Norman woke with a start, his eyes wide open. He sat up and looked at his surroundings. He was in a alleyway and it was night. He looked at himself and noticed that his clothes were dirty. He wanted to look for his son but first he needed some new clothes. He found a jacket with a hood and put in on, the hood hiding his face when he pulled it up. Getting to his feet, Norman walked down the streets, looking for shelter for the night.

He spotted a convenience store and walked inside. He bought a bag of chips and a bottle of ginger ale and left, walking through the pouring rain. He was so lost in his thoughts that he didn't notice the flash of brown that darted past him. Startled, he spun around, but no one was there. He continued walking, wondering what he should do next.

There was that flash of brown again. Norman turned around and saw no one. He yelped when a metal arm wrapped around him and lifted him into the air. He thrashed around, trying to get free. Someone was kidnapping him and he had to get away. Something was sprayed into his face and he coughed. He felt lightheaded and he fainted.

Otto looked at the sleeping Norman in front of him. He was shocked that Norman was alive. He had been going for a walk when he spotted someone in a green jacket with a purple hoodie. It was when he saw sandy blond hair poking out from the hood that he recognized the man as Norman Osborn. He knew that he had to get Norman back to his apartment.

He had feelings for Norman but he was too scared to admit it. Now was the chance to make things right. Adjusting Norman in his arms, Otto made his way back to his apartment.

Norman groaned as he regained consciousness. He looked around and saw that he was in a apartment. How did I get here? he thought. He tried to hands but noticed they were chained behind his back. He saw that he was chained to a pole and his feet were chained together in front of him. Fear forming in the pit of his stomach, he tried to break free but the chains were tied so tightly he could hardly move. He heard footsteps coming towards him. "Who's there?" he asked. "Why am I chained to a pole?"

The man holding him captive came into the light and Norman recognized him right away. Curly black hair, brown eyes, sunglasses, trenchcoat, and metal tentacles. That was his old friend, Otto Octavius. "Otto?"

Otto nodded. "Hi Norman."

Norman moved as best he could in his chains. "How are you alive?" he asked.

"I can ask you the same thing," replied Otto. He sat down in front of Norman. "Sorry I chained you up, I just didn't want to get hurt."

"That's OK," said Norman. Otto freed him from the chains and helped him to his feet. He led him to the couch and sat next to him. He felt his cheeks burn as he looked at his old friend. "Norman, I want to tell you something. I-I love you."

"I love you too, Otto," replied Norman. Otto leaned forward and kissed him. Norman kissed him back. The two pulled away, gasping for air. "Want to sleep on the couch tonight?" asked Otto.

"Okay," replied Norman. They curled up on the couch together and watched a movie until they fell asleep. They woke up the next morning with Norman leaning against Otto's chest.

"Good morning," said Norman.

"Good morning," replied Otto.

They spent the day having breakfast and went to find Harry. Harry was shocked that his father was alive. He hugged him close. "I missed you, Dad."

"I missed you too, Harry."

Otto, Norman, and Harry sat on the couch and watched TV together.
