'For thoughts"

"Servant Archer at your Service," the green clothed Archer stated, "Oh hello missy long time no see," he scratched the back of his head, "no hard feelings bout before?"

A man in green appeared before her, his orange hair lazily covering one of his eyes, his deadly crossbow rested on his arm, a red command seal blazoned on his right hand, unable to hide under his gloves. Her command seal, she could feel the connection between the one on hers and his hand with his was under her control.

"Robin Hood?" Hakuno asked as he nodded and took a seat at the small desk.

"Yeesh, this world is something else now ain't it?" Robin looks around and chuckles, "Also little missy, you do something to your eyes? Got a real shine to them now."

Hakuno paused as she heard that, she looked at the counter onto the small wall mirror, her brown hair still evident but her eyes now shone with otherworldly gold instead of her previous brown.

'Aasimar then?' Hakuno read about them, the opposites of Tieflings their ancestry is from the more positive planes, from more or less angelic beings. Perhaps she was changed because the Moon Cell would be considered a divine being in this world? And if so, does she have the innate magic of them?

"So it seems that saint graphs are slightly different here, not fully sure of the changes yet but I do have more insights in alchemy than before." Robin mentioned, checking the state of his Yew Bow, his attached hand crossbow.

Her thoughts lingered on that, it would make sense for magic of this world to change how Servant's were made, add in her 'summoner abilities'. Surprised that she was able to summon a Servant she knew, perhaps this is the Regalia's way of ensuring an easier time to acclimate to her Servant? Though picking one that nearly killed her was an odd choice.

"So missy, going to go on an adventure eh? Can say I am surprised, thought you would look for a place to rest and live there your entire life."

Hakuno paused at that, perhaps that was her wish? Adventures in a world full of magic and monsters? Robin Hood would greatly assist in that regard, being raised by druids and specializing in underhanded combat would make living out in the wild an easier task.

Hakuno shook her head "At least hearing her out and getting more information would be a boon to our situation." They still did not know a whole lot about the world.

Robin nodded, "I getcha, though this world seems to be much more interesting than our previous one; Phantasmal Species everywhere, half-humans generally accepted and the gods are fully involved. Kind of surprised that none of the gods are interested in you at the moment."

A knock on the door interrupted their conversation, a glance at Robin and he nodded as he pulled his cloak up, his No Face May King Noble Phantasm activating, turning him nearly invisible.

"Madam, the meeting is going to be ready. If you would please follow me."

Hakuno smoothed out her robes as she opened her door to a tired young man. Without waiting for a response he began to lead her to the banquet hall with Robin trailing behind them.

As soon as she entered the banquet hall she could hear a loud voice "Where are they!? This is taking forever!" Hakuno saw a tall human woman, her fur outfit leaving little to the imagination with a sword almost as tall and wide as Hakuno on her back.

Hakuno zoned out as she watched her argue with a short man in purple, 'A gnome I think that is what he is, so many interesting races of people.'

Hakuno walked towards the outside of the crowd, a small woman in green carrying a large book managed to calm the two down.

"Greetings Everyone!" A woman with slightly pointed ears said as she walked in front of the giant desk. "I am Swordlord Jamandi Aldori, and this is Lord Mayor Ioseph Sellemius of Restov, welcome to my mansion."

'Swordlord, I wonder where that would fit in a noble hierarchy?'

"We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for responding to our call, though I feel like some of you are missing. We need only the best and punctual for this task!" The mayor, a man that the only thing Hakuno can really note about him is his monocle and large smile.

"Now just a recap of what the task is, South of here just beyond Brevoy's border lies the Stolen Lands. This is heavily disputed territory and many states have claimed it as their own. I won't bore you with the technicalities." The giant sword woman grunted at hearing that, "Suffice to say that your job will be to claim the Stolen Lands and name themselves Baron or Baroness as none of the other states would be able to argue your legitimacy. Of course, we shall be the first to recognize your independence."

"You become the ruler of your own nation? Ha, your old Servant would've jumped on the chance. I say Master, you shouldn't get involved with this, tomorrow we leave and try to find a safer place, perhaps nick some items in the night to pay for our lodgings."

"I think you are right Robin, with the stories of the 'Stag Lord,' Their mental communications cut as their host continued speaking.

"Unfortunately there is a serious obstacle in your way, a gang of bandits and their leader, The Stag Lord who claims his ownership over the land, once you slay him you can claim your barony."

"Which of us will exactly receive the title?" A voice in the crowd asked

"Why it would be me of course! I am the leader of this team after all! Don't worry, I'll make it worth your while to help me." The man in purple stated in his arrogant tone that vaguely reminded her of Nero, but with a different type of Charisma to it.

A short stout man near Hakuno replied, "We haven't yet begun and you already speak of dividing rewards… What makes you think we would even succeed. No point in arguing if all of us will be dead."

"We believe it would be best for your party to discuss this when you kill the Stag Lord." The swordlord stated.

"A dwarf? It's going to take time to get used to seeing fae like beings just walking around mingling with normal folk. A dangerous bandit man that brings me back, was considered one from the crown back in the day."

"Why should we trust you? What do you gain from this?" Another asked.

"Don't ask stupid questions! What they have to gain and why… That's for Lady Aldori and I to discuss! It is none of your concern! Your only concern is to swing your sword and fight." The man in purple again shouted, Hakuno was growing to dislike how rude and arrogant he was being.

"We do not intend to rule your country from afar, please know that those types of concerns are unfounded. Let's just say that we have a strong interest in that region's stability. We need a ruling power we can actually negotiate with, not a bandit gang and hordes of monsters."

'Ah there it is, they want the adventurers to build a town to keep the monsters in check, I would think that they have probably been under some amount of pressure from them for some time.'

"Do I detect the smell of unspoken words and political intrigue?" The tiefling girl from before said.

"We will absorb the costs of preparing and equipping your expeditions. Once you return victorious we will also allocate you a significant sum to provide financial support. More or less we shall help build your capital. I hope such a reward is worth this quest?" Jamandi Aldori stated her eyes narrowing slightly at the tiefling girl's statement.

"If you wish you can stay here and converse amongst each other. Once you are ready, notify a servant and they shall bring you back to your room with your food. Tomorrow, before you leave I will have a servant deliver your supplies to your respective leaders. I wish you all good luck!" The Swordlord stated as she looked around the room once more, Hakuno noticed her eyes lingered around her for a moment longer as she and the mayor left the room.

"Master, I think the best course of action is to 'borrow' some of the supplies and then when everyone is leaving in the morning, you use my Noble Phantasm to leave without being seen, and we will sell any surplus supplies and find a nice quiet spot."

Hakuno nodded, 'That would be the best, but… Do I wish to go and explore? If I wished for an adventure this world would fit the criteria for a wish like that… Was that my wish at the end? An adventure?'"Hi my name's Linzi!" The now named Linzi said as she approached moving her large book into her hand as she began writing. "I'm a bard, though this is my first actual adventure, But you seem capable! I can see the branding on your hand summoners are rare in this part of the world!"

"My name is Hakuno Kishinami, nice to meet you." Hakuno tilted her head as she spoke, why did Linzi come up to her?

"Likewise, actually I wanted to ask you something… How do you feel about this Tartuccio fellow?" Hakuno guessed it was the man in purple, "He appointed himself head of the team and he is so arrogant. I really don't like him. I just wanted to ask everyone to see if we can't get him removed from the expedition."

Hakuno thought about it for a moment before replying, "Without seeing him in combat or how he actually handles diplomacy it is hard to say he wouldn't fit being a ruler, though he does come off as rude."

Linzi cringed at that, "I understand, I just don't think he is real hero material like Amiri over there." She pointed at the fur covered woman. "I am currently writing a book on this, I just got to find who I think would fit to be the hero of the Stolen Lands. No offense Hakuno, you don't seem like you are too interested in this adventure."

"We could give it a shot you know Master, maybe not become a baron but finding a small village and living beside them, it would be an old experience to defend a small place from bandits and monsters again."

"Heroes come in all shapes and sizes, Linzi." Hakuno looked around, "Many of these people would be called heroes anywhere else."

"Here to that!" Amiri yelled as she was walking past them.

Linzi looked at Hakuno and nodded, "I am going to go to bed and think about that, see you in the morning!"

"Interesting people here Master, head to the room and I will scout around the mansion to see if I can't find anything interesting. Maybe swipe a few valuables for our journey out of here."

"Thank you Archer."

"Master wake up, the place is under attack."

Hakuno groggily woke up as she heard pounding on the door to her room, "Help! Help! Oh Hakuno, it's good to see a friendly face!" She said as she got into the room her small crossbow was being held limply.

Several gut wrenching screens broke out behind her, as the sound of battle neared.

"We need to help! Some villains broke in and are killing everyone! We need to find the guards and fight off the attackers!"

The whoosh of air was the only warning she got as a crossbow bolt fired from behind her hitting a knife wielding man in the head as he charged into the open room.

"Archer, go ahead of us and pick off the ones you can, we will be behind you."

"Aye Master!" Hakuno felt him rush out, his unseen form dodging around the short statured Linzi.

"What type of Eidolon is that?" Linzi's eyes widened as she was unable to see Robin, "And his invisibility is amazing!"

"Linzi, how confident are you in your crossbow?" Hakuno ran outside of the room with the short statured Linzi, a few more of the assassins being shot at by the green archer.

"Good enough to fight!" She fired a bolt that sunk into one of the Assassins after Robin had a few in him already.

"Master, I witnessed Tartuccio opening some doors. I didn't expect him to lead assassins into the mansion though, my mistake."

"It's ok Archer, I don't like this, why would he weaken his own team before the expedition? There has to be more to this than we know.""Agreed."Hakuno saw Tartuccio being interrogated by the assassins? Or was he just talking to them? She couldn't be sure as they were too far away to hear.

Linzi and Archer both fired shots at the assassins and Tartuccio used that moment to bring forth a wave of fire from his hands incinerating the two wounded assassins.

"You're just in time! A bit longer and I'd have been… Ugh I don't even want to think about it! It's alright now, I'm safe, sound, and unscathed ready to lead you all to victory!" Tartuccio said, a bit of worry was indeed in his voice.

"We should keep an eye on him, it must be a pretty big secret to kill his allies in front of us."

"I wish we showed up later…" Linzi muttered quietly enough that Hakuno had a hard time hearing.

"Come this way Lady Jamandi's holding the line in the banquet hall, we need to make our way there and slay all these dastardly assassins! And perhaps save some more of the hired help." He says that last part with a bit of annoyance.

Tartuccio came up to Hakuno and whispered, "Here take this ring… It's magical. It'll protect you. You'll need it while you work to defend me." Hakuno glanced at the ring, it was some sort of sigil ring that she couldn't recognize and Hakuno could feel the magic in it.

Thankful and confused, Hakuno took hold of the ring and as she did it dissolved into small cubes and was absorbed by the Regalia, the ring shining slightly, as it did she felt her skin grow a bit harder.

She still didn't like him though.

Author's Notes: Personally, I think Hakuno will actually enjoy an adventure into the unknown, seeing the world and all that it gives, a fantasy world just means there is more for our favorite NPC to do and see!

Servants are summoned with abilities changed slightly to fit an Archetype, they still will have their NP but they are more limited, such as Archer's No Face May King which will be shown a bit later. You can instead think of them as strong magic items. While their damaging Noble Phantasm parts are more restricted.

My belief for the Assassins is that they intended to kill everyone by sheer numbers, with the Frost Giant and Conjurer killing Jamandi Aldori. (Then again the conjurer is never shown from what I saw in game, but would most likely be one of the channelers.)

From my limited understanding of Pathfinder, from both Wrath of the Righteous and Kingmaker Robin Hood would closest be a multiclassed Alchemist (specifically Vivisectionist for poisons and sneak attack) and a Ranger, not sure on Archetype but a stealth focused one.

Hakuno will be a special type of summoner. I haven't figured out a spell list for her, but she will still have access to the classic Hack and Minor Heal which she will use as well as some other spells from pathfinder haven't figured out a full spell list but will play it by the ear for now. (Changed from Heal (16) to Minor Heal to make it flow better in a world where healing magic and such exist.)
