{Subject: The True Dragon having a tea party and judging whether or not to see Rimuru as a sibling}
Silence filled the air, thicker than a storm-tempest wolf's fur. The only thing that could be heard was the more or else loud curious chatter outside the building they were presently in.
It couldn't be helped, after all.
When does one usually see four true dragons all together in one spot, having tea?
Rarely, fortunately.
Rimuru smiled anxiously at his 'guests' as he took another sip of tea. 'How did this happen?!' was the biggest question on his mind. Veldora he could understand barging into his office unannounced, but Velzard and Velgrynd?! That was another story...
He couldn't understand why all three of them were here... much less with Veldora not trying to run away again, said storm dragon was now showing the other two manga. It puzzled Rimuru enormously. He didn't offend them, did he? He was sure he cleared up the misunderstanding with Velgrynd... so why were they-
Velzard cleared her throat, snapping the slime away from his thoughts with an amused look before speaking. For someone so cautious, he sure gets lost in his thoughts. "Rimuru Tempest, enlighten me, will you? Is what Veldora said true? You were once human? Before reincarnating into a slime?" her blue eyes glowing with curiosity, awaiting the answer.
Veldora briefly, in his own fashion, had told her and Velgrynd a bit of his and Rimuru's life when he was within Rimuru's 'stomach'. It intrigued her. A slime merely two years old accomplished so much in so little time. No wonder her partner was curious about him.
Rimuru blinked, surprised by the question. When did Veldora say this? "Yeah, it's true. I was stabbed to death," he said casually, taking another sip of tea. How many times has he repeated this story? It's got to be over a hundred by now...
{Answer: Actually, Master is exaggerating and has told the story about-}
Hmm, the tea is getting low. Maybe he should call Shuna to refill it.
{...}
Velgrynd nodded, her twin hair buns bouncing at the movement, her golden eyes never moving from Rimuru. He was a funny one that was for certain, always seemly talking to that skill of his even when around others. It was a fascinating sight to witness, though he hid it well. Most wouldn't be able to see, but anyone observant enough could tell he was talking to another. Velgrynd wondered if his subordinates knew of this before clearing the thought away. Of course, they noticed, they were always so keenly perceptive of their master -from the short time she's seen- and most likely had already known for a long time now.
She smiled slightly. It was rare to have such loyal and loving subordinates, even more so with having a city full of them. "I see, it must have been difficult to adjust for you?" she stated more than asked, she could only imagine how it must have felt to die and then be reincarnated into another world as a different species and then meet Veldora shortly after... she pitted anyone that met her overly rumbustious little brother as their first speaking companion.
Veldora laughed, "Of course not! My buddy Rimuru fitted in well, Kahahaha!"
"Not instantly, You Baka!"
"No?"
"No, I didn't."
"Nani?!"
As the two bickered, the two older dragons laughed at the sight before glancing at each other. Both were of the same opinion. There was no need to judge, after all.
Rimuru was already their new sibling when he first reincarnated.
And they wouldn't have had it any other way.
