I woke up the next morning to my alarm waking me up. I quickly did my routine of showering, getting dressed, and making a coffee before leaving for work. As I walked to work I didn't know what to expect after yesterday. After my little episode with Natsu yesterday, I kept a close eye on his office and I kept my guard up the entire day as I waited for him to just pop up out of nowhere and surprise me. But that didn't happen. Instead, the only time I saw him outside his office was either to talk to Erza or one of the other girls around the office. I even told Gray and Loke about the incident to which Gray only scoffed at the mention of Natsu's name, and Loke mentioned something about him "always being compared to his father". Honestly, I didn't really understand it, but for some reason I kind of felt bad.

I walked in to the office and waved good morning to some co-workers on the way to my desk. Just as I was passing Natsu's office I could hear screaming coming from inside. I looked around the room and nobody seemed to notice the commotion going on inside. I slowly walked over to the door and tried my best to listen in, but at first I didn't hear anything. And then...

"Yes!" a girl screamed. "Yes, Natsu, yes!" the voice came again.

I jumped back away from the door. I looked around to make sure no one had seen what I was doing - thankfully no one was. My heart was beating so fast, shocked by what I had just heard, and I walked back to my desk. As I made my way to my work station, I dropped my purse down and put my head down on my arms in hopes that any look of surprise left on my face would go unnoticed. Suddenly, I heard Natsu's office door opened. Confident that I could lift my head and look around, I do so as casually as I could without looking like I was interested in what had happened.

I watched as a petite girl with the whitest hair and bluest eyes I had ever seen skip out of the office, fixing her skirt and adjusting her top as Natsu followed her out. Only he came out far enough to lean on the doorframe of his office where he casually fixed his tie and watched the girl walk away. I continued to watch as he adjusted the sleeves of his white shirt up to his elbows and readjusted his belt back into position, meanwhile his hair looking as messy as ever only added to the current allure of this man that not only made me curious about him, but made me cautious of him too.

I'm not sure how long I could've been staring at him for, because the next thing I knew, he was eyeing me with the most flirtatious look in his eye that I had never seen man capable of doing before. I found it almost impossible to look away from him, no matter how much I wanted to, because the pull in his dark eyes held mine like a powerful magnet. For all I knew, we could've been like this for hours, but I was thankful when one of my co-workers, Levy, came by, pulling me from my trance.

"Good morning, Lucy," she said cheerfully.

I snapped my head in her direction. "G-Good morning," I said back. I took a short glimpse back at the door where Natsu once stood, but it was shut and he was nowhere in sight.

"Hey, I have a question," Levy continued.

"S-Sure," I stuttered, trying to break myself of said trance.

"Are you okay?" Levy asked.

I nodded. "It's been an...eventful morning."

"Nothing horrible, I hope."

I shook my head.

"Well good," she cheered. "Because I wanted to know if you'd like to go to lunch with me today."

That came as a surprise to me, considering I had barely spoken to Levy since I started here a few days ago. However, she seemed pretty eager to go with me, and I didn't have any other lunch options with other people, so I agreed to go.

"Yay!" she clapped.

I smiled. She was so cute.

"I'll meet you downstairs by the front door," I told her.

She cheered once more before skipping back to her desk that was located only two down from me. I set about getting to work right away; there were too many distractions going on in one morning.

I put all of my work to the side before I gathered my things to meet Levy downstairs. Everyone had already left before me because I was determined to finish the one document I had started today. I don't like leaving work unfinished, even if it means I lose time out of my break. Call it whatever you will, but it's a habit of mine I have had since middle school.

I hit the elevator button and waited for it to show up. When it finally did it open I had just stepped inside when a pair of hands grabbed me around my waist and pushed me against the elevator wall. I went to scream but the person put their hand over my mouth to stop me. With everything I had I punched and kicked in the direction of my assailant, but it proved no good, as he grabbed my two hands with his other hand and pushed his waist into mine, holding me still. Then I felt a soft pair of lips touch my ear.

"Lucy," whispered a familiar voice.

Settling myself down for a moment, I realized I knew recognized the voice.

Natsu.

I fought to get my face free of his grip, but he wouldn't budge. My panic immediately turned to frustration by the audacity of this man, who just a few hours ago, slipped out of his office with a co-worker after having...never mind. And standing around while acting like nothing had happened. Does this guy really think he can get away with whatever he wanted or was did nobody care at all? Even being the son of the owner has to give him some sort of restrictions, especially when it comes to female employees, doesn't it?

When I finally got my face free, I took a few deep breaths to calm myself down. Natsu continued to hold my hands still but loosened his grip. He looked at me like he was waiting for me to make another attempt to scream, but I didn't. There was no point. The speed and strength he had obviously put me at a disadvantage.

"Are you good?" Natsu asked.

"Are you kidding me?" I snapped. "Who the hell takes a girl hostage in an elevator and asks if she's good?" I couldn't hide my anger anymore.

He frowned. "No one's taken anyone hostage."

I cast a glance at my hands that he still had bound together in his other. He followed my eyes and slowly took his hand away, finally releasing my hands. I rubbed each of them to loosen up the circulation after he kept them bound in his tight grip.

He took a step back, but not too far that he couldn't catch me if I tried to run.

"I need to talk to you, Lucy," Natsu said.

"What about?" I snapped again.

"Why are you avoiding me?" His tone was low but serious.

"Um..." I tried to find the right words to say, but I came up short. After calming down, his body heat and scent became so intoxicating that my state of mind had been completely altered like I was high.

Natsu stood in front of me, arms crossed, patiently waiting. All I wanted was to get off this elevator - even if it meant I took the stairs the rest of the way down. This man was making it way too hard to breathe and think, and I didn't wish for him to see that.

"Lucy," he said my name.

After a moment, I found myself again.

"I'm not avoiding you. I have been here the whole time, while you hide in your little office."

"I thought you would come by and visit me," he said with a cheeky grin. God, this guy has a look for everything!

"Natsu, I am way too busy with my job to come and see you in your office any time you'd like."

Natsu reached a hand out and pressed it against the wall beside my head. I watched as he leaned in close to my face, his minty breath wafting out while his scent only got stronger. How can someone be so mesmerizing? Honestly, this kind of stuff doesn't happen in real life.

"Why don't you just cum then?" he said in a lower tone, but with the seduction any woman was weak to.

My eyes widened and my knees tightened together. His dark eyes continued to bore into mine while my stomach turned with a mix of excitement and arousal. Who knew a man - especially one so despicable - could have such a reaction on someone without really trying. It's almost like his mere existence could turn you on in a flash and he knew it. He knew the effect he had on women and he knew the effect he was having on me. I was determined to hide it, but him being so close and his body being so close to mine was hard to ignore, no matter how stern I was in rejecting him.

"Cum, Lucy," he whispered in my ear.

"No," I whimpered. Damn it!

"Cum," he growled.

Just as I was about to say something, the elevator finally dinged and the doors opened where I saw Levy standing in the lobby, back to me, still waiting. Before I gave it a second thought, I rushed off the elevator and towards Levy, who greeted me before we left the building. The entire time it took me to reach the entrance of the building, I could feel Natsu's eyes boring into my back, keeping that intense feeling in my lower stomach there until I felt the intensity lift.

I was really beginning to understand the attraction the girls had, but I was also beginning to understand why it was important to stay away from Natsu.
