Dianna's diary January 2nd through March 1st

January 2nd dear diary we spent the last 6 days recovering from a very bad and scary car accident, we were on the way home from meeting dad's family when a dumb ass truck driver sorry for the language hit our car and made us spin 3 separate times and then flip completely over. We are all injured in some way Clara has major bruises and a badly cut lip which needed 12 stitches she hit her face on the back of dad's seat as we flipped. Elsie and Emily both have a broken Collarbone and massive bruises along with a pulled a neck muscle, I have whiplash a severely pulled knee Muscle and severe bruises along with a fractured rib. Ellen who was next to me has severe bruising whiplash a severely sprained shoulder and 2 broken ribs. Mom has a badly cut lip from hitting her face on the dashboard a broken wrist severe bruising and a very minor tear in her spleen which only needed watched, dad broke his foot has severe bruising and needed surgery to repair his spleen. We were allowed home 2 days later and our friends have been taking good care of us.
We found out on the 30th the man who hit us passed away at the scene apparently, he hit us for reasons I am not really understanding. From what mom has explained to me he was hurting not on the outside but on the inside which I really do not understand. We said prayers for his family he left a wife and 3 kids behind. I am signing off till the 10th at least as that's when we can leave the house again.
January 12th dear diary we are all doing a lot better, but it will be several weeks before we are completely better. My French family will arrive in the United States the 18th of this month I can not wait they are sharing a duplex with another new family the Spencer's who have 3 boys, Luke and Josh are the same age as Emily and Elsie and like them have Down syndrome, there older brother Jeremy is my age. We found out yesterday that Angelica's family along with her friend Harold's family will also be moving here. Angelica's mom has been diagnosed with something called Ms. It is a disease that affects all muscles in the body. As of right now her mom must use a walker to get around, we have a friend of dad's helping make their duplex handicap accessible.
January 19th dear diary my family arrived safely late last night, and we are going over later. We will take them Angelica Harold Andy yes Andrew is now known as Andy Harold's cousin Kyle, along with Jeremy Josh and Luke on a tour of the neighborhood. Angelica can't wait to see how its changed since she moved when we were almost 4. I will write more when we get home, later that night I got home about an hour ago and did my stretches for my knee. I can't be writing in you for long as mom needs my help preparing for a dinner party we are holding tomorrow.
January 20th dear diary today mom my French grandma auntie Hellen Marie and I cooked and cleaned the house as we had a dinner party tonight, we made pasta and several sauces including an Alfredo a meat sauce and a vegetarian sauce as Angelica's family has chosen to no longer eat meat. We also made several desserts rolls and other goodies, while we did that everyone else was doing various jobs to get the yards ready for the party. we had so much fun, but I am over stimulated and am going to sign off till the 30th as we are going to be flying to see my auntie Grace get married.
January 30th dear diary we had such and amazing time and while we were there my auntie Samantha had her first baby a girl named Daniella Grace. She is so tiny and cute, we stayed there for several days to help. I am leaving again tomorrow to help until the 15th as her husband is overseas and she doesn't have much help right now I will write then diary.
February 15th dear diary I arrived home today from helping my auntie it was so much fun. While I was there, I made a pretty big decision I will be baptized, the week I turn 11 as that week all my family will be here to help prep for moms wedding the following week. I came to this decision after thinking about it for several months. I start classes the 1st week of march along with Zack Kimi Chuckie Susie Sam and Jake the others have either already been or are not quite ready to commit their soul to God. I am exhausted so am going to sign off and get some sleep as mom said I have a bit of jet leg as I traveled all the way across the country.
February 18th dear diary I spent the last 2 days resting as I caught bronchitis while I was gone. I started antibiotics the night before last and feel so much better. I am currently resting as although I am feeling better being sick has made me struggle with my injured rib again. It is nearly healed but coughing hurts like heck, so mom has put me on sofa rest. Ellen is hanging out with me while her dad and the girls visit his aunt who's in town for a meeting. Later mom and I went and did a bit of shopping with the girls and their moms we all needed our first bras, and I needed underclothes and a few other pieces. When we arrived home dad took Ellen to urgent care, she has a bladder infection yuk poor Ellen. I am signing off as we are going to run a few more errands and have dinner with a friend of moms and mine.
February 19th dear diary today was spent shopping for mom's wedding gown and our bridesmaid dresses, she chose a very beautiful cream-colored dress with ribbon details on the sleeves neck waist and bottom hem. Our bridesmaid dresses are a very pretty light green with darker green ribbon ore lace details at the sleeve's neckline and bottom hem. For grandma we picked out a dark green mother of the brides dress she looks beautiful. Moms' favorite princess is Tiana so that's why we are al wearing green. She has 4 bridesmaids in my sisters and I, but Mrs. Lucy is the maid of honor as she has been moms' best friend since they were 14. I keep forgetting to tell you we had to move grandma to a memory care facility as she kept wandering off. She lives about 10 minutes away and loves it. I will tty tomorrow as mom asked me to watch the girls while she takes Ellen to her bowling league.
February 20th dear dairy I spent today at Urgent care with Ellen who broke and slightly dislocated her pinky toe catching it in the door this morning. She had to get a shot to reset it, and this wasn't fun for her at all, I let her hold my hand for that part and they put her in a boot and wrapped her foot. She is using moms knee walker to get around and is sleeping in the den as she can't do stairs. She is out of commission for a month at minimum. When we finally got home dad had dinner waiting, he made seafood soup and garlic bread yummy. We then left Ellen resting in the den while we went for haircuts. I better sign off we have a trip planned to Disney world for the next week to work on wedding preparations and decisions.
February 27th dear diary I forgot that I would be to busy to write until today sorry about that. We had such an amazing time seeing everything deciding things and just plain having fun. The wedding will be in the wedding pavilion and with the package they chose we got to create a custom menu. I won't get into details, but the food should be amazing. I am signing off as we must finish unpacking then repack the suitcases as we are going to meet dad's family that lives in Maine I will try and write while we are there.
March 1st we have been in Maine for the last 1.5 days it is beautiful here and the fresh seafood is an amazing treat. We have met several new people including his nieces and grandparents are raising them for a reason I can't understand. Mom just said that the parents were not very good at their job of being a mom and dad. We have had so many fun adventures. I am glad Zack's auntie is letting Ellen stay with them while we are on these trips. Her foot is slowly feeling better, but she still has another 3.5 weeks or more in the boot.
We have been out on several fishing and lobster boats its so cool to catch our own supper. Every afternoon we go berry picking and I learned that fresh berries won't hurt my mouth or moms so that's nice. We will be home in 3 days I will write then.
