Title: Domestic Bliss
Summary: Katsuki takes a drunk Tsuyu home. Just a short cute one-shot. T but with Katsuki's typical language
Disclaimer: I don't own anything
'Shit, this is useless,' cursed Bakugou Katsuki weakly and moved his arm trying to get a crack and get over the stiffness. It was no use. His body could take a hit from a villain or go through hours of fighting yet the time he needed to sit hunched over for three hours and finish his bullshit paperwork, it protested like a little bitch.
The ash-blond closed his eyes to rest them as the letters were dancing in front of them for a while now. He was tired of this. There was no other way to say it. But unfortunately, when he was a pro-hero who worked around the clock, it couldn't be helped. No matter how much, Katsuki wished he could just blow these reports up, he needed to finish them and submit them before midnight, or else the government and Endeavor would be on his ass again.
After another couple of minutes of torture in the form of his fingers moving through the keyboard, his phone buzzed next to him. Even if he was told they wouldn't send any missions his way until he would make do on his reports, he still kept on the buzzer just in case not to mention-
Deku: See, Kacchan, this is what you miss when you slack off
'Little shit,' commented the ash-blond as he opened the phone underneath the message. Without his consent, the corners of his mouth rose and allowed a small smile to grace his face as he saw the picture in front of him.
Today was their U.A class hangout. Something they did a couple of times now since graduating so he didn't feel too sorry he was missing out. There was always someone who was missing with their missions sometimes expanding beyond the country or their work schedules making it difficult to find a date that would suit most of them.
This time almost all the women showed up except for Todoroki Momo. It also seemed only Izuku, Denki and Fumikage, and Tenya were present from the male population of their class. They all were looking at whoever took the picture and smiled some more graciously than others. Obviously, all were in a good and tipsy mood.
To Deku: Enjoy a day off, Nerd. You earned it.
It was true. Bittersweet but true. Someone, who Katsuki used to think was beneath him managed to suppress him in so many things. It couldn't be helped, and even if the ash-blond made peace with it, he still felt a competitive urge every once in a way. They were friends and colleagues now, but they would always be rivals, and that was the way Katsuki liked it.
To Deku: But remember. I'm on your heels. Don't be cocky, or I will kill you!
He put the phone away and carried on for another twenty minutes until it buzzed again.
He frowned this time ready to tell Nerd not to be annoying when he noticed from who it was and sighed, 'Damn it.'
He quickly tapped a couple of final sentences, uploading the reports he had, and send Endeavor a quick message that he would finish the remaining two tomorrow morning before he was out of the building. Heroes shouldn't really use their quirks for personal reasons, but the ash-blond figured there was no harm in getting to the restaurant quicker.
'Kacchaan, you made it!' called out Izuku while the others in chorus called out as he got through the door, 'Hi, Kacchaan!'
Fuckers!
He looked around before his eyes dropped on the sea-green-haired young woman sitting at the corner of the table, and he went to sit next to her, 'You want to go?'
Tsuyu's dark eyes were never ones that give out much, but when she drank or had a lot to drink, Katsuki could see the slight blurriness behind them. There was also another time when he could see it, but that usually involved fewer clothes and less annoying ex-classmates around.
Mina showed up and wrapped her arm around his neck holding some beer, 'Ah, don't leave so early!'
'Don't be pushy,' he warned her and put her arm away knowing she wouldn't be upset before he pulled Tsuyu closer to his side to ask again. This time he did so directly against her ear, 'You want to go home?'
The woman smiled at him brightly and a bit clumsily like a drunk person before she threw her arms around his neck, 'Bakugou!'
The ash-blond sighed and closed his eyes for a second feeling somewhat happy that at least Tsuyu got to enjoy herself tonight. She worked a lot so it must have been nice for her to let loose like this.
Katsuki easily grabbed her waist and tossed her over his shoulder, 'We're going home.'
Izuku appeared waving his hands frantically, 'Wait, Kachaan, it's not the best idea to hold her like that.'
'Bakugou!' called out Tsuyu happily, but the ash-blond had to admit the other man wasn't wrong, so he fixed her into his arms instead with one hand under her bent knees and the other around her back and arms.
Her head snuggled against his chest, and she croaked before saying his name again, 'Bakugou.'
The ash-blond eyed her a bit annoyed and confused before he nodded at the others, 'Later.'
'Oh-Bakugou! You're no fun!' someone called, but he was too busy making sure he carried Tsuyu properly to reply. Who gave a shit? Everyone talked bullshit when they were drunk.
Tsuyu sighed against him and sweetly whispered, 'Bakugou.'
He glanced down at her and blinked as he carried her out of the restaurant. They didn't live that far, but it would be better to take a cab so they would avoid unwanted pictures and press. It was never good when they caught a hero doing anything they could use to give him a bad reputation, and Katsuki would destroy them if they wrote one bad word about Tsuyu. They already were on thin ice with their constant interviews about how could someone so sweet and calm like her be with such a loudmouthed and angry-
'Bakugou.'
He glanced at her wondering why was she calling him by that, 'What's up? Do you feel sick?'
'No,' she whispered and closed her eyes.
Weird.
He walked toward the nearby taxi stand thinking when she chuckled a bit and whispered again, 'Bakugou.'
'What is it?' he asked and wondered if she was pissed or something. She sounded happy, well tipsy happy. Tsuyu didn't drink often and in general, was a calm and happy person, but with alcohol, it was anyone's guess. He just found it confusing she would use his last name like that. Ever since their school days, she always called him Baku-chan this, Baku-chan that. When they became closer friends and more, she also moved to Katsu-cha, Katsuki-chan, Katsuki, but she never called him Bakugou unless she needed to use it professionally, so what the living hell was going on with his Tsuyu? Was she pissed that he was taking her home? Did she want to stay? Why would she text him to come to pick her up then? Was she pissed he didn't come? She told him it was alright that he should finish his report to have a clean slate and Tsuyu was known for her honesty. She never lied or said things she didn't mean just to save face or protect feelings. She was a good person and brutal to the bone in her bluntness. So what gave?
'Bakugou, kero,' she whispered again moving this time closer to his neck and pressing a sloppy open-mouthed kiss there. Even if Katsuki wasn't a fan of alcohol make-outs, he found that kiss and her behavior cute and hot as shit at that very moment.
Fuck, not the right time.
'Bakugou-'
'What is it, Tsu?' he asked mixing arousal with frustration from not understanding what the woman in his arms wanted from him. He saw her drunk before. He saw her drunk enough to puke before and she wasn't the type to repeat words. She was the happy drunk type who laughed and wanted to dance and do naughty things with him in semi-public places they could get caught. She wasn't the type to end up in some circle shit.
'Bakugou…
Bakugou…
Bakugou…'
'FOR THE LOVE OF-Tsu?! What is it?! What?!' demanded Katsuki losing his shit and shouting because he fucking couldn't take it anymore.
Suddenly, the woman in his arms giggled happily like a little girl against his neck. Her breath was warm and heavy, but it still got Katsuki all wired up in both frustration and arousal. He was hopeless when it came to her. Utterly hopeless.
'N-no, dummy, kero,' the dark-sea-haired woman giggled, 'I'm Bakugou…Bakugou Tsuyu,' she explained against his skin making it even hotter and wetter, 'It makes me happy….'
His red eyes widened.
'So happy, kero,' she said practically purring.
Katsuki blinked his eyes realizing what she meant and felt his lips pull into a smile on their own not even caring if the taxi drivers waiting for customers by their stand could see. Not even caring if some hidden paparazzi could see it. Because damn it felt so good to hear her say it. He instantly felt something stupid and warm settle inside his chest and just wouldn't let go. Not that he wanted it to.
Because yes, she was. He felt fucking amazing knowing she was. He felt amazing the day he asked her to marry his sorry ass and she said the most beautiful word in the Japanese language, and then the day they got married because she was so amazing and wonderful and he never thought he would be capable of loving anyone or loving them as profoundly and deeply as he did her. And just right now with her silly little giggle and a couple of words, she got all those feelings and memories to come rushing back because she was fucking amazing and she was his. She took his last name. She took the ring from him. She took him. She was his. His beautiful flawless Tsu was all his and liked it. It made her happy to be his and that just caused shivers to rush through Katsuki. Shivers of emotions, he thought he long since got used to, but no, his beautiful flawless amazing wife was making him experience them all over again, and all he could do was let her and said feelings make him feel good.
He pulled her closer and tilted his head to press a kiss against her sea-green hair that smelled like waterlilies, 'Damn right, you are, Tsu.'
Tsuyu hummed and looked up at him her usually expressional eyes still clouded from the alcohol, 'Kiss.'
Katsuki sighed and kissed her forehead immediately hearing a displeased noise from the woman. Not there then.
'No,' she said like a stubborn child, 'Kiss.'
He smirked a bit knowing she couldn't properly comprehend it and kissed her nose teasingly.
Another displeased sound, 'Not…there.'
She tried to move closer to him, but he stopped her, 'You're too drunk and we're in public.'
'Am not…kero,' she said weakly and croaked, 'that drunk.'
'Your breath sticks,' he said and cut off whatever she had to say next by talking with the taxi driver while she stubbornly whispered, 'Does not. I had cherry flavored drinks.'
Smartass
Katsuki snickered when the driver was out of earshot, 'Does too. And don't argue when you're drunk, dummy.'
He kissed her cheek when the driver was in the process of getting into the car and then purposely held her away from him so she wouldn't try anything while they had an audience. She was fairly unpredictable like this and even if Katsuki adored her and everything she did, he was not going to make out with her while she was drunk out of her mind and another man could see them.
She tried to reach him, but less aggressively than she could have, 'Please?'
'No,' he told her firmly, but quietly so the taxi driver wouldn't witness more than he already did. Katsuki was usually a sucker for her begging, she could be so adorable when she did it, but not right now.
Tsuyu gave him a look and pouted rather childishly even crossing her arms all the while she was still seated against his side.
They got home fast, and he paid the man before stepping outside and pulling Tsuyu with him. He would think, she laid it to rest, but the second they were inside their house, she hugged him pulling him toward her again, 'Kiss, please.'
'Tsu-'
'Please,' she said in a very seductive and soft voice that made him swallow and force himself to remember his rules and not cave in, 'No, you're drunk.'
'Please, just one,' she whined a bit, but not at all annoyingly. Katsuki would hate it if someone was whining, but his wife had the magical ability to make even that adorable and attractive. When did he get so weak? Probably, when she first took his hand and told him, she liked that deep down he was a good person.
She put her arms around his neck pressing into him even more and his back into the closed door, 'Just one kiss.'
This could have been a different situation if she wasn't drunk, which was a shame.
'Then bed,' he tested and watched as her lips curled into a wide smile before she spoke, 'Then another.'
'It doesn't work like that, dummy,' he said and flickered her forehead causing her to let go and covered the wounded area.
He sighed partly because he was losing the remains of his patience, 'Bed and sleep. Now!'
Tsuyu didn't say anything, but she let him lead her to the bedroom and the bed.
'Katsu-chan is a mean husband,' she whined and hugged her knees looking very fragile and sad.
He shot her a look as she sat unhappily on the bed. It was impossible to watch her like this and maybe even in her drunken haze she knew it.
'Doesn't love me at all,' she almost whimpered.
He closed his eyes and cursed his weakness for her. Of course, she would bring out the big guns. Tsuyu didn't ask for much, but when she did, she could be persuasive in her own way, and Katsuki was beyond weak in her ways.
He snatched her PJs from the closet and tossed them on the bed beside her before he took her face between his palms and kissed her.
The taste of alcohol wasn't as bad although he would definitely prefer to kiss his wife without it. The taste of Tsuyu was still delicious, so he deepened the kiss licking against her lower lip to be granted an opening and explore her mouth for a moment. It felt good, and it was a pity they wouldn't carry on, but they would have tomorrow or the day after that depending on Tsuyu's hangover. His tongue and mouth toyed with her for a bit enjoying her taste even with the alcohol until it caused the woman to moan deeply at least once before he broke it.
He looked at her as he still held her face and made sure she looked at him, 'Happy?'
Tsuyu's face lightened up, and it was a damn shame she was this drunk because Katsuki would gladly do more than just one kiss if she wasn't when she looked like this.
Damn alcohol
'I'm always happy with you, Katsu-chan,' she assured him and leaned to kiss him again. Just because of how good it felt to hear her say it, Katsuki let her enjoy it for a second too long before he broke the kiss again and kissed her forehead instead for a second.
'Now we change and go to sleep, alright?' Even if he phrased it as a question, it wasn't, and he hoped Tsuyu knew this even in her drunk state.
She did because she rose her arms above her head and chuckled, 'My husband…will have to help me.'
He rolled his eyes, but he did so anyway without a complaint. It was actually a bit fun to strip her and then get her dressed. Not as fun as it would have been to leave her without clothes, but he knew long ago he was so smitten with the woman it didn't matter what they did together, he enjoyed everything. Fucking everything. To think he once could only find thrill in fights and winning felt almost surreal at times.
Once he got her dressed, he helped her brush her teeth and take down some of her makeup before he carried her to the bed again, 'If you're sick, you wake me, understood?'
Tsuyu hummed and closed her eyes almost as if she fell asleep the second her head hit the pillow.
Katsuki watched her for a moment. Even if it was a bit of a nuisance, it still warmth his chest to see her this happy and carefree. He should work on that so they could go out together more or just figure out something for the two of them. He had a feeling she would like that.
It made him smirk already planning how he would sweep her off her feet. No one did this husband shit better than him. Fucking no one! He wouldn't let them!
When he finished with his rituals, he came to the bed and pulled Tsuyu toward his chest.
'Bakugou,' she whispered again, and he smiled into the dark enjoying the all too familiar feeling of her body against his. She fit into his arms so well. Even if he grew taller and muscley, she always did as well to make sure she fit with him perfectly. The alcohol scent was barely there so all Katsuki could smell was Tsuyu and the warm feeling her presence brought inside him just like always.
Damn, he adored her so much.
'Bakugou Tsuyu,' he said enjoying not for the first time or last how good it sounded and how well it rolled off his tongue. She was his. All his. His favorite belonging. His favorite Tsu. His. It should have been scary to want someone this much and to get them, but Katsuki refused to allow such doubts and feelings. Not when he had her in his arms like this. Not when she accepted his selfishness and displayed her own by pressing against him even more. She was his, but she demanded that he was hers too. Katsuki found great pleasure in that. He wouldn't want it any other way.
The woman giggled with a whispery voice and snuggled deeper against his chest, 'Yeah, that's me…Katsuki. That's me…,' her voice drifted as she once again fell into sleep while Katsuki brushed her hair a bit, 'Yes, that's you.'
He was a sap. He loved his wife so damn much it should be pathetic. It didn't feel that way though. Loving his wife felt good. It made him feel strong. Powerful.
He closed his eyes and whispered into the dark before falling asleep himself, 'I'm so damn glad you're my wife, Tsu-chan.'
