Alonso's Scoob-pendous Journey

Prologue

My name is Alonso. Something very strange happened. I found myself traveling with Scooby-Doo, Shaggy, Fred, Daphne, and Velma. Let me talk about myself. I have black hair, a black shirt with the Star from Super Mario on it, a red jacket over it, a blue hat, and checkered slip-on shoes. My favorite things to do include drawing, internet surfing, playing video games, occasionally watching TV, riding my bike, and taking trips. I also wield magical powers so if necessary, I change from civvies to my sorcerer form similar to Sorcerer Mickey's outfit from Fantasia.

Anyway, it all started before I met the gang.

One Saturday, I had just finished breakfast which was chocolate frosted donuts from Dunkin' Donuts. After that, I decided to binge watch one of my favorite Scooby-Doo remakes: What's New, Scooby-Doo? I logged onto the HBO Max website. Suddenly, I thought of something.

Alonso: "What if instead of just watching the gang in action, I join them? It ought to be tons of fun."

The first thing I did was pack my things, including my clothes. Then, I went to YouTube and searched a video on how to draw a treasure chest. After I drew and colored my own, I used my magic to make it come to life. I stored what I needed in the chest and made it disappear. I then took a deep breath.

Alonso: "Well, I'd miss my home and everyone I care about but just think. Me hanging out with and helping the gang: Fred, Daphne, Velma, Shaggy, and Scooby-Doo. Easily the best thing that could ever happen to me."

After changing to my sorcerer outfit, I then pulled out my star staff and aimed directly at the laptop.

Alonso: "Heed the words of this mortal

On this laptop, summon a portal!"

The portal that appeared was purple. I flew right in and then it vanished, returning the laptop to normal. As I flew through the portal, I could see various scenes from episodes like The Unnaturals and Fright House of a Lighthouse.

Alonso: "Whoa! So trippy!"

The portal appeared at an alley in Coolsville. Luckily, I landed on the floor instead of a trash can. The portal that took me to Coolsville vanished. I dusted myself off.

Alonso: "Well, here I am. Now I gotta find Scooby and the gang." I walked down the street, searching for the Mystery, Inc. gang. I put my hand on my chin.

Alonso: "Now if I were Scooby-Doo, the one place I'd want to be is a place that serves burgers." Suddenly, I spotted a malt shop and saw the gang by the glass window. I smiled and went inside. I spotted the gang hanging out and having a big meal.

Scooby-Doo: "Hello." He waved.

Shaggy: "Like, who are you?"

Alonso: "Name's Alonso. Good to meet you."

Fred: "Hi, Alonso. I'm-"

Alonso: "Fred, Daphne, Velma, Shaggy, and Scooby-Doo."

Fred: "Hold the phone! How'd you know that?"

Alonso: "I heard about you guys. You've been at it many times before. Hearing about monsters, running from them, trapping them, finding out they're fakes, and learning why the culprit, be it male or female was behind it. I'm a big fan of your work."

Shaggy: "Like, have a seat." I sat next to him.

Alonso: "Looking good, Daphne. Purple is definitely your color." She kissed me in the cheek.

Daphne: "That means a lot coming from you and you look good in red." I blushed.

Alonso: "Thanks, Daphne."

Shaggy: "Like what brings you here?

Alonso: "Glad you asked. Thought I'd get in on solving new mysteries while hanging out with you guys." I smiled after I finished speaking.

Velma: "Listen, Alonso. I don't mind the hanging out part but I want you to understand. What we do when solving mysteries in serious business. It's not all fun and games. You of all people should know that." I stopped smiling to listen and realize how serious she was being.

Velma: "What's more. There comes a time when you have to think about what's at stake. Understand?"

Alonso: "I understand. Never have I been more aware of what needs to be done when solving cases." A waitress walked up to me.

Waitress: "What'll it be?"

Alonso: "One plain hamburger and a chocolate milkshake."

Waitress: "Coming right up." She walked away to take care of the order.

Shaggy: "Like, Velma's right. And you never know when you might run into creepy monsters and ghosts!" He and Scooby trembled at the thought.

Scooby: "Yeah, creepy!" I felt bad for both of them.

Alonso: "It's okay, you two. I know what it's like to be scared. What scares me is being up some place that's very high. Anyone can be scared of heights." What also scares me is that werecat transformation scene from the Thriller music video. Just looking at it makes my eyes hurt.

Alonso: "So where are you guys going from here?"

Fred: "We're going to a mountain resort for snowboarding. Why don't you join us?"

Alonso: "Sounds like fun. I've never been to one before." Those resorts cost an arm or a leg. I kid you not. The waitress came back with my order.

Waitress: "Here you go. One plain hamburger and chocolate milkshake." She placed it in front of me.

Alonso: "Thank you, ma'am." I gave her a $5 tip and ate my meal.

Alonso: "You guys have my word. I'll know when to be serious and stay focused."

After we left, we got in the Mystery Machine, all dressed for that trip to the mountain resort.

Alonso: "Absolutely amazing! I always wanted to see what it would be like riding in the Mystery Machine. This is a beauty."

Fred: "Glad you like it."

Alonso: "Thanks. And whatever happens, I'm with you guys 100%." We joined hands.

Alonso: "Mystery, Incorporated forever!" We all jumped up and cheered. We all got in the van and drove off.
