Chapter 2: The Akatsuki Attacks
This took me way too long to write I had to rewrite this four times it was a pain but hope you enjoy it.
"Naruto I need to tell you something," Jiraya said, "what is it sensei?" Naruto asked "it's about your parents" Jiraya stated, Naruto was shocked he was told his parents died during the Nine tails attack and that were great heroes, or at least that's what the third had told him "what do you pervy sage?" Naruto asked in a confused tone. "I mean I'm going to tell you who they were," Jiraya said calmly Naruto was excited, after all these years he would know the truth. "So who were they?" Naruto questioned, the excitement clear in his voice, Jiraya sighed and spoke "They were Minato Namikaze and Kunshina Uzumaki" Naruto was shocked and angry. He has always wondered why the fourth choose him as the jinchuriki and now knowing that his father chose him just added fuel to the fire. Naruto broke down in tears unable to process what he heard his father was the fourth, his mother he didn't have a clue but Kunshina, he didn't know who she was.
"Who is Kushina," he asked while sucking the snot back into his nose "She was the previous jinchuriki of the Nine tails" Jiraya replied, Naruto wiped his eyes, "whatt?" he questioned. Jiraya proceeded to explain the events of that night. Naruto was looking at the ground thinking about everything. All that he had done, Abandoning the Village, but then it came to him. "Jiraya-sensei doesn't that mean I get the Hirashin since I'm his son?" Naruto asked "Yes, but since you left the leaf it means that you are a missing-nin if you tried to even enter the village you would get attacked" Jiraya stated "Well Jiraya-sensei, I think I have finished my training here at Mt Myoboku, Ima get going," Naruto said, "Well where you going?" Jiraya asked "I'll just travel around the world and maybe learn a few tricks here and there" The Redhead replied "Goodbye Naruto" "Goodbye Pervy sage" Naruto replied as he turned into a poof of smoke.
Known Location
"Itachi and Kisame you will go capture and transport the jinchuriki here, do you understand?" "yes, Leader-sama" they both responded "good" he replied as both Itachi and Kisame disappeared in body flicker.
Naruto was traveling to Konoha he decided that he would make his father proud. When he sensed two figures of chakra approaching rapidly Akatsuki Naruto thought to himself. The two figures landed on the next tree branch a good 10 meters away. Naruto knew that this wouldn't be an easy fight "who are you guys" The Redhead questioned, Kisame chuckled and said "Just hand yourself over kid your no match for us" Naruto just smirked, "Oh really is that so?" The Jinchuriki replied. Kisame blitzed Naruto and attempted to slam his sword right on top of Naruto who backflipped and dodged the attack, "Water Style: Riding wave" Kisme yelled as a massive tsunami-like wave rose from under him now Kisame was standing atop the wave, he pointed his finger to the direction Naruto's position, the wave rushed towards Naruto intending on swallowing him "Earth Style: Earth wall!" Naruto yelled as a massive chunk of earth rose from the ground. Naruto was surprised to see Kisame on his left still riding the wave, with a smirk on his face, The wave of water continued to rush towards Naruto swallowing trees uprooting them, and causing overall destruction throughout the area. "Shadow clone Jutsu!" A bunch of Narutos swarmed the area "ATTACK!" he ordered as his clones began to rush The shark Ninja, most of the clones just got swallowed by the miniature tsunami and dispelled and the few that did manage to get Kisme had their chakra absorbed and dispelled by Samehada. After a little while, Kisame's jutsu dispelled.
Ten minutes earlier Konoha (Village Hidden in the leaves)
Strange sounds are heard in the North like Water crashing through the trees and clones dispelling something isn't right Kotetsu thought to himself, but it only got louder and worse. "Hey Izumo I think we should report to the Hokage, something strange is going on here" Izumo nodded and body flickered away.
Hokage's office
"So you're telling me that strange noises are coming from the forest near our village?" "Yes Hokage-sama" Izumo replied "I'll send a chunin, special jonin and jonin to investigate" Tsunade replied "now LEAVE" She continued "Izumo nodded and disappeared "ANBU!" she yelled as two Anbu appeared in the room in front of Tsunade and her desk "Go get me "Sasuke, Sakura, and Kakashi NOW" she instructed as both Anbu nodded and disappeared. Tsunade slumped back into her chair and sighed while pulling out a bottle of sake from under her desk being Hokage is tiring she thought to herself as she poured a massive amount of sake into her "best Hokage ever" mug.
Five minutes later
Sakura, Sasuke, and Kakashi were all standing in front of an obviously -drunk Tsunade
"yOu GuYs nEed tO InVeSTigAte sOme weird sounds coming from the North NOW" she ordered. Kakashi was amused seeing the Hokage drunk and the smell of sake running through the air. Sakura was mad at Tsunade for being drunk and giving missions at the same, does she have any decency? Sakura thought to herself. Sasuke didn't care all he heard was the mission to be completed.
Meanwhile somewhere North of Konoha
Naruto sped through hands sighs and slammed his hand on the ground "Blaze release Hell's tornado" The redhead yelled as a Large burning orange tornado appeared, It was the perfect combination of Naruto's two primary elements Fire and Wind. it spun forward towards the Shark Ninja who dodged to the side, the blazing hot tornado stopped and changed direction to attack Kisame again, "Water Style: Hydro Pump" Kisame yelled a ball of water grew on his hand like a glove but then shrunk, he used his chakra to pressurize the water and shot it out like a beam at the base of the tornado. The Highly pressurized water came in contact, and steam erupted out of the tornado and was spread by the wind, the entire area was engulfed by steam and looked something similar to the Kirigakure, the steam so thick that it made sight for the regular eye almost impossible but Itachi could see through the mist with his three tomoe Sharingan. Kisame had years of experience fighting through thick mists during the time he was a shinobi of Kiri.
Mt Myoboku
Four out of ten of Naruto's shadow clones dispelled transferring the nature chakra to him. So the boy is in battle Fukasaku thought to himself.
Somewhere North of Konoha but near Konoha
Naruto gained an orange pigmentation around his eyes and his eyes changed from the regular sapphire blue to a fiery orange with a large black slit running horizontally there the middle. I probably shouldn't reveal my trump cards yet Naruto thought to himself, now he could sense Itachi and Kisame but he sensed three others Sakura, Sasuke, and Kakashi he thought to himself. Naruto decided to finish this quickly he rose one hand in the air as he began to focus, and a Massive Rasengan formed then quickly set ablaze turning into a miniature sun, and then the wind began to swirl around the construct like a tornado. "Blaze Release: Hell's Rasengan" Naruto stated but right as he was about the throw the Rasengan he heard a quiet voice "Tsukuyomi" Itachi stated. Before He could even react, Naruto found himself in a new world, a world with a blood-red moon he looked around but he was tied to a wooden post and he saw Itachi with a sword in his cloak ready to stab.
An Hour Later in Itachi's Tsukuyomi dimension
Naruto was in pain from all the stabs it was starting to break him. This is just an illusion you will suffer no pain Naruto thought to himself as he felt the cold steel pierce his left arm as the blade dug into his skin and flesh cutting blood vessels and muscles alike causing him to wince in pain, "Just because its an illusion doesn't mean the pain is any less real" Itachi stated. Naruto was in his mindscape he sat at the base of a large gate with a sticker with the kanji for seal written on it "hey fox can you break or reverse this Jutsu?" Naruto asked nonchalantly, Kurama didn't respond "oh cmon man I'll give you some ramen". Kurama had also enjoyed the Ramen Naruto ate, Whatever Naruto ate would usually appear in front of Kurama and is multiplied in portion by one hundred.
He could draw on small bits of Naruto's chakra to form these types of things and he always enjoyed ramen which was the only thing he missed from Konoha. "Fine" The Ninetailed Furball stated "Thanks man" Naruto replied before disappearing. Kurama was shocked that was the third human to ever thank him other than his father and Ashura.
Back in Itachi's dimension
Itachi felt a demonic aura emitting off of Naruto as red hate-filled chakra swirled throughout the area Itachi could feel his own chakra and power vanishing he tried to repress this new chakra but to no eval, soon in a flash he swapped places with Naruto and his sword disappeared "No no that's impossible" Itachi said "That jutsu is unbreakable and unreversible its the perfect genjutsu" He continued Naruto merely smirked "Anything is possible" He replied as Naruto took his sword and jabbed it into Itachi's chest.
After two days in what's now Naruto's dimension
"Congrats you made it" Naruto spoke, Itachi was in unbearable pain and on the brink of unconsciousness.
In the real world Naruto found himself still holding the Rasengan he looked at the Kisame and Itachi, and he saw Itachi panting on the ground suffering from chakra exhaustion, and Kisame holding him. He threw his Rasengan at the duo Kisme took out Samehada in a last-ditch attempt to cancel out the Jutsu Samehada ate the charka but then suddenly started to turn to stone. Samehada began to scream out in pain his more of it's body turned to stone, Kisame looked confused what's happening, what the hell happened to Samehada who is this kid? Kisame thought to himself as Samehada completed it's transformation into a statue. Naruto appeared in front of Itachi who was unable to defend himself due to his physical and chakra exhaustion, Naruto spun around and kicked Itachi in the face directly sending him into a tree and knocking him out. He blitzed towards and began a match of fierce taijutsu Kisame throught a left hook which Naruto ducked under a right hook and attempted to leg sweep the shark ninja who jumped over the sweep, "Water release: Water bullets" he yelled as he began to shoot out bullets of water from his mouth, much to Kisame's delight a hit Naruto with one of the bullets but soon turned to a log and Naruto approached from behind intending on finishing him off but Kisame managed to predict the maneuver and countered with a round to Naruto's gut which landed clean and he crashed against a tree Naruto got up and wiping his mouth which was slightly bloody "Looks like you finally landed a hit" Naruto praised mockingly "Kisame was impressed but didn't like the comment".
Kakashi, Sasuke, and Sakura arrived at the scene what they saw was horrifying to see the least. An entire area was completely deforested and destroyed a few trees were on fire there was a slight mist that surrounded the area, Sasuke's eyes widened when they saw a seemingly dead Itachi sitting at the base of one of the few remaining trees in the area, he was shocked that someone managed to defeat Itachi but angry because this someone had taken his revenge away from him but at least Itachi was dead.
That's when they all noticed a certain redhead that had been missing for almost three and a half years fighting Kisame Hoshigaki
also known as the monster of the hidden mist and the tailless tails beast. He looked pretty beat with some burn and cut marks plus some bruises. "Narutoo-o" Sakura stuttered oh great they're here Naruto thought to himself. He defeated Itachi while also fighting Kisame how strong is he? Kakashi thought to himself, Kisame decided that he couldn't take on Naruto and now with Konoha in the mix he couldn't win, he took Itachi and body flickered out of there leaving Naruto and Team 7 behind. "Hello guys," Naruto said nonchalantly "Naruto why did you leave us" Sakura questioned, "I was actually on my way to return to Konoha".
