I had to fix some minor mistakes, but nice reviews only please! :) Xx

Richie Cunningham walked into Arnold's and saw his best friends at the booth, he was wearing a leather jacket with his red hair slick back. "Richard, would you like to inform us boys why you are dressing up for Halloween so early?" Fonzie asked his best friend as he stood up.

Potsie and Ralph started cracking up.

"No Fonz, I'm going to be a greaser. Like you." Richie told him.

Again, Potsie and Ralph laughed hard.

"Richie as a greaser?" Ralph laughed.

Potsie cracked up.

"A what?" Fonzie asked in a serious tone.

Richie knew the serious tone in his voice.

"Yeah, I just want to be able to defend myself." Richie told him. "Stand up for myself and of course rumble."

Ralph let out a dramatic gasp.

"Ralph." Potsie said annoyingly.

"Uh Cunningham, office, now." Fonzie calmly said.

"But Fonz!" Richie argued.

"Now Richard." Fonzie ordered.

Richie let out a sigh and walked in the bathroom, followed by Fonzie and as the door closed, before Richie could say anything, Fonzie grabbed the hold of Richie's jacket collar while backing him up against the wall.

"Are you crazy red? What is this, life and death?" Fonzie asked. "You really wanna die!?"

Richie was surprised by Fonzie's outburst.

"No Fonzie! I just want to be like my hero! You!" Richie told him.

Then Fonzie calmly lets go of Richie and walks over to the sink, resting his hands on the edge of the sink, letting his head hang in disapproval. Richie knew something was bothering the Fonz.

"Fonzie, why are you so against me becoming like you?" Richie asked. "My role model, my best friend, my big brother...my hero."

Fonzie looks back up at the mirror to look at Richie behind him, before turning to face the younger boy, he lets out a sigh.

"Because Rich, you're my best friend." Fonzie told me.

"I think I need a little more than that Fonz." Richie said.

"Richie..." Fonzie warned.

"Fonzie, I need a reason why!" Richie snapped, getting annoyed.

"Because you're not just my best friend ya nerd!" Fonzie snapped.

Richie just stared at Fonzie with a dumbfounded look on his face.

"I don't want you, Richie Cunningham, my little brother getting hurt or killed." Fonzie admits after letting out a sigh.

"What?" Richie asked.

Fonzie looks over at Richie.

"Richie, you're not just my best friend..." Fonzie started. "...You're my little brother."

Richie looks down and back up at Fonzie.

"Ok, but I know I can defend myself, Fonz. I have a little sister who I'd protect every fiber of my being." Richie told him.

Fonzie let out a deep sigh.

"I know Red, and I know you're strong...but..." Fonzie started as he sat on the edge of the sink. "I just can't see...my Cunningham, who I'd LOVE for little brother, getting beaten up or ending up dead-" His voice trailed off as he said the last word "Dead" and bit his lower lip.

Richie felt bad and let out a sigh.

"Ok I won't be a greaser," Richie finally says. "But I don't want people to think I'm weak or a nerd."

"Hey you are not weak." Fonzie spoke up and stood up, walking over to Richie, draping his arm around him. "But you're my nerd."

Fonzie gave him a warm smile, making Richie smile.

"Thanks Fonz." Richie said.

"Anytime kid." Fonzie answers. "Come on Red, let's go get Lori-Beth and my girl, and us four can have a double date."

"That's a great idea Fonz!" Richie smiled.

"And after that, whoa." Fonzie smirked.

"Alright! Lori-Beth here I come!" Richie shouted, making Fonzie laugh.

The boys left the bathroom. But Fonzie couldn't stop thinking about Richie wanting to become a greaser. His Richie Cunningham, the sweet nerdy howdy doody Richie. But he smiled to himself how Richie wanted to be like his role model, hero...him, the Fonz. Fonzie may be cool, but he'll always have a soft spot for the Cunninghams', the boys and most importantly...Richie.
