I hope I did the character right, if not, please don't hate and I do not hate Dr. Loomis, this is just a story. Nice reviews only please! :)
Michael Myers was only 6 years old when he stabbed his older sister, Judith Myers, to death. He had been admitted into a psychiatric hospital for 15 years, he is now 21 years old. He went to Smith's Grove Sanitarium where he became the patient of a psychiatrist named Doctor Samuel Loomis. Yes, what Michael did was awful and cruel, but the doctor's statement about the boy being "Purely Evil" has made the boy feel even more troubled. Nurse Marion Chambers was walking down to hall to return to the front desk, but stopped when she heard her colleague, psychiatrist Doctor Samuel Loomis's voice echoing, as he yelled at Michael. Marion slowly walks over to the door, looking out to see Sam yelling at Michael, about how evil he was. She saw the young man's face, she could tell that he was uncomfortable. Marion hated the way they treated the patients, they were human as well. But to Dr. Loomis, Michael wasn't human. However, Marion deep down knows that there was a troubled broken boy who was secretly crying for help. So Marion opened the door and cleared her throat, Dr. Loomis looked over at her and calmed down. "Get out!" He shouts.
Marion closed her eyes and let out a breath.
"Dr. Loomis." Marion spoke. "For the love of God, leave him be."
Dr. Loomis looked at her, dumbfounded.
"Why doesn't everyone believe me?!" He asked angrily. "This boy is evil!"
"He is not!" Marion shouts. "He was just a boy and he is still not well because of you!"
Dr. Loomis stared out, mouth agape.
"All you do is talk down on him, isolate him, just flat out abusing him!" Marion snapped. "Look Dr., I know you are just doing your job. But look at what you're doing…" She spoke. "I think the reason why he doesn't speak is because…he is afraid of you."
Michael's head slowly turned, making Marion jump a little. His face was emotionless, he wasn't blinking either. Just staring.
"Didn't his parents say he was a very shy and quiet little boy?" She asked him.
Dr. Loomis let out a sigh.
"I think you need to step away from Michael and let someone else take care of him." Marion said sternly.
"I'm sorry, but you can't tell me what to do." Dr. Loomis said to her. "I am his doctor."
"Well you are not a good one!" Marion snaps.
Dr. Loomis was taken aback, leaving Marion shocked and guilty.
"Dr., I am sorry…but you really are…horrible to this boy." Marion said calmly. "You are not helping him to heal."
Sam looked at the floor, knowing that the woman was right. Believe it or not, way deep down, he deeply cared for the boy.
"Well, maybe I have been…a little…overreacting about him being truly evil." Dr. Loomis starts. "What can I do? He won't talk or…do anything."
Marion thought for a bit and let out a deep sigh.
"Have you tried comforting him?" She asked.
Sam looked over at her and then at Michael, who was still staring blankly at them.
"Michael….?" He asked.
Michael moved his eyes towards his doctor.
"Michael." Dr. Loomis breathed as he walked over to him. "I'm sorry for not helping you correctly…but I need you to open up."
Michael stood up and just took the note and pen from the doctor, writing down something before handing it back. Dr. Loomis looked down at the scribbled handwriting.
I missed my family, it read. Dr. Loomis looked up at the quiet and emotionless boy staring at him.
"Michael…" He spoke. "I'm sure they missed you too."
Michael tilted his head.
"And I am 100% assure you that they, especially Judith, forgave you already." Dr. Loomis adds.
Michael wasn't so sure if he should believe the old man.
"You do believe me, do you?" He asked him.
But Michael, like always, just stayed quiet and slowly walked back to his bed, sitting down before lying down. Dr. Loomis felt awful for the boy, who he claimed to be truly evil. But he was just a troubled and scared little boy who he had met at the age of 6. Deep, deep, way deep down, he feels like that little boy is trapped inside and is crying for help. So Dr. Loomis and nurse Marion decided to let Michael sleep, they walked out of the room and Dr. Loomis quietly shut the door behind him.
I know the characters may be OOC, but please go easy on me!
