Welcome to RWBY: Son of the stripped cross. I own neither RWBY nor My hero academia. But I do own the original character. And if someone else made someone like this well I'm sorry I didn't know. Go check out the fairy of pride on Wattpad for my account. A vote will be available now on my account for certain things.

"Your mother is dead,"
The word's cut him deep. Like a knife through ice cream.
"You're lying! My mother is the No.1 hero! Mum can't be dead!" I screamed.
"Hey! What the hell!" Another officer ran over and smacked the other over the head.
"What was that for?" The man whined.
"You can't just tell a 9-year-old kid that his only parent is dead! Ya fucking idiot!" The cop scolded.
"She can't be dead, It's impossible!" I screamed tears running down my face freely. After a stern look from the second cop, he sat down before the child. Looking into the already red eyes. They were fascinating. The left was blue just like his mother's, But his right was silver. According to Star and stripes, it was just like his father.
"I'm sorry Max but Star and stripes– Cathleen died fighting the villains in japan. She died a hero," The cop tried to comfort. But his words didn't reach Max. Suddenly the ground began to shake.
"Earthquake!" A cop yelled.
But it wasn't an earthquake. It was something much worse. The second cop reached down to pick up Max and take him to safety when he looked outside. The water wasn't shaking. There was no panic.
"It's not an earthquake. It's someone's quirk" He realized.
"Mum can't be gone," Max whispered. The officers slowly looked at him as he started to rise into the air and glow.
"Calm down Max!" The cop shouted over the sound of screams from above and below the apartment.
"What's going on Leo?!" Another cop shrieked.
"Max's Quirk awakened! And it's reacting to his emotional state!" The cop yelled now known as Leo.
"Give me back my MUM!" Max yelled. Energy struck the ground around him turning wherever it struck into photos of Cathleen. Some were happy but most were of the ways way's she could have died. Stabbed through the heart, Beheaded, Chocking on a chorizo, Crushed. Seriously how did he know this many ways of dying?
Another Cop raised his gun and fired at Max. All for one had ordered him to eliminate the kid before he became a problem. After all, the last thing he wanted was another star and stripe removing his quirks as well.
"NO!" Leo yelled as the bullet pierced Max's chest. The effects of Max's quirk disappeared and he fell to the ground.
"You FUCKING DICKHEAD!" Leo yelled at the Cop with the gun. Then ran over to Max avoiding the cronk's in the floor.
"Max, Max! Stay with me kid!" Leo stammered.
"It's dark, Where's Mum? Dad? I wanted to see you at least once" Max whispered. And Leo didn't notice it but the world darkened as Max's breath's where coming out more and more slowly. Then suddenly Max's body vanished leaving… Kelp? Where he was.
"Where'd he go?" Leo wondered.
(Elsewhere)
A drunken woman looked out of the window of her car. When suddenly she noticed something out there in the snow. And rushing out of her car in a drunken state she felt compelled to follow. Soon she found a child with blood coming out of his side. The servant rushed over and panted beside's the woman. He noticed after looking up that his master was listening to something. But he didn't see anyone.
"Miss? What happened?" He asked.
"I'm taking this child. We will raise him as our own. He is more important than I know. He know's nothing of this world. Teach him," His master muttered. The servant looked worried into her eyes. They glowed a bright brilliant red. And he didn't see himself in their reflection. But someone else.
(Eight year's later)
I yawned and leaned back on the couch. When suddenly someone stepped in front of the sun. I groaned and opened my eyes to see a servant standing there. Looking quite irritated.
"Your father demand's your presence" The servant insisted. I rolled my eyes.
"He's not my dad," I muttered. But giving in since the servant had been doing this for the last two hour I stood up and walked out. As I walked down the stair I saw Weiss walking up the stairs. She had some blood on her face but no emotions came from it.
"Hey, sis! How'd it go? You getting into beacon or not?" I grinned.
Weiss looked at me with a flat look.
"Yes," She confirmed. I smiled and gave her two thumbs up. But she didn't return them instead continuing to walk away.
I sighed and opened the door to the arena that Weiss had just fought in.
"Blanc you wanted to go to beacon," Jacques schnee stated.
I growled for a second before nodding. Beacon was the only school I could go to be normal. Or at least as normal as an adopted son of the most richest man in remnant.
"You may go," He stated.
"What? But Weiss got to go! Why can't I?" I gasped as I realized what he said. "Oh. Sorry," I grinned sheepishly.
"Go pack," He ordered. I nodded a big smile on my face as I went to rush off. However, Jacque stopped me.
"Before you leave. There is the matter of your aura," He said. I hesitated. I didn't have Aura yet. Jacque had tried to awaken my aura multiple times not wanting to be embarrassed by an aura-less child. But I had refused at every turn. I had some secrets I didn't want them to figure out.
"It's a must isn't it?" I groaned turning around. Jacque nodded.
"Well, at least can I choose who unlocks it? Please?" I begged. He didn't look moved so I sighed "Father? I request that I choose who unlocks my aura," I said in my best monotone voice. He nodded. "Thank you… Father" I sighed rushing off.
This was the first time that I ever thanked him. And I hoped it was not the last, But I also did hope it was the last.
(Time skip)
"Your remaining luggage has been sent to Beacon" The servant informed.
"Thanks. I'd better go," Weiss thanked.
"Why don't you wait a little longer?" The servant asked.
"Winter was too busy to come. Father and Whitley couldn't be bothered to see me off. And Blanc is coming with me. Isn't that right?" Weiss asked.
"But I'm happy you came, Klein. Please be well," Weiss said.
"You too mistress. Please take care of yourself. I am certain you will become a fine huntress and will carry on the legacy of master Nicholas, As a descendant of the great schnee family. I believe in you," Klein's word's brought forth a rare smile from Weiss.
"Come on Weiss! Let's go!" I yelled. Weiss sighed as Klein smiled.
"And I wish you the best of luck as well Blanc," Klein called.
"See ya, Klein!" Blanc called waving frantically as the car left.
(Blanc's pov)
Blanc watched as Weiss sat down before him.
"What of your aura?" She asked eyebrow up. I smiled. Lifting a glass from the cupholder beside me I threw it up. Weiss panicked for a second at the sudden movement but it never landed on the ground. She looked up and her eye's widened.
"To unlock your semblance so fast is incredible," Weiss muttered waving me off.
"Well yeah. I mean I am pretty brilliant if I do say so myself!" I grinned. Weiss rolled her eyes. I chuckled running my hand through my gold and silver hair. Finding a bug and after a slight bit of amusement, I threw it outside. We sat in comfortable silence for a bit before I got bored. ADHD and all.
"So… Got any boy's you interested in?" I raised an eyebrow. Weiss who had been snacking on a bit of chocolate gracefully choked in shock.
"What?" She gasped after she recovered.
"Are you interested in any boys?" I pressed cheekily.
"Of course not," Weiss huffed.
"So your more interested in girl's huh?" I hummed to myself. Only for Weiss to hit me solidly on the head with a book. More accurately the history of the Grimm. Which was the biggest book she owned at 20,000 words. So Yeah it freaking hurt.
"Of course not you bafoon!" Weiss growled. A little light returned to her eyes.
"Ha! There she is!" I smiled. Weiss blinked for a second before returning in composure her eyes becoming dull once more.
"Don't do that," She commanded.
I huffed. Then whispered under my breath "Where's the fun in that?" Eventually, though we arrived at the train station. Both me and Weiss walked out and toward our future.
My stomach rumbled as soon as we entered the station though. I groaned and grabbed a bar out of my pocket.
"Aww come on. Not almond again," I groaned. Why couldn't it be something like strawberry? Or apple? Or- As the thoughts came to mind I could see the bar changing flavors. And Blanc schnee vanished replaced by someone else.
"Shit!" I cursed. I closed my fist and when I opened it was back to normal. I sighed with relief before looking around urgently. I couldn't let anyone know about that power. And on a whim, Blanc schnee returned. He blinked for a second moping about the almond bar. With our luggage, we both walked toward the train.
"Phew… I made it in time." Weiss sighed.
"Well duh," I rolled my eyes. Then looking at Weiss I got a little worried "Do ya think that's gonna scar?" I asked.
"No," Weiss answered simply.
"Let's go little sis!" I grinned pumping my hand into the air. Weiss rolled her eyes but slowly allowed a smile to trickle through.
(Timeskip)
"Today is the day when a fresh crop of new students arrives at beacon academy. Let's all hope they become excellent huntsmen who can protect the peace for our people. Now for our next story," The new's woman said.
"After the entrance ceremony, students will be split into teams. It'll be crucial to get into the right team." Weiss noted.
"Outta my way!" A ginger-haired girl pushed past Weiss and to another girl.
"Aww don't worry Weiss I'm sure we'll be fine. Besides we've alway's got each other," I grinned. Weiss groaned.
"I've never been anywhere this noisy!" Weiss noted. "Except for your room during the weekend," She teased me. I fainted in shock but was glad to see her opening up. Then we saw another girl who was red-haired. None other than the champion Pyrrha Nikos! With a smile I walked over and waved. Weiss didn't notice me until i was already over there.
"Hey there! You're Pyrrha Nikos right? That undefeatable champion?" I smiled. Pyrrha sighed for a second before looking at me.
"What is it?" She asked.
"Oh nothing. I just wanted to say your cereal suck's." I smiled. Weiss chocked and rushed over grapping my by the collar and pulling me back. But to no avail. "Well see ya!" I waved walking back.
But out of the corner of my eye, I noticed a yellow-haired girl and a red/black-haired one, going and talking to a black-haired chick reading a book.
"I wonder who they are?" I mused to myself. But then the news reporter started talking about the schnee company. I groaned when it started. I had come to school to get away from my corrupt adoptive father.
"The schnee dust company is really well known, huh?" The black/red-haired girl asked the older yellow-haired one. "Rumor has it that they're the most corrupt in the world." She finished.
"And they treat their workers like slaves." The yellow one added.
"What did you just say?" Weiss asked. I stammered looking back to where she had been five seconds ago. "What do you two think you know?"
"Flipping camel shit," I cursed rushing over.
"Who are you supposed to be?" The yellow one wondered.
"I'm Weiss schnee, the company's heiress." Weiss introduced herself.
"Seriously?" The yellow-haired one gasped.
"Um, We didn't mean to say anything bad about you!" The red-haired one waved her hands meekly. " We've just heard those rumors…" She trailed off.
"Rumors?" Weiss stepped forward. "You're swallowing every lie the anti-human Faunus and their lowlife group of thieves, the White fang, are feeding you." She continued.
"Come on now, take it easy." The yellow one said.
"The White Fang used to be a pacifist group. At least until your company started exploiting the powerless." The black one reading a book said.
"Are you on the Faunus' side?" Weiss asked.
"You're totally ignorant if you think every Faunus is evil." The black-haired one shot back.
"Hey hold up!" I interrupted. The girls looked at me and finally acknowledged my presence. "Finally you guy's noticed me! I was beginning to get self-conscious. Let's just halt this conversation for a minute." I sighed.
"Yeah let's all just start over, We're all Beacon students, so let's try to get along." The yellow one agreed.
"Well said, Sis!" The black/red girl smiled.
"Hi Blake, Weiss. My name is Ruby" Ruby grinned "Wanna go shopping? We could look for school supplies." She suggested.
"Yeah!" Weiss agreed. "Wanna, Like, get all dressed up, and go shopping and talk about cute boys?" Weiss suggested. I stared at her for a second unsure if she was really getting into it.
"Don't need to, We've got one right here," I took a mock bow. Ruby giggled for a second over how ridiculous I looked.
"You've got to be kidding me! Please don't speak to me ever again." Weiss started to walk away. As did the black-haired chick. Most likely Blake.
"Well that fell apart real freaking fast," I muttered under my breath. I walked over to ruby and smiled. "Hi there. Ruby and uh…?" I trailed off.
"Name's Yang," Yang grinned pointing to herself.
"Ah. Okay, ruby and yang my name is Blanc schnee," I grinned.
"You're a schnee? But you don't look anything like Ice princess over there or act like either," Yang pointed behind me.
"Well, Sorry for my sister's attitude. I've been trying to wear her down for the past few years," I apologized. "And as for your question (Don't tell anyone) but I'm adopted," I revealed.
"What happened to your parents?" Ruby gasped.
A dark look came over my face as I remembered what happened. "My mother was killed by a monster. And I never knew my father." I uttered.
"Sorry for your loss. We lost our mother as well," Yang sighed.
"Nah, It's fine. It was gonna happen eventually," I waved her off. "I hope you can help me break through my sister's walls. I think It's gonna take a team effort. And by then we will hopefully all be friends!" I smiled. Then started walking off toward Weiss. "See ya later!" I smiled.
"Wait!" Ruby ran over. I stopped and looked down confused. "Do you wanna be friends?" She asked.
"Sure!" I nodded. Ruby cheered but right before she could speak again I stopped her. "But I'm not gonna go shopping with you lot. I value my feet," I winked. Ruby blushed and A dude beside me laughed.
Right when I rejoined Weiss two hologram's appeared. One was a woman with a purple cape and blonde hair. The other was a man in around his 70-80's in a suit and a walking stick.
"Welcome to Beacon. I'm Glynda Goodwitch, one of your instructors." The one on the right said. "Professor Ozpin has something to say to you."
"You have all trained to become warriors. Today the true worth of your training will be evaluated in the Emerald forest test." Ozpin said.
"A test? Already?" Ruby gasped.
"Dad told us, remember?" Yang reminded.
I shrugged. I had already known that there was a test. But I didn't want spoilers myself. Suddenly the floor lighted up as a map appeared.
"Make your way to the old temple and eliminate any Grimm that get in your way. If you don't, your life is forfeit" Ozpin explained. My eye twitched when they mentioned the Grimm. Dammit! Why didn't anyone tell me about this?
"In the forest, partner with the first person you make eye contact with. Two pairs will combine to form a four-person team. However, due to more students, there will be one team of five." Glynda elaborated.
"These will be your teammates for your four years of study. Hopefully, you can get along together." Ozpin continued.
"Partners? Teams?" I grinned. I knew that I was the one out-of-order student. Most likely Ozpin was afraid to anger my dad(Even though it wouldn't even make him lose a single brain cell).
"The temple contains several relics. Choose one and bring it back to Beacon Cliff. We will monitor you, but will not intervene. You must make it through on your own." Ozpin informed.
"We will arrive at the test starting point shortly. Please prepare yourselves before then. May you be victorious." Glynda finished. I sat down and started to wait for the test to start. And started to meditate. And suddenly Blanc schnee was replaced by another.
I reached inside me and closed on the power that was meant to be secret. And I placed a seal upon it. It would only last until the end of the test. But I couldn't risk it getting lose and causing mayhem. But Blanc schnee couldn't know why. This would be one of the last things he did before Blanc went to school. Before others might start to notice when Blanc was out of character. And when the power was sealed Blanc schnee opened his eyes.
And finally after a while of meditating the transport lowered and opened up to our test site. And standing in front of us were Ozpin and Glynda.
"We will now begin the initiation," Ozpin said. "Take your positions" He ordered. I looked up and saw my name on one of the poles. Shrugging I walked over. There were about 11 in all.
"Well then everyone, have a safe landing," Glynda said.
"What? We're going on this?" Ruby muttered. I looked to my left at her.
"Nice! Isn't this fun?" Yang asked with a small jump.
"Just don't land on your Rump!" I grinned. Then one by one we were blasted into the air.
"TO INFINITY AND BEYOND!" I screamed.
(Timeskip)
I was humming through the woods. I had yet to find anyone and that worried me. But not finding any Grimm? Well, that was a positive.
Suddenly I came to a clearing and saw Blake and Yang talking to one another in a ruin. That must be where those relics are. Well getting on Yang's team is better than none. Though I would love to know where- My thought train ended when I heard a roar.
"Ruby!" Yang yelled. Blake gasped and pulled out her weapon taking fire in the direction they were looking at. I ran over and my jaw dropped.
"That's huge!" I exclaimed.
"Ruby, I'm so glad you're okay!" Yang yelled.
Weiss turned around ready to defend when I walked up beside her. "So Sis, Where'd he come from?" I asked.
"Shut up!" She growled at me after shouting at ruby just to pick a piece. She summoned a glyph to block the attack of the Giant Grimm bird. Weiss jumped back as I walked backward. Soon even Pyrrha and another dude appeared and claimed their own piece.
"The test is to bring back a relic, not to defeat those things." Blake reminded everyone.
"Are you just gonna run?" Yang gasped.
"I'm all for that!" The blonde boy agreed.
"But the professor said we'd have to kill the Grimm!" Ruby protested.
"We have to go now!" Weiss commanded ruby grabbing her hand.
"Yeah! A dead student is worse than ignoring one Grimm!" I noted. Then together we began to run away. And the damn Grimm didn't let up the entire time. After a while, it fired another volley of feathers at us.
"Well, That's great!" Yang observed. Then we started running again. I was really getting tired of running. But eventually, we arrived at a bridge. I tripped for a second but kept running. Only for the damn bird to destroy the Bridge. Luckily the girls managed to escape unscathed but we were now separated by a void.
"Sparks!" I growled. But Weiss saw me and created a pathway with her semblance to allow me across. I grinned "Thanks Sis!".
"Hey, where's your weapon?" Yang shouted.
"Not yet!" I shouted back. I needed to wait to bring out my weapon.
"We need to predict its movements!" Weiss instructed.
"Weiss help me!" Ruby asked.
Suddenly a giant second Grimm appeared. It was the same size as the first and looked like some sort or partner. Or maybe rival?
"I'll handle that one! You guys handle the other one!" I called.
"What! You freaking idiot! You can't!" Yang yelled. Ruby said something but I didn't hear her as I rushed closer and closer to the second Grimm.
"All right now!" I screamed. I pulled my weapon out and ignited it. Its blue glow surrounded my blade.
Reaching out with one hand I activated my semblance. "Statis!" I yelled. The Grimm looked in place as I landed blow after blow on the frozen Grimm in a flurry rush.
"What kind of Semblance is that!" Yang yelled.
The Grimm started to flash red and I lifted my sword high up in the air. Weiss summoned a Glyph under my feet.
"Overclock Buster!" I yelled. I brought my sword down and the Grimm was free. For a second it stood there when suddenly all the blow's I had used and my Overclock buster caught up to it and it blew apart.
"HA Yeah!" I yelled as I saw that the other Grimm was also dead.
(Timeskip)
"Jaune Arc, Pyrrha Nikos, Lie Ren, and Nora Valkyrie, The four of you retrieved the white rook. From this day forward, you are team JNPR… Led by Jaune Arc." Ozpin announced.
"Nice!" I grinned.
"Finally, Ruby Rose, Weiss schnee, Blanc schnee, Blake Belladonna, And Yang Xiao Long. The five of you retrieved the white knight. From this day forward, you are team RWBBY. Led by Ruby rose." Ozpin said.
"Huh?" Ruby muttered.
"You did it! You're amazing, Ruby!" Yang congratulated hugging her sister.
"Well, As long as she doesn't order me to go shopping I'm fine," I shrugged.
As we walked out of the ceremony Ruby found me.
"Blanc! What's your weapon? How'd you do that? Whydontyouhavealongrangedweapon?" Ruby said faster than she could breathe.
"Well uh. Well, I call it the veiled sword! And it was thanks to my Semblance stasis. And I don't have a ranged weapon because of my sword's design." I answered.
"What's Stasis?" Yang asked walking over.
"I can freeze any object or creature in place for a period of time-That is depending on my aura levels- and any blow's I strike it with whilst it's frozen all come hammering down when it's freed," I answered.
"Why didn't you summon it earlier?" Ruby asked.
"It's because his sword isn't just any sword," Weiss answered walking over. "It's the height of machinery. Its energy blade is created by Aura meaning it can cut straight through any other kind of aura. It runs solely on Aura," She continued.
"It's powered by aura! Howisthatpossible? Caniseeit! Pleaseletmeseeit!" Ruby squealed.
"Alright fine! But be careful with it," I groaned. I reached my hand out and it suddenly appeared in my hand.
"WHAT!" Yang shouted jumping back.
"What? Oh," I realized "It just can do this. Don't know how or why. But hey at least it means I can lose it," I shrugged handing it over to Ruby. Ruby immediately started to play around with it. She checked out its weird circle in the center. And the entire red blade.
"How'd you get this?" She muttered.
"Well, I-" I started.
"He stole it from father. Unfortunately, no one else can summon it so it's stuck with him," Weiss interrupted.
"Weiss!" I whined.
"Ha!" Yang laughed.
I rolled my eyes. And then felt the seal break. I halted for a second in shock. It wasn't meant to break like that. It was meant to be released not broken. I looked around carefully scanning the room.
"Well, I'm gonna go explore all-right everyone?" Max bate smiled walking off and leaving my sword with Ruby. The traces of Blanc faded away as Max walked away. You see Max and Blanc were one and the same. Max had the power he kept hidden inside. Whilst Blanc knew nothing about his origin's or his own world.
I turned the corner and broke into a run feeling the energy building up. I needed to release it. I needed somewhere safe. I got faster and faster not realizing my other power was already leaking out. When suddenly I was in the middle of the forest. Surrounded by Grimm.
The Grimm snarled at me but I sighed in relief. At least my Quirk was good for this. I yelled and released my energy and it released a massive shockwave. It washed over the Grimm pulling them apart and even destroying the alpha. The ground beneath me turned into water, Then mushrooms, Then paper, Then metal, Until it settled on a weird pattern. A pattern of Chaos.
"My quirk's getting stronger. Damn it! Why can't it just go away?" Max bate muttered looking at my hand that had turned into an eagle talon forcing it to transform back. Max bate closed his eyes and snapped his finger transporting himself back. It was the only thing he could do on command. Return back to where he had come from.
(Timeskip no pov)
"Ozpin sir, It's happened again," Glynda reported. Ozpin sighed and opened his scroll looking at the site. The ground was horribly distorted and energy, unlike anything he had ever seen radiated off of it.
"Where?" Ozpin asked.
"The Emerald Forest," Glynda revealed worried.
"That close?!" Ozpin gasped. This strange event had been repeating randomly over the last eight years. Only one man had ever been present during these events. A hunter who was unfortunately in the wrong place at the wrong time. Had found his leg was turned into a chair Since his leg was the only part caught in the blast. He also reported hearing screams. Both Grimm and Human.
"Whatever this is it can't be allowed to continue, It could hurt our student's" Glynda muttered.
"What could hurt the kids?" Qrow asked. Ozpin paid no attention to the sudden appearance of his friend.
"Including team RWBBY," Ozpin said.
"Could it be the Giant?" Qrow whispered.
Ozpin's blood went cold at the mere mention of those beasts. A memory from his first life came back in a flash. A single giant. A wasteland where a city once stood. The bodies of his freinds twisted as Iron spikes grew from their very blood. Twenty Mage's as powerful as he is now standing before it. And giving up their very soul's to defeat it.
" Not only is it impossible for something like that to live. It was killed in the myths." Glynda sighed dismissing the idea.
Qrow nodded but Ozpin knew better. They hadn't killed it. Only trapped it. It still lived. A giant was the one thing he feared above all others.
"Well whether it lives or not it doesn't change the simple fact. That something or someone powerful has twisted reality in a way that only those myths were said to have been able to. So in case, we do have something similar to a giant on our hands it's best to teach the student's about them. How to defeat them (If it's possible), and the best way to survive. And if it's some other monster the same rules will apply," Ozpin decided. Qrow shrugged and Glynda looked worried.
But as another thought was brought to the front of Ozpin's mind he shivered. It wasn't impossible that Salem had somehow created or revived a Giant. Or had gained one as an ally. He didn't dare voice this thought, not before he had more proof. Best not to worry everyone until he was sure.
(No pov)
Sealing his power Max bate forced it down inside. He pictured it being contained and this time he wasn't taking any chances. He buried it deep within his mind down below the memories of his mother. And after a minute of struggling Blanc Schnee opened his eyes.
And that's the ending of the first chapter! Make sure to go check out the fairy of pride on Wattpad for my account. Go check out the last argonaut for a massively good read(Which was written by lildrummerboi). And finally, make sure to give me feedback and don't just tell me to take this stuff done. If You're gonna be toxic at least try to tell me why. And what exactly do you think the giants are? And if you're wondering Max bate created Blanc schnee as an alternative personality. Blanc schnee doesn't know about his quirk at all. And max bate has no control over his quirk. You'll get more information about it later.
