"Holy crutack, there's a mall in our house, does papa know." Casey said in awe.
"Yep dad knows about this, I came here all the time when growing-up but let's go get ice-cream something dad would say all the time to me growing up including after I scrabbed him when I got my puberty-claws plus when you make pals, the mall becomes your hangout." Rocket told Casey.
It was late-night and while their dad and Aunt Jupe were asleep, Rocket had snuck out and he'd decided to show her the mall, their social kimgdom and her major hangout seeing his sister's eyes wide in awe as they headed to the ice-cream parlour sharing a sundae, hearing her asking if they had to pay seeing Rocket shaking his furry head explaining because they were royalty, they got things for free.
"Mmmmm, this is awesome and can't believe we're having ice-cream past bedtime." Casey told him noticing a magenta-furred and haired girl in pyjamas but had a lomg-cane making Casey curious wondering if she was hungry making Rocket agreeing coming over to her seeing her curious at him but smiled shyly at Casey behind her glasses.
"Are you okay, are you hungry." Rocket asked her softly.
"Uh-huh, I'm Crystal, your highnesses." she said softly to them.
"I'm Casey and that's my big bro, Rocket, you want some ice-cream." Casey said.
Crystal grinned joining them, and eating ice-cream where she was telling Casey and her brother about herself, how the High Evloutionary found her and loved she was a magical being despite being impressed them and stunned Casey that Crystal wanted to be her friend nodding sharing a sundae making Rocket grin as this was sweet.
"Way to go sweetie, papa will be so prohd of you." Rocket whispered to Casey hearing her and Crystalyawning scooping them up taking them to Casey's room seeing her cuddling her Groot stuffie feeling Rocket kiss their heads leaving them be seeing it was almost sunrise hoping the High Evloutionary or his aunt wouldn't freak out that he had Casey out pretty late but she'd made her first friend who was sleeping over.
"Rocket you alright, why so happy this early." he heard the High Evloutionary asking.
"Casey and me had some late-night fun, she made an new friend, dad." he replied.
"Ohhh that's good, I hope she'll tell me later." he said to him as he nodded drinking coffee seeing Jupe returning after being out all night being a superheroine which Casey had no clue about, unaware of what her lil cub had been up to including making her first friend in Crystal or that she and Crystal were sleeping in Casey's room right now.
"Casey's fine, she's asleep right now with her new pal, Crystal." Rocket said to his aunt making her excited.
"Okay I don't want to wake her right now, as she needs her sleep." Jupe told him relieving him.
Later that morning, both Casey and Crystal were beginning to stir, smelling brunch leaving Casey's roomentering the kitchen sitting at the table, seeing Rocket pouring juice into cups because they were too little for coffee yet unaware the High Evloutionary and Jupe were watching finding them together very sweet.
"I hope you're going to school, as Casey's a little nervous about going to school." Rocket told Crystal.
"Of course, I live on this ship too, are you coming back to live here." Crystal replied to Rocket.
"I just visit from time to time, which makes Casey happy." Rocket told her making Crystal grin.
After a while, Crystal thanked them but asked Casey if she wanted to hang lut later, seeing the female-cub nodding in reply fist-bumping her seeing her leaving yawning telling Rocket she needed more sleep going to her room getting onto her bed cuddling her stuffed Groot called Branchie which Rocket found sweet, knowing his sis was lookijg forward to hanging out with Crystal later at the mall, the magical place he'd shown her.
