Chapter 1: The Start

Welcome readers to the first Chapter of Naruto The Blood Fox. I did have another fanfic called Sage's Path but that's when I first started writing and the story wasn't very good so this is new better fanfic. This Fancfic will be NaruX? I haven't decided who the ship will be yet, I will probably be publishing 1 chapter at a time and I'll try to make each chapter around 2k words long. But Without further adieu let's get on with the story.
(sorry it's not 2k words buts 1780 hope it is close enough)
(Flash Back) One day after the defeat of Shukaku. (The One Tails)
Naruto Uzumaki is sitting by the window thinking about the village and all who had tormented him for his entire life, his hatred for the village had slowly been growing but was at a breaking point, When he defeated The One Tails Everyone praised Sasuke and called him the village hero and even called him a future Hokage. This Infuriated Naruto who had defeated The One Tail, everything he ever did was for the village, he did at least 300 d-ranks and defeated The One Tail and yet nobody even cared, everyone just praised Sasuke. Naruto was jealous, Sasuke had everything he had supporters, Sakura, The council, and everyone was always Sasuke this and Sasuke that. Naruto clenched his fist so hard that he felt his fingernail digging into his skin and flesh but he was too enraged to feel pain, warm blood began to drip from his hand onto the floor as he slammed his bloody fist into the windowsill "DAMMIT!" Naruto screamed. He began to realize that he would never earn the village's respect, sure he could become the most powerful shinobi in the village but that wouldn't earn anyone's respect that would just earn him more fear. He could never become Hokage. Then the dam broke as tears began to fall from Naruto's sapphire blue eyes. That was the moment he realized his dream was dead.
Meanwhile
Kakashi Hatake woke up at an ungodly hour and heard a commotion outside. He checked out his window to see Sasuke getting beaten by 4 shadows, Kakashi immediately jumped out the window. Tayuya was about punch Sasuke again. Right before she heard the chirping of a thousand birds, she felt the electricity dig into her neck before she could even react, she was decapitated. Her head flew through the air it landed on the ground with a thump. The other 3 looked surprised they saw Kakashi Hatake, His red Sharingan blazing against the darkness. "Hey get out of our way or die''Jirbo said in a confident manner "FOOL" Kidomaru yelled at Jirobo "this isn't an ordinary opponent, this is the copy ninja Kakashi Hatake," Kidomaru spoke "Well we just activate our cursed seal and kill him" Jirobo stated "that would attract too much attention and other shinobi would arrive, we may be strong but we can't take out an entire village' Kidomaru stated, "Then what are we supposed to do?" Sakon asked angrily "this mission has failed" Kidomaru stated "well we can't leave Orochimaru without a vessel" Ukon yelled "we're gonna have to try next time" Kidomaru stated "fine," Sakon said. All three of the remaining sound four, body flickered away. Kakashi was relieved that he didn't have to fight at this hour and decided to take the unconscious Sasuke to the hospital and go back to bed.
Naruto had decided this was it he packed his things and wrote a note, he walked out of his home to the village gate where he saw Sakura sitting on a bench. She was expecting Sasuke but when she saw Naruto, she was surprised "Naruto What are you doing here? She asked with a mix of curiosity and worry in her voice "Sakura just go home" he said coldly as he continued towards the gate, she was surprised again she had never seen this side of Naruto he was cold and cruel like Sasuke but this was worse she could feel the hatred oozing out of every word he said. "Naruto don't leave!" she cried out as tears threaten to fall from her eyes, Naruto looked at back her with his Sapphire blue eyes now blood red with black verticle slits going down the middle, "I said go home" Naruto stated while expelling a massive amount of killing intent, Sakura immediately froze and fell unconscious the last word she would her from Naruto was "pathetic" before she fell unconscious.
The Next Morning
"WHAT!" Tsunade screamed while punching the desk in half, Tsunade was shocked Why would you abandon this village Tsunade thought to herself no no he must have been under genjutsu there's no way that Naruto would leave' Tsunade continued to think to herself. Kakashi was shaken but tried I'm sorry Minato-sensei it seems I have failed you again Kakashi thought. Sakura slammed her fist into the ground "DAMMIT IF I ONLY I HAD BE STRONGER" Sakura screamed in sorrow as she fell to the ground as tears began to fall from her eyes "If only I had been an actual friend, maybe he would still be here" She said out loud to herself. Sasuke was pissed first he gets his fricked up by Orochimaru's pawns now Naruto had left can this week get any worse he thought to himself I thought that idiot wanted to become Hokage, Ima beat him bad and drag him too back to his village Sasuke thought to himself as he laid in the hospital bed. When Jiraya heard of Naruto's defection he immediately left and didn't plan on coming back. Hinata was devastated, she felt anger and hatred for the first time, she was angry at the village, angry at her family. She now resented the village for making him leave and she would also go on her own journey.
(Flashback end)
A week after Naruto's defection
Naruto was on a Journey to become the strongest Ninja in the world. But he would need to gain power, he and Jiraya were camping about a mile away from the border with River country. Jiraya-sensei can you teach me a new Jutsu? Jiraya smiled at the redhead Ninja and spoke "well since you already mastered the Rasengan I think I can teach you a very powerful Jutsu, come here" Naruto nodded and arrived right next to Jiraya "REVERSE SUMMONING JUSTU!" Jiraya yelled as in a POOF of smoke they arrived in a colorful place. Wow, what is this place?" Naruto asked excitedly "This is Mt Myoboku, and the place I will teach you Sage mode," Jiraya said with a smirk "Wow but what's Sage mode," Naruto asked curiously "you'll see after training" Jiraya stated.
Three years later after Narutos defection
Naruto Uzumaki was now 16 he had mastered Sage mode and completed the Rasengan. He wore a black jacket with lime green lines running down his torso and on the side of his arms. The Uzumaki swirl was on his back with the same lime green color, he wore his old academy googles with his blood red hair staying mostly the same, his pants were black with the lime green running down the sides and with several pouches for storage of Ninja weapons. Naruto had trained relentlessly for the past three years he woke at six am and did a 100km run then 10000 pushups with gravity seals, After that he would learn a new Jutsu. He managed to create a few Jutsu of his own first being the flash step, something Minato was working on before his death, Jiraya had shown him the half-completed scroll and Naruto used the info to finish it, The Jutsu worked by pumping lightning chakra to a users legs and using said lighting chakra in powerful burst to go very fast in a short-medium range. Jiraya hasn't told Naruto about his father nor Mother but when Naruto mastered this next Ability he was sure that Naruto would be ready. "Naruto I have a Jutsu only you can use," Jiraya said calmly "Oh?" Naruto questioned curiously "Only people with titanic chakra reserves can use this Jutsu," Jiraya said, "What is this Jutsu?" Naruto questioned, his curiosity growing even further "Perfect Sage Mode" Jiraya stated "I already have Sage Mode down" Naruto replied back, with his curiosity fading "Naruto, your Sage mode is imperfect, you see regular Sage mode is you using Nature energy" Jiraya said, getting a nod from Naruto "Well Perfect Sage mode is mixing your own chakra with Nature energy, This grants the user even more power plus a chakra cloak" Jiraya continued "Chakra cloak?" Naruto asked, while his curiosity peaked "The chakra cloak is a Chakra shaped into a cloak around the user's body increasing speed, strength, sensing, and durability and it looks really cool" Jiraya responded, "how can I learn this ability?" Naruto asked. "Well since you already have regular Sage mode down, it should take around 4 months of training to get the basics and another month to get finally have full control, at least that's how long it took me" Jiraya finished "hmmm, ok let's give it a try" Naruto responded.
Three and half Months later
"Wow you are a full month and a half faster than me, looking at your chakra reserves you could last about an hour in that cloak before chakra exhaustion but with further training, you could last 5 hours," Jiraya stated, Naruto's cloak glowed a brilliant blue, he had the kanji for Sage on the back of his cloak and his eyes were a shining like diamonds with a black horizontal slit running down the middle. His pants and jacket glowed a bright blue while the ladder was covered by the cloak, and his normal blood-red hair glowed a shining blue. His regeneration grew so powerful that he could easily regenerate limbs in seconds. Even the lifelong scars he had from beatings regenerated in minutes while and injuries he suffered immediately healed.
Meanwhile In Naruto's MindScape
Kurama sensed an aura he hadn't felt since his father's son Ashura. What is this? Kurma thought to himself. He had always liked Ashura over Indra, he and Ashura had a brother-like friendship but when Ashura and Hagaromo died. Kurama had nobody his tailed beast brothers left to far-off lands. He had never liked Indra. Indra always seemed to try to use him for his power but Kurma never budged. Could he be the one? Kurama thought to himself.
