"The amount of laws I've broken on this little journey is unbelievable" Nick slandered out loud about himself, exiting the passenger side of the car.

Adalind scoffed as she exited the driver's side of the car, taking a look to scan over Frau Pech's house that they just arrived at. "Which one? The fake passports, being a witness to me stealing a car or the impending breaking & entering of a dead person's house." She looked over the top of the car to look at him as he shot a look back at her. Making a face of amused un-amusement at the same time somehow.

He put his arms on top of the car so he could lean on it in her direction. "I said I would pick the lock" He droned.

She had a confident smile on her lips. "And lucky you had me because all it took was a second for me to do it"

"Not all of us have telekinesis powers"

"Which is why your lucky to have me" She had a smirk on her face filled with attitude as she started walking towards the door of the house & Nick just stood for a second to watch her for a moment. She always had a way to bring out the less stoic side of him. Usually aggravated him but he found it a little funnier now than usual for whatever reason. He just shrugged off the thought & followed suit.

He came up behind her & wondered why she was just standing in front of the door, looking around the sides & edges of it. She Woge now & began looking around even more intently. Trying not to be more uncomfortable than he already was whenever he sees that decayed version of her face. It has stopped bothering him long ago but usually, he got the feeling like trouble was on the way whenever she Woge dating back to the day he saved her life from that Mellifer. Well, it usually was trouble but still, wasn't too bad this time.

"Problem" He inquired. She didn't answer immediately until she stood back up fully, doing a little roll of her neck so Nick knows she had just Woge back to her normal face now.

"Just making sure this door or the doorway wasn't charmed"

He looked at the door and then back to her, making a face to show her he wanted her to elaborate on what she meant. "Some hexenbiest want a little extra protection when their home & Grimm's were never our biggest fans. Wasn't too high of a chance to run into one but still just in case."

He for some reason could tell she was leaving a part out. "And that's the only reason's you thought it may be charmed?" He asked suggestively. She turned back to him with a knowing eye roll.

"And because it's what I would do too" She had a sarcastic, cheeky smile.

Nick once again decided to poke fun at her a little. "Would?" He asked with knowing sarcasm again.

"Why are you asking? Planning how you are going to kill me after the flight back?" She said it simply but she was more shocked herself that she was joking about that. Well, slightly joking. She for some reason wasn't in immediate fear of her life around him as much as she use to be. Probably just because she is focused on Diana not her own life right now is what she chalked it up to in her mind.

"The days are young" He joked back. "So is it charmed or what?"

She opened the door & gave him a look to let him know its okay to walk in. "It wasn't charmed or worse"

She walked inside now but he definitely wanted to know what the 'worse' comment meant. After he walked in & closed the door he spoke. "Worse?"

She was about to turn into what looked like the kitchen before stopping & looking over her shoulder to answer him. "Cursed" She replied & continued walking. He paused for a moment at what she said. He didn't know how much worse cursed was from charm but it's Hexenbiest logic so it probably wasn't fun. She peeked her head back out one more time. "You might want to be careful what you touch in here, you being a Grimm and all." Nick had to say, he completely agreed with her on this one.

"What are we looking for?!" He called out in the direction she went as he walked into a room that he was pretty sure was a library with all the shelves of books on it. It almost resembled the spice shop's shelves in a way.

She didn't search too much in the kitchen because she doubt anything of note would be there so she made her way to the bedroom when she heard his voice. "A cauldron and a book that should say Zaubertränke on it." She exclaimed back.

Adalind couldn't help but really start looking at the place now. The rooms of the houses. That cold-ish dreary feeling of death with an alone touch to it. Most hexenbiest live like this, she would know.

Their whole thing was to seduce & have the attraction from anyone's eyes yet in reality they mostly were alone. She...Was alone.

Looking around at this place helped her see that more because her old apartment also had a feeling like this. Hers looked more inhabitant than this since she was trying and living a normal life until Sean came. One thing after another.

First, it was the Grimm, well Nick.

Well Grimms at the time, even though that still fits again now with his mother being back. She sacrificed everything & tried as hard as she could for that man just for him to fuck her mother then cast her away like a piece of garbage. Belittling her when she needed him the most but she was a fool to believe he cared.

Then...

Those damn keys everybody wants so bad, she never even really cared about the keys but it helped with two things. One she got a chance to use & bully Sean for once instead of him doing it to her.

Two, she got a chance to get back at Nick for taking her powers away & causing some hell in his life. Even though she used to hate his guts...Still! Still hates his guts, going back & forth with him was always fun. She almost would say it was their 'Thing' if that didn't make it sound too good.

In her opinion, she usually came out on top but he make it interesting for a little while.

She specifically remembers the many times he has had to interrogate or question her over this & that. Usually, it was used as a cover-up for what they were actually talking about...

Threatening, she mentally corrected herself. What they were usually threatening each other about. With double meanings until eventually just saying it. "Under different circumstances, you & I could have had some fun" Was always her personal favorite. She didn't want to say she had him shook but she could tell she took the moment away from him on that one & got him to shut up for a few seconds.

She meant it too.

That made her think back to the day she first saw him. That day shouldn't have happened now that she thought about it, she never ever usually went to that coffee shop but Sean asked to meet with her & she do anything for him at the time.

So she told her friend she wanted to try the new place out to see if they like it or not & she agreed.

"Adalind I just don't understand why you wanted to try this place out all of a sudden but I have to say" Erica sipped some of her Coffee. "Your good feeling was right because..." She put the cup to her lips again, slurping on more of the coffee. "Yes" she said with this exaggerated moan that made Adalind laugh.

Erica was kind of slutty, but the good kind of slutty who likes to make things sound sexual or talk about sex but doesn't just sleep around. Made her a very fun friend to hang out with but Adalind knew deep down it was probably a façade somewhat.

You learn fast that those people who view themselves as 'higher class' talk about you like 'lower class' behind your back. She always thought it was stupid to be very honest but she had to fit in so she had to adapt & that's what she was good at.

They both walk out of the shop & Erica stopped her for a moment. "There is a detective staring at you & he is gorgeous" She said with a growing smile. Adalind looked over for a second to see who she was talking about. She looked over to see blue eyes staring back at her, even in the distance they were piercing.

He had a very nice smile too. Very very nice indeed she thought to herself when he turned his face back to the man beside him. Erica was right on the gorgeous part that's for sure. Adalind even loved how sharp & strong his jawline looked.

She already had herself somebody in mind though & she was soon to be meeting with him so she didn't want to be late. She turned back to look at Erica. "True" She giggled a little. "But I already have somebody in mind"

Erica rolled her eyes playfully. "Like you ever tell me who it is anyways." She turned her attention back to the detective who she officially calls gorgeous now as if that's his name. "Maybe gorgeous over there will come flash his badge & frisk you" She wagged her eyebrows suggestively. Adalind just shook her head but laughed a little more.

"We are by a place that sells engagement rings, I think he is already frisking somebody"

Erica feigned confusion on her face. "So?" Adalind laughed in disbelief at her this time.

"Erica!" She laughed a little harder this time because she was taken aback by how crazy she was this morning. "Maybe you should go say hey then & not me" Adalind said to her as she sipped some of her coffee.

"Oh no that's all you. You can let him know all the different things he could do with those cuffs" She bit her lip at Adalind so she knew what she was implying.

Adalind just shook her head again. "You are unbelievable" She spoke through her laugh. "See you later." Adalind just shook her head at her again as she turned to walk the other way now & Erica went the other direction.

She heard a wolf whistle & Adalind laughed again, that woman was hilarious sometimes. She did decide to look again to see he was still staring at her. She cursed herself for having a few quick images flash in her mind of him doing some of those things Erica was joking about. Adalind really did find him attractive & he was gazing at her in a way she doesn't usually get.

Most people look at her with lust but he just had some fondness in his eyes.

Actually, maybe that was the first time ever somebody just looked at her & didn't have a look of lust or wanting something from her. Too bad she was already in love with Sean because maybe she would like to get to know this 'gorgeous' as Erica calls him. But then again, Sean usually blows her off a lot or doesn't even speak to her some days so maybe she have a little fun with him.

Maybe it even makes Sean jealous hopefully.

She started smiling to herself at the thought while also blushing a little because whoever he was, his eyes became kinder when his stare still lingered on her. She looked back over to not only admire him herself but maybe he'll take that as an incentive to come to talk to her before she went to Sean.

That look was very endearing to her & she could have sworn she Woge. Calm down Adalind was all she could think but then a few more seconds later she looked over to see no longer that smile or a kind-eyed look. She saw something she never thought she see in her life.

That empty pit of darkness in his eyes. Reaping at her soul, just like all the stories she heard about Grimms.

She shuddered to herself at the word in her mind & sped up walking as fast as she could to look natural because she didn't want to get her head removed from her body. She knows what Grimms are known for & Hexenbiest are pretty high on their most hated list.

Adalind's mind exited the memory but she ignored the last part of it. Smiling to herself at everything before seeing his eyes, only because it was amusing to her now because of how much they had been through now. Not anything else of course.

She heard footsteps approaching & turned around to see him entering the room. "I found it" He said as he was holding up a cauldron with a little triumphant face & grin. Almost had a little hint of the one back on that day she was just thinking about & she got lost in herself thinking about it again.

He squinted his eyes at her because she was just staring...not saying anything. "...What?" He asked, looking around the room with his eyes but he knew she was staring at him for some reason.

She jolted her head a little as if she was in a daydream & he woke her up. "Hm? Nothing. Let me see" She walked towards to grab it, she knew that was it but she was trying to escape the awkwardness she created for herself. Nick looked at her in more confusion as she grabbed the cauldron to 'inspect' it.

"Looks good" She said but it was oddly. She shook her head in a yes motion. Turning around to finally look through the room like she had been planning to.

He was gawking at her for whatever the hell that was. She decided to hurry up & change the subject now. "Why do you need to turn yourself into Renard anyways?" She questioned but her mind was still clearing itself. She doesn't understand her thought process sometimes on feeling a soft spot for that moment & especially a moment with him in it.

Diana being missing was really fucking with her psyche that's all. Man, she needed her back soon.

"Well, my first thought was the worst scenario." He started while she was looking around the room for the damn book. "Which was to just walk right in & kill our way through & kill our way out." She kind of liked that idea though, instead of all this waiting. She knew why it wouldn't work but still.

"She went to the other side of the bed opposite of him & peeked under the bed now. "I know we would have died but I like that better than all this waiting" She lifted her head back up after finding nothing. Listening to him when he spoke but also focused on finding the Zaubertränke book. She felt she was going to have to start thinking out of the box but could feel it was in here. Or near here.

"It is simpler isn't it?" He said but it wasn't a real question, just a jest. "I then came up on some information that said theirs a spell that can turn you into somebody for a limited amount of time." He watched her start opening some of the drawers but was only introduced to what Nick believed was a very small head that resembled a skeleton & a very odd-looking bone-shaped thing.

"I Haven't seen one of these since my mother's" She sounded intrigued as she took out the exact bone-shaped thing he already noticed. He walked towards her to examine it himself.

"What does it do?"

"Nothing much, but still helpful." She handed it to him to allow him to hold it while she continued searching. For this increasingly agitating missing book. She knows she had one, it probably was hiding in plain sight only for a hexenbiest to see. She did remember to finish answering his question though.

"You put it into a keyhole or lock hole & it will shift to the shape of the key needed then unlock it." She couldn't see him right now since she was beginning to think about having to Woge again but she could tell he was giving her a stare of some sort.

He shook his head at the things hexenbiest can do. "You hexenbiest really have an answer to every problem" He said more so to himself than her. He be more impressed if they mostly didn't use all their capabilities for being the cause of other people's problems. He would know.

"Here it is!" She said aloud. Pulling out a pretty sizable chest from the closet she searched into. Nick could see the years on it & it for sure was many. Whoever this woman was, she had been around a while before she was killed that's for sure. It had metal or iron in all the places where the sides connected. The wood still looked rich even though it was very old.

Most likely had been past down a few generations as well.

It had a thing that looked like a lock on it but it didn't exactly resemble a keyhole. It was just round, like a circle. What the hell kind of key could that even possibly use he wondered. "You want this?" He had a raised eyebrow still as he watch the chest but held up the bone key she just told him about.

She turned around for a moment, shrugging the hair out of her face before she answered. "Nope" She let out a exhale of breath. "This is one of the very few things that can't open"

He was more intrigued now. "Why?"

She Woge right after he asked & he still was used to it even more now but tensed a little nonetheless. He was a little upset at himself for losing some of his alertness in her vicinity though. He watched as she placed her finger into the hole on the lock & slide it in.

He heard a clicking noise and then something that sounded like smoke hissing. "Because it needs hexenbiest blood" She said, Woge back to her human face now as the chest lid just popped open like it was released.

He eyed it in amusement because he was not aware of how much hexenbiest use their abilities on a different variety of things. How they make it where only some things can be accessed by them only. He saw her finger had some blood on it so now he fully understood what she meant. Maybe that's what the clicking noise was. "So it stabbed you?" He wondered.

"Like when you get a shot from a doctor? Yes." She said as she stood up to fully open the chest lid now. He walked over to be on her side, but still behind her as she was sifting through the chest now. It was mostly books but Nick saw other small utensils in it as well. Some things that looked like they could be at Rosalee's spice shop. The books reminded him of his trailer & there are some bottles in it.

Of what though? He did not know & he was pretty sure that was a good thing.

He walked over to look out of the window of the bedroom, he didn't hear anything but just to be safe. Never can be too cautious that's for sure. He felt like maybe it was just him trying to make it up to himself that he wasn't alert a minute or two earlier when she Woge.

He turned to look back at her now.

She pulled out one book but Nick read the label & it didn't say Zaubertränke on it. It was blank actually. A faded, dark black-looking color, may didn't look interesting but how it is closed was pretty eye-catching. From what he could tell it's a blade keeping the book closed shut. She wasn't really paying it any mind but holding it out of the way as she sifted more & more through the chest.

At least, she didn't pay it any mind until all of a sudden the blade slid out of the book & floated into the air like it was hovering. It looked like it use to be a small dagger blade but without the hilt no longer.

It felt like both Nick & Adalind watched it in slow motion, perplexing looks written all over their faces. Nick eyed it carefully even more now. Adalind who was bent over because of her searching, stood up fully to look at it. Just floating there.

Nick swallowed a little because that bad feeling was arising inside of him. "How'd..." He cleared his throat. "How'd you do that?" He asked but his voice was evident with caution. Both their eyes had nervousness growing in them deeply.

"I didn't" She said carefully. Her throat felt like it had a lump in it. His eye had a little twitch now.

Neither of them wanted to move. Adalind knows hexenbiest can cause some things to not be so friendly & Nick had a feeling it wouldn't be a good idea to move without any true merit. It was spinning around slowly like it was on a display table.

"Adalind..." He said her name, speaking it in a way that implied for her to do something.

"Nick..." She said back with the same tone.

"Your the hexenbiest" He said slightly argumentative. Both of them still had their pupils locked onto the floating blade. It was somewhat fitting they were on opposite sides of the room now as it floated between them.

"Your the one with the big plan" He could tell she wanted to add more of her usual sarcasm to that but was too wary right now to do so.

"Well, something is telling me this isn't good." He said as his eye twitch a little when it rotated once more in the air.

She gulped a little. "Either Frau put a spell on it to make sure I didn't touch her chest or to kill me later...or..."

"Or?" He questioned.

"It may not like the fact a Grimm is near it"

He did the littlest nod of his head at her answer. Accepting that she most likely is right about the latter of those theories. "Did you find the book we need?" He asked & she peeked her eyes down at her left hand that was holding a book in it.

"Mhm" She said slowly. "Found it right when this happened."

"So we can leave then?" He asked optimistically.

She wishes that was the case but not yet sadly. "No" She said shortly.

He looked a little annoyed, at the situation or her simple answer though she wasn't sure. "And why's that?"

"Need to find the ingredients for the rest of it"

She said but the fact they were both just standing there frozen because of a damn dagger was beginning to annoy him. "Great." They both haven't even blinked to take their eyes off it this whole time he was pretty sure.

"Okay, so we can both assume this is because I'm a Grimm right?"

She knew it could have possibly been about her like she said earlier but it was more than likely it was because of him. "Most likely" She answered.

"We can also both assume this plans on stabbing somebody, again most likely me because I'm a Grimm...right?

"Probably"

"Good, So" He swallowed once more. "You take the book & walk out so you can get the other things you need to make it."

She couldn't believe the next question she had coming up. "What about you?" She asked softly but with a very, very small tone of worry. Surprising to herself.

"You get what you have to & come back to put this back in the book" He said to her.

"What if I just try to right now so you are not stuck with a blade inches away from impaling your throat." She had to admit, that even her stress was building up for him.

"I don't know what this is and neither do you. We don't have the time to search around & find a way to take the spell off of it so it doesn't attack unless you have an idea?" His eyes went to meet hers as he noticed they were a little wide. Is that worry he sees? Not a chance he thought to himself.

"What if I just try to grab it"

"I don't know if that's a good idea" He said as he looked back at the tip of the blade. Damn it looked sharp. He was never in fear of it, but Nick knows hexenbiest curses or whatever the hell they touch usually has a pretty 'final kill' vibe to it. So he be damned if he lets some bewitched dagger take him out but he was still going to be extremely cautious with his approach.

"It can't hurt to try" She said softly. His eyes went back to looking at her with a very intense glare. "Right, it actually could" She felt dumb for even saying it now but she excused herself because you can't think straight when your mind has worry in it for someone. For Diana only of course! Her worry for Diana only, not Diana & him!

She had to correct her thoughts real quick.

"Give it a go" He said to fill the silence & she looked at him after he did. She took a cautious step toward the blade because what if it was after her? But it still stayed the same, just spinning around at a steady pace in the air.

She took another step.

She felt like a single, cold sweat drop would slide down her head's temple with every small step she took. She reached out to grab it very slowly, giving Nick a look to let him know she was about to attempt to put her hand on it. He didn't really move much but it was like he gave her a nod with his eye movements.

She slowly wrapped her fingers around it & as soon as she officially took hold of it, it stopped moving completely. Nick's eyes stilled with it but his body tensed up, ready to move.

Adalind at first was worried about what happens next but her mind was wondering what kind of hex or whatever Frau put on this blade could have been. It probably wasn't even Frau, that whole chest was clearly passed down. "Whatever it is, it knows your here but doesn't see you as a threat...yet." She said to him softly but also in wonder at the blade because she was holding it, yes.

But it wasn't moving. It's like it knew she wasn't the Grimm but it could sense one was there.

She took her hand off of it now because it was no use, it was not budging. Nick looked his eyes back at her. "Look just go get the stuff you need & then let me know when you're done. We don't have the time or probably even the right resources to try & figure this out."

"It could be in this book" She held up the book that it came out of.

"Adalind!" He said with an urgent hiss. He jolted his head a little too much in her direction though. The blade immediately turned its pointed end towards him, it didn't drive forward to stab yet though. More like his movement made it realize the direction he was in. Now it was primed to stab him whenever he finally did move.

Her eyes were wide again and once again he thought it was a hint of worry in them but he needs to stop assuming that. They hate each other, especially him. He needs to focus on keeping himself unstabbed at the moment, not on if Adalind cares if he doesn't remain unstabbed. Otherwise, he will end up getting stabbed for not focusing on not being stabbed.

He realized he was talking circles in his head & told himself to shut up. "Hurry" He said to her & she didn't exactly look like she liked it. He looked her directly in her eyes now though. They had a look in them like he wanted to make sure she saw how serious he was about what he was going to say. "I'm choosing to trust...you" He took a deep breath. "...right now Adalind." She could see the reluctance a little in his face but the sincerity in the depths of his eyes showed her what she really needed to see.

She assumed he meant he was trusting her to not just abandon him & take advantage of this situation right now. She didn't say anything, but she held his gaze for a good, strong while. She didn't really know what to say.

He was putting faith in her. More than anybody else ever has, at least of this magnitude. She really wishes he stop doing things that other people never truly or genuinely have done for her. It makes it easier to remember the amount of hate & disdain she has for him.

Yet lately it hasn't had the same luster in it as it use to, to her for some reason. Correction, she knew why because of what she just said. But still doesn't make it less weird. He ruined your life or helped in ruining it so, of course, you hate him. You may have said not to hate each other until this was over but still doesn't mean you can't hate him in your head right?

So why the fuck does it keep lessening?! You think it be at an all-time high since she can't say some of the remarks she would like to say to him just to piss him off. Yet lately she hasn't had the need to but worse...She hasn't even wanted too much. She feels contempt & an extreme disliking still there but lately, the word hate just feels empty a little.

She shrugged it off though. She knows her mind has been very vulnerable & all over the place ever since that bastard took her daughter away from her. All it was, so she shouldn't bother about it too much.

Adalind knew she better hurry up & find the shit she needed fast or it wouldn't be much longer before that blade acted. Luckily she didn't need to open the book to know what to get because she just needed the ingredients for it, not the amounts and she knew what ingredients she needed.

Those she found pretty easily around the lower cabinets of where it looked like Nick must have searched when he found the Cauldron. Which reminded her she would need to go pick that up when she went to tell him she was finished. She grabbed an old rice bag that was lying around to put the bottles she obtain into it. Not trusting it just being loosely open she went into what looked like a spare room or an empty one.

Trying to find a shoe so she could remove the lace from it & use that to tie the bag close.

There were a few pairs of heels under the bed so she just used the straps instead. No time to just strap the bag herself or keep looking for laces so she used her powers to do it quickly. Okay now she can go let him know & they can get out of there.

As she was walking by though, she saw something out of the corner of her eye. She turned to see it was on the dresser in the corner of this bedroom. It was a phone. She stopped in her footsteps at the sight of it. Now pondering.

She wasn't even surprised she turned up on a phone. Frau wasn't the type to use one but she would have had one just in case she needed it at some point.

Before they left, Nick left his phone at Monroe & Rosalee's so nobody would call & so nobody could get anything off of it just in case this goes wrong. She assumes that his way of keeping all of his friends safe from the Royals if he were to be taken by them on his quest to help her.

He told her no phones as well except for the one burner phone he had but said it would only be used when it was time.

Time for what though she doesn't know. Another! Part of his plan he hasn't told her about.

She looked at the phone still & an idea popped into her mind. What if this plan of his doesn't work & you are stuck without getting her back? She started thinking even more now. The Royals have wanted Nick ever since they found out about their being a Grimm in Portland. They probably trade a lot to have him.

A whole lot...

They wouldn't give her back Diana but they probably let her stay in the castle & be with her. Her eyes & spirits couldn't help but perk up at that thought. She could call Viktor to discuss terms on something. She could even call him to this house right now, Nick can't really go anywhere or expect it. She knew he didn't trust her but even he wouldn't see it coming & even if he did, not like he could stop them. Well, not the number of forces she knew Viktor would bring.

Then she could have Diana back! Well, be with her at least.

She began taking steps toward the phone but her mind replayed the image of Nick's face popped into her mind but it felt as though it was in front of her. Like a path to choose.

"I'm choosing to trust...you"

The words he spoke echoed in her ears again. If you do this, you be betraying him. Why does that matter though? He probably going to screw you over at the end of all this himself anyways.

But he decided to help you when no one else wanted to. He had absolutely no reason to help you at all but he did anyway despite warnings from all of the people he considers close to him. He has made an effort at it too, not like he is just half-assing.

He's helping you.

But this would be a sure way to be with Diana though. She could finally look in her eyes again, at that look she gives her that only another mother would understand. Adoration & love without even knowing why because she's a baby but that makes it all the more sweeter.

To hold her again, to finally just sit and hold her. She closed her eyes at the beauty of that thought.

"I'm choosing to trust...you"

Echoed in her thoughts once again. What the hell was she supposed to do? An opportunity like this most likely won't come again. But the first people who have truly been good to you. Monroe, Rosalee...Nick, you be betraying them.

Why did that matter so much about betraying Nick for god's sake? You would have done it in a heartbeat weeks ago. Why can't you now?! She needs to hurry up & make a decision as well. There is a blade on his neck aiming to rip into him as we speak. As soon as he moved they were going to have to make a run from it.

She rubbed her hand down her face in frustration. She didn't know what to do.

What if it was just a true backup plan? Just in case this doesn't go well or she stops liking where it's headed. It could be like her last resort maybe. The last move she could pull if needed. Besides, they are enemies at the end of the day. He's only helping you because of Diana, not for you.

At least she thinks.

Wait of course he is, why would he help you just to help you? You two despise each other.

She already decided against immediately calling Viktor if she did take the phone. She would have to think of a way for him not to screw her over & just kill her, then take Nick. She didn't like the idea of what she would do to him either.

Well, what the fuck Adalind? Why the hell would you care about that, the decision should be easy.

"I'm choosing to trust...you"

But you swore to Diana & yourself that you would be a better mother & person for her. Which would mean doing everything in her power to get her back like a good mother should & would do right?

Would a good person do that to the only person who has sacrificed & gone through some hurdles mentally & physically to help you get her back though? She felt tears brimming again & it frustrated her even more. Why was this so damn hard? She was having a whole mental argument with herself that may lead to an impending breakdown soon at this rate.

She could just leave it & commit to what he has planned to help her get her baby back. Or possibly give herself a chance to screw him over later just in case. That sounded so bad to her now. She is using him then basically. Why is that so bad now though?

So many questions, with so few answers. A mental civil war happening in her head right now. She looked at the phone again.

What should she do?!

I know this chapter is kind of long, sorry!

Adalind's having a pretty rough battle in her head right now I know haha:)! Thank you to everybody who has been leaving reviews! I love reading all of them, I even read some over again just to feel good. They mean a lot & I'm glad you guys are liking the story. More to come soon.

I haven't written in so long so this was my first story in a while so sorry my quality isn't the best right now.

I'll probably write another one after this one when I'm back in a true groove but with that being said...Reviews are welcomed by everybody! Trying to add some suspense to this story. I'll try to have another chapter up by tomorrow or maybe the day after!
