When both her boys started coming down with coughs and stuffy noses, she rubbed vapor rub on them, and it helped. They also really appreciated it. Well, that's when they were young.
Flashforward to now. DJ noticed Max was coughing more then usual. She offered to rub Vapor Rub on his chest, but he refused.
'Mom! I'm not a little kid anymore. I can rub it on myself.' He said.
DJ tried not to be hurt by it, because the other one acted the same. But she couldn't help it. Her son was growing up and wanted to do things by himself.
'Tommy, please don't grow up too fast.' She said to her youngest.
That night.
'Mom, can you rub Vapor Rub on me?' Max asked.
'Of course, sweetie! What made you change your mind?' DJ asked, very surprised.
