Hi, welcome to my 2nd part of my story I'm still quite new at.

This chapter is a little longer than number 1.

I hope you enjoy and any feedback is respected.

I'll be using words like;

Y/N= Your name

YLN= Your last name

Muggles= Non-Magical people

Chapter 2. Preparing.

I couldn't really sleep last night I was so excited. It's now been just over a month since I got my letter from Hogwarts. My mum has already gotten everything i would need for school. I can't wait to meet new people and become the best Witch in Hogwarts*

Mum- 'Y/N come on, your going to be late for the train.'

Y/N- 'Mum I'm coming, I'm getting Oli into his cage'

Oli is my Toad, hes the best animal companion ever, but he doesn't like his living arrangements*

Mum- 'Y/N COME ON LETS GO!'

Y/N- *I run down the stairs nearly falling over* ' I'm here, and I'm ready!'

Mum- 'Got everything?'

Y/N- 'Yep. LETS GO!'

Mum- 'Right in the car, seat belt on. And you better hope there is no traffic.'

Y/N- 'I'm sorry okay, it's not like I'm going to my dream school. Literally either. I'm just so excited'

Mum- 'I get that darling but you are going to be late if you kept that up, and McGonagall wouldn't of been impressed with that'

Y/N- 'I'm sorry!, I'll try and be on time next year'

Mum- 'Thank you!.'

Some time passes by while we are in the car on the way to the station. We pass the parks and woods I used to play in with my friends. I do feel sad about leaving a sort of melancholy moment, but I'm still over come with excitement, and that makes me feel better.*

We left the house at 6.30am and got to the station by 8am. We are on time even though I was apparently running late*

My train is at 8.45am, enough time to go to the bathroom, hug Mum and watch her tear up as I leave that station*

Mum- 'Y/N bath...*

I don't let her finish as I already know what shes going to say*

Y/N- 'Room, mum I already know'

I waddle into the bathroom, do my business and come back out, my mum has a bag of treats for me and she begins to tear like I knew she would*

Y/N- 'Mum, it's okay. I'll be fine'

Mum- 'I know darling I just cant believe that your all grow up and going to Hogwarts'

We begin to walk over to Platform 9. What sits between the wall at 9 and 10, is the magical Platform 9 and 3 quarters. That's the place, the Hogwarts students get the train, it's so the muggles don't get suspicious about us wizards, and witches*

Mum- 'Ready darling?'

Y/N- *I glance over at my Mum, I look at her eyes as I know in my heart she's going to cry, I'm apprehensive about leaving. I know Hogwarts is my home, were I'm supposed to belong. But I, Me, belong with my Mum. I look at her again*

'Ready Mum, Ready as I'll ever be'

Mum- *She reaches for your hand, holds on tight and you walk through the wall between gate 9 and 10, you have dreamed of this your whole life and your still in disbelief. You come out the other end into Platform 9 and 3 quarters, the train is sounding its horn for the 8.45am leaving to head to Hogwarts. She places your luggage into the compartment, and asks 'is Oli in here or on your lap for the journey' you jester at taking him in to the carriage. 'Okay' she says as like you knew she would, she tears up again. Not fully crying but sort of sobbing*

The conductor of the train, come over and says 'You on or off miss, cause your going to have to decide' your reply 'Definitely on, just 2 minutes so I can hug her'. He looks you up and down and makes a sort of half thumbs up at you.*

Y/N- 'Mum, MUM! look at me'

Mum- 'Darling...'

Y/N- 'Its going to be fine, your going to be fine, I'm going to be fine'

She looks at you and nods. You get onto the train with Oli, sit in one of the empty carriages and wave goodbye at her*

Mum- *Mouths 'I love you'*

Y/N- *Mouths back 'I love you more'* *you smile at her as the train moves away from the station and your off*

Y/N- 'Hogwarts here we go!'

you say to yourself, a little bit too loud, so your slightly embarrassed*

The carriage door swings open and 2 Boys walk in*

Boy 1- 'Oh sorry Miss, we thought this was empty'

Boy 2- 'Yeah sorry, didnt mean to intrude'

Y/H- 'Oh no it's okay, I'm lonely anyway could use your company, if you don't mind of course'

The boys look at one another and shake there heads.They too are lonely. They sit down across from you and look at Oli.*

Y/N- 'He's a frog, don't worry hes really nice and can sometimes even be a bit of a prince charming'

Boy 1- 'He's cool, I have my Rat French'

Boy 2- 'Yeah i think he's a prince charming look alike, I have my Owl Rami'

Y/N- 'They are both great animals, I never even knew we could take Rats. But I like there names. What are your names?'

Boy 1- 'My name is Ezra'

Boy 2- 'My name is Hiro'

Y/N- ' Nice to meet you guys'

As they sit down, the candy cart comes on by*

Cart lady- 'Hello, what would you like from my cart'

Hiro- 'I'll have the chocolate frogs'

Ezra- 'I'll have the Fudge flys'

Y/N- 'I'll have the Jelly beans'

Cart lady- 'Here you go darlings, enjoy'

The lady hands us our sweets, as she carries on down the asile in the train to the other carriages*

Then just as the door begins to close it swings back open*

Girl 1- 'Oh sorry, I thought this was...'

Me, Hiro and Erza finished her sentence at the same time*

Y/N, Hiro and Ezra- 'Empty'

We all laugh at one another, the girl joins in*

Y/N- 'What's your name?'

Girl- 'I'm Mary'

Y/N- 'Hello mary, I'm Y/N, and this is Ezra and Hiro' *You gesture over to them, they both give a half smile and wave at Mary*

Mary- 'Lovely to meet you all!'

A white noice cracking sound begins to play over the intercom, the conductor of the train speaks 'Witches, wizards and those alike, the train will be coming into Hogwarts station soon, please hold onto any animals or loose luggage and please close all windows and doors. Thank you'*

Hiro- 'Nearly there already? That was quick'

Y/N- 'Sure was Hiro, you know the saying "Time Flys when your having FUN!", I think we were having fun'

The train squeakes down the track as we slow down to get into the Hogwarts station. That white noice comes back on 'And like that we are here' then its back off again.*

The train screeched to a halt, and the door to the carriages all fly open, we peer put of the carriage and see row after row of other children do the same. We decide to hop out of the carriage, step onto the platform and wait for everyone else to come off*
