From episode 4 in season 2 "Lancelot and Guinevere"
The scene where Arthur and Merlin is fleeing from the citadel og Camelot and have to get past the guards.
I got the idea stuck in my head, as the scene got mixed with the one from the lion king.
I do not own Merlin, all rights goes to BBC
Arthur and Merlin eyes the guards, when Arthur starts to sneak away while speaking in a hushed voice.
"… you distract them"
Merlin frowns before asking, as he hadn't really been listening.
"Distract them, how?"
Arthur was already out of sight, as he answers.
"You'll think of something"
Merlin blinks, clearly not amused.
"Like what, dress in drag and do the hula?"
He turned to look at Arthur only to realise he had left. Letting out a small groan, his eyes landed on a wagon of straw. An idea forms in his head, it might work, or not, but it was now or never. He made up his mind and reached out towards the wagon.
He jumped out from behind the wagon, yelling:
"Luau!"
Only to make the guards turn and stare in horror, as Merlin tripped over a rope, letting loose a bunch of barrelse, which knocked the guards down, leaving them out cold. The young warlock in question groans, as he sits up, staring at the scene.
Arthur gaped at the sight in front of him, as he returned.
"I said distract them, not knock them out"
The blond then turned to look at Merlin, only to furrow his brows together in confusion.
"… and why are you wearing a skirt of straw?"
Merlin placed his hands on his hips, looking at the blond and letting out a sigh.
"There's just no pleacing you sometimes"
