"Liv, are you ok? You look like you're in some sort of pain?"
Olivia turned up her lips and frowned at her husband's comment as she rubbed her 8 month pregnant tummy. "Well, of course I'm in pain, Curtis! If you hadn't noticed I am eight months pregnant; carrying an entire human inside of me that won't stop moving around! And on top of that, I barely weighed 100 pounds before you decided to ejaculate prematurely and impregnate me, so this- this extra weight that I am carrying isn't easy, fun or painless!" She retorted on the verge of tears.
Curtis went silent. To him Olivia had been making things look so easy during this entire pregnancy that he never even guessed that she was so uncomfortable. He tried to be attentive as possible to her needs and to help her with mundane tasks, but she'd always turn him down with, "I got it. Thank you." So, after the first few months into Liv's pregnancy, Curtis had given up on trying to help with anything. He figured she'd come to him on her own when she needed him.
But if it wasn't for sex, that rarely happened.
The couple had tied the knot in July and moved into an apartment (with their parents signing for everything of course), immediately after graduating in June, just like their parents had promised they would. The two had worked triple times as hard as they normally would just to receive their credits by the end of the school year in order to graduate early. For Curtis this wasn't a big deal, he didn't mind leaving high school and moving on in life, but it crushed Olivia.
The feeling and the knowing that she was not going to get to attend the senior trip with her classmates next school year, or get to experience getting all dolled up with her best friend and twin brother for prom truly hurt her. All throughout grade school Olivia couldn't wait to get sloppy drunk with her classmates on graduation night, and to have that moment snatched away sucked.
"Olivia look, I'm sorry. I know I ruined a lot of things for you- for us but we're here now, and have to get used to being together. In less than a month we'll be welcoming our baby boy home and I want us to give him a loving home. I know we're young but can we at least try to grow to love one another? You're my wife, and I want to learn to love you. I'm already extremely attracted to you and I do like you, more than you know. Again, I'm sorry this happened to us, but I'm happy it happened with you. You're going to be a great mother to our son, and when you learn to love me I know you'll be a great wife as well."
Curtis has always had a way with words, it's what blinded Olivia and allowed her to be so careless with him in the first place. She swiped the stray tear from her eye and smiled. "You're right, Curtis. I am sorry, this is just a lot, ok? I know I haven't been entirely the best partner but this just isn't how I imagined myself at sixteen. A wife and a mother. I know we'll learn how to deal with one another and I can assure you that I'll be better once I'm in control of my emotions again- it's your son that's making me so mean." Liv sighed, nearly out of breath, the baby was really doing a number on her.
The young couple then laughed together, and immediately the tension in the room they stood in was gone.
Their two bedroom and one bath townhouse wasn't anything too fancy but it was perfect for them, and they were just happy to be away from their overbearing parents, yet the new "throuple" still made every day visits like clockwork.
The living room was the biggest area, it was occupied with a flat screen tv mounted on the wall, one long gray sectional couch and the area even had a fireplace. The kitchen was a lot smaller, not too much counter space and barely enough space for a dining table, but they made it work. The bedrooms were upstairs and quite big, the master bedroom was plain, the room only held the couple's bed and dressers for their clothing. Nothing that gave off the impression that the two were in love.
On the other hand, their son, Isaiah, nursery's was full with items from the baby shower they were surprised with three months ago. The young couple weren't expecting anything from their parents, especially something so grand. So when Olivia and Curtis walked into her mother's house and she saw her mom, the women she considered her grandmothers, Ms. Brenda and Ms. Maria smiling in her presence in what seemed like forever, she couldn't stop the tears from falling.
That day gave Olivia so much hope that everything would be ok.
To be surrounded by so many of her love ones, and opening so many gifts for her son– really made the young girl happy. They had truly spoiled her boy rotten and he hadn't even made his arrival. The only thing Liv and Curtis had to purchase was a car seat, but literally everything else was handled by their generous family members and a few friends.
By this time, Olivia was definitely in her nesting mode, she cleaned house from top to bottom, washed every piece of fabric she could think of, and she'd even arranged the baby's clothes, towels and blankets by color coordination. Again, Curtis just stood by. He wondered if Liv would even be reluctant to him holding their baby once he arrived, but he knew regardless of how she felt he'd definitely put his foot down when it came to his son.
The couple really had trouble being "a couple", it was easier, and a lot more fun when they weren't forced. The two had sex maybe a hand full of times, only to calm Liv's raging hormones but anything mind blowing? That was nonexistent in the Pryce's household, and they were both sorta fine with it, neither one of them had something to compare it to anyway.
XXX
Just three days ago on September the eleventh Olivia had given birth to a seven pound and eleven ounce baby, and she had done a "helluva job" according to Maya, the nurses and her Doctor. After being fully dilated and four great, big pushes later, Isaiah Thomas Pryce was out of the womb and filling the delivery room with his loud cries.
Poor Curtis, he'd missed everything. The moment he stepped between Olivia's legs and witnessed her vagina expanding as his son's head came through, it was lights out for him. There's no way he could've been a doctor, Liv thought.
The second Curtis had awakened he began to apologize, and it took Maya's stern look for Olivia to keep her sharp tongue at bay, or to keep her from laughing, you just never knew with her. She'd always gotten into trouble for laughing at the wrong time and being too honest at times. However, Curtis did get to witness his son receiving his first bath and luckily he was able to record that moment, along with Liv giving their fussy boy his first feeding.
Isaiah had latched to her breast like a pro, and although it was extremely painful for Olivia and she winced throughout the feeding, she was hellbent on giving her son the best and she knew that would only come from her body, so she pushed through.

"Welcome home, Isaiah." Olivia softly cooed as she retrieved the sleeping baby boy from his car seat. She, Curtis and the baby had been released from the hospital just a few hours ago and the three were now settling into their cozy home.
Once the trio were settled with three full bellies and in relaxing clothes, the couple spent hours just gazing down at their sleeping boy and soaking up their alone time with him.
Within the next few days the boy would start receiving visitors; starting with his paternal grandparents, then his maternal grandmother and uncle, and lastly his godmother, Abby.
Each person had a set time for the baby, which would comply with the feeding schedule Olivia had already set in motion. It was typically on demand but on average, that was every three hours for little Isaiah. Plus they didn't want too many hands touching and passing him around in one day and everyone understand that. Curtis and Olivia were convinced that they had the best boy around. The little guy rarely cried and he was always smiling- rather his eyes hazel orbs were open or close. He was already Olivia's twin too, same skin complexion and all, but his hair held a silkier texture which resembled his father's. Even still, he had completely "stole Liv's face" as Abby so put it the moment she laid her eyes on her pouty lips godson.
As time went on Olivia and Curtis had fell into a routine that worked extremely well for them and their baby. Curtis had expected more after the six weeks mark but even then the couple still rarely had sex, yet they were happy together. They even began to exchange "I love you's". Isaiah had truly brought them, and their families together in a way no one had expected. Life was finally back good. Thank you, Isaiah.

Isaiah has made his arrival! Yay!
I'm trying to move the story along as quickly as possible without missing important factors so that Fitz can join the party- which will very soon since Liv's no longer pregnant. Not sure if the next chapter will be a time skip or what, but just be on a lookout!
Hope you enjoyed .
