He was pissed.
He shifted and observed how his sword glinted in the full moon. Sitting atop the roof of his once ancestral home, the quiet evening was all he needed after working that day. It had been a week of his body moving non-stop, decapitating the heads of those who wronged Madara. It had been a week since she kissed him.
Sasuke, the prodigy of their class. A perfectionist. The man of which every movement, every decision, every damn word uttered; was calculated.
Sasuke, who never considered himself an idiot to the sly of women, glitched and fucked up.
He only wanted to see if she was alright. He healed her knees and that's it. Why did he put her in a damn genjutsu and kiss her as a lover would?
'What the fuck was I thinking?' He sighed. 'She kissed you first, you fool.' He blinked.
He stopped cleaning his sword of Kusanagi, that's right, he thought. Hinata merely triggered something within him, somehow a man like him. Growing deprived of affection and time to act on his bodily desires. He only needed a soft touch, a promise of gaining something that only belonged to him, in this case, her first kiss. It excited him to no end. It made him feel special.
He did not own her, but a part of her was his. Somehow, the thought was exhilarating. A woman of her stature, despite not knowing her well, made his insides knot so hard he wanted to cough.
The busy week was over and so now was the only time he could process what happened. It was an idiotic impulse. Sasuke was certain, that Hinata did not do such things for anything. Surely not for affections for him. He stopped, pouted, and sighed. He's contemplating if this is the reason why he's been pissed.
That for years of rejecting women, he would eventually yearn for someone he doesn't even know. Someone who never turned his way. Someone so gentle, so opposite of him. Someone who will soon be corrupt because of the world he loathed the most.
Someone who might possibly die with a smile on her face.
