As captain of the Jura Pirates, it was his duty to see his crew in tip-top shape whether it be physically or mentally
in this case, it was the latter
Rimuru's golden eyes shone with amusement as he watched Hakryuu beat the hell out of Gobta, Youm, Veldora, and Ramiris in go fish. How the old man was able to win 10 games in a row was beyond the silver blue-haired captain
though he rather not question it. After all, the old man was a complete mystery that he dare not solve.
He chucked again as Gobta yelled something about "An old man cheating and saying its training is still cheating!" before getting whacked in the head. Shuna, who was standing right next to him smiled softly. "It's been a while since they got to have fun like this." she said, pouring him another round of rum.
"Aye, it's good for them, especially after all that's happened," Rimuru replied, gulping down the drink. He honestly couldn't blame them. Things have been far too mundane lately, and while he often complained about things being too chaotic, he did enjoy the thrill and adventure it brought him, but now that the battle with the Farmus Pirates where over, there was nothing exciting to do...
And he didn't really want to raid this city like Ramiris or Veldora had suggested-Idiots forgot that they had a nonaggression pact with this place- it would cause too many headaches for him and he didn't want that, so now he sat here in the most infamous bar of the 17 seas drinking rum and making sure his crew didn't go overboard.
"EH!? BUT MASTER THAT ONE IS MINE!" a high-pitched voice shrieked before Veldora's laugh followed it. "KUAHAHAHAHA Sorry Ramiris but you lost!"
CRASH!
At least that was the plan... 'oh no... what trouble did those two get themselves into now?' Rimuru thought wryly. Putting down his tankard, he glanced over to the group.
However, before he could, a table was thrown his way. "BAR FIGHT!" Someone - probably Veldora- Yelled. and before anyone could blink the whole tavern was in a bar fight. "What the hell!?" Rimuru was the only thing he could ask, as another table, mugs and a few plates were aimed at him.
Just barely dodging, Rimuru looked at the culprits and narrowed his eyes. 'Is that how they wanna play?' he snickered darkly before grabbing a nearby table.
"You're so on!" "Bring it Rimuru~Sama!" "W-wait! Old Man!? swords aren't allowe- GAH?!" "Who ya calling old?!" "Oh Hell yeah!" "WAIT NO I WASN'T READY!"
'Well, at least it isn't boring' Rimuru thought, grinning as he threw a pie at Veldora, who looked betrayed.
Yeah, he could get used to this.
