Car Smashing Contest

The next day after having lunch at Chun Li's apartment Ryu and Chun Li met at the site of their next challenge. The cars they would be smashing would be two Toyota Lexus LS 400's. They went to the spot they always went to by the water. The same boat it seemed was always out there when ever they went. It had an American flag waving from a flag pole on the deck of the boat. When they got there Sakura was already there finishing up smashing a Toyota Lexus LS 400 of her own. She did some Floral Kicks, Furiko Uppers a Sakura Otoshi and finished it off a Shinku Hadoekn to turn the car into scrap metal. Ryu was surprised that her Shinku Hadoken had gotten significantly stronger since the last time he saw it. Sakura was complete engrossed in her training and didn't notice Chun Li and Ryu come into the boat dock and parking lot. After she finished she looked behind her and was surprised to see Chun Li and Ryu applauding her performance.

"Nice Job!" Chun Li exclaimed with a cheer. "Way to go. Loved the Shiunku Hadoken looks like it got much stronger since the last time I saw it!. Ryu beamed. Sakura blushed a little as she heard Ryu's compliment. "Thanks guys. I still have a long a way to get close to your Shinku Hadoken". Sakura replied with a smile. Sakura was wearing her college uniform from Street Fighter 5. A short skirted sailor uniform with a popped color and red short shorts underneath. She was sporting red Converse like shoes, a midriff baring red top under her uniform, red sparring gloves a yellow neckerchief and finally her usual white head band given to her by Ryu after the events of Street Fighter Alpha 2.

Sakura was surprised to Ryu and Chun Li each each wearing their usual uniforms but wearing black instead. "Did you two color coordinate before you came over?" Sakura half joked with a chuckle. Sakura smiled as she thought how nice Ryu looked in black. She thought it felt weird and delightful to see him in something other than usual white gi. "Maybe" Ryu and Chun jokingly replied in unison. Sakura thought the answer to this question was most likely a yes. "Are you guys having a little competition or training here?" Sakura questioned them as her eyebrows perked with interest. "Yes it's part of a competition" Ryu answered with a sly smile as Chun Li nodded in agreement. Just as I surmised. My money is on Ryu the cherry blossom thought to herself. She then looked at her watch and frowned as the saw the time was now 2pm. "I'd love to see who wins this but I've got to go. I've got a class tonight and I need to study for a test". Sakura groaned with a small frown and a hint of sadness.

"Good luck on the test" Ryu and Chun Li each responded with. "Catch you later" Ryu exclaimed. "Bye Sakura!" Chun Li said with a wave as Sakura walked away and waved good bye. As Sakura walked away she stole a quick glance of Ryu's profile one last time. "Damn he looks really good in black". she whispered quietly to herself. I hope he wears it again soon she mused to herself.

Ryu and Chun Li each stood next to their respective Toyota Lexus LS 400's. Ryu's was red while Chun Li's was black. "So how exactly is this going to work?" Ryu queried. "60 second time limit to destroy the car. First person to destroy their car wins. And if somehow no one destroys a car who ever has the more damaged car is the winner" Chun Li imparted. "60 seconds is more than enough time. I usually do it within 40 seconds." Ryu boasted confidently as he begin stretching to warm up. "How about a 3 minute warm up" Ryu suggested as he stretched out his arms. The two went by a near by wall to warm up. Chun Li nodded in confirmation.

Chun Li sets a three minute timer on her phone and then begins by stretching her arms and then Chun Li did a whole leg stretch routine. Forward and backwards kicks with one hand against the wall and the other out next to her. She then took turns bring each leg as far back she go could go before bringing it back up. When she brought her leg back up her leg practically if not literally met her face. She then stood with her feet shoulder with apart and reached up and down to the ground and stretched out her hamstrings.

Meanwhile as Chun Li did this Ryu quickly stretched both arms and then did a variation of a couch stretch. He used the wall and put his knee all the way up against the bottom of the wall and brought his left leg up and stayed in the low position. With his right hand on the ground he moved his butt back towards his heel and pressed his hips down to the ground so his quad hip flexer gets a big stretch press to his hips down to the ground. This squeezed his butt muscle. He did this 12 times. Each time he squeezed a little harder and got his hip towards the ground a bit more each time. He felt a big stretch in his hip. He held the last one for five seconds. Both Ryu and Chun Li were very focused on their own workouts and paid little attention to the other. They both knew the most important thing right now was the contest and they couldn't be deterred and lose focus and take too much time on watching one another.

"Times up!" Chun Li said as the timer went off. The pair then went to the their respective cars. Ryu to his red car and Chun Li to her black. "Ok so I will start the timer on my phone for 60 seconds and then we begin" she declared. "Got it" Ryu nodded in accordance. Chun Li started the timer on her phone and the competition began. Chun Li started off with Renkiko, Senenshu before doing Yokusenkyaku and finished her set with her Spinning Bird Kick. Ryu meanwhile did Denji Renki, Minds Eye, three Axe kicks before finishing his own set with a Shoryuken. Both of their specials both did great damage to their respective cars. About twenty five seconds remained and it was fairly close but Ryu was ahead slightly. "Are you going unleash Satusi no Hado and become Evil Ryu to win this?" Chun Li queried. "Don't needed to and I sealed it away with the power of nothingness remember". Ryu professed. "Oh yeah" Chun Li replied. She was slightly surprised at herself for forgetting this.

Chun Li did her Souseikyaku, Yosokyaku, Kakurakukyaku and finished with a great version of her special move Kikosho. Ryu meanwhile did Jodan Nirengeki, Jordan Sanrengeki, Thrust Strike before finishing with his special move Shinku Hadoken. What a magnificent Shinku Hadoken it was.

In the end Ryu obliterated his car into almost nothing with about 4 seconds to spare. Chun Li had leveled her car to rubble but it was too late and Ryu's damage dealt to his car was significantly greater. "That's game" Ryu Cheered with glee. "You win" good match Chun Li replied with a bow. Ryu bowed back in response. "That was one hell of a Shinku Hadoken!" Chun Li exclaimed. "Your Kikosho was great too". Ryu responded. "Yes but it was no much for your special" Chun Li said with a small sigh.

A few hours later they were at Chun Li's apartment they both had taken showers to decompress and were now dressed in their usual attire. They had the bowl of papers in front of them on the table and were ready to decide what the next challenge would be. "So we're now tied at 1-1 and as the winner it's your turn to pick the next challenge Ryu. So make it a good one" Chun Li soothed while handing Ryu the blindfold. Ryu responded with no words but gave a thumbs up and a sly grin as he took the blind fold and put it on. He mixed the papers around in the bowl for about 12 seconds hoping to get another challenge directly related to fighting.

Ryu took a paper out and took off the blind fold. He opened up the pice of paper and looked at it. He looked confused and a little surprised as he read it. It was in Chun Li's handwriting. It was a challenge that he had not expected her to come up with. "What's wrong?" Chun li pondered. "This one is definitely different. Strip poker. You came up with this Chun Li"?" Ryu inspected. "There's strategy involved it's indirectly related to fighting. Reading your opponents poker face and knowing when they're bluffing. Knowin' what to throw away and knowin' what to keep. Know when to walk away and know when to run". Chun Li proclaimed with a smile. "Ok Kenny Rogers" Ryu said with a chuckle. "But why strip poker?" Ryu quizzed. "It's more fun and we're a couple it can be romantic. We should do fun and romantic things together". Chun Li replied with a flirting smile and a wink. "All right I'm game" Ryu remarked with a grin.
