Mobile suit Gundam: The Frontier Wars

Found alone and adrift in space, these groups of strangers were found and given Sanctuary, but with the rise of the Empire, their Sanctuary is now threatened, can they help push back the might of the Empire or will they be crushed like all the others that tried to resist, only blood, sweat and their will to fight will be there answer, multi-Crossover, Zoey 101, and others.

1. Chapter 1

Chapter 1

Chase felt himself floating, the feeling was like nothing he ever felt before, it was nothing like being in the water, he didn't know this feeling, so he did the only thing he could think of and that was to open his eyes and look, and what he saw made him feel awe and fear as he was currently floating in space. He moves his head as he takes in his surroundings only to find that he was in some kind of debris field, and he was not alone as all around him were others like him, before he could question what was going on he started to hear a voice.

"Dustin! where are you," shouted the voice of his girlfriend, Zoey, turning around to see if he could find her, he shouted back. "Zoey! it's me Chase where are you," he didn't have to wait long for a response as she answer him back.

"Chase, it that you, are you okay," said Zoey as Chase tried to look for her in the sea of people and debris but had no luck, so doing the only thing he could think of he began waving his arms hoping she would notice. "Yes! It's me, Zoey see if you can see me, I'm waving my arms," said Chase as he continued to try and get her to fine him.

"Give me a minute to fine you... I think I see you," was her response as Chase started to look around once more until he felt something hit him from behind, turning his head he spotted her joyful face of Zoey as she looks at him.

"Oh, thank god, I found someone, I've been looking for Dustin, but I couldn't find him," said Zoey as Chase was quick to speak as he turns his body and grab hold of her shoulders as both of them look into one another eyes. "Don't worry Zoey, we'll find them," said Chase as Zoey nodded but before they could do anything else they started to hear the shouts of panic.

"What that?" said a voice as both teens turn to see a light heading toward their group.

"It's getting closer, we need to hide!" said another as it was getting closer, but as it was another light came into view as another and another, until there were at least 7 lights heading in their direction.

"Maybe there here to help us," said another as the first light was close enough to come into view, what he saw was nothing like he has ever seen before, he held onto Zoey tighter as if to make sure they were asleep and dreaming this. "Chase what's going on?" asked Zoey as she held onto him, he didn't answer as he didn't have one.

"It's right on top of me! someone help me!" shouted a voice as Chase turn to see what was going on, one of the ships was currently above one of the people, they tried to run away but as they were in space they couldn't move and there was nothing to jump off of, he could only watch as some kind of energy lit up from the ship and toward the man, he then watches as the man was being pulled towards the ship.

"Chase! what are they doing," said Zoey but he could only watch on as he heard the man screaming as he was brought into the ship, then his screams went silent, he felt helpless and scared but most of all he felt anger as all he could do was float here and let this be done to them, he closed his eyes and balled his fist as he wanted to do something to protect the ones he loves, but all he could do was shouted. "Dammit, all!" shouted Chase as he opens his eyes, but as he did, he caught something in the corner of his eyes, turning to look he spotted it, and what he saw brought up memories of when he was a kid, he used to watch VHS tapes of the show on his VCR.

He remembered how awesome it was, as the giant robot fought off the bad guys and won the day, and as these memories were coming back to him so did the name at that show. "Gundam," whispered Chase under his breath as Zoey turn to look at him.

"What?" said Zoey but already Chase was planning something as he turns to face her. "Hold on and don't let go," said Chase as he made sure his grip on Zoey was tight, once he did, he looked behind him to see that near them was a piece of debris, he then pulled their bodies toward it, and when their legs touch it, he turns to face Zoey. "Trust me and don't let go," said Chase as Zoey could only nod the next second, he jumps off and towards the Gundam, and once they were close Zoey began to see it as well.

"What?" asked Zoey but before he could answer her, they made it, once they did, he quickly move them towards where he knew the cockpit was located, once he did, he then located the switch to open the cockpit, he move Zoey toward him and away as the cockpit door began to open. "Chase what is going on, tell me," said Zoey as he turns to face her as looked into her eyes.

"You won't believe me even if I tell you but... this is a Gundam," said Chase as he notices the look of confusion on her face as he tried to explain more. "It's from the old tv show that I used to watch, of course, this one look more advance but it still has that same look," said Chase as he was right, this Gundam must be more advanced than the one he saw when he was a kid but that didn't matter right now, he needed to use it to help these people and the ones he loves.

"But..." Zoey tried to speak but Chase was quick to stop her as he turns and shouted. "We don't have time Zoey; I need to do this now and I can't do that if I'm worried about you being hurt, so please trust me," said Chase as he reaches out his hand for her to take, she looks towards the hand then to him and then nodded as she took it, smiling Chase pulled her towards him as they quickly boarded the cockpit, it closed right as they entered, Chase quickly got into the pilot seat but as he did he also realized that Zoey had nowhere to sit.

"Sorry Zoey, but you're going to have to sit on my lap for now," said Chase as she did so he began pressing buttons and flipping switches, he hopes what he was doing would do something and he was rewarded as the cockpit began to light up showing him readouts and an almost 360 degrees view of his surroundings, the other this he saw was that reading was starting to show for him lucky for him they were in English as he smiled, turning to look around he began to read where everything was until he was done he grabs onto the controls and starts to walk forward, Zoey is startled by this but he ignores her as he continues to walk until he was at the edge of where he could walk, there was nothing but space for him now, he needed to use the thruster now.

He took a breath as he took one more step and once, as he did, he quickly felt the Gundam lift off as they were now floating in space, he smiled as he began maneuvering the Gundam around the debris and the people, he felt free as he flew across space, he felt like a kid again, but once he got somewhat control of the Gundam he turns around to face the ships that were currently taking there, people.

"Chase what are we going to do, they have those people inside, if you attack them then you would also hurt them," said Zoey as Chase knew she was right, his heart was racing as he tried to figure out what he could do, but it was then Zoey said something, turning to her he asked. "What, what is it, Zoey?" asked Chase as she pointed towards a light flashing on the dashboard, pressing it the screen began to turn on showing them a new face, the face belonging to a human, he looked to be in his late 50s, his face had a stern look as a cigar was currently in his mouth, gray smoke puff through his lips as he removes the cigar and keeps it between his two of his fingers, he then began to speak in a gruff voice.

"And what are you planning to do with that mech, son?" asked the man as he kept his eyes focused on Chase's, neither none backing down as the tension began to build, and neither one speaking it was Zoey that spoke first. "We want you to stop hurting those people!" shouted Zoey as the man's eyes turn from Chase to Zoey's, once he got a look at her, he spoke.

"We are not doing anything to them, we found your ship like this and notice that they were survivors, we're trying to rescue them and if you try to interfere then they could be an accident," said the man as Chase was quick to respond.

"So, you're not here to kill us," said Chase as the man took another breath of his cigar and then nodded as he let the smoke escape his lips. "Yes, like I said we found you all like them and decided to help, we are currently transporting your people to our ship," said the man as Chase looked to where some of the ships were heading towards, it was then they spotted it, it almost looked like a half-eaten donut but to Chase, there it was no mistaking what was seeing and where he could be as the words escape his mouth. "Star Wars," said Chase as Zoey turn to him, unlike him, she was never into that kind of stuff, so it didn't click when she saw the ship right in front of them, but to Chase, he knew what that ship meant as he looked into the old man face and spoke. "The Federation, you're with them," said Chase as he watches the man's face to see what he would say, but the man simply shakes his head.

"Sorry kid but no, I was never part of Federation," said the man as this somewhat calmed Chase as the man went on. "I was with the Confederacy of Independent Systems," said the man as this time he looks away for a moment as he was remembering. "But that was months ago, we lost the Clone wars and now we are just tiring to make a living, so are you going to give us trouble?" asked the man as Chase looked into the man's eyes for a moment but then shake his head.

"No, if you're helping us then I'm not going to do anything," said Chase as the man nodded.

"Very well then, can you land on our ship, we saw your thruster so we know you can move," said the man as Chase this time looked away, he was embarrassed as he rubs the side of his helmet. "Um about that, I can't really control this thing, it's kind of my first time driving it," said Chase as the man's face changed from stern to a look of surprise as he began to laugh.

"Damm kid, you have some stones," laughed the man as he gave a smile as he went on. "Just use your thruster to head towards us, once you close shut them down and we'll use our tractor beams to bring you in the rest of the way," said the man as Chase nodded but right as he was about to start to move, he remembered something as he turns back to the old man. "Um sir, by any chance have you found a Dustin Brooks, he my girlfriend's litter brother," said Chase as Zoey turn to face as he could see a smile on her face.

"Give me a minute," said the man as he turns away and spoke to someone off-screen, once he was back, he gave them a nod. "Yes, he was in one of the shuttles that just landed, I'll have him brought here just give me a few minutes," said the man as the screen turn off, leaving both teens to wait, as they did, they watch on as shuttles were rescuing more people from the debris field but that was not all they were doing, they were also finding as Chase watch them pulled out more Mobile suits, but there were completely different than ones he saw before, as he only ever watches the first show and never the others. "Maybe they are from a later show then," thought Chase as he watches them take more out along with what looked like large storage containers.

Chase then turns away and began trying to see about heading toward the ship to land, getting a feel of the controls he pushes the right control forward, this made his Gundam jump forward, and this made him pull back as Zoey held on to him. "Um Chase do you know how to control this thing?" asked Zoey but Chase said nothing he tried again but this time slower as the Gundam moved at a slower pace, he then used the other control to steer it, as he started to make his way outside of the debris field.

"Alright this feels amazing huh Zoey," said Chase as the said girl was currently holding onto him for dear life as they flew across space, Chase then began to start really moving it as he began to see what his Gundam could really do, all the while as Zoey was barring her face into his chest, it was already 20 minutes later when he started to see the light flash on his screen, it seems they finely got Dustin on the bridge, he then slowed down and turn to look at Zoey as he spoke. "Zoey it looks like Dustin is here," said Chase as he pressed the button as the screen turn on, Zoey then pulled away and look to see the smiling face of her little brother.

"Dustin are you okay, how are you feeling?" asked Zoey as she looks at her little brother to see if there were any wounds, finding none she nodded as her brother spoke. "I'm okay Zoe, but what about you and Chase, I saw you guys getting into the mech, are you okay?" asked Dustin as Chase took this moment to get in and wave to Dustin.

"We're doing fine Dustin, I'm heading towards you now," said Chase as he began moving the Gundam towards the ship, once he was facing it, he then activated the thruster to full power as they rocketed towards it, Zoey then made her grip tighter on him as they passed several of the shuttles that were bringing in the people and the Mobile suits, he then turns to face the Captain of the ship as he had yet to learn his name.

"So, Captain, can you tell me how many of the people are left?" asked Chase as the man came into view as Dustin move to the side. "From what we can tell, there should only be 10 more people left the last shuttle is heading towards them now," said the Captain as Chase nodded as he went on. "And what about the Mobile Suits, I see your people are taking them as well along with those containers," said Chase as the man gave him a smile as he spoke.

"Don't worry, we're not going to steal your stuff, once we-" but before could finish his sentence he looks off-screen as both teens could hear alarms and shouts as they could see the captain giving orders. "Get me a visual on them," said the captain as both teens could only watch his face as they heard a voice speaking. "It's them, Sir, the Imperials have just entered the system, there 300 miles off our portside," said the voice as the captain turned back to them.

"It looks like you're going to have to hurry kid," said the captain as Chase nodded. "But what about those 10 that are still there, will you still be able to save them?" asked Chase as the captain turn to look at some off-screen, after a few seconds he turn back. "They have just picked up the 9th one, once they get the tenth, they make their way here," said the captain as Chase remain quiet for a few seconds. "Will they make it back," was all he said as the captain gave him a look as he spoke.

"The Imperial will be here first before they will, we will need to hold them off until then, but we don't have any fighters to do so, we only have the Hammers cannons," said the Captain as Chase knew what he needed to do as he went past the ship and towards the Imperial ship, from what he could see it was the Vendor-class, so that meant either this was early in the timeline or this ship was old, either way, he would need to fight them if he was going to make sure they made it out of here, he was already trying to figure out what he needed to do when the Captain voice called out to him.

"Kid we think we found something you can use," said the captain as Chase turn to see one of the shuttles heading toward them that is when he spotted what it was bringing with it, a beam rifle and shield, he smiled to himself as he nodded his thanks to the captain, but it was then another thought came to him as he turns to his girlfriend. "Zoey, you need to leave when the shuttle gets here," said Chase Zoey was quick to look at him as she was about to protest but Chase went on. "You need to help Dustin through this, and don't worry I'll be back, I still want to live a long life with you and have a lot of children, so I'll be back with you soon I just have to hold them off for a few minutes," said Chase as he looked into Zoey's eyes only to see that there were tears coming from them, he wished he could wipe them away but he couldn't as all he could do was hold her tighter as open the cockpit door.

The shuttle was just outside as they drop off the weapons, he then turns to Zoey as he nodded for her to leave, and she gave him a smile and nod as she left the cockpit and made her way towards the shuttle as its doors open allowing her to enter and then he watched as it took off, once it was gone, he closed the doors once more as the screens showed him where the beam rifle and shield were, taking the rifle in his right hand and shield in his left he ready himself as the captain spoke.

"Their launching fighters, counting... 50 fighters, look like V-19s, these don't have any shields but their makeup in speed you need to be able to dodge, can you do that in there?" asked the captain as Chase could only say. "I can try," said Chase as he slowed his breathing, he allowed his heart to calm down as he readied his weapon, he need to be the one to make the first strike, make sure they focus on him and not on the ship, nodded he turns to the captain and shouted. "I'm heading in, eta on time?" asked Chase as he threw the Gundam forward at high speed towards the fighters as the captain was quick to respond.

"The last shuttle will be here in 10, those fighters will reach us in half that time you need to hold them until then," said the captain as he looked off-screen his face giving a look of shock as someone said something. "What! what do you mean they left," said the captain as Chase shut off the screen to focus on the battle at hand.

He turns to the screen that showed him how far he was from the fighters, it read 20, then 10, and when it reaches 5, he stops the thrusters, raising his shield and then weapon he readied himself for battle as the targeting system began giving him targets to hit, once his first target was acquired, he shot his first round, he watches as the beam travel from his gun towards the first his eyes were glued to his screen as he watches as the fighter he picks was there one moment and then gone the next, he didn't have time to wastes as the Imperials were quick to react as they started to move and then fired their cannons as he had to use the thruster to dodge and move out of the way of incoming fire, he fired another shot taking another down, he fired again but the time they were able to dodge his beam, as he fired it seem they were able to learn how to dodge his fired, he was only able to hit them one out of 3, this went on until finely his gun click signaling him that it was empty, he didn't have any more ammo for it so he simply raise his shield and ready himself to rush the fighter hopping to take some more that way, but before he could another beam came from behind hitting one of the fighters turning he spotted a Mobile Suit, it was one of those that the captain was brining on board.

Before he could say his thanks, he heard the familiar voice of Michael speak to him through his helmet. "Hey dude, did you think I wouldn't be here to help a friend," said Michael as Chase saw the comms light flashing pressing it, he was greeted by the smiling face of his friend. "Michael, what, who?" asked Chase as he was relieved to see his friend with him.

"Hey, don't forget about me, I'm still here," said the voice of Logan as Chase turned to see that next to Michael MS there was another as both suits were waving at him. he could only let out a smile as he waves back at them.

"Hey, you guys, I don't want to ruin this little moment that you're having but we need to hurry and get these guys off us," said another voice as all three teens looked at one another and nodded as Chase spoke up. I'm heading back, my weapons are empty," said Chase as Michael nodded.

"Alright dude, we'll cover you," said Michael as Chase watched as his MS began to fire beams from its shoulder Logan started to fire his own beam rifle, as, for the other girl her weapon was different from theirs, it was longer and looked like it had a scope, he was proven right as when she fired it, it went longer and was able to take out more than he did.

He was already halfway back when the captain's face appeared as he spoke. "The shuttle is in, you four come inside now, we're leaving this sector now," said the captain as Chase nodded, he then pushes the thrusters as he made his way around towards the opening in the ship, and once he was close enough, he pulled back and slowed as he spoke.

"Captain I'm ready for you to tractor me in," said Chase, as the next second the same light from before appeared as it began to pull him in, he was not alone as he already saw Logan and Michael along with that girl already being brought inside, he was all that was left, it didn't take long but once he was inside he saw that all three of them waiting there for him as Logan gave him a thumbs up with his MS as while Michael and the girl nodded there MS heads to him.

They then heard a voice speak over the ship's intercoms. "All hands prepare to jump to lightspeed in three... two... and one," to Chase it felt like nothing, but he knew they had made their escape and he was happy that none of his friends or Zoey were hurt, the only thing now was. "How do I get down from here," those were the thought of all four pilots as they waited to exit their mechs.

Back with the Imperials

Location: Open Space, Bright Jewel Sector
On the bridge of the Vortex

Captain Lagen Kain was not having a great day as he had just watched 20 of his fighters get shot down by four mechs, he had never seen this type of design before but if these Confederacy holdouts had them, then this could slow down the reconquest of the rim, that was something he could not allow, they needed to get rid of them and it needs to be now.

Turning to his comms officer he spoke. "Send Sector Command the data we recorded and tell them we will need more ships if we are going to deal with these holdouts," said Captain Kain as the officer nodded, he then turns to his second in command. "Holt, send several shuttles to the wreck and have them see if they can find anything about what we just fought maybe we find something about them in there," said Captain Kain as his second nodded as he left the bridge and headed out.

He then turns to look at the emptiness of space as he now wonders what this new machine of war will be like and what it spells for this new Empire.

And that ends Chapter 1, hope you all like this new version of the Strangers in a strange land, this will be V3, I deiced to once again remake this as when I was coming up with ideas for the next chapter nothing was set right with me, and after going over and over I deiced to go in this direction.

This will be a Star Wars and Gundam crossover but it's also a muti-crossover story, for now, it's just Zoey 101 but with more chapters more will be coming out, as for why I added Gundam it was just something I wanted to do, I been watching the shows and movies and I like the designs of some of them, so I went with this, but for the in-story reason well you will have to wait and found out.

Now onto what Gundam and Mobile suits I will be using.

First is the Gundam, it's the RX-78NT-1 Gundam NT-1, from War in a pocket, this is the second prototype suit so not the one from the OVA just another suit, as for the MS, there are currently three models. RGM-79N GM Custom, RGC-83 GM Cannon II, and the RGM-79SP GM Sniper II, how many they are I have yet to deiced but there will be more than 10 at least, as for what time this takes place well it around 2- 3 months after the clone wars, so it going to be around the Bad Batch season 1, I also planning to used old legends lore from the Star Wars The last of the Jedi Series, and Coruscant Night Trilogy and what else I can find that around this time, well that will be all for now, I see you guys next time.
