Command Center (season 1of Mighty Morphin)
Billy looked at Alpha and Zordon. He was back in the command center during his first year as a ranger.
"What can I help you with Billy?" The Robot said.
The blue ranger tried to gather the proper words he wanted to say. "I'm not who you all think."
Alpha and Zordon had a long silence trying to understand what the blue ranger had just said.
"What do you mean?" Alpha was puzzled as to what Billy meant.
"I mean I'm not from around here," Billy continued. He paused for a brief moment to try to figure out what he wanted to say next. "I'm from two years into the future. Somehow I'm moving back and forth through time."
Despite the fact that Alpha was a robot, if he were alive he would have a blank expression on his face.
Zordon thought for a moment. "Alpha, get the scanner and scan Billy. Let's see if he's correct."
"Yes Zordon," the bot complied. He moved to get a scanner nearby and started to scan the blue ranger. Within a short time after that, the scanner had stopped and Alpha looked at the readings.
"You're right, Zordon," Alpha was surprised. "Billy's temporal signature does not match with the normal signature is for everyone else."
"I thought so," Zordon simply stated. "We ran into this back over hundred and ten years ago when a time traveling Kimberly was sent back to the year eighteen eighty."
Alpha looked at the blue ranger. "Is it just traveling back and forth within the two years?"
Billy shook his head. "There were two other time periods. I know one of then I was still in Angel Grove because I was at the Youth Center. The other one I was in a city known as Reefside that had it's own power ranger." Billy paused to collect his thoughts. "But I did not know what year I was in those two time periods."
"But what could have caused you to jump to other time periods?" Zordon asked.
Billy wasn't for sure if he should mention Lord Zedd as they were only fighting Rita at this moment. He hesistated but decided to say otherwise. "I was scanning Lord Zedd's dark dimension to see if there was any way to get into it incase Lord Zedd were to trap one of us or other civilians."
"Ay, yi, yi," Alpha exclaimed. "Lord Zedd! He's here in your time period?"
Billy nodded. "Yes, he and Rita got married a year before and…" Billy paused. "I shouldn't be telling you all this. There's no need for me to tell you about future events that will come. It might change my past but your future."
"Agreed," the man from the planet Eltar said.
"So the question remains, how do I stop the time jumping altogether, and is it dangerous for with all of this time jumping."
"That remains to be seen," Alpha said. "When I scanned you, I found nothing out of the ordinary except that your temporal signature does not match with everyone else's from here."
That relieved Billy somewhat knowing that his constant time jumping wasn't damaging his body as of yet or that it may never do it. He didn't want to come out crippled, disfigured, or even dying because of the time hopping. However, if he kept it up for several more times that could change.
Still, the constant shifting back and forth through time was getting to him. One minute he's at the present time, and the next minute when he turns around he's in another time and another location. Billy had to figure out how to get himself to stop jumping back and forth.
'I need to look at your bio-scan a little more when I initiated the scan," Alpha continued. "Perhaps I can determine how to stop your time jumping and get you back to your present."
Billy smiled. "Thanks Alpha."
"In the meantime, you should not discuss with the others that you're from the future," Zordon said. "Not even your parents. You should continue to behave as if nothing has happened to you so others don't get suspicious of you."
Billy nodded and understood. A wise precaution. "Agreed and thanks for hearing me on this. I feel better now."
"As for now, you may leave the Command Center until Alpha finds out why you keep on time shifting and perhaps find a solution to your problem."
Billy nodded to both Zordon and Alpha. "That's what you two said two years from now in my present time."
The blue ranger smiled, hit his communicator, and teleported in a flash of blue out of the building.
Rita's Palace
Meanwhile, the witch and sorcerous was in her palace scheming and trying to come up with a plan to stop the rangers. Her reputation was getting tarnished each time when she lost to the power rangers who were nothing more than mere kids. She had to do something to get a win. Otherwise, Lord Zedd would find his way to her chambers and demand that she'd be cast out.
She looked at her telescope eyes the grounds of Angel Grove trying to find a reason to attack the rangers for the day. As she was looking around, she saw people in the nearby park enjoying themselves. She saw people walking, running, throwing things, rollerblading.
"Ah, those humans are such goody goodies!" She said in absolute disgust. "When it's a nice day outside, they're everywhere."
Rita looked around some more on her telescope and was alerted by it that the rangers were at the Youth Center. She looked at Jason and Zach working out while Trini was doing some meditation all the while Kimberly was on a high beam balancing herself. "That's it!"
Rita finally had a plan as to how to attack the rangers and to finally get rid of them.
"Finster! Oh Finster!" Rita cried out. She walked over from her balcony and moved to the next room to see the dog faced monster maker already sculpting some things.
Rita looked at some of the clay sculptures that were somewhat moving already. "Aw, coochie coochie coo!" She said as she patted some of the would be clay sculptures.
"Yes my queen," Finster said as he stopped what he was doing. "How can I help you."
"Finster, I need a monster," the sorcerous said.
"Ah okay," Finster said. "What kind of monster?"
"One that would take away all the rangers and everyone else's energy and make them feel useless and decrypted. They would not be able to do anything, not even stop me."
Finster nodded. "Ah yes, and without the rangers energy, they wouldn't be able to stop you much less like get up and go for a simple walk." Finster smiled at his boss. "That's perfect! And I have the best monster for the job."
Rita eyed the monster maker as he grabbed one of the clay objects he had as it moved it into the monster-matic, the machine he named that turned the clay figures into monsters. Squatt and Baboo were behind Rita from the main room looking on.
"And this won't hurt a bit," Finster said as pulled a handle. The clay object went inside the monster-matic machine. Within a few seconds later, something came out of a long tubular hose that was connected to the monster maker machine.
A creature came out that had suction cups all over it's body along with red eyes and spiked hair that seemed like it was as sharp as blades of a saw. It's fingers were long shaped suction cups as well. The monster also stood around six feet and was lightly shaded pink with some green in a few spots mixed in.
"Drainage, at your service!" The monster crackled in a deep menacing voice. "Nothing will be able to move after I am done with them, not even those pesky teenage rangers that have been a bothersome to you so far, my empress."
"Yes!" Rita exclaimed with delight.
"In order to give the energy I need to go down and go to work, I am in need of a sacrifice," the monster continued.
Rita looked around and saw a nearby putty patroller. "You, come here. Your empress needs you."
The putty walked over to Rita wondering what she wanted. Rita grabbed the putty who was then pushed over to Drainage. That cause the monster to wrap itself around the putty. Finally, the putty went from a solid gray to shriveled up lighter gray and fell to the ground helpless. It tried to stand back up but was unable to and tried to use it's hands to grab on to something but couldn't either because it was too weak.
"Ah, that's more like it!" The monster gave out a sinister laugh.
"Now go down there and get rid of those rangers for me!" Rita yelled and pointed to the Earth that was hanging in the distance.
