Centuries ago...
Zelda attempted to investigate the gates to the Time Nest with the tablet, but she was unable to gain access to it. "Nothing. Just as I thought.", she said. She examines the structure pondering for a moment. "Hmm... It appears that this structure was designed to be exclusively accessed by someone with the Force. But not any Force-sensitive, a very unique Force-sensitive can travel through the Gates of Time. How can I master the Force...?".
Skywalker approaches Zelda as the latter turns to discover her knight appears before him. Zelda isn't happy about this. She is irritated.
"I thought I made it clear that I am not in need of an escort.", Zelda said. She hears no response from Skywalker. "It seems I'm the only one with a mind of my own. I, the person in question, am fine, regardless of the Jedi Council's orders or the Supreme Chancellor's orders.". She walks past Bruce Skywalker as she tells him "Return to Coruscant. And tell that to the Jedi Council and the Supreme Chancellor, please.".
Once Bruce heard it, he started following the princess. She became aware and suddenly stopped.
Zelda spins to Bruce. "And stop following me!", she yelled. She can see Bruce has heard her order loud and clear. She then departs leaving Bruce to make his own way back to Coruscant at least she hopes he will.
The present...
Zelda awakens. She quickly remembers she is in Wayne Mansion. Bruce has allowed her to stay though not with him. Their relationship is still broken. She stands up quickly changing her clothes to tight sleeveless turtleneck top, robes and earrings. She looked at herself in the mirror. This is how she wears when she does her job as Guardian of the Universe.
Zelda left the room, and saw Bruce was talking with Alfred.
"I implore you go with her, Master Bruce. I know deep down you did not mean the things you said to her in your unexpected reunion.", Alfred said.
"I refuse to go with her. She's... Towa, Demigra, Frieza, Omega Shenron. I tried not to believe she is not above them in what she really was. But I've come to acknowledge it by the realization that our relationship was always lies.", Bruce said. He finally moves away and spoke in a calm voice. "As soon as she is ready, she may leave the mansion.".
The thought of Bruce's continuous distrust of her agonizes her. She turns away and teleports herself out of the mansion.
"You can't let go of one part of the past, can you Master Bruce?". Alfred goes to Zelda's room, only to discover she is not here. It astonished Alfred and he subsequently knew why Zelda left without goodbyes. She eavesdropped him and Bruce's conversation. He feels sorrow for the lady, and for their broken relationship.
Centuries ago...
Bruce is called to one of the Jedi Temples in another world. There, he sees Zelda, exhausted and asleep. And the old man who is tender to Zelda is none other than Albus Dumbledore. The one who permitted Skywalker to be a Padawan appointed to Obi-Wan Kenobi. Though he apparently feels distrusted by the Jedi Council, Albus and Obi-Wan are probably the two only people that cared about him.
"You have done well as the princess's appointed knight, young Skywalker", the Albus remarked. He notices Bruce looking concerned on what happened to Zelda. It's not with feelings, it's what a Jedi Knight should be like especially as the Princess's knight. "She was out on a survey all day today. Fast asleep now.". He turns to Bruce. "Have the two of you been getting along all right?". Bruce didn't respond. "It's okay. I know. Your silence speaks volumes.". He looks down at Zelda. "She gets frustrated every time she looks up and sees you a young boy following your destiny. It makes her feel like a failure when it comes to her own destiny. There is nothing for you to worry. You have no blame in this. Two destinies: you will be the Chosen One to bring peace to the Multiverse, and she will be the Guardian of the Multiverse watching over time and Multiverse.".
Bruce continues listening to Dumbledore. He hasn't said a single word to respond to Dumbledore but he understands what he says.
"It's unfortunate. She's put in more than enough time. Ever since she was a young girl, she's gone through rigorous daily routines to show her dedication. She once passed out in the freezing oceans trying to access this sealing power, to the point three Jedi Knights had to rescue her. And she has nothing to show for it. That's the motivation driving her research. I'd be doing the same thing studying the Force deeper and deeper until my death.", Dumbledore said. He turns to Bruce. "I know why you say silent toward your allies. You struggle to move on from the trauma. It will never go away... unfortunately. But you never let it stop you from protecting the Princess. I can see you are very... attached to her. As a Jedi, we are required to relinquish all attachments. You future is uncertain young Skywalker. But I sense it will have a bright future with the Princess by your side.".
Dumbledore and Skywalker have noticed darkness continuing to shroud the world. The Dark Side is enveloping everything, and they know this time isn't safe.
"The darkness of this world is too dangerous with the princess still asleep. It's time we return her to Lyoko.", Dumbledore said. He uses the Force to awaken Princess Zelda. "Arise, Princess Zelda.". Dumbledore's use of the Force has startled Zelda awake.
"Master Dumbledore! What was that?", Zelda cried out in shock. She turns to her surroundings. "Did you feel that?".
"Easy, Princess Zelda. You have just awoken from your slumber.", Dumbledore said.
As Princess Zelda looks around she finds Skywalker's presence here too. "Wait, what... how did you...? What are you doing here?!", she exclaimed. She was sure when she drowned into slumber she was alone with Dumbledore. She looks at Dumbledore with a questioning expression.
The present time...
Batman was called by the Justice League to arrive in the Watchtower. He has a feeling he knows why they called him. As soon as he arrived, most of the Justice League were already here. It was very crowded. He wouldn't normally see Constantine, Doctor Fate, the entire Bat family including Oracle, the Outsiders, the entire Team Flash, the Legends, Phantom Stranger, Orion, all the Green Lanterns who are Hyliansapiens like the heroes and billions inhabiting this planet. This is not some meeting on the subject of crisis. This is about his wife calling for his help.
"Glad you could make it.", Superman said coming to Batman.
"Don't waste my time, Clark. I know why you summoned me, and almost the entire League in the Watchtower.", Batman said.
"Look, I don't mean to pry in your relationship with the Guardian of the Universe, or Multiverse, don't really know it works. But I'm concerned about you and her.", Superman said.
"What's bothering you, Clark?", Batman said as he looks away.
"You mean 'what's bothering us?'", Diana corrected as she came to Bruce.
"Every time you find someone who loves you you seem to reject ever being happy. Is this... because of your fallout with her?", Superman asked, worried for his close friend. Batman lowers his head, refusing to answer Superman's question. Superman places a hand on his shoulder "I try not to meddle with your affairs, but this reunion with Zelda is breaking you up. I can feel your agony growing intense.".
Bruce suddenly started to experience pain in his body.
"Bruce? You know we're not accusing you of anything, right? I just want you to know you can talk to me about anything.", Superman said softly. He notices Bruce's eyes are shutting until suddenly Batman collapsed. Superman quickly caught Batman in his arms as the Justice Leaguers surround Batman and Superman.
Centuries ago...
Two women stood at Veiled Falls.
"So, Princess...", Mipha said as she looks away from the bottom of the waterfall. "I hear a Jedi Padawan has been ranked to knighthood and was appointed to be your knight.". She looks at Zelda. "It's very rare for Padawans at a very young age to achieve that rank.".
"Skywalker.", Zelda revealed.
"Oh...", Mipha knew what Skywalker Zelda refers to. "That wouldn't be Bruce Wayne, would it?".
"Wayne? Son of Thomas Wayne and Martha Wayne?", Zelda said in a questioning manner. "I thought that boy died with his parents.".
"So, he's alive after this long, huh?", Mipha said in surprising manner. She knew Bruce Wayne and Bruce Skywalker are one and the same.
"I'm not following."
"When Bruce Skywalker was a child his parents died.", Mipha told her.
"Why have I not heard this before?", Zelda asked as she began to feel sorry for the way she treated to Master Bruce, thinking about why the Jedi Council, particularly Obi-Wan Kenobi never told her about the boy's tragic past.
"Because it was a closely guarded secret, Princess."
Mipha and Zelda turned. They became surprised seeing a Jedi Master arriving at their location. "Master Kenobi?", Princess Zelda exclaimed. "I had no idea you were following me.".
"Oh, I wasn't following you. I sensed where you'd be. So, I didn't have to necessarily follow you is what I'm trying to say.", Obi-Wan said as he approaches the females. He looks at Mipha. "Princess Mipha, the last time we met a bounty was placed on your head by the Hutts. How goes your peaceful life after the Hutts' memories were erased of that unfortunate event?".
Mipha glances below the waterfall as though showing Obi-Wan what she does these past years. Obi-Wan saw and backed away to avoid falling.
"I see."
"Continue what you were saying about Jedi Knight Bruce Skywalker.", Zelda said.
"My former Padawan Bruce Skywalker's past had to be kept in the dark. Our enemies are everywhere, Zelda. The Senate and the Jedi.", Obi-Wan said.
"What are you talking about?", Zelda said, confused over how the Senate and the Jedi are enemies.
"With information from an untrustworthy source we have taken note of the possibility the Jedi and the Senators may be influenced by the Dark Side of the Force.", Obi-Wan said.
"So you can't trust the source, and you're convinced you shouldn't trust your Jedi friends nor the Senators. Very strange.", Zelda said.
"Bruce's fears cannot be exploited by anyone. Please understand Bruce. Even if you don't get along with him.", Obi-Wan said. He turns heading to the ship he parked below the away from this area.
Zelda finally understands Bruce. She had nothing but sympathy for young Skywalker. She should never have expressed frustrations at him. And she finally comprehends Bruce wasn't really ordered by the Council or the Chancellor to keep a very close eye on her. Skywalker made the decision himself.
The present...
Zelda returns to her ship where she meets with Captain Rex. "Did he...?", he asked curiously. Zelda turns her head right and left. It's a 'no'. Skywalker is not coming with them. "I'm sorry you two have issues. I wish it could be resolved.". Zelda came close to Rex and gave him a soft, gentle touch on the cheek.
"I wish so too, Rex.", Zelda said in a sad manner. She sighs. "Prepare to launch the ship into hyperspace.".
Rex lowers his head in sadness for a moment until he nodded obeying the Guardian. He has everyone to set the course to have the ship leave the planet. Before he would say it, Rex perceives a presence that's floating before their window. "Uh... Queen Zelda.", he said. "you may want to come here.". The Clone Troopers and him saw the person knocking on the windshield.
Zelda turns. She moves past the Clone Troopers that block her from seeing what it is. As she passes all the Clone Troopers to reach the windows, Zelda astonishingly discovers Superman levitating and appears to be calling for help. Zelda uses the Force to create a path between the inside and the outside of the ship. Superman enters the portal and is subsequently inside the ship. "Kal-El, last son of Krypton. Your timing is wrong as you can see I am about to leave planet Kaiba.", she said as she moves close to Superman.
"We need you here, your majesty. Bruce has passed out, and cannot wake up.", Superman addressed. Zelda became shocked learning what happened to Bruce. "We think you're the only one who can help him.".
Despite issues between herself and Bruce, Zelda never pauses herself to help Bruce. "Tell me where he is?", she asked. Superman nods as he tells Zelda the location.
Centuries ago...
The Dark Lords have attacked Princess Zelda. A battle turned deadlier and bloodier. Some of the Jedi Knights have been killed, and her guards. And the Princess runs trying to avoid the crimson lightsabers from reaching her. But it was useless once Zelda saw a Dark Lord appeared and prevented her escape. Zelda stumbles away, and fell to the ground. She had no way of running away. No defense, she is soon to die. One Dark Lord steadily raises his lightsaber. Zelda shuts her eyes, preparing for the worst: her death.
The Dark Lord makes a swift strike at Zelda, only to suddenly stop. He experiences pain as both his arms are sliced off.
Zelda thinks why she isn't dead. She looks up, a Dark Lord had lost his arms. Someone saved her, he was standing to protect her. Bruce Skywalker with a blue lightsaber. Bruce is covered with blood, bruises and cuts. But he still able to stand. He uses the Force to push all the Dark Lords away from the princess. Zelda stares up at him with awe. Despite yelling at him and showing frustrations at him, Bruce was there to guard her.
The present...
Bruce is in bed checked by Nightwing, Zatanna, Wonder Woman and Flash. The Leaguers turned to see Superman and Queen Zelda entering the medical bay with four Clone Troopers behind her. Zelda came to Bruce's bed taking a close inspection on him as she puts two hands around his face. She appears to be scanning Bruce using her powers.
"Let's see if I can wake him up.", Zelda said. She uses the Force to wake Bruce. The pink energy from her hands envelop Bruce's body. Pink light illuminated the whole room.
The pink light finally faded. "Well?", Superman asked for the result.
Zelda ended the process, and turns to Superman and the Justice League. "He's not in a coma... yet.", Zelda said sadly.
"Did you try to wake him?", Wonder Woman asked showing a worried look.
"I tried to wake him up using the Force.", Zelda addressed. "It's not working. That cannot fail unless...". Zelda started to realize why her method of waking him up didn't work. "...Bruce may not have the Force within him anymore.".
Zatanna seemed astounded.
"Has Bruce ever used any powers before like specifically telekinesis, jumping so high, reading people's minds, sensing surroundings?", Zelda asked.
"No.", Nightwing answered. He was with Bruce more frequent in his life than any person except Alfred.
"Then there's only one method left to wake Bruce. But we have to enter his mind to do it.", Zelda said.
Every Leaguer exchanged glances thinking about it.
"We're ready when you're ready.", Diana said.
"Uh... count me out.", Flash said. He notices everyone is staring at him. "What? Can't you understand the unpleasant experience I had with Grodd?". They finally understand and looked away.
Ready, Zelda uses the Force to envelop pink energy all around herself, Superman, Nightwing, Zatanna and Wonder Woman. As a result, they are all warped and flied into Bruce's head.
"Good luck, you guys.", Flash said.
