Well, here it is everyone, chapter three. Enjoy! Version Car movie 2

future pairing: Francesco x female Lightning McQueen

Lightning sighed happily as she watched a random movie with Mater on the plane. She had gotten a new paint job from Ramone and she honestly felt like a fresh new car heading into a new world. Of course, she was worried about Mater, the place they'll be going to will have expectations behavioral wise, she hoped her friend could learn to control himself while they were there. Doc, her mentor, had deigned to stay behind at Radiator Springs, his age leaving him a bit more tired from the constant traveling. She was worried about her mentor, but she knew the town folks would keep an eye on him and would call her if anything happened while she was away. Just before she left town though, she had an interesting encounter with Cal, he was getting ready to leave as well. Of course, he was a good friend, definitely a youngster, younger than she is, but she hoped all the dreams he had gone his way.

Leaning back a bit in her spot, she resumed watching the movie and before she knew it, time flew past, and the party she was invited to was ever closer.

EXT. TOKYO MUSEUM -Currently now nighttime

Lightning and her team entered via a second-floor landing that overlooks a massive indoor party in a converted museum. As they roll down a ramp to the party, they are all awed at the place. "Guido, look! Ferraris and tires! Let's go!" And Luigi and Guido drove off excitedly. Lightning was instantly impressed with the place they had picked out for the guests. "Nice." She turned to face Mater instantly. "Hey, look at this. Okay now Mater, remember, best behavior." She told him firmly. "You got it, buddy." He looked in a different direction and something caught his attention. "Hey, what's that?" He asked out loud and took off.

"Mater!" Lightning called out to him worriedly. Suddenly, a familiar voice popped up that caught her attention away from Mater. "Hey, McQueen, over here!" Jeff Gorvette called out to her. She instantly spotted Jeff, a Vallejo C62, and his familiar yellow paint job and the American flag on his side. He was relaxing next to another familiar racer that had her perking up. She also spotted Lewis Gorvette next to him. A complete opposite look, black, and sleek that always caught her attention. He was a nice-looking 2009 grand touring sports that were also a special GBC racer.

"Hey, Jeff. Lewis!" She said happily as she approached them.

WITH MATER

You can see that Mater liked what he saw in the glass-enclosed rock garden, though at the time, he didn't know what it was when he spotted a pitty raking the rocks with precision. He knocks on the glass with his tow cable rather obnoxiously, catching everyone's attention to him. "Hey! You have done well! you got all the leaves!" He said loudly.

Lightning was conversing with Jeff and Lewis when they noticed the racket Mater was making. "Man, check out that tow truck," Jeff said with a frown. Lightning grimaced a bit at Mater's behavior. "I wonder who that guy's with?" Lewis asked out loud. Lightning sighed to herself and turned to her racing friends. "Will you guys please excuse me just for one little second?" She said as she drove off in the direction of the tow truck. Lewis and Jeff looked at each other in worry. They did not want to be in Lightning's tires if that guy was with her.

She hurriedly made her way to Mater and pulled him away so all the attention would ignore him. "Mater, buddy, you have to listen to me. This isn't Radiator Springs." Lightning tried to explain it to him as they continued to drive through the crowd. "Oh shoot, you're just now realizing that? Boy, that jet lag did a number on ya." Mater said with a grin. Lightning just sighed at him impatiently. "Mater, look - things are different over here. Which means you can't act the way you normally do." She said in a way, trying not to offend him in the best way she knew how.

"Different than what?" He asked her curiously. "Well, just...help me out here buddy, I..." Lightning was cut off by Mater. "You need help? Shoot, why don't you say so? That's what a tow truck does. Hey, looky there, it's Mr. San Francisco!" He said cheerfully and sped forward, where they could see he was holding what looked to be a court."I'll introduce you two." He said cheerfully and took off. "Mater, no!" She said worriedly and hurriedly followed after him. Francesco stood in his spot with his drink when Mater approached him, Lightning shyly trying to hide in the crowd until she was close by. "Hey, Mr. San Francisco, I'd like you to meet -" He was cut off by formula 1.

"Lightning McQueen! Buona sera." He said cheerfully, waving his open-wheeled tire in the air. "Nice to meet you, Francesco." She said to him, kinda wondering why he was checking her out so blatantly. "Yeah, nice to meet you too. You are positively beautiful, no? Very good, looking compared to your previous identity. But I have to say, absolutely Magnifique." He said with a smirk as he continued to observe her. She was ever so thankful that her red paint hid her blush so well. Mater sidled up next to Francesco with a grin. "Excuse me, can I get a picture with you?" He asked him. Francesco kept his attention on Lightning before turning to Mater with a smooth look. "Anything for Lightning McQueen's friend." He said gratefully.

They instantly started posing for the cameras that were clicking away. "Miss Sally is gonna flip when she sees this. She's Lightning's best female friend, I'm the best male friend." Mater told him cheerfully, Francesco listened on with a grin towards Lightning. "Ooh." He said teasingly. Lightning just rolled her eyes at him. "They're both big fans of yours." Mater instantly started spilling all of Lightning's secrets right then and there as her eyes averted in embarrassment, blushing everywhere and feeling quite hot in her engine and Francesco gave her a smirk and a flirty wink.

"They have good taste." He said, letting his ego grow by a mile. Lightning coughed a little and moved forward a bit on her tires as Francesco finished posing for the cameras to face her. "Mater's prone to exaggeration. I wouldn't exactly say we're huge fans." She said, trying to downplay it. "You're right, they're huge fans. They were both going on and on about your open wheels whereas Lightning here would go off in dreamland about it." Lightning instantly glared at her best friend. Francesco instantly rolled up until their tires touched and he looked deep into her eyes. "So you a like Francesco eh Lightning?" He asked her with a grin as folks everywhere started paying attention to them.

Lightning's engine felt super hot. She was blushing really hard now. "Um..." She stammered a bit at his attention and tried to roll backward, but he gently but firmly put a tire on her to stop her from going away. He smirked at her. "Then I declare that in this race, I shall prove myself to win your affections at the finish line and you Lightning McQueen, shall fall for Francesco, all the ladies do." He winked at her and Lightning scoffed at his arrogance. "As if I'll ever go out with a car like yourself Francesco. I don't like arrogant cars." She said hauntingly. Francesco just laughed at her in amusement.

She huffed at him angrily and drove away. "He is so getting beat tomorrow." She uttered to herself angrily.

LATER ON THAT EVENING IN THE PARTY

A voice sounded out through a microphone. "Ladies and gentle cars...Sir Miles Axelrod!" You could see Axelrod himself approaching the stage, a waterfall flowing behind him. "It is my absolute honor to introduce you to the competitors in the first-ever World Grand Prix. From Brazil, number eight..." He drones on as we follow behind another scene where you could spy Lightning making her way to the bathroom. She wanted to make sure she was absolutely clean before she had to on stage and looking around, she asked a fellow car nearby, "Excuse me, where's the bathroom?" She asked him. He gave her a light smile and nodded in the direction hallway in front of her.

She looked down to where the hallway led through and sure enough, she spotted the bathrooms there. She nodded her hood to the car for the direction. "Thank you." She said to him nicely. She rode on her tires gently through the hallway as she approached, she looked around the areas and she weirdly spotted a pacer and a gremlin strolling together into the men's bathroom and shook herself off. She made her way inside the lady's bathroom and leaned to where the sink was and splashed some water on herself. "Alright Lightning, get a hold of yourself, you've been in front of a large crowd and live on television. So why exactly are you nervous girl?" She said to herself in the mirror. Though a ruckus in the men's room next door shuttered out a large bang, causing her to jump in slight fear at what sounded like a fight.

She jumped again when something slammed itself onto her bumper and she turned around and glared angrily at the car that dared touch her in the bathroom. It was an American car, that much she was mistaken, but he was male, and in the lady's room. But what had her concerned was how he looked. It was like he was really beaten up and had been slammed into the wall multiple times. He had dents everywhere. She immediately became concerned for him. "Sir, are you alright?" She asked him, frowning at him. He huffed a little when the doors to the bathroom they were in slammed open and she saw the two gremlins and pacer come in, both of them looked angry. The American car put himself in front of her as he glared at the two. "I'm fine, get out of here while you can." He told her as the gremlin angrily slammed him into the wall causing her to gasp in fear.

The pacer looked at her evilly with a dark grin. She hesitatingly took a wheel backward which he followed. "You're not going anywhere, lass. You're coming with us." He told her as he armed his gun at her.

WITH HOLLY AND FINN

Holly made her way through the crowd when her computer beeped out a notification. She leaned her mouth into the radio. "The American has activated his tracking beacon." She told Finn. "Roger that. Move in." Finn told her. Back in the bathroom, Lightning fearfully tried to make her way out of the bathroom, but the pacer shoved the tip of his gun on her hood, forcing her back. She gasped loudly when the American car slammed the pacer away from her and he glared. "Go Now!" He yelled at her. Lightning immediately tried making her way out of the bathroom as fast as she could go, but the gremlin shoved her against the wall. She let out an oof of pain and she blinked, dazed.

With Holly, you could see her try to pinpoint the location of the beacon when she found it. "Oh, you've got to be joking." She exclaimed. "What's the problem Shiftwell?" Finn asked her through the radio. "He's in the loo." She said, weirded out. "So, go in!" He commanded her. "I can't just go in there, he's in the men's loo." She said loudly. "Time is of the essence Shiftwell." He told her and Holly sighed reluctantly. "Oh Alright." She said and followed the beacon using her map.

Lightning watched on fearfully at the fighting before her, but when both the gremlin and the pacer were distracted by the other car, she took her chance to get out of the bathroom. She wheeled down the hallway, passing by a sleek purple car, and sighed in relief. She hoped they didn't follow her. Holly followed the beacon to the bathroom, but what was strange to her is that it led to the woman's loo, and what came out with the beacon was a female race car. "Uh, Fin we may have a problem with this mission." She told him on the radio. "What happened?" He asked her, concerned. "The American car replaced the beacon on another car. "Are they still American at least?" He asked her quietly. Holly watched the female car. She was muttering something about Francesco and beating him in a race. "Apparently so." She told him.

"Then they're the ones we need for this mission. Get to them Shiftwell." Finn said in a hurried tone when he saw that the lemons had spotted him. Holly sighed and made her way to the other car. Lightning grumbled a bit as she made her way towards the end of the hallway when that same purple car, a lady, pull up to her. "Hello." Her British voiced out to her, catching Lightning's attention. "Oh, hello there." She said back to her. "A Volkswagen Karmann Ghia has no radiator." Holly told her. Lightning rolled her eyes. "Of course, it doesn't. That's because it's air-cooled." She told her impatiently. The other girl smiled, relieved. "Perfect, I'm from the Tokyo station.." She was caught off. "Listen, lady, not that I don't enjoy this conversation, but they're about to call my number to the stage." Lightning said, paying attention to the conversation around her.

Holly looked taken aback at the information but she nodded. "Of course, impossible to know which areas here are compromised. So when can I see you again?" Holly asked her. Lightning looked at her weirdly. "Uh, lady, not that your not gorgeous, you are. I don't swing that way." Lightning told her. Holly blushed at her wording. "Oh, I'm sorry about that. No, that's not what I meant. I was hoping we could meet up so we could exchange some information. you have something that I want and something you already have." Holly told her. Lightning looked back to the bathroom at that statement. "Um, we can meet up after the race. I'll be too busy racing for the day." She told Holly. Holly was instantly concerned. Not only is she a lady, but apparently she'll be too open if she's using a race car as a disguise. "Well, alright then. We'll rendezvous then." She told her and drove off. Lightning looked after her in confusion but shook it off and made her way to the front to be introduced.

Alright, everyone, this chapter is over, we also have the race for the next chapter and a more open meeting between Lightning McQueen and Francesco after the race before she meets up with Holly.
