Chapter 2 "Secrets of Dr. Wu"
It was the next day of camp Noah was angry his bed was taken by Crash. He went up to Crash "Come on man you can't just call dibs on my bed man." Noah said.
"It was never yours dude." Crash said, without a care.
"What are you serious?" Noah asked.
"Come on campers we're going to a remote genetics labs!" Roxie said.
"You what Crash? You're a jerk bag. That's what you are you're a jerk bag!" Noah insulted Crash.
Crash turned around very angered "Wanna try saying that to me face?" he asked.
"Wow let's not get crazy we're going to a labs." Noah said.
"You brought the crazy." Crash said.
"Uh think this is going to go bad?" Ben asked.
"They'll chill out in twelve seconds." Summer said.
Twelve seconds later.
Noah and Crash tore the place up "Let's play catch I'll throw you catch with your face!" Crash violently said.
"Twelve seconds?" Ben reminded Summer.
"Maybe longer?" She nervously said.
The fight got worse when Crash pinned Noah to the floor and Dave and Roxie came by and the two boys watched "It's his fault!" Noah and Crash blamed each other.
As punishment for their fight Noah and Crash were forced to clean up dino poop "That's one big pile of garbage." Summer said.
The girls and Ben went to the genetics labs Summer was reading comments Sammy was excited. Ben was humming while rubbing something over his entire body he turned to see Yaz was confused of what he's rubbing.
"Sanitizer." Ben said.
"Who knows what kind of creepy dino goo is at that lab? Gotta be ready for anything. The world is a grab-bag of gross, and we're all just along for the moist, sticky roller, coaster ride called life." Ben said.
Yaz just had thoughts but she just grabbed the sanitizer and began rubbing it over her hands.
They arrived at the labs "Good day YouTubers today, I'm coming to you from one of the Jurassic World's remote genetics labs!" Summer said.
"I hope we get to see a baby dino video someday." Sammy said.
"It would be so cute." Summer said.
Everyone entered the labs everyone looked in awe "It's so shiny in here!" Sammy said.
"I kinda wish they go for red, yellow, and black colors like Jurassic Park." Summer said.
"This is a rare window into the park's inner workings. Not just anyone can come here, you know." Roxie said.
"Yep, this is where the magic happens." Dave said.
He turned to his left seeing someone "Doc Wu-Wu!" he said.
"Guess who's ready to have a blastocyst from the pastocyst? The mitosis with the mosisis! We're ready for some chromosomes my bro-mosome." Dave said.
"We're here for the tour, Dr. Wu. Camp Cretaceous? Ms. Dearing should have mentioned." Roxie said.
"I'm sorry, but Mr. Masrani has accelerated the timetable for our newest exhibit yet again. I simply don't have time to spend the afternoon babysitting children." Henry Wu said.
Summer was recording a scientist when Henry caught her "Young lady, no recording in the lab." he said to Summer.
"But it's a whole big deal. I have my own web channel." Summer said.
"And that's germane because?" he asked.
"I'm sorry, Doctor. I just wanted people to meet the genius who resurrected the dinosaurs. Without you, there would be no Jurassic World or Park. It's also kinda unfair that you stay in the shadows while Masrani and John Hammond get all the credit." Summer said.
Henry got an idea "How many people watch this web show of yours?" he asked.
Noah and Crash were no where near done with finishing their punishment "If it wasn't for you I could be watching baby dinosaurs hatch." Noah said.
"Yeah like I even planned coming here." Crash said.
"If you didn't want to be here then why come at all?" Noah asked.
"Like anyone gives me respect in life." Crash said.
"You have to earn respect." Noah said.
"Like what Kenji Kon gave me?" he yelled.
Noah stopped with the comments Crash turned around and continued shoving poop around "What do mean what Kenji Kon gave you?" Noah asked.
Crash sighed "Kenji Kon came into my town my parents told me to give him with respect. I gave it to him but yet he kept insulting me and saying 'Oh did you know my girlfriend is a YouTube sensation' or 'Oh I'm rich and you're not' then after the day his dad forced us out of our home and turned it into a dump." Crash said.
"And you never gave anyone respect because of a bad person." Noah said.
Crash started to near cry "Hey um sorry for trying to steal your bed." Noah tried to apologize.
"Just don't kid." Crash said.
Noah noticed one of the rocks looked fake so he went over to it and found it was a hatch "Oh boy." Crash said.
He followed Noah into the underground systems and Noah went towards the Carnotaurus paddock.
At Henry's lab Summer got her phone ready "Okay, Dr. Wu, you're on." she said.
"Hello, I'm Dr. Henry Wu, PhD. Welcome to one of our satellite Jurassic World genetics labs. I like to say that creating a dinosaur takes TIME. T, technology; I, ingenuity; and M-E, me." he said.
"Good point." Summer said.
Sammy began looking around she went over to some screens "Dr. Wu, what's that?" she asked.
"Tree frog DNA." Henry said.
She went over to black window mirrors "Ooh! What's down that hall?" she asked.
"My private office. It's restricted." he said.
Summer had an idea.
Dave watched a butch of eggs "Oh, I think one of these eggs is about to hatch." he said.
"That's not possible." Henry said.
He checked a computer screen "That Anklyosaurus has only been incubating for ten weeks." he said.
The egg began shaking and something pop out "Is that a tail?" Yaz asked.
"Ew, ew, ew!" Ben was grossed out.
The baby was freed from her egg shell. She flipped off the table but Ben caught her much to his disgust he removed the shell covering the baby's head showing a green Anklyosaurus with a small bump.
"Aw." Yaz said.
"One of its head bumps is bigger than the other!" Summer said.
"Asymmetry? In my lab?" Henry asked.
"She's so tiny." Ben said.
"But she won't stay tiny for long, right?" Roxie asked Henry Wu.
"That's the idea." he said.
Summer began walking back "All the dinosaurs go through an accelerated growth cycle." Henry Wu said.
Summer sneaked inside Wu's private labs.
Noah and Crash entered the Carnotaurus paddock "More jungles yet no viewing platforms." Crash said.
They found the fence they waited to see the Carnotaurus Noah noticed something odd the fence looked like it was keeping things in "Hey kid did you check what side of the fence it's suppose to be right?" Crash asked.
"Uh no?" Noah said.
"I'm having a gut feeling we're inside the paddock." Crash said.
As if they were jinxed the Carnotaurus appeared behind them. "Holy sh..." Crash was cut off as the Carnotaurus roared at them.
Summer was sneaking around Dr. Wu's lab it was dark she bumped into Sammy "Oh! Hey!" Sammy said. Sammy! Uh, what are you doing here?" Summer asked.
"I was just... This place ought to come with a GPS. I really gotta go." Sammy said.
"I think there's a bathroom on the other end of the hall, actually." Summer said.
"Thanks! See you back there!" Sammy said.
She left. Summer found a door with the words "restricted" she opened the door she found a computer "Let's see if you guys like top secrets intel." Summer said about her YouTubers.
She found files about E750 Clinical Trail Results. She found a file labeled "Classified" she tried to enter it but she's locked out of it. It shut down she couldn't get back in she grabbed a flash drive. She found a blueprint with the words "Indominus Rex" it was some kind of dinosaur.
Wu came in "I thought the door said "restroom"? Summer tried to fake her plans.
Crash and Noah were getting chased "What now?" Noah asked.
"We can escape through the feeders." Crash said.
The two ran over to the fence Crash made it but Noah got stuck in it. He struggled to free himself "Help!" Noah cried out.
"Hold on I'll get a stick to free you." Crash said.
The Carnotaurus came charging at Noah but Crash freed him in time and the Carnotaurus got a scar across its muzzle. The two cheered "Yeah thought you could get us Toro? Well you didn't." Crash taunted.
"Toro?" Noah asked.
"Because of the horns." Crash said.
"Let's get back before the others arrives." Noah said.
"That's a good point." Crash said.
Ben was cooing the new baby dinosaur he seemed really fond of her "Well, that's it, Ben. Looks like you live here now." Roxie said.
"So cute Ben's a dino mom." Yaz said.
"Time for you all to leave." Henry said, throwing Summer into the group.
"Cleary, this group has no respect for my lab." he said.
"But what about Bumpy?" Ben asked.
"Aw, Bumpy! You gave it a name. That's precious!" Dave said.
"The asset will be released into a herd of Ankylosaurues." Henry said.
He grabbed Bumpy "Then she'll be their problem, just like you will cease to be my problem when you leave." Henry said.
They leave Ben wasn't eager to leave her. Bumpy likewise wasn't happy to see Ben leave.
Everyone returned to Crash and Noah they finished their job "Hey guys." Crash said.
"How was the field trip?" Noah asked.
"Oh, well, um, you know, Ben fell in love with a dinosaur, and Super Star here got us booted from the lab." Yaz said.
"That is not what happened." Summer said.
"How'd poop patrol go?" Sammy asked.
"He and I are never going to speak of this again." Crash said.
The two walked back to camp to get some showers at nighttime a drone appeared on the island someone planted a flash drive into it and it fly away from the island.
