Velgrynd took another sip of her wine, something that she doesn't really drink all that often but with the stress of publishing her novels, creating scripts for the movies that Veldora will be in—since he always complains that anyone else writing the scripts would just spin the movie into trash— and dealing with her Rudra, she felt she might as well indulge.

her splendid golden eyes blaze in anger as she thought of him

Curse him! That Rudra!

She slammed her cup down in frustration, her blood still boiling at the thought of him.

Velgrynd and her boyfriend Rudra hadn't been getting along lately. Fuck, they haven't been getting along for the past few months!

Their arguments have been growing worse. At first, it was just a simple fight

Rudra had canceled their dates, back then Velgrynd assumed it was because he was busy, being CEO of the eastern empire and all, besides she saw him every day so there was no reason to be clingy, but her instincts told her something different.

so, she asked her adopted little brother Rimuru, Tensura's favorite game developer—and secretly owner of the Jura Tempest corporation — to send either Souei or Souka to spy on them, a week later, Rimuru had sent her a detailed report of Rudra seeing a lovely girl named Saika that worked in a rivaled company.

Velgrynd marveled at how Rimuru's people carried out their jobs faster and more thoroughly than hers and Rudra's. Velgrynd made a mental note to never go against her little brother, as the results might not be worth it.

Back to the point. Many photos and videos had shown that Jackass and the bitch kissing each other and going on dates

it hurt Velgrynd more than she cared to admit

She grits her teeth. The bastard! after everything she did for him! THIS is the way he treats her!?

CRUNCH!

The sound of breaking glass brought Velgrynd out of her speculations. She peered at her hand, now covered in blood and shards of glass. "Ah..." the wine bottle she was holding must have snapped when she was lost in her concerns. "Damn angry much?" a low and annoying voice said. Velgrynd did not turn to the owner of the voice. There was no need to do so. After all, what kind of older sister would she be if she didn't recognize her own little brother's boisterous voice?

"I have every right to be irritable," she emptily replied, not moving from her spot. She felt numb now. After being sullen for a few hours seemed to have tired her out. Velgrynd internally laughed a bit bitterly.

Veldora's golden eye's searched around the living room from where he stood. The place was a mess... multiple chairs and table stands had been thrown everywhere, vases and glasses were damaged, books were all over the floor, etc.

Honestly, it was like a catastrophic being had come in and wrecked the whole place!

it was clear Velgrynd had a tantrum, not that he blamed her, he would probably do the same thing if the one he loved did that to him.

Veldora had gotten the details from his buddy Rimuru after he had heard that Rudra was cheating on his sister, so Veldora went looking for her to make sure she was okay and then found this...

a wrecked living room, a sad, and raging Velgrynd drinking the strongest alcohol they have in the house, something that would surely bring an angry Velzard if the photographer ever found out about it.

Veldora sighed as he strutted over to Velgrynd

Stopping at the couch she was sitting on, He grabbed the bottle of wine, and Velgrynd and pushed her towards the bathroom and said in a joking tone, "Go on! Clean yourself up! It's not like you to be so depressed!" Velgrynd turned around, her mouth opened, but any rejects or denials she had died in her throat as she watched Veldora clean her mess.

Her little brother, her energetic, prideful annoying little brother, that ran from her, Velzard, Veldanava, and Rimuru whenever he was in trouble

was voluntarily cleaning her mess, of his own free will...

Her eyes softened as she watched Veldora. She didn't know if it was the alcohol making her see things, but she did as was told. after taking care of her hand, taking a shower, and getting into warm PJs she found the entire living room clean. She looked around, amazed. 'Veldora did this? In the time that I was gone?' she thought, thoroughly surprised.

"Ah! took ya long enough!" Veldora said, looking up from his manga, probably from Rimuru. He made gestures for her to come over and sit with him. Velgrynd blinked once, then twice at Veldora. who was this impostor?! where did her cute, annoying, worthless little brother go?!

slowly she walked over to the couch and sat next to him. Velgrynd neveriously glanced ar Veldora, for some reason she felt as though she was the younger child.

It was strange, Velgyrnd always felt like being the third oldest meant being a good role model for her younger siblings. meaning she had to keep her cool, scold them when necessary-which was often- and never break down.

'What kind of big sister am I if- '

"'If I let my little brother see this side of me?' is that what you were thinking?" Veldora interrupted her thoughts. Velgrynd flinched and turned her head to Veldora to see his eyes trained on his Shonen manga

to say Velgrynd was beyond shocked would be an understatement

Veldora had hit the nail right on the head. He knew he did; he wasn't THAT much of an idiot. Veldora knew how his siblings think,

Veldanava, while being very intelligent, was often a worrywart

Velzard, while being cold and sadistic on the outside was, kind and soft

Rimuru... well Rimuru was Rimuru

Velgrynd, while being hotheaded and quick-witted, was vulnerable and easily embarrassed

He knew how Velgrynd must have been feeling when she saw those pictures and knew she needed help.

so, he was here to make it better

Veldora looked at Velgrynd who, for the first time in his life, looked like she was about to cry.

crap!

he was not expecting this!

her lashing out, sure!

her mopping and grumbling, sure!

BUT CRYING?!

he was not prepared for this...

He took another glance at Velgrynd

NOPE!

not prepared...,

But steeling himself with resolve,

he moved his hand towards her

And patted her head

after this action, Velgrynd finally broke down

she suddenly lunged at him and hugged him, surprising Veldora so much that he dropped his precious manga on the floor

Unsure what to do, he just held her and patted her head as she cried her heart out.

, After a few hours of Velgrynd venting and crying and Veldora trying to calm her down

They sat in silence, a few here and there sniffles from Velgrynd, and pages of manga being flipped by Veldora, both of them unsure what to do next

Velgrynd, because of the embarrassment of breaking down and being clingy to her brother, wouldn't let go of him until a few minutes ago, like he was a lifeline. She was supposed to be the elder sibling here! a mature and dignified adult but NO, she just had to drink till she dropped dead, and cry like a baby in front of her little brother.

what a horrible sister she was...

Veldora was unsure what to do, since this was the first time, he'd seen Velgrynd crying. He didn't want to hurt any remaining pride she may have,

Damn! if only Rimuru was here!

Both awkwardly sat next to each other in uncomfortable silence.

that was until Veldora had spoken up

"ehm... well" he somewhat started, making Velgrynd look at him in confusion

Veldora sighed but continued to read his manga, albeit awkwardly, "There's going to be an amusement park in the downtown central city in a few days... I had bought tickets for me and Ramiris but since she came up with the stomach flu, she can't go... so would you like to go with me?" he asked

Velgrynd couldn't believe her ears. Was this truly her brother? but although of suspected him, she couldn't stop the grin on her face as she enthusiastically said "Yes!" before hugging him again

Veldora grinned as well before Velgrynd broke the hug out of embarrassment

God damn it! She did it again!

Veldora did his usual laugh before saying,

"Wow, I didn't know my elder sister could be tamed by a simple amusement park! Kehahahaha! I Shall tell Rimuru about this discovery! Hehahahaha!"

Velgrynd used the skill {Scorch Dragon Chop} on Veldora. It was very effective!

"Tell anyone this and I'll tell not only Velzard but Rimuru as well that you were the one that started the war battle between Shion and Diablo by telling them that should they do your homework, you'll tell Rimuru which secretary was better than the other, to which you completely didn't"

Veldora flinched and with a terrified look in his eyes "NO! You wouldn't dare!" Velgrynd grinned evilly "oh yes I would~"

Veldora gasped dramatically and dramatically yelled "NOOOOOOO!" before getting into a fierce staring contest with Velgrynd until both of them laughed

Suddenly Veldora's phone rang. He answered it "Hello- "was the only thing he had gotten out before a certain silver-blued haired sibling of his interrupted him

"Don't you 'Hello' me. Are you with Velgrynd?"

... Oh, shit...

serious Rimuru voice and straight to business...

Veldora gulped and meekly said "Y-yes... she is"

"Good, put me on speaker"

Veldora did as told and put him on speaker

"Velgrynd" she flinched "Y-yes?"

"I'm guessing since Veldora has still not come back for his shoot that you did not entirely read the report I gave you, correct?"

Velgrynd went still

he was right...

she did not entirely read the report he gave her; she just saw the pictures and went crazy...

but what did this have to do with anything?

"If you had actually read those papers, you would have known that it was not talking about Rudra"

"'WHAT?!'" both Veldora and Velgrynd yelled

The azure-haired beauty slammed her hands on the table. "What do you mean it wasn't Rudra?!"

"Yup" Rimuru said casually, "Tell me Velgrynd, does Rudra have any siblings?"

"Of course! You know this already! He's got his twin... brother... Michael..." Velgrynd went so red that it could rival Guy's hair

Rimuru rose an eyebrow "you seriously forgot that Rudra had a twin brother that was getting married in a few months?" He then switched his attention to Veldora

"Veldora, you're going what the fuck is happening right? well, you would have known all this if you didn't storm off when I said 'Veldgrynd suspects Rudra is cheating on her' so this is all your fault for making Veldgrynd cry and misunderstand! as well as making Shion cook dinner and double my work when I didn't compliment her!"

Rimuru grinned as he blamed Veldora. While the first thing didn't count, the Shion thing was actually true. It was all Veldora's fault

Veldora just sat there flabbergasted at how his buddy just casually pushed the blame on him. He couldn't think of any excuse to counter Rimuru's attack

"That guy in the photos and videos wasn't Rudra but his twin brother Michael, and that woman with him was Saika, his fiancée, the two were helping Rudra with something that is very important to him, do you two understand now?"

Rimuru explained, and while he couldn't see it, he knew the two were numbly nodding

Rimuru Grinned again "great! well now cya guys later! oh! and tell Ciel when you see her, I want hot pot for dinner! Bye~Bye!"

and with that, he left the call, leaving behind the two siblings dumbfounded.
