Maya all but dragged an crying Olivia out of the convenient store. She was pissed, and in her mind, rightfully so.

"Talk! Now!" Maya shouted as she started her black Bentley, she was driving her daughter to the nearest clinic that she could find. Maya was moving on adrenaline, weaving through other cars and speeding through traffic lights. She needed answers, immediately. This couldn't be happening. She thought she'd done everything right to prevent this from happening.

Olivia was terrified in the passenger seat, she didn't know if she was pregnant yet, but she was already protective of her possible child.

"It happened the day he came over and you left to pick up O'Shea- I missed my period last week and I've been feeling kinda sick.. Mama, please slow- slow down!" Olivia cried as her mom came extremely close to ramming into another vehicle ahead of them.

She did not want to die like this, nor did she want her mother to be the cause of anyone else's death. Maya eventually slowed, and when Olivia glanced in her mother's direction she caught site of tears rolling down her face- it broke her even more to be the cause of her mother's pain. She felt horrible.

"I'm sorry, mommy." She said in a whisper. "Olivia, please." Maya retorted as she shook her head.

"Ms. Pope, I am confirming that you are indeed pregnant. You are exactly three and a half weeks as of today. And by the looks on the faces in the room, this isn't good news?" Doctor asked, and Maya immediately spoke up. "No, Doctor. This isn't good news at all."

"I see. Well, there are other options for you to consider, Ms. Pope and Ms. Lewis. Your test may be positive, but that doesn't mean you necessarily have to feel positive about how to deal with this news right now. Besides, you have the options of putting the child up for adoption, terminating the pregnancy, or you could continue the pregnancy.." Doctor Bailey said suggestively while shifting her focus between Olivia and Maya as she handed them both a pamphlet for each option.

"The timing may not be good and it may not be good news now, but I want keep my baby." Olivia spoke up almost immediately as she placed her hand over her stomach protectively, causing her mother to glare in her direction. Maya knew she would never force Olivia's hand to do anything as drastic as making her get an abortion or give her child up for adoption, but that's what she'd honestly and silently hoped for. Did she however feel a little guilty after hearing Olivia proudly state that she wanted her baby? Slightly, so that moment gave her a little small space of hope that everything could possibly be ok. Her daughter had an natural motherly protective instinct just like she had had when she was in this exact same position years ago.

Doctor Bailey smiled and stood, "Very well then, let's get you started with your prenatal care."

Next Day: The Pryce's

"We are deeply disappointed in the two of you!" Michael, Curtis' father voice boomed as he spoke for he and his wife as he tossed the paperwork that stated Olivia's pregnancy across his living room floor.

Maya and Olivia had come over to the Pryce's residence the very next day after Olivia's appointment to share the "not-so good, yet news" with the expecting father, and his family. The Pryce's reaction was not a surprise, but it wasn't as bad as Olivia thought it'd be. She thought she would be called a whore, or be accused of lying about Curtis fathering her child or even trying to "trap" their son, but thank goodness that didn't happen. The timing of it all just made sense.

Speaking of Curtis, Olivia had wanted to speak with him alone and tell him the news herself beforehand, but of course her mother had plans of her own.

After the news of the baby broke at the dinner table the three adults and two teens shifted to the living room where Curtis and Olivia sat side by side on his family's couch while the adults stood over them, yelling demands and shouting questions at them. The young pair were so unprepared for any of this, but it was too late to go back or feel sorry for themselves. The deed was done, and they now had a child on the way.

"They're disappointed but I am pissed!" Maya seethe as she darted her eyes at the young couple before her, but mainly at Olivia, she was disgusted with Curtis, but he was not her child and she could not only blame him for this. Olivia knew better than this!

Anna Pryce finally spoke up with a heavy Spanish accent as she eyed her boy, "Curtis, you will sign up for ROTC and get a part time job to help pay for your child's needs. !Ay, dios mío! I cannot believe this, me, an abuela!"

"And baby girl..." Maya started in a condescending tone, "I will be getting you into that cosmetology program at the school. That way I can keep an eye on you while you earn your credit by working at the salon with me."

"You two will finish high school and establish yourselves. Maya, Michael and myself have agreed to HELP raise the baby." Mrs. Pryce said in a more calming tone as she looked at Olivia. She truly felt bad for the girl, and for her son. The were so young and were not ready for this life.

"And lastly, after graduation...you two ARE be getting married." Maya and Mr. Pryce spoke in a final tone.

Olivia and Curtis felt defeated, but they had done it to themselves.

"Damn, Liv. I can't believe you're making me an uncle already. I always thought I'd beat you at this, but you continue to prove that you're the better twin- or not." O'Shea joked as he joined his sister and her best friend on the couch.

Olivia rolled her eyes and snickered at her brother's comment, he'd been walking on eggshells around her since he found out about her pregnancy, so to have him teasing her made her feel good. She didn't want things to change between them. "Hey! Too soon, ugly. Way too soon."

"Yeah, 'Shea. You know what, Liv, I think he should get the honors of changing the first poopy diaper because of that." Abby added as O'Shea faked gagged. The image of her brother changing her baby's poopy diaper really made Olivia giggle. "Oh, God. Please don't remind me that I'll soon be wiping someone else's butt besides mine. Especially while I'm eating milk duds."

The three fell into a comfortable silence after snickering at Liv's last comment. She was grateful for the two of them. They were always by her side and keeping her sane.

"Yo, Liv, I know this wasn't an ideal thing, but just know I got you and the kid's back no matter what. You can always count on me to be there." O'Shea said after a moment of silence.

"Yeah, me too. You can count on me too. Over a cliff, like always." Abby added.

Maybe it was the hormones already kicking in, but Olivia couldn't start the tears from falling even if she wanted to. "Thank you. It really means a lot to have both of your support."

"We love you, mama bear." Abby sang as she beamed. "I can't wait to be an aunt."

Olivia smiled, and truth be told, as the days went by she was getting used to the idea of being someone's mother. "I love you guys more, no backies."
