Chapter 1- Back From The Brink Of Death
(In Space)
As the Earth and all of the other Planets orbit the Sun, a Comet that has traversed the endless expanse of the heavens for the past nine thousand years is pulled from its orbit and down to the Earth...
This event will drastically effect the life of one whisker-cheeked blonde boy for the rest of his life.
Naruto sighed as he walked through the village under the starry night sky. He wore a look of consternation on his face as he stopped walking briefly to look up at the sky. It's at this moment that Naruto sees something streak across the sky. Despite what many people think about the young blonde, Naruto is very bright and inquisitive, so he goes to investigate.
Once he'd cleared the dense forest, Naruto came upon a large smoking crater with a large meteorite in its center and it was glowing As Naruto got closer to the crater he felt a strange warmth rising in his body, this warmth made the blonde feel stronger as he got closer to the meteorite, then quite suddenly it exploded, engulfing Naruto.
From the Hokage Tower, Sarutobi saw the explosion and summoned several ANBU and went to investigate.
(In a Clearing Just Outside of Konoha)
A thick plume of smoke billowed around the center of the crater as Neko, along with the Hokage and several other ANBU arrive at the site, they all stare in amazement at the sight that's in front of them.
"My Kami, what could've done this?" Yugao asked, then one of the Hyuuga who were with the group spotted movement within the smoke.
"Lord Hokage, there's someone in the smoke."
Suddenly a fit looking figure emerged from the smoke, Blonde, oily hair hangs over a thin, radiant face. Round azure eyes, set narrowly within their sockets, watch merrily over the folk they've been separated from for so long.
A mustache gracefully compliments his eyes and hair and leaves a compelling memory of his upbringing.
This is the face of a more mature looking Naruto. He stands tall among others, despite his big frame.
There's something captivating about him, perhaps it's his company or perhaps it's simply his good will. But nonetheless, people tend to keep their distance, while treating him to a good meal when he's around.
"N-Naruto? What happened to you? Hiruzen asks.
Naruto explained what happened with the meteorite and the explosion.
An hour later, Naruto was in the Hokage Tower, standing before the Hokage and the two Councils to talk about his new powers and abilities.
Toraku Muri, a member of the Civilian Council member decided to speak up.
"OK Demon brat, you will teach Sasuke Uchiha how to use your-." she said, but she was cut off by a thick beam of solar energy cutting cleanly through her throat.
Hiruzen and everyone were shocked, amazed, and horrified at what they had seen.
Once the excitement had died down, Tsume Inuzuka, a member of the Shinobi Council raised her hand to ask a question.
"Yes, Inuzuka-san." Naruto asked.
"Will your new powers affect your tenant?"
"I don't know as of yet, there's been no ill affects, Inuzuka-san." replied Naruto.
Tsume nods and smiles at the blonde.
Hiruzen thanks Naruto and dismisses him from the meeting.
After leaving the meeting, Naruto went to Ichiraku's for some dinner, Ayame, as always was elated to see Naruto, as was her Father, Teuchi.
Forty minutes later, Naruto opened the door to his apartment. Sighing, Naruto stripped down to his boxers and went to bed.
The next morning, Naruto gets up and gets ready for his day. Once he's dressed, the blonde heads to Training Ground 7.
Sasuke and Sakura were already at the bridge waiting for their blonde teammate, Sakura immediately shoots Naruto a nasty glare, which he surprisingly returned. Sasuke just rolled his eyes and took in Naruto's new state of dress.
Gone was the orange jumpsuit, now the blonde was sporting a new yellow This set of armor has a hood with a face guard shaped in the face of a screaming warrior. Attached to its side are two small horns which curve downwards.
The shoulders are squared, narrow and moderate in size. They're decorated with many metal spikes scattered around on each shoulder.
The upper arms are protected by rounded, layered metal rerebraces which sit perfectly under the shoulder plates. The lower arms are covered by vambraces which have a bear claw attached on the outer sides.
The breastplate is made from many circular layers of leather and fur with pointed edges and decorational pieces. It covers the entire front and back side, but the attachment straps leave the sides under the arms exposed.
The upper legs are covered by a skirt of horizontal layers of leather and fur reaching below the groin. The front is open. The lower legs are protected by leather greaves which have crafted leather leaves covering the outer sides. Thick fur pants are worn beneath this all.
"Hey, Naruto-baka, what's with the -?" Sakura was silenced by Naruto's right clutching her throat, choking her while lifting the shocked pinkette off her feet with slight effort, then Naruto looked at Sakura as his eyes began glowing yellow, as was his left hand, which was poised to strike Sakura's face.
"If you ever speak to me or attempt to cause me any further bodily harm, I will retaliate and the end results will be..." he cuts himself off for the moment before glancing at the large boulder that was just to the right of the bridge and smiling.
"Yo." kakashi said as he appears beside Sasuke.
"Hn." Sasuke said as he silently watched Naruto, hoping he could copy whatever he was about to do.
Raising his left hand, which is now in a fist, Naruto aims at the boulder without breaking eye contact with Sakura.
He fired a beam of Solar energy from his fist, the beam hit the boulder and destroyed it effortlessly in a brilliant display of light and sound.
The explosion seared the air and earth in a way that left devoid of life down to the microbes. Sasuke, Kakashi, and Sakura were astonished by what Naruto had just done. Sakura paled as she looked up into Naruto's cold, uncaring eyes. Where she'd once seen love and warmth, now she only finds malice, anger, and simmering rage.
"This is your only warning, Sakura." Naruto growled before dropping her and turning to leave the Training Ground.
"Naruto." Sakura said, an immense sadness suddenly made its presence known in Sakura's heart.
Sakura took Naruto's threat seriously and stayed far away from the blonde, even while doing missions.
A few days after that, Naruto was walking through the shopping district when he hears a familiar voice.
"Hey, give those back. You didn't pay for 'em!" cried the voice of Ino Yamanaka as she ran out of her family's flower shop, her beautiful face now marred with the evidence of a savage beating, her clothes had fared no better, as they are ruined, having been heavily stained with Ino's blood as well as dirt.
Seeing this angered Naruto, narrowing his eyes, which changed from sapphire blue to yellow, the blonde swiftly and silently casts a Genjutsu on the four guys as they were trying to leave with the stolen flowers, suddenly as the guys tried to walk away they felt uneasy on their feet and they felt queasy.
"H-hey, w-what's going on here?" one of the men asks as he begins puking violently.
"It's a Genjutsu that I created called Zandakagan, Balance Disruption. How do you like it?" Naruto asks as he walked around a corner, shocking Ino at first.
"N-Naruto."
"I suggest you Ino-chan her flowers back or face the second level of my Zandakagan wherein you'll just be trapped in a perpetual state of weightlessness for as long as I will it." Naruto said menacingly.
The foursome quickly conceded and Naruto released the Genjutsu and they returned the flowers they had stolen and ran away from Naruto as fast as they possibly could.
"Thank you, Naruto, but how did you do that? I thought that you couldn't do Genjutsu."
Naruto sighs, he hoped that he wouldn't regret this.
"Ino, I need you to keep a secret."
