the plan? Do you see any signs of any enemies, Numbuh 1?" Ashley asks.

"None so far but… wait. Look at that." Nigel points their attention to a ship taking off and preparing to fire something into the air.

"Oh shit. Shoot it down!" Nigel orders.

"What's wrong?" Rachel asks.

"Trust me, shoot it down." Nigel orders as the ship has guns aimed at their ship and at them sky.

"On it." Bruce says. He fires several missiles before the Galactic ship can get a shot off.

"Let's look at the wreckage." Nigel says.

The ship landed safely near the wreckage and they stepped outside to examine the wreckage.

"Fuck Nigel, there aren't any survivors." Bruce says.

"Hate to say it, but that's probably for the best. That wasn't an escape ship. They must've seen us coming. Which means it's likely that there's nobody else in the base." Nigel explains.

"They were trying to escape? Then why were they shooting into the sky?" Rachel asks.

"That type of ship shoots a deep space flare. It would've brought in back up for them while they escaped." Nigel further explains.

"So what was their plan? Run away and have someone else fight for them?" David asks.

"Well cowards tend to do that, David." Ashley states.

"You're right about that. Now obviously we can't get anything from this ship. Let's head into that base and see what we can find." Rachel says, taking Nigel's hand.

They all make their way into the base, where they can confirm that Nigel was correct about nobody remaining in the base. They also find various weapons and supplies that were abandoned by Galactic.

"We hit the fuckin' mother load with this base. Why would Galactic let this all go to waste if they knew we were coming?" Lenny questions.

"My guess is that they didn't want anyone like us getting our hands on them. They probably thought that reinforcements would destroy us and the base before we could take inventory." Nigel deduces.

"Won't somebody from Galactic be suspicious when they don't hear from any of their operatives who were on the ship?" Rachel asks.

"Most likely. But by then, we'll have taken control and or gone to another planet once we're done here. So David and Constance, I suggest you look for any computers that can give clues to where else in the galaxy they could be." Nigel orders.

"Already on it." Constance says.

As Constance looks at the computer, she hits the motherload with information. She finds other outposts that Sector Z has placed throughout the galaxy. She also finds other planets that Galactic has targeted. As well as the status of the Earth invasion and its enemies there.

"Hoooweee!" She shouts.

"What did you find?" Nigel asks.

"The fucking motherload." She answers. "They have everything on here. I mean look at this. Status on Earth Invasion: Stalemate, Enemies on all sides. Extra reinforcements necessary for battle in the Australia front."

"Australia? Isn't that where Numbuh 4 is from?" Rachel asks.

"It is. So I imagine he's leading the charge on that front. And it is entirely possible that the ship that Bruce blew up was heading there." Nigel states.

"Hmm. So we're helping Earth and space at the same time." Bruce points out.

"Guess it would be good to kill two birds with one stone. I suggest what we do is do the other outposts across the Galaxy. Then we find out if there are more planets under Galactic threat as we go. Besides if we manage not to destroy the ships like this one, we could turn into a fleet." Rachel says.

"Well let's hope we don't shoot down the ships before we do so. But before we go to the next outpost, I suggest that we assist these planets in need first." Nigel says.

"He's right. Hell maybe we could build intergalactic relationships in our fight against Galactic. Help these planets like we did Pegasi." Lenny says in agreement with Nigel.

"Alright then. We'll use this as base while we help the planets in this solar system." Rachel says.

That night, they all go to sleep in makeshift beds as they prepare for the fights they are going to fight for the next several months. Rachel and Nigel cuddle up with each other.

"This is going to be a LONG space trip." Nigel says sarcastically.

"Well at least we'll know what to do in the meantime while we're out here. I'm just worried about Harvey. Hopefully Fanny is treating him well." Rachel says.

"I understand why she wanted to make it up to you, bust hopefully your brother doesn't push her buttons." Nigel comments.

"You and I both know that anyone who pushes Fanny's buttons doesn't make that mistake twice. Even though she promised to better herself, something is gonna make her go crazy on someone." Rachel says.

"You're right about that. Bust let's not worry about that right now. Let's just get some rest, we have a lot of work to do in the morning." Nigel says as Rachel hugs him closer before dozing off to sleep.

Watching them without their knowledge, David says to himself, "They really are perfect for each other."

End of the chapter. Titan is another planet I've used before in The Thorns in Our Side. The next few chapters are gonna be each of the different teams in different fights. The next chapter is going to focus on KND Command completing their victory in Australia. Until then, please read and review.
