So this was a fun little idea I had, and I wanted to get this out of my system so I can focus on working on other stuff. Also because my birthday's coming up, and I wanna focus on it.

Anyhow, this is just a proof of concept. If I get enough feedback, I might expand this into a proper story. But until now... let's-a go!

In the middle of a dark void, a certain boy with an orange shirt, blue pants, and white hair stepped out from the shadows and folded his arms.

"Hello, my name is Lincoln Loud. You know all those magical girl stories, about friendship, love, and underage girls in ridiculous outfits fighting monsters and women in skimpy outfits? This story…"

Lincoln paused, sighed, and groaned:

"Honestly, it's about what you expect."

Lincoln reached for the edges of the black void, then pulled them like flipping a page of a comic book. This took Lincoln to the Royal Woods city square, where a large interdimensional building had risen.

"In this world, gateways to alternate dimensions known as "Dungeons" suddenly appeared one day, and in order to combat the cookie cutter monsters that came out of them, humanity was granted superpowers through unknown means."

The page was flipped once again, this time showing a girl and a guy. The first to react was the girl, who did a little twirl before her clothes turned into a fancy, frilly dress.

"Girls gained magical abilities that became stronger when transformed into what's been dubbed "Magical Girls."

The guy reacted next, spinning before transforming into a small, winged creature.

"Guys, meanwhile, gained the ability to transform into tiny creatures with magical powers as well."

The girl and the transformed guy did a high five, and their forms turned into light before converging and transforming into a contract.

"With these powers, and a brand new threat in the form of the dungeons, a sense of order was required to prosper, and so the Contract System was created: the guys would gain the ability to ask a girl to form a contract with them, allowing both sides to share magic between each other in order to better handle the dungeons. The catch was that as long as the contract was inactive, both sides had their powers sealed until the contract was activated."

Another page flip happened, this time showing the Loud House itself.

"It has been this way for over two hundred years now, and truthfully, compared to then, monsters and dungeon attacks have become more rare, but no less lethal."

On top of the rooftop, Lincoln's form apparently hopped over.

"I'm one of the many Contractors who are part of the Contract System. But more specifically, I'm currently…"

The scene zoomed on the rooftop, revealing Lincoln had transformed into a tiny plush rabbit, with his orange shirt and blue pants intact.

"A plush rabbit."

Suddenly, an explosion occurred, causing the transformed Lincoln to roll off helplessly along the roof.

"As for why I'm a plush rabbit…"

Suddenly, a white flash of light zoomed and caught the plush rabbit, all while a female voice chirped:

"Gotcha!"

The plush rabbit opened his eyes, and found himself sitting on the back of a giant, white magical dog creature, one that landed on the ground safely while the plush rabbit turned to look at its rider:

She was a girl with slightly tanned skin, wavy brown hair tied up by a pink flower-shaped accessory, and a yellow dress with long sleeves and white highlights.

"I was starting to wonder where you had gone!" the girl stated. "You haven't forgotten that today's training day, right?"

And it was then that Lincoln remembered, totally not for the audience's benefit, how it was that things got to this point…

"Son, as you know," Lynn Sr., Lincoln's father, began. "Those who don't have a True Contract by age 13 will be kicked out of the Contract System and have their powers taken away from then, reducing them to ordinary civilians and leaving them vulnerable to monster attacks."

"Yeah, Dad, I already know all that," Lincoln rolled his eyes. "Don't worry, I'm doing everything in my power to find just the right girl to make a True Contract with-"

"Don't bother, I already found you someone."

Lincoln's eyes widened, and before he could even ask what he meant, the boy was taken to the living room by his father, where a certain brunette sat on a couch, petting her dog as the man said:

"Lincoln, I want to present to you the girl whom you will make a True Contract with!"

The girl and Lincoln locked eyes, and as the former flashed a smile and the latter looked confused, Lynn Sr. exclaimed:

"Lacey St. Clair!"

Once back in the real world, the plush rabbit shook his head and replied:

"Let's go."

Lacey flashed a wide, toothy smile, and she and her magical dog ran off to the training area. He could go on and on about the trials and tribulations they went through since they first met, or how this was just the beginning of their hardest journey yet.

But that was a story for another day.
