I'm going to try and add one to two chapters a week on this. Let me know what you all think? I love grown Angela and Jordan. I hope you do too!

Chapter Three

Everyone moved out to the backyard as the wedding ceremony began. Angela was holding onto a beer as Jordan stood next to her. They hadn't spoken any more words and she was somewhat relieved because she didn't trust herself to say the right thing. She kept glancing at him as they stood there.

Tino was dressed in a tank top and board shorts as he stood next to Rayanne. His hair was now in a mohawk and dyed a few different colors. He too was covered in tattoos and piercings, a few of them on his lips as well as ear gauges. It was odd seeing him up close because as kids he was always taking off. It was like they spent so much time trying to find him and see what he was up to.

The wedding went off without a hitch and Angela actually found herself feeling sentimental as she stood there. She wondered if she would ever find herself at the altar. Once the kiss was over, Tino and his band began to go over to the makeshift stage. It was then that Angela noticed that Jordan had walked off but then she saw him next to Tino. He was putting his guitar on as Rayanne ran over.

"Can you believe I am married!" Rayanne jumped up and down as the girls shared a hug.

"You're a beautiful bride." Angela smiled.

"I know." Rayanne laughed and then she brought her attention to the band. "Can you believe they are all going to play again like old times!"

"Yeah, that's cool." Angela watched Jordan. She forgot how amazing he looked with a guitar in his hands.

"Jordan really filled out too. His muscles have muscles." Rayanne smirked.

"Oh, I haven't noticed." Angela lied once more.

"That's because you have relationship blinders on right now." Rayanne laughed. "Check out Ricky and Corey. They seem to be hitting it off."

Angela glanced over at them as they laughed and chatted. It almost looked like they were flirting but last she knew, Corey was straight. "Is Corey…"

"Straight? Not exactly. He is bi last time I heard."

"Oh wow. Good for Ricky."

"I know right. Ricky has been dying to get a piece of that!"

"You are so bad Rayanne!"

"What? I am happy when my friends get some booty. Nothing wrong with that."

"You have issues." Angela rolled her eyes.

"And you clearly need more to drink." Rayanne grinned. "Let me get you something while we wait on the food."

Angela watched her walk off and then she brought her attention back to Jordan. He was tuning his guitar.

"Mic check. One, two." Tino spoke as everyone got quiet. "I dedicate this song to my new bride. Baby this is for you!" The song began. It was a cover of Buffalo Tom's, Late at night. They used to play this back in the early band days.

Angela couldn't help but smile as more memories flooded her.

Eight and a half years ago…

"Man, where is Tino! He calls for band practice and doesn't even show up!" Shane the drummer huffed.

"I can try and call him, again." Rayanne walked off as Angela sat to the side of the makeshift stage. She loved watching Jordan strum his guitar.

"You should wipe the drool." Ricky smirked and Angela turned red.

"What? I am not drooling."

Ricky rolled his eyes. "Just admit it Ang, you got it bad."

"You are crazy. I am just here to watch them play just like you are." Jordan had become her dirty little secret. They had officially hung out three times and she was already looking forward to more. They hadn't done much except kiss but damn could that boy kiss!

"You still have that same look after all this time." Ricky snapped her out of her staring as she looked at him with wide eyes. "Don't worry your secret is safe with me."

"What secret?" She swallowed hard.

"Come on now girl. You can't lie to me. I know too much." He raised an eyebrow as Angela looked around nervously. She didn't want anyone to hear, especially Rayanne. "I don't know why you just don't tell her. I mean it's obvious that something was and is going on with you and Jordan."

"No, it's not. I will let you know that I am happily taken." Angela forced a smile.

Ricky sighed. "I feel like this is dejavu."

"Ok so maybe something happened a very long time ago but that's in the past."

"Are you sure about that?" He raised an eyebrow and then looked towards the stage. When she followed his stare, she saw Jordan looking at her with his intense blue eyes as he played guitar. It was like he was eye fucking her from the stage. She turned even redder and looked back at Ricky.

"Don't tell anyone, ok."

"My lips are sealed." He smirked and she looked back at Jordan. He was still staring at her. She felt the temperature in the room spike. Was no one else noticing this?

"God, I love when they play!" Rayanne came up next to her and Angela swallowed hard.

The band played two more songs and Angela was literally gushing like when she was younger. The food came during the middle of the songs, and she waited till they were done before she made herself a plate. It was a buffet of all kinds of bar food.

"Just like Tino to have pizza bagels on the menu for his wedding." Jordan walked up next to her.

"I feel like we're teenagers all over again." She swallowed hard as she piled food on her plate and so did he. They made their way down the buffet line.

"Tino will never grow up, that I know for sure."

"They seem happy though."

"Yeah, I guess if you are into that kind of thing."

"What kind of thing?" She tried not to look at him because he was currently standing next to her shirtless and his body was to die for. She could smell the sweat coming off him, but it only turned her on more.

"Marriage and whatnot."

"Oh, you um, don't believe in marriage?"

"Nah. I'm not into the whole idea of marriage thing."

"Oh, so what do you believe in?" She couldn't help how her heart sank. He didn't believe in marriage at all. In all reality, it sort of made sense considering his life choices.

"Life is too short to make a contract with another person and vow your life to them, ya know?" He seemed so relaxed with the way he spoke, and she was sort of jealous of his personal freedom. "Let me guess, you dream of a church wedding and all that other bullshit."

She hated that he just assumed things of her even if it was right. "No. I don't think that way at all." She lied.

"Really?" He looked at her surprised. "So, what do you believe in?"

"I mean I am not against marriage if two people agree to it."

"Do you want to get married?" He raised an eyebrow.

"Ang is too busy breaking hearts to get married!" Rayanne laughed as she interrupted them and then leaned between them and grabbed a chicken wing. "Ang has commitment issues."

"No, I don't. I mean, not entirely." Angela felt her face flush. Rayanne was always embarrassing her and even though she meant no harm in it, well she did it often. Even when they were teenagers Rayanne was always spouting out secrets that Angela would tell her, hence why she kept the whole Jordan thing a secret.

"Liar." Rayanne laughed and then looked at Jordan. "Ang is dating this lawyer and already looking for a way out."

Angela wanted to die right then and there.

"A lawyer, huh?" Jordan smirked.

"Uh huh. Paul, right?" Rayanne grinned.

"Pierce and I am not trying to break up with him." Angela rolled her eyes.

"I could use a new lawyer for my business, maybe I could give him a call."

"What is it that you do exactly with self-help? Ang and I were trying to figure out if you give motivational speeches or…" She laughed.

If Angela had a rock to hide under, she would have.

"My business, huh?" He smirked as he looked at Angela.

"It's really none of our business what you do." Angela interjected.

"Saint Angela to the rescue." Rayanne laughed and then she yelled over to Tino and ran to him. Angela couldn't have been happier for Rayanne to get distracted.

"Saint Angela?" Jordan looked amused.

She swallowed hard. "I didn't um tell her about your business."

"Well good cause you did sign an NDA."

"I wouldn't have anyway. I mean it's your own personal business but how come you haven't told anyone?"

"I don't know. I mean it's not like I feel that I would be judged. I mean I am sure that half of these people would be interested in checking it out." He smirked. "Not you of course."

She blinked in shock. "Why does everyone think that I am like some kind of innocent chick." She hated that he thought of her that way.

"So, you are interested?" He looked surprised.

The next few words she spoke before even speaking. "Yeah of course, why not? It's just a club." She tried to be nonchalant.

"I just wouldn't have thought you would be the type. Interesting." He grinned and she felt her face flush. "Cool."

"Cool." She shrugged her shoulders and then shoved food quickly into her mouth. She honestly needed to stop talking right now.

"So, your uh, boyfriend. The lawyer, you two. Ya know? Live the lifestyle?"

She nearly choked on her food. Pierce would a hundred percent not be ok with that kind of lifestyle. Hell, they had the most basic sex ever. Suddenly she heard Rayanne's words in her head. He sucks in bed, huh?

"I'm sorry, what?" She looked at Jordan.

"Never mind. It doesn't matter."

"It doesn't?" She hated how final his answer was.

"Hey Jordan get your ass over here!" Tino called out to him.

"I should see what he wants." He walked away from her, and she sighed as she bit into a chicken wing.

"You know you should just tell him how you feel." Ricky startled her as he came over.

"Trust me there is nothing to feel. I am totally over Jordan." She lied once more.

"Uh huh, just like I am over Corey." He smirked.

Angela finished off her food and another beer. She texted Pierce to let him know how the wedding was going. She felt incredibly alone at the wedding. It seemed like everyone there had someone but her. She made her way inside to find some peace and quiet. Jordan had disappeared with Tino like always. She hated that Ricky was right, was she still hung up on Jordan? Hell, she barely knew him anymore, not that she knew him when they were kids either but now, he was really different. She decided to hide out in the bathroom away from everyone but as she neared it the door opened, and she nearly banged into him.

She stumbled back and he grabbed her arm to steady her. "You never could handle your alcohol, Red."

"I'm not drunk." She huffed and his hand lingered on her arm.

"So, um." He licked his lips, and she couldn't help but stare at those kissable lips. "Are you planning on doing that article on my club?"

"Yeah, definitely." She swallowed hard. "I can stop by when I get back into town."

"Sounds good." He stepped closer to her. His hand was still on her arm. He trailed it up slowly and she sucked in a deep breath. His fingertips left tiny trails of fire in their wake. He stepped closer and she backed up until her back hit the wall.

"Ok. Um." She couldn't find any words.

He bit his bottom lip and grinned devilishly. "Alright. I should get back out there before Tino comes looking for me."

"Ok." She stared up into those blue eyes.

"That really is one hell of a dress, Red." He removed his hand from her arm and then walked off as she stood there. She finally released the breath she had been holding.

Angela finally headed back outside once the band began another song. The place literally resembled a concert. The darker it got outside the more she drank. Within a few hours, she was drunk and stumbling around like the majority of the people there. Music was playing through the speakers as everyone began to slow dance. People pared off and she began to make her way back inside. She was over tonight and now all she wanted to do was pass out in bed. Staying outside would only depress her further.

Tomorrow she would be heading back to her normal life in New York City. Once she finished the interview with Jordan, she was going to keep him in the past where he belonged.

She opened up the guest bedroom door and then she heard his seductive voice.

"Calling it a night already, Red?"

She turned and faced him. "It's late. I have to get on the road early" Her eyes drifted over his bare chest. He was insanely gorgeous and even more so with all those tattoos covering his body. Nine years ago, he had none, not even an ear pierced and now he had both nipples and then one below. Her body began to overheat as he neared her.

"Not even one last beer for old times' sake." He held up his drink and she swallowed hard.

"Ok." Her voice was just above a whisper. He moved past her and walked in the bedroom. Her heart was racing so hard she could hear it in her ears.
