"People of Paris, you have known me as the famous fashion designer, Gabriel Agreste this whole time," said Gabriel.
"But there is another name to call me by," he said while removing his tie.
"It can't be," said Cat Noir as his father said 'Nooroo, Dark Eyes Open,' and transformed into Hawkmoth.
"Hawkmoth, the soon to be ruler of Earth!" said Hawkmoth. He had a new outfit which was similar to his old one but with a giant pair of wings with an upper section on his shoulders and a lower one near his hip. The upper sections had a pattern to them that looked like two large eyes.
"This has to be some kind of joke, right?" asked Myst.
"What do you think… Cat?" asked Ladybug as she noticed that Cat Noir was missing. Down in an alley, Adrien had de-transformed.
"What are you doing, kid?" asked Plagg.
"You have to get back out there and help the others," he said.
"If my father is really Hawkmoth then I've put all of my friends in danger just by being near them, I don't deserve to be Cat Noir anymore," said Adrien while slipping the ring off.
"Take this to Ladybug and tell her I'm sorry, but I can't do this anymore," he said while handing over the ring.
"Adrien you…," said Plagg before being cut off.
"That's an order, Plagg!" said Adrien who just looked down at the ground as he spoke. Without a word, the Kwami flew off and Adrien ran away in the other direction.
"Things aren't looking good for us or Paris," said Axel as the Power Playerz walked out of a split off alley that led to the one that Adrien and Plagg had been in.
"What are we going to do, we still haven't found Madcap," said Zoe.
"We have to help Adrien, I can only imagine what he's going through but it won't help anyone if Cat Noir doesn't return to the battle," said Axel. They then headed after Adrien who was already out of sight.
