CHAPTER 2. Explanation and destiny.

Benjamin, still in his plumber's armour, followed the Pope to the Palace royal dining room.

Behind him are his still dumbfounded classmates at his big revelation.

"Please be seated, and enjoy the drinks we provided." As Ben was given a cup of wine Ben took and drank which shocks Everyone that the so-called soccer player of Bellwood High and Game nerd of sumo slammers can drink at the age of 17.

"I'll explain everything." The Pope continued as Ben finished his wine.

"Hmm, not bad if I do say so myself. it may not be Mr. Smoothie but it'll do." Ben settled down his cup as Ben put his joined hand below his chin looking dead serious which is rare for everyone to see. "Now care to explain why you brought us here unwillingly, and don't hold back on any information I know if someone is lying." He said.

It comes to an understanding that Benjamin is no ordinary Teenager, he is a well trained secret agent if he could lie about himself to them who knows how much knows about them talking bad things about him.

"Yes as I said we don't mean you any harm you were just chosen as heroes by our God Lord Ehit. So please lend me your ears till the very End." The Pope told them.

Ben sighs and nods. "Okay let's start with this crap and you also tell me how the hell you knew about the symbol for my badge." He said and the Priest nodded.

"Yes of course." The Pope said. 'It's really him isn't it? The proclaimed god who has the ability to take the forms of others that will be destined to end this conflict and free us from submission.' He thought.

"This is a world parallel to yours, Tortus. It is our only god whom we worship, Eht Sama, who summoned you to this world. Compared to ours, your world is far more superior."

"*Sighing.* Damn reality shows these days are trying so hard." Ryutarou muttered to Shizuku who agreed.

"You have powers that surpass the humans of this world." The Pope actually glanced at Ben who looked suddenly nervous.

'Shit, not only they forced me to reveal my secret but he might actually know about the omnitrix!' Curse Ben in his thoughts.

"Well that's according to our oracle, Whom Eht Sama to convey his message to."

Scenery changes to a chaotic future of this world.

"But lately, strange things are happening, and now humanity of this world faces dangers that may lead us to our ruin."

Ben frowned at this. 'Why does it feel like this is going somewhere down the line like one of those anime cliches?' He thought.

"Long ago we have been at war with the Demons who rule the southern part of this world."

'I'm not gonna like where this is going, am I?' Ben sighs, frustrated knowing why these people brought him and his classmates here.

"Eht-Sama brought you all here to this world to help save us from such a horrible fate." The Pope extended his arms dramatically.

Ben noticed that tension was around the room including sensei Aiko who was about to yell her protest but Ben beat her to it and slammed her fist into the table startling everyone.

"That's the biggest bullshit I ever heard from people like you." Ben pinched the bridges of his nose. "You can't honestly make us believe that we're gonna be fighting your stupid war!" He glared at the pope, shocking everyone more.

"Wait war?" Kouki gasped in shock and worry when he heard Ben mentioned that.

"What the heck is this old man saying?!" Exclaimed one of his classmates.

"Wait, don't tell me we actually got whisked to another world?!"

"WHAT ARE YOU SAYING?!" They heard the voice of Aiko Sensei.

"Aiko Sensei, so you're in the classroom too?" Ben asked looking at her shock that he didn't notice her being with them.

"Have you got any permission for this?" Glares Aiko Sensei. "If not, I'll sue you for kidnapping us! That's a horrible joke! This is the worst prank I've ever seen!"

"Yeah screw this shitty prank program!" Taniguchi Ryou laughed.

"Fight on AI-chan!" Cheered Nakamura Eri.

"RETURN US TO THE SCHOOL!" Aiko Sensei demanded.

"Hmm, this is problematic." Ishtar Sigh at this. "Then joined us outside to take a breather." Ben got irritated at this and aimed his blaster upward again to settle down the notice which startled everyone.

"Enough, clearly I have more experience with this type of situation." Ben glares at them as he approaches Ishtar. "Okay Pope dude, tell us what we need to know exactly what we are in for and what do you know about the symbol of my badge." He crossed his arms. "Because something tells me there's more to this than meets the eye now I have more questions. Are there any other races in this world other than demons and humans?"

"Hmm, unlike the rest of you Benjamin Kun seems to believe me." Ishtar Smiled at Ben. "Something tells me you have some experience in this situation." Ben shrugged at this.

"Something like that." Ben admitted as he had already seen too many universes during the Time War with the other Bens, Vilgax and Eon.

"Well then, let me tell you about our world while we walk to the gates." The priest said as they followed him.

"{Let me tell you Ishtar San's long explanation in summary. In Tortus there are three major races. Humans who govern the north, Demons who ruled the South, And the Demi Humans who inhabit the forest of the east.}"

Shows a long going war between Humans and Demons.

"{The war of the humans against the demons has been going on for hundreds of years, But there has not been any major clashes in recent years. Then the demons started using monsters and the tides of wars had greatly turned.}"

The gang was being led by the priest to the main gate.

"Before you are the gates." Muttered the pope.

"{To answer the pleas of the humans. The god of this world summoned us here.}" It was Ben Tennyson who narrated.

They saw a massive door being open for them.

"If you still have questions about which world you are in at this moment, you can confirm it with your own eyes now."

As the door opened they saw what they couldn't believe as they found themselves on a mountain.

"Eh? We're in the mountains?" Gasped Aiko Sensei in shock and awe as for Ben he's not surprised, just suspicious of the people around him.

"Don't tell me this whole thing is real?!" Panic Aiko.

"Do you believe me now?" Ishtar Lombard asked.

"I believe and I fully understand." Gulp Kaoki. "The problem is…." Ben cut him off.

"I have two last questions, the first one is, If you can summon us to this world, surely you can return us to our world?" Ben sighs knowing that there is more to this as he thought as he saw the sympathetic loom the pope gave them. "And the second one is about my badge."

"HE'S RIGHT YOU CAN SEND US BACK RIGHT?!" Asked everyone however the look the pope gave them betrayed them as Ben scoffed at this.

"Let me guess you can't, can you?" Ben scoffs as he crosses his arms. "Or you don't want to send us back at all."

This horrified everyone. "No, you were all summoned here by Eht-Sama. Even if I wanted to bring you back I can't." Sighed Ishtar.

Ben frowned at that. 'Can't or won't is the simple choice and he's ignoring the latter, he's definitely lying alright.' He thought about how bullshit these people are and his so-called classmates are a bunch of idiots to see that they were all being used.

"That's outrageous!"

"You can't be serious!"

Yelling and screaming was heard from Ben's class.

"They're right, if you guys needed help, you could just summon someone with a bit more experience when it comes to fighting a war. I may not have that experience a bit longer but I know a thing or two about fighting and surviving in a war. These guys on the other hand lack it!" Ben exclaimed and they couldn't argue about that logic they are just students for crying out loud kids! "Now answer me this, what do you know about this symbol?" Shows the omnitrix symbol of the Plumbers badge.

"You're not really gonna give up are you?" Ishtar asked but when Ben gave him a look of seriousness on his face. "Very well, that symbol is the symbol of the long lost god before Lord Eht-Sama that is the very symbol of the God Omni who has the power to take forms of other races including the ones from beyond the stars." Ben stares at him with wide eyes.

'So he does know about the omnitrix. Does that mean another me once existed in this universe?' Ben asked himself. "Okay that answers my question but can bring us back?" He asked.

"As I stated before only Ehit-Sama was the one who transported you all here into our world. I, a mere human and do not possess the power to do such."

"WHAT?!"

"DON'T GIVE ME THAT CRAP!"

Ben just sighs as he pokes his left pocket and grasps the feeling of the Omnitrix in his pocket. 'Does Alien X have the power to bring us back?' He thought after experiencing the power of his Ben Prime's omnitrix he can do well now knows each alien to turn into and has learned from Ben 10K about Alien X.

Kaori was sad at the situation they are in but more importantly she can't help but keep looking at Ben.

'That's one shitty god, I for one will turn into one when it's necessary.' Ben thought as grip on the omnitrix within his pocket. 'Not only these people worship a shitty god.'

"Whether you are able to return to your world or not it's entirely up to Eht-Sama."

'There's something wrong with them and this world, not only that Ishtar Lombard is definitely using my so-called classmates' emotional stress due to our situation to manipulate us into doing what they asked as their own pawn in their stupid war.' Ben gritted his teeth now. 'Damn assholes.'

"Lord Ehit. Is our god that protects us and the one we worship in the Church of Saints. He is the one that created this world. Most likely Lord Ehit realized that if things remained this way humanity of this world would face destruction. And this was the reason you were summoned here to avoid this dark future. The world you come from is higher ranked than ours, the people from your world would have exceptional power here. Before the summon, we prayed to Lord Ehit. You were the "salvation" that he sent into tortus one this conflict is stop he might be persuaded on bringing you all back."

'So the culprit of the whole bullshit is the god of this world, huh? If you are saving humans, why did you create demons and monsters? I'd be glad to beat the crap of you instead of demons.' Ben suddenly thought determined.

"With your powers, we will overthrow the Devils and save the Humans by the will of Lord Ehit."

Ben stole a glance at his teacher and classmates. He now starts to hate heroics due to his classmates naive minds about being a hero who likes fame as part of their honor as one which disgust him because being a hero takes guts not just to save a life but also risk yours and It was what he had learn from both Grandpa Max when he was young and Professor Paradox during the time war. But whether to accept the request or not wasn't his to decide. Ben will be fine either way. If he was to be "killed" in this world. He'd had more time to investigate the true nature of this world but he figured not to underestimate someone with a death wish.

It was Hatayama-sensei who protested suddenly.

"Please don't joke around! In the end, these children will be fighting in a war! I won't allow such a thing! I will absolutely not allow such a thing! Please let us return! Surely, their families will be worried about them! What you have done is merely kidnapping!"

That's where Ben decided to back her up somehow...

As Ben stood up from his seat. It was out of his character, but he didn't know... why he stood up for the teacher. Maybe now he really admired their teacher even if he was not a real transfer student.

"She's got a point." The attention of the whole hall was directed at Ben. "And the problems of your world don't concern us at all." It was a cruel thing to say but Ben was reasonable enough. "The most important of all, we are just mere students or at least they are. If you're willing to look for someone with experience in fighting monsters it'll be someone in my level." Ben gestured to his outfit.

"Ah so you're saying young man that you have the same powers as God Omni?" Ishtar asked as had twinkles in his eyes which caused Ben to roll his eyes.

"Cut the crap old man, I may have the symbol of your "So-called" God but that doesn't mean I have that kind of power." Ben lied about the last part. "That symbol and pride and representation of my organization."

Everyone in the hall started murmuring again.

"What do you mean, Tennyson Kun?" Ms. Hamayata asked curiously as he properly introduced himself with a salute.

"I'm Benjamin Tennyson, Agent of plumbers." Ben introduces himself presenting his plumbers badge.

"Wait plumbers?" Asked one of his classmates.

"You guys really fix toilets." Daisuke snorted and Ben rolled his eyes as he knew he was gonna mess with him.

"No damn ass, as I said it wasn't what you think of. The plumbers are the name of the organizations founded by; U.S. President George Washington followed by; Thomas Jefferson, Abraham Lincoln and Theodore Roosevelt since the late 17th century by these guys and have dedicated their lives to protecting the world from supernatural, dimensional and extraterrestrial threats." Ben explained half of the history of the plumbers but not the location of their base which is classified information to non plumber members.

"Wait so the myths and rumors about President Abraham Lincoln hunting zombies are all true?" Shirasaki asked in awe as Ben nodded.

"No freaking way!" Atsushi Tamai Exclaimed in shock.

"Zombies are real!" Gasp Kouki in horror and awe.

"Well, if we can get "Summoned" in another world, then it has to be real right?" Kousuke Endou pointed out.

"Wait, so you're part of this organization as a secret agent?" Nana Miyazaki asked and Ben nodded.

"If you're an agent, what are you doing back in Japan for the past year?" Noboru Aikawa pointed out.

Ben crossed his arms and shook his head. "Sorry guys but my mission is classified." He told them

Kaori was silent that her friend had been lying to them ever since he enrolled to their school; he was not there at all as a transfer student but as an agent for the U.S. government on an undercover mission. 'Wait does that mean, Ben somehow knows that something weird is gonna happen to us?' She asked herself.

"So does that mean you're some kind of Men In Black?" Ryutarou Sakagami asked as he narrowed his eyes at Ben cautiously.

Ben actually snickers at that and Ben nodded. "Yup, our first priority is to look for aliens that are hiding amongst us and try to figure out whether they are a threat to our future or a refugee of some kind that needs to watch out for." He said.

"Hold on a second, are you saying that you're gonna erase our memories now that we know your true identity?!" Suzu Taniguchi asked nervously however they got a reply by a snort from Ben.

"Ben Kun?" Kaori asked curiously on what Benjamin is thinking of planning as they watch him trying to hold back laughter as he prepares to make a joke.

"Well it's not impossible for the plumbers to make such similar tech as the neuralyzer but it's possible if I have the method to erase your memories of today." Ben admitted causing them to gasp. "Got'cha." He started laughing as everyone glared at him while Shizuku approached him from the side and punched him in the shoulder." Ow! Okay I deserve that." He snorted as he rubbed the shoulder Shizuku had punched. "But on a serious note if the plumbers were able to build such fictional tech not only would such a device be awesome to have but it would be very useful. Although I wouldn't worry about losing your memories today guys, I won't do that since I don't have that kind of tech with me, just my armor and blasters as well as other mini Gadgets." He reassured them all, making some of them a bit calm.

"Tennyson Kun, Making people lose their memories is not to joke around doofus." Shizuku glares at him and Ben pouts.

"Oh come on, I'm just messing around dweeb and besides, if that happens I'm just following protocols." Yaegashi glares at him as Kaori now secretly sighs in relief knowing that she no longer need to worry about her losing her memories of meeting Benjamin. "Fine, anyways back to the serious matter, as I pointed out these guys are not trained soldiers. Some of us aren't even adults yet. You should think about this matter more reasonably." He pointed out the logic of the situation.

Hell yeah, human beings are genetically selfish across the Omniverse. You think to protect your people, yes, it's perfectly okay as long as you don't cause problems for others. When Ben was just learning to be a hero during the time war he started liking kicking the butts of villains because they didn't leave other people alone and caused problems for others endlessly. This made Ben happily punch someone who troubles him and his mission.

"I sympathize with your feelings. Unfortunately, The magic that interferes with other worlds is magic we humans cannot use. Whether or not you can return. it is only up to Lord Ehit to decide if things went the way he wanted it to be once the war is dealt with."

This made Ben narrowed his eyes at that moment. And then he glared at the pope and looked around. His classmates were shocked, no surprise. Shit, it is way too convenient. He doesn't wanna be an isekai protagonist in a garbage world.

"That's impossible, what do you mean not possible? If you can summon us, you can send us back!"

Hatayama-sensei yelled at the Pope.

Considering it was Ehit who summoned them here, yes - these priests were just totally useless or are refusing.

'Tsk, this is just perfect. It's Either I used the Omnitrix and found the alien my other selves called Alien X and used it to send myself back home or wait out for paradox to send me back.' Ben thought angrily, glaring at the Pope who's obviously lying about them couldn't be sent back.

Ben clicked his tongue furiously but couldn't say anything back. Not even to motivate my classmates. It's not like they liked me as a classmate anyway. So I sat down for now.

"Such a thing…"

Hatayama-sensei lost her strength at that point and dropped into her chair like a stone.

"That's all Lies! Why can't we return?!"

"Iyaa. I just want to return!"

"Don't even joke about war! Don't mess with me!"

"Why, Why, Why…"

The students started to rustle at that.

While the students started to panic at the situation, Ishtar was just calmly watching the reactions of the students. Heck, if he weren't a significant figure in whatever country they were in Ben would have punched him in the face.

Because the students were not gonna stop panicking, that Kouki Amanogawa boy stood up and slammed the table with a bang. This sound surprised the students and got their attention.

'Man, he's too lucky, overflowing with charisma.' Ben thought as he watched Amanogawa.

"Everyone, there is no reason to make so much noise in front of Ishtar-san. He had nothing to do with it. …Me, I'm going to fight. The humans of this world are facing a crisis, that is a fact. Knowing that, I cannot ignore their pleas for help. If I was summoned to save humans, we may be able to return after we have saved them. Ishtar-san, how about it?"

'Geez, this guy is taking advantage of his popularity to force his opinion on others. Well, but... it's not mine to decide again. I'm gonna follow someone's lead anyway.' Ben thought annoyed at Kouki.

"Right, Lord Ehit will answer the wishes of the Saviors." Ishtar told them

"We all have special powers right? Since I came here I've been feeling this sense of power." Kouki Amanogawa stated determined.

"Yes, that's right. Roughly, each of you has power that is several times higher than the people from this world."

"Then it's okay. I'll fight. I'll save the people, and then we can all go home. I'll save the world and everyone, you'll see!" The naive boy declared proudly with a bright smile.

The students that earlier had an expression of despair began to regain calmness and vigor. Half of the schoolgirls sent admiring glances at him.

"I thought you would say something like that. If you were to do it alone, I would worry about you. I'll also fight." (Random kid)

"Ryutaro." Kouki Amanogawa was stunned at his friend's words.

"At this moment that is all we can do. It's not like I hate it, I'll fight too." Yaegashi added.

"Shizuku."

"Eh, If Shizuku-chan is going, I'll try my best." Shirasaki stated.

"Kaori."

The declaration of Yaegashi and Shirasaki participation made me flinch. Ben raised an eyebrow at Shirasaki who gestured at him to volunteer. No, no way in hell I was saying that. Ben went out of his way to speak to a Priest and protect them but didn't even earn himself a credit. Not like Ben wanted to draw more attention though he needs to figure out what's really going on.

Ben noticed that Hatayama-sensei tried to argue against it with watery eyes, but against Kouki Amanogawa's display, it was useless.

Ben sighs at this in frustration they need to figure out how to get back home not to help these people with their pointless war. 'Damn, I had to get myself involved now.' He thought as he got up from his seat keeping his composure not to break out into a scowl.

"Hey, Amano! Hear me out!"

The chatters of the students died down immediately as my yell overwhelmed their voices.

"My name is Amanogawa Kouki." Amanogawa corrected Ben in pronouncing his name.

"Ay, whatever. If you wanna face the danger, do it alone. Don't force your opinion on others and get them involved in danger! Do you understand? I don't care about your heroics or sense of justice. You don't even know what's at stake in being a true hero like I do." I glanced at Shirasaki. "And besides, I honestly... don't... want my friends... hurt."

Calling someone a friend isn't a good thing right now. Ben promised himself that he will not bring important people into his affairs as a plumber agent which would lead his enemies to harm them.

Yaegashi is another story. She is like a samurai. She is strong-willed and... capable. But Shirasaki is just like what her name suggests. She can be easily dyed by others. However Ben hardly regarded her as a friend... more like an annoying nobody bugging him around. But when Ben came to know her, he was glad he'd finally got someone... someone he could care for and protect as a true hero.

The students began to complain about Ben's statements, not Amanogawa, which made Ben couldn't just compete against him, huh? He then took a pathetic glance at Shirasaki who was staring at him in return with pity.

"You shouldn't say that? Huh, my friends? Would you rather listen to him who was actually a spy Agent to our country and might as well be just making out stories or participating in the war as honourable heroes!?"

Ben couldn't bare with this idiot on discriminatin the plumbers and so to teach Kouki a lesson.

"Hey asshole, what did you say about the plumbers!" Ben charged at him and punched him in the face causing a black eye knocking him out, shocking everyone around him.

"Alright you idiots, don't say I didn't warn you but if you're all willing to die to people you don't know fine by me I rather worried about me getting back to our home and finishing my mission?!"

"And what is your mission?" Ishtar asks him and Ben sighs knowing that he has to disobey protocol.

"Alright fine since we are all mostly gonna die in this world I'll tell you, the plumbers branch in Japan was assigned by the Japanese president himself to operate once again and after hearing about me facing and defeating one of the most dangerous alien criminals in our universe they hired me to help out by investigate a possible alien incursion going on within Tokyo which might also lead to an alien conspiracy invasion. That is my mission, now I don't want any of you trying to discriminating my organization because they made huge and true honour in keeping our own planet safe." Ben said wanting to walk off out of the hall as Kouki Amanogawa was being put back to his chair by his friends as the room felt awkward.

A few minutes later Kouki woke up with a black eye as he kept glaring at Ben for that humiliation but Ben ignored it. As for half of his class some believe Ben that he has a point that this might be dangerous and life threatening even if they were given powers they could still died as they are not born fighters like Ben as for those who are loyal to Kouki like Ryutarou Sakagami who's his childhood friend agrees with him in helping these people up in their war and soon half of the class followed Ben sigh and decided to just go with it till they find a way to go back home.

And so the conclusion was everyone in the class was going to participate in the war. The priest had a very satisfied expression on his face.

The one I failed to understand was... Kouki Amanogawa.

And oddly enough, if Ben wasn't wrong, Ishtar saw right through Amanogawa's personality and bent it to his own use.

Forget it. Ben had to go with the flow for the time being.

And - how are ordinary students from another world supposed to fight the demons and monsters in this garbage world?

Ben then started to remember that there are Shirasaki and Yaegashi who learned dojo. And him being an actual secret plumber agent who learns a lot of martials arts when it comes to hand to hand combat fighting due to his training in the plumber's academy specifically with his experience the first time he uses his other self's omnitrix and fight in his alien forms made him tough.

Ben figured that Ishtar had prepared something for that, too.

Ishtar said, this church is located on "Divine's Mountain" and at the foot is the "Hairihi Kingdom" have arrange for this. The kingdom had a very close relationship with the Church, the god that they worshipped, was the God of Creation Eht and this country was founded by the family of Charm Byrne. The relationship was strong because the church supported this country.

When the students went out the front gate of the church, Ben quietly followed them from behind. We were going to descend the mountain and visit the Hairihi Kingdom. The church was located at the summit of "Devine's Mountain".

The sea of clouds outside the majestic church gates suggested that we were on a very high mountain. Ben's classmates were fascinated with the grand scene of the blue sky, the sparkling sun, and the sea of clouds.

Although the only thing that amused Ben on the way to the Kingdom was Ishtar's magic shows. Descending the mountain, we could see a big town underneath. A huge castle was built into the mountain and the castle town spread from the castle. This was the Hairihi Kingdom, according to Ishtar.

When they arrived at the Royal Palace, we were ushered into the throne room straight away. Following Ishtar, we walked through the corridors. Ben's classmates couldn't help but eyed the decorations, the knights, and the maids. In fact, following his classmates from behind and watching their interactions were quite amusing.

Entering the throne room, Ben saw a red carpet that led from the entrance all the way to a luxurious throne. On the throne sat a middle-aged man that conveyed ambition and dignity. Probably the King. Next to him was a woman who I thought was the Queen.

Next to her was a 10-year-old boy with blonde hair and blue eyes. A 15-16-year-old girl was next to him, and there was a small 7-8-year-old girl that accompanied her.

Seems like the whole royal family is here.

And the many other people who were well-dressed on both sides of the carpet. Background characters, supposedly.

Following Ishtar who later joined the King and his gang, Ben's useless classmates stopped in front of the throne. As Ben stayed in the back and analyzed the situation continuously. The King, huh? One wrong move and we can lose their heads here?

But judging from the relationship with the Church, the whole kingdom seemed to be devoted to religion. The heroes their god summoned to this world might be spared... Ben guesses.

Ben doesn't remember the names of the royal family. Sorry. He just didn't pay attention to them because he was busy watching his back and the others'. Looking out for danger as part of his training as a plumber agent as well as Ben didn't know how the audience with the King ended.

Oh, but... the King's last name is Hairihi. Of course, it's the name of the Kingdom itself after all.

A banquet was held after that. Here came the event that Ben had to keep his guards up. They served them some kind of fantasy world drink with weird colours, again, which wasn't a banana strawberry mix. Ben tasted it and found out that it was delicious.

'Crap... I drank half of that weird drink before I noticed. No, I should keep my guard up.' Ben thought to himself.
