April 20XX

The day was still fresh as I stepped off the train to what would be my temporary residence for the time being while my family was busy being heroes and other such things. The place i was staying was a small cafe in a quiet neighborhood. The cafe in question belonged to a Ruru Hanamoto, but everyone just called him Boss. I don't know how to describe it but I had noticed the cafe had this calming aura to it when I walked in.

"Hey, are you Hanamoto-san?" I asked in a nervous tone

"Yeah, who's asking?" he said in a tone that sounded almost defensive

"I'm Seijou Horie, the second-year student."

"Oh that's you, well you should have said so first. Let me show you where you'll be staying."

I was led to a room similar to an attic or storage room, it was a litter cluttered but i could fix it with time. I started wondering how life would be different than it was before, the city was large, probably comparable to that of shibuya. The biggest change that I know about when coming here in the change in schools, at my old school i was always made fun of for my quirk, or lack thereof, it was just something I put up with for my life because at the end of the day there is nothing that can be done about the past. There was one thing though, there was this weird app that had made its way onto my phone somehow, i had noticed it while looking through my phone before going to bed the day before i was to start at my new school I promptly attempted to delete it which worked for the time being. That's when it started, I awoke in a room that was unknown to me. It consisted of a courtroom-like interior, but the walls were all made of a soft Velvet material, and strangest of all in the place of where the judge would sit in any normal court, sat a smallish sized man with a distinctly long nose.

"Welcome to the velvet room, my name is Igor the host of this ever changing room"

His voice was almost calming and seemed very welcoming. He had mentioned him being the host of the room, which in context didn't give much information to the current situation.

"I see that you are unsure of what the events that are unfolding before you mean in your case, this in the velvet room a place between worlds, between mind and matter, dreams and existence. The room matches that of which the host sees themselves, in your case i would say that you see the world as lacking justice in the places in which it truly matters"

He… did make a point,

"You may in the future be able to fight against that inequality between man and set things right once more. But for now i bid you farewell, until we meet again"

I felt weak, tired almost but I guess I passed out as the world faded to black in an instant. I woke up in a jolt, almost like I was started by something before I woke up. The school, namely Aldera Junior High, was farther downtown that you would have liked, but thank god for the subway. I walked fast out of the station trying to avoid the heavy rain from falling onto me. A man passes you by scoffing as he passes you almost to spite you, like he knows your entire life's story. A boy of medium stature with darkish sand colored hair out of nowhere runs by you knocking the stuff out your hand.

"Yo, I'm sorry for bumpn into you like that, was just trying to get to school. You go to Aldera too?"

"Yeah, I'm a second year transfer from back east, i'll just be here for around a year while my parents are away, working as heroes"

"That's pretty cool dude, you must be popular, everyone loves heroes."

"Actually…" you pause debating in your head whether to tell him or not. You breath making up your mind

"I'm quirkless" that seemed to get his attention, probably wasn't expecting a pro's kid to not have a quirk

"Ah shit man, the name's Toiki Shoji. Man i kinda feel bad for ya, being you know, quirkless. I'm similar, I just have a weak quirk. My quirk is just a simple quirk that allows me to run slightly faster, not very useful in anything but stuff like track or sports. Oh and by the way you should avoid this teacher, Shitarou Hiraishi. He's a real ass."

I almost felt like i had heard something come from my bag but paid it no mind

"I mean like he treats the school like he's some Warden to a Prison of his making with how he treats the students with weak or no quirks and put the ones with stronger, more hero worthy quirks in positions of power where they don't get in trouble when they bully the others

"Candidate Found, Begining navigation…"

"Anyways let's get to school"

I think how life could be better now, I don't even notice the weird things around me until I'm face to face with a large scale prison. I don't understand what the hell is happening. But wherever we are, there is no doubt, this is a real prison

"No, this is the correct way. I've been down this route too many times to count, so i know this is the one." Shoji-kun seems worried about something, I was about to ask when i notice the sign located in front of whatever this building is

"Hey shoji, what about the sign." he looks at you, then the sign, then back at you. He looks unsure but confident

"You're right, maybe this is just an elaborate prank put on by the school to fool us or something like that. Let's go inside to see what's going on with the school."

I am just confused, but decided to go along with him to find out what is going on. What is with the floor, whenever I walk it's like I stepped in an invisible puddle of some kind with splashes of red flying into the air. The inside is just as elaborate as the outside with cells full of people lining the walls. There is no way someone could pull off a prank like this without some kind of incredibly strong illusion quirk.

"Damn, no signal" you grimace, worried about just getting out of there

"I think…" Then I hear it, heavy footsteps heading in our direction, they look to be prison guards, so this is a prison. Shoji still must think this is a prank, so he just walks up to them and asks them to tell him what's going on. I start to talk only to be hit over the head and fall unconscious.
