Power Chamber (turbo season)

The five turbo rangers and Billy had materialized in the Power Chamber. The alarm was going off. Alpha 6 was moving from one console to another walking frantically like it was the end of the world to him.

"What's going on?" Carlos asked as he eyed Dimitria.

"There are multiple disturbances around Angle Grove," the mentor said from her plasma tube.

"A-yo, it's a catasta-stroke!" Alpha added. "Divatox has unleashed an army in different locations."

Ashley shook her head. She knew this was going to happen since they were down one ranger. It was almost like clockwork with Divatox. The villain could be predicable when she wanted to be.

"I knew this would happen," the yellow ranger lamented. "She knew we were down one ranger, and now she wants to take advantage of that.

Indeed Divatox did take advantage of the situation. The villain was smart, cunning, and never did the same thing as it would be predicable and her plans would always be thwarted by the rangers before the plan was even executed. From the first turbo team and some of the things the villain tried such as shrinking the rangers to the new team and taking control of the turbo megazord and putting the Phantom Ranger's life on the line by using his ruby that powered his suit for her needs. But Divatox had to be cunning. She knew at some point one of her schemes would get the best of the rangers. She just wasn't for sure what it was despite the fact she hated being defeated by the rangers from the first team to the new team.

TJ glared at Alpha. "Alpha, put the disturbances on screen."

"You got it, TJ," Alpha obeyed the red ranger's instructions.

The first image was that of the monster Oxton at the lake where he was destroying everything on the beach. He swung his hammer around and knocked over a tower where the lifeguards would sit and monitor the lake in case of something happening. Part of the lifeguard tower came down in pieces while some of it was still holding on.

The monster laughed at the destruction. He then eyed several people screaming and running away. The sharp horns he had shot a power beam at the people as they continued to run away in terror. The beams from the horns hit the ground where the people were scrambling, more of the monster showing his power to them and toying with the humans instead of killing them.

Oxton hit his chest and howled in delight knowing the mayhem and the unpleasantness the monster was causing for the people at the beach.

"We have to knock that guy out of commission," Carlos said as he shook his head and looked at the red ranger.

TJ nodded. "Agreed."

"Alpha, show the next disturbance," Dimitria instructed.

The next image showed the piranhatrons at the park messing with people as they ran away in terror. One of the piranhatrons started destroying a nearby picnic table as part of orders since Divatox wanted them to cause problems for the people at the park.

Justin and Cassie looked at each other as both rangers sighed. Billy kept silent since he did not know that much about these footsoldiers. But like the putties and tengas, the piranhatrons were causing equally amount of problems as any other footsoldier would do regardless of who they were working for.

"Going to the next disturbance," Alpha said as he tapped a few buttons at the console he was working on.

The next image on the viewing globe showed Elgar with a small army of piranhatrons in the city. Elgar was using his sword and damaging and destroying various things in the downtown area. He used his sword to destroy a mail box while the piranhatrons started breaking store windows. Elgar laughed at the destruction he was causing.

The green ranger twitched with anger. "We need to send Elgar back to Divatox's space base, one way ticket there."

Cassie nodded. "More like send him to the depths of space so he can't return."

"Alpha," Justin began, "any other disturbances in Angel Grove?"

"A-yo, just one more little boy blue," Alpha said as he tapped another button. "Observe the viewing globe."

The image changed from Elgar in the city to that of Rygog and a squad of piranhatrons at the high school. Various teachers, support staff, and kids were running away from the monsters. Two people the rangers noticed that were running away were the principle of the school, Mr. Caplan, and one of the teachers, Mrs. Appleby.

Mrs. Appleby lost her footing and went down. Mr. Caplan grabbed the teacher and helped her back up. "Come on, Mrs. Appleby. We have to get out of here."

"Where are the power rangers at?" Mrs. Appleby questioned. "We need them now."

Rygog overheard Mrs. Appleby cry out for the rangers. "The rangers aren't going to come to your defense humans! Run away like the scared pathetic children you are!" Rygog then started laughing for his amusement.

The viewing globe stopped showing the image as the rangers all turned to each other and looked at Dimitria.

"I've never seen them do this before," Ashley said as a matter of fact. She had never sent various monsters at different locations before in order to draw out the rangers.

TJ looked at Billy. "Do you think you can help us out, Billy?"

Billy nodded but then realized something. He wrapped his right hand to the back of him wondering if his morpher was there. It was. He pulled the morpher around and saw the wolf ninja power intact. "Okay this is weird."

The other rangers also looked at the original blue ranger and his morpher eyeing both at the same time surprised at his morpher still with him.

"I thought the ninja power coins were destroyed?" Justin was the one from the turbo team to speak out from the observation he made.

Billy continued to eye the power coin. "I don't understand this either. Looking over the history earlier, it said the power coins were destroyed by Rita and Zedd, but this coin is still intact."

"Perhaps because you have time traveled and haven't experience those events like the Billy from this time period experienced," Dimitria's observation was one that sounded real and accurate despite the fact that this was all knew to her and to the rangers.

"I hate time travel," Billy sighed.

TJ turned his attention to the task at hand as any leader would. "Carlos, get down to the high school and take on Rygog. Ashley, get down to the park and take on the piranhatrons."

Ashley nodded at TJ's orders.

The red ranger turned to Cassie. "Cassie, you and Billy get down to the city and take on Elgar. And I will take on the monster at the lake."

Cassie nodded in agreement with TJ's instructions. However, Billy did not.

"No," Billy had a different tactic than what TJ wanted him to do. "I'll come with you. That monster looks pretty fierce, and no offence even though I've never seen you all fight off a monster before, I don't think you could take on a monster like that alone. Jason and Tommy wouldn't be able to either and would some help."

Billy's words sunk in the red ranger's head. Billy was right. Despite the fact that TJ thought he could take on the monster by himself, the truth was that he probably would have a hard time. The monster looked fierce and tough to fight one on one. It would be a battle TJ might lose just because he thought he could be able to go at it.

Billy could also sense that TJ would agree with his assessment of the situation. Afterall, who would know about monster attacks and how to deal with them then the one of the first power rangers.

"Alright, you're with me," TJ was in agreement.

Billy tuned to the pink ranger. "Cassie, you think you can handle Elgar?"

Cassie knew Elgar was not hard. He had gotten lucky with putting Justin out by getting his arm, but the monster and proved time and again he was no match with a ranger that was fully suited. "I can handle him." The pink ranger showed a high level of confidence.

"Then let's morph and get to work," Billy was displaying his seasoned ranger presence with the turbo rangers as he looked at the four.

"I'll be right here cheering for you guys on the sidelines," Justin wanted to be there to help out his friends but couldn't because of his injury. This somewhat felt the same when he took over for Rocky when he was injured, and now he's hurt and another ranger was taking over his duties, although it was only temporary.

TJ and Billy looked at each other. TJ nodded at Billy to take the lead. It only seemed fair.

"It's morphing time!" The blue ranger called out. "Blue ranger power!"

"Shift into turbo!" TJ said. The four turbo rangers got into their suits as well as the blue mighty morphin ranger, and a flash blue, pink, red, yellow, and green light disappeared from the power chamber.

Justin looked at his injured arm, then his morpher, and then at Alpha and then at Dimitria saddened he was being left behind for the first time as a power ranger. "Good luck guys."
