She was ready to kiss Jenny on the lips, her hands were inches from her hips, until her phone rung, killing the moment.

"Hello… yeah no… but… I… but mom…yes mom… bye mom," she hung up, That was mom. Even when she's out of town, she checks up on me. Well I better go, it's a long walk."

"Damn it, I wanted to know where this was going," Jenny thought. "Wait… walk? Why don't you just fly home?"

"Riiight… and after I fly home, I'll just wave my magic wand, and all my homework will be done," she chuckled, "that's why I like you Jenny; you're crazy, see you at school."

"Yeah… wait! What was it you wanted to tell me?"

"You really wanna know?"

"It seemed… important… yes."

Vega walked up to her, "well, you see…"

"Yeah?"

"I… I…," she paused, then pressed her lips to hers.

Jenny backed away stuttering, "V-Vega, I… y-you kissed me‽ We just… and… oh my!"

"Shit. Shit! Jenny I'm sorry, I just- I'm sorry, I thought- n-never mind, gotta go," Vega ran off.

Vega wait! I… I… damn it," Jenny sighed.

Jenny wandered around, looking for a place to sleep and recharge, she came across a bus stop with an outlet. She hoped she would be safe, that homeless people existed here as well, so it wouldn't be so odd, that she would see Vega again, and it wouldn't be odd. She thought about that turmoil of misunderstood emotions, trying to further process the information; the initial attraction, closeness, desire, holding hands, the kiss. The kiss. She liked it all, she liked the kiss overall. Her first kiss. It was all so fast, but it all made sense after the kiss. She hoped she could see Vega again. All she could dream about was Vega.

While Jenny enjoyed herself; something big was going on in Tremorton. Nora with Sheldon, Brad, and Tuck looked to the skies.

"Don't worry everybody, my Jenny will be here any minute! She'll make short work of'em… and maybe we can salvage some of their tech," Sheldon reassured.

"I hope you're right, we need Jenny more than ever- this isn't your typical invasion; it's the cluster," Nora looked worried.

They watched from her window as the many ships took formation, and suddenly in front of city hall; Krakus was deployed.

"Krakus‽ They have their whole fleet! Why is he here," Nora looked puzzled.

They watched as he sat down a small cage, and released an army of small cluster drones, one attacked a woman walking down the street, growing just big enough to ensnare her in itself.

"Go my pretties, be free," he cried.

Another wrapped itself around one man dumb enough to pick it up, one took control of a pay phone, bit another who called a pizza parlor, trying to call the police. Brit and Tiff are chased down the street pleading for the safety of their hair. Drones underground release a strong glue, trapping a few Skyway soldiers where they stood.

"They can't do this to us," Brad cried out.

"What are you doing‽ Close the window," Sheldon snatched him to the ground.

"We're gonna need more wood," Tuck attempted to board up the large windows, to their dismay.

Throughout the city there are cries for XJ-9 as the three watch on.

"This is bad, boys; hostile aliens taking over the planet, bad," Nora dropped to her knees, "excuse my language, but; where the hell is XJ-9!"

The next morning Jenny woke up in a beautiful peaceful park, fully charged, completely ignorant to the doom of her home planet, way on Cluster Prime. Happy, refreshed, and with certainty of how she feels; hopes she gets another chance with Vega. Leaving the park for school, received a fresh can of oil from a street vender, she took to skipping the way, to be caught in a transportation magnet.

"Good morning," she greeted a robot she was stuck to.

"Hey Jen… how come you're not using your super powers… and like… flying to school," Vega asked her, her voice had a melancholic tinge to it.

"With all these cool contraptions, who needs to fly- plus I damaged my lateral stabilizer."

"Uh-huh," she replied with uncertainty, "why do I like the crazy ones," she thought.

"Vega… about last night?"

"Don't worry about it… I think I glitched," she dismissed.

"No, you don't understand, just let me expl-," she started before the magnet dropped them all.

Before she could continue, Drab rushed over calling her name, before taking a serious trip and ready to crash, before she quickly rushed over and caught him.

"Are you alright, you should be careful."

"Wow you're fast, how'd you do that," he looked surprised.

"I'm no faster than you, right?"

"You're shitting me?"

"Okay, break it up with the googly eyes," Tuff split the two, holding a flyer, "you gonna help us decorate?"

"Yeah… for the trimillenial, if ya want," Vega tried to be cheerful.

"What's that?"

"Our celebration of three thousand years since the city was founded," Drab explained.

"You'll learn all about it in History 101," Shell added.

In class they're watching a P.S A. video on Jenny herself, or as they know her; XJ-9, portraying her as a giant evil robot. She tries her best to keep calm while listening to the teachers monologue over the video describing her powerful weapons system, immense strength and speed, showing her destroy a city, she hopes nobody puts two and two together.

"Well… doesn't everybody have internal weapons systems," she asked.

"That's not funny, Jenny, this is serious, she's a threat to us all," the teacher snapped.

The video goes to show how Cluster robots had the power to transform and create their own weapons with golden microchips, the teacher explaining how Jenny herself destroyed them to increase her power to attack the Cluster nation.

"That's not true," Jenny whispered.

"That's why we are at war, that's why we must follow orders, and not ask questions," the teacher continued.

"How do horrible robots like that even exist… it just… pisses me off," Vega growled.

"I don't know," Jenny sadly replied.

Back on earth, Nora and her friends are being attacked in Nora's house, as the drones try to break in; one reached in, grabbed Tuck.

"I'm sick of this," Nora shot it, "I've had enough! Desperate times call for desperate measures!"

Much to their chagrin, they thought she was undressing in front of them, she revealed she had her old Skyway Patrol uniform under her lab coat.

"Jenny is still missing, so I must assume the worst, that Vexus has her- I'm going to the ship to get her back!"

"I'm going with you," Sheldon demanded.

"No, it's too dangerous!"

"Yes!"

"No."

"Yes!"

"No."

"Yes! I'm going with you, and I won't take several 'no's' as an answer," he demanded.

"Oh alright," she hands Brad a laser rifle, "don't vaporize yourselves."

Nora pulled a secret switch, activating the code on the now visible control panel for the escape hatch, she and Sheldon quickly jumped down.

"It's up to us to save the city," Brad held up the rifle.

"Can I have that," Tuck asked.

"No."

"Yes."

"No… hell to the no!"

"Aww," he sighed.

"Where the fuck is XJ-9," Vexus surveyed the area, "It's been two days and the little bitch still hasn't shown up!"

"Isn't that why we attacked now, since she wasn't here- we knew she wasn't here," Smytus stated.

"Yes, I wanted to get the jump on her, because I knew she'd come running. How am I supposed to enjoy enslaving the earth, if that pain in my shiny metal ass doesn't get crushed by my hand in the process?"

"Vexus… come in Vexus," Krakus came on screen, "some genius humans found out how to stop my beautiful machines!"

The video feed shows people assaulting the drones with water guns, and other means of getting them wet.

"Why am I not surprised," she groaned.

"They did their job softening up the populace, now we must send in the real troops," Smytus suggested.

"No! I can't have my ensuing victory without XJ-9- she can't hide forever!"

"I can't hide forever, sooner or later they'll find out who I am. First I need to tell Vega how I feel- we're friends now, and I know she wants more, I want more, maybe when she finds out, I won't lose her… if I already haven't," Jenny thinks to herself after school.

Suddenly a truck can't stay awake, Jenny noticed he's heading right for Vega and her friends. She can't use her powers, so she quickly creates a costume and saves the three of them, while the truck slid through the intersection with locked brakes.
