Chapter 20: Experiment Hostage Crisis

The following morning, Naia heard a knock at the door. Walking to open it she saw Cobra Bubbles on the other side.
"Cobra. How are you?" Naia asks.
"Sleepy." He said.
"Oh sorry." Naia apologizes as he walks in.
"Cobra! Thank goodness." Pleakley said running to him. "It's terrible! Just terrible! Jumba's been—"
"Kidnapped." Cobra finished.
"That's right. By..." Pleakley starts.
"Dr. Hamsterviel." He finishes.
"And he's demanding a…"
"Ransom."
"Of the…"
"Other experiments." Cobra finished.
"You're good." Pleakley said as a newly repaired Red walked in.
"How did you come across all this information?" Red asks.
"Information is power. And I like power." Cobra said.
"What should we do now?" Naia asks.
"Wait for Hamsterviel's next call. Once we have the rendezvous location Pleakley, Red and I will exchange all the remaining experiments for Jumba. From there, we follow the governmental procedure." Corba instructs.
"And what's the government procedure?" Red asks as Cobra cricks his neck making both it and Pleakley uncomfortable.
"C-Classified right?" Pleakley gulps.
"This is now an intergalactic incident. You are to take no further action other than what I have indicated." Cobra said as Leo, Ariel, and Stitch were slowly walking in. "Is that clear, Leonard?" He asks turning to him.
"Yep totally, clear. Listen uh Ariel and I are taking Stitch out for a walk." Leo said as they moved to the door.
"And not take any further action." Ariel said nervously as they went out.
"No action." Stitch adds.
"Hmm when did you get more houseguests?" Cobra asks suspiciously.
"A while ago. They know but they've also agreed to keep this secret." Naia said.
"I see. How many are there?" Cobra said narrowing his eyes.
"Uh 7. But 4 of them are down at the Marine Lab." Naia said.
Downstairs by the docks, Aquata, Adella, Attina, and Alana were tending to the fishes.
"Wow, we certainly don't have medicine like this at home." Attina said.
"Yeah, who knew the surface knew how to take care of fish." Alana said when they heard scuttling from the docks.
"Your majesties." A familiar voice said.
Looking down near the water they saw Sebastian and Flounder had stopped.
"Hi Sebastian. Does daddy miss us already?" Adella smirks.
"King Triton just sent me to make sure you haven't encountered anything dangerous." Sebastian said.
"Well…" Alana starts but Aquata elbows her shutting her up.
"Nope, nothing to worry about." Aquata said.
"Hey where's Ariel?" Flounder asks looking around.
"Oh she and Leo said they were going somewhere." Attina said.
"Those two? Those two get into so much danger." Sebastian said breathing heavily. "Oh no, I can't breathe. I can't breathe."
"Sebastian calm down. Look there's no Ursula or Marina, what could those two possibly think about doing?" Attina asks.
"Well…" The other three said.
Running down the steps, Leo and Ariel headed to the parking lot.
"We gotta move fast, we have a whole island to search." Leo said.
"Or no Jumba." Ariel said when they heard a throat clear.
Stopping the three of them saw Ruby, Arista and Andrina at the bottom of the stairs with their arms crossed.
What are you two up to?" Arista asks.
"Oh uh you know just...going on a date." Leo said.
"With Stitch?" Ruby points.
"He makes good company. Really it's nothing." Ariel gulps.
"With you two, nothing is always something." Andrina said.
"So whatever it is you better count us in." Ruby said.
"What? No way." Leo said.
"You don't, I'll tell mom." Ruby blackmails.
"And we'll tell daddy." Andrina said.
Cringing both Ariel and Leo look at each other realizing there was no way out of this.
"Alright but what are we gonna do? There's no way we can all fit in the dune buggie." Leo said.
"Uh I think Stich has us covered." Ruby said.
Looking to Cobra's car they saw Stitch hot wire it.
"Well you said you wanted to be more adventurous." Ariel said.
"I guess I did…alright but let's hurry. I may hate Cobra more than anything but if he notices his car is missing we're all toast." Leo said as they climbed in.
"You and I really have nosy families." Ariel said.
"Tell me about it." Leo said.
"Well the last time we left you two alone, we had take on a sea witch." Ruby said.
"She's got you there." Andrina said causing both Leo and Ariel to groan.
"At least Sebastian isn't here to lecture us." Ariel said.
"I guess." Leo sighs.
"So what's got you two in such a rush?" Arista leans in interested.
"We're hunting down an experiment we let out last night." Ariel admits surprising them.
"Oh you two are gonna be in so much trouble." Andrina cringed.
"We now." Leo said.
"Then we better move." Ruby said as Stitch drove.
Searching the island, the 6 of them looked around for any clues.
As Myrtle and her entourage rode by on their tricycles Ariel paused getting an idea.
"Ruby get up here." Ariel said.
Stopping in front of the car, the window rolled down and Myrtle gasps seeing Ruby up front with shades on her head.
"Nice ride Myrtle." Ruby mocks as they dropped their jaws in shock before Stitch drove away.
Bringing up the window, Ruby smiles. "That was awesome. Did you see the look on their faces?"
"Little payback for last night." Ariel giggles as Ruby hugs her.
"You're the best." Ruby smiles.
From the back, Leo couldn't help but smile at how those two were getting along.
Hours later at the Bird of Paradise Hotel, we find ourselves in the waiting room as an old man read the paper.
Suddenly from the light bulb Experiment 221 shot out destroying every electronic item in the hotel.
As they pulled up front, Leo, Ariel, Stitch, Arista and Andrina looked to see everyone running out screaming.
"I'm gonna take a wild guess and say whatever we're looking for is that way." Andrina points.
"Most likely." Arista nods.
Following the screams, they make their way to the outdoor pavilion.
"This looks promising." Ruby said as they looked around not knowing 221 was looking down at them.
"Hmm." Stitch raises his head. "Ikata!" He points.
Looking up they saw 221 race along the lights destroying several lanterns.
"Incoming!" Arista said as 221 fires electricity at them.
Doing the only thing he could think of Leo yanks out his magic mirror and it bounces off the glass.
Pausing everyone looks to Leo holding the mirror.
"Glass can't conduct electricity." Leo realizes. "I love this thing."
Growling 221 ran along the lights above.
"Split up! You guys follow him! We'll find something to catch him in!" Ruby said as they split up.
Looking around Andrina spotted a big glass flower vase.
"Wait a minute." She recalls what Leo said.
As 221 raced along the top, Stitch followed after it.
"Meega nala kweesta!" It snaps causing Stitch to gasp.
Down below, Leo looked around for a way to help.
"Aw man how do we catch this thing?" Leo asks when a book was thrown hitting 221 in the head distracting it.
"Hey you!" Looking over Leo saw Arista trying to distract it. "Hey you little monster! Come down here!"
Growling 221 tried to attack her when Ariel wheels in a big mirror stopping the attack.
"Where did you two find that?" Leo asks.
"This place has a mirror in every room." Ariel said.
Looking around 221 saw he was being cornered when Andrina and Ruby ran in with the empty face.
"Grab him Stitch!" Ruby yells.
Refusing to be captured 221 fires a jolt of electricity at Stitch knocking him back
"Stitch catch!" Leo runs in and throws Stitch his mirror just as 221 attacks again.
Using the mirror, Stitch reflects the attack knocking 221 off the beams.
Leaping in Andrina catches it in the vase before Ruby slams it shut trapping it.
"We got it!" Ruby smiles.
Walking over they bent down to look at him.
"You know he's kinda cute when he's not destroying stuff." Arista smiles.
"Yeah, just like you." Leo said petting Stitch.
Bringing 221 back to the house, Stitch was standing guard over his cousin who was still angry.
Pausing Stitch moved his ears up and down curiously.
Seeing this 221 copied him.
Getting an idea, Stitch grew his extra arms and as a result, 221 did the same. Finally using his tongue Stitch picked his nose and 221 did it as well before smiling.
"Oh cousin!" Stitch smiles hugging the glass when Ruby walks in.
"I've been working on your chart." Ruby said showing a drawing of 221. "As you can see, it's not nearly as bad as Stitch's was." Ruby said showing when Stitch was bad. "Too bad we have to give you away."
"No!" Stitch said immediately.
"What do you mean no? We gotta get Jumba back." Ruby said.
"Cousin. Ohana. Leo never get left behind." Stitch reminds hugging his cousin.
Seeing how much Stitch cared for his family Ruby smiles. "Like Leo always told me. We're one big happy family. Oh boy he is gonna be mad when we tell him this."
Instantly Stitch and 221 points to her telling Ruby she had to do it.
"Cowards." Ruby whines.
Downstairs, Leo, Ariel, Arista and Andrina were telling the other sisters what happened.
"And then I shoved that thing right in the vase." Andrina smiles proudly.
"I tell you, it was the most exciting ever." Arista smiles.
"Aw man while you were off having fun we were getting lectured by Sebastian." Aquata groans.
"Sebastian?" Ariel gulps.
"Yeah it turns out dad is gonna have Sebastian drop in on us from time to time." Adella said.
"And to check in on us but most likely you two." Attina points to Leo and Ariel.
"So uh I don't suppose he's gone?" Leo gulps.
"No I haven't." Yelping they turned around to see Sebastian by the door.
"Sebastian, so good to see you again." Ariel said nervously.
"We leave you alone for one day and you're taking the other Princesses on dangerous capture missions?! Leonard, I trusted you!" Sebastian said.
"Sebastian please don't tell daddy!" Ariel begs.
"I finally got on his good side, I can't go back to him hating me again." Leo begs.
"Come on Sebastian have a heart." Flounder said popping out of a tank.
"Flounder, what are you doing here?" Leo asks.
"I came with Sebastian, check it out. They gave me my own tank." Flounder smiles.
"Sebastian please, they helped me because a family member was kidnapped. Don't tell King Trtion." Leo said.
Seeing them all with pleading faces Sebastian sighs. "Oh fine."
Smiling Ariel gives the little crab a kiss.
"Well that's one problem down." Leo said when Ruby walks in.
"Uh Leo, we need to talk." Ruby said.
"That thing didn't get away did it?" Leo asks.
"No but first before I say anything you have to promise you won't get mad." Ruby said.
"Alright,I promise." Leo nods.
"We can't give 221 away, Stitch wants to keep him." Ruby admits.
Hearing this Ariel and all her sisters cringed expecting Leo to explode.
Pausing Leo twitches his eyes. Struggling he clearly wanted to say something before slapping himself in the face pulling himself together.
"Alright before I lose it Ruby, explain to me why after all that, all that hard work trying to find it so we can get Jumba back. Tell me why should we not trade him to get our family?" Leo asks.
"Because he my family." Stitch said walking in. "Leo say family no one left behind, or forgotten."
"Leo, I know you want to save Jumba but you can't trade away Stitch's family to save your own." Ariel said.
Groaning Leo grabbed his head annoyed before sighing. "Ugh, you're right."
"So we won't give him away?" Ruby smiles.
"No promises, but I'll try. Let's go see Cobra." Leo said as he, Ruby and Stitch walked out.
"You're the best big brother in the world." Ruby said.
"Yeah and you two are a royal pain who drive me nuts and can't give me a break." Leo said.
Leaning in Ruby and Stitch gives Leo a hug making him feel a little better.
"Yeah love you too." Leo sighs exiting the room.
"Wow, where has this Ariel been all our lives?" Aquata teases.
"Well uh I guess being around Leo for so long I'm getting better and not just rushing into things." Ariel admits twirling her hair.
Hearing this all her sisters couldn't help but giggle. "Wow if he could do that to you what else is this boy capable of?" Alana teases.
Seeing this Sebastian couldn't help but be impressed. He could never get Ariel to do that but Leo could.
Upstairs in the house, the phone rang.
"It's the call." Pleakley said going to get it.
"Be calm. Get the rendezvous information, then hang up." Cobra instructs.
"Calm, rendezvous, hang up. Here I go. Hello." Pleakley answers.
"Hello. Mr. Pleakley. Hi. This is the "New You Wonder Girdle Company" calling regarding your order." A woman said and he immediately hangs up.
"Wrong number. Girdle? I wouldn't need a girdle for my disguise because it's an undergarment." Pleakley said nervously as Maia, Cobra and Red looked at him with weird eyes when the phone rang again.
"I didn't order anything!" Pleakely snaps answering it.
"What?!" Hamsteriviel said on the other line.
"Oh it's you." Pleakley said turning to Cobra. "It's Hamsterwheel." He whispers.
"Hamsterviel! Hamsterviel!" He corrects.
Minutes later, Pleakley and Red followed Cobra to his car.
"The lighthouse in 10 minutes and don't be late. That's what he said." PLeakley said.
"Estimating arrival time, we should be there on schedule." Red said when Cobra opens the door to see the loose wires from when Stitch hotwired it.
"This is an unfortunate complication." Cobra said.
"It would take at least an hour to repair." Red said.
"I know. We can take the ridiculous Earth vehicle." Pleakley said as they drove off in the Dune buggy.
As Naia grabbed her bag, Leo and Ruby came in.
"Mom we need to talk." Leo said.
"Where are Pleakley, Red and Cobra?" Ruby asks.
"They went to the lighthouse to get Jumba back." Naia said.
"But mom listen—" Leo starts.
"Sorry Leo but I need to get to the Marine Lab." Naia said.
"But Mom—" Ruby starts.
"Just stay out of this one." Naia urges.
Popping their heads out Ariel and her sisters all watched as Naia drove away before all of them and Ruby and Stitch turned to Leo.
"We're not staying are we?" Leo assumes.
Almost instantly they headed down to Cobra's car.
"Now hold on just a minute!" Sebastian calls out.
"Oh sorry Sebastian." Running up Ruby grabs him and brought him down to the car.
"This isn't what I meant!" Sebastian said as they drove off.
As the sun was setting, Pleakley, Red and Cobra arrive at the lighthouse.
"What a stunning example of Earth architecture." Pleakley said looking at it.
"Correct, the lighthouse was created as a beacon to guide lost ships." Red said.
"Why isn't the big light all flashy spinny aroundy?" Pleakley asks.
"The beacon hasn't been lit for years too costly." Cobra said.
As the three of them waited Pleakley was tapping his fingers against the container before Cobra told him to stop.
"Hamsterviel should be here by now." Cobra said.
Suddenly they heard a rumbling noise and from above, Gantu's ship flew in and landed across from them.
Opening the hatch, they looked to see Hamsterviel climb out.
"That's Hamsterwheel? He sounded much bigger on the phone." Pleakley said surprised.
"Stop talking about me, you gossipy pea-brains. Do you have the ransom?" Hamsterviel asks.
"Do you have Jumba?" Red asks.
"Bring out the four-eyed fathead!" Hamsterviel orders as Gantu pushes out a handcuffed Jumba.
"Jumba, you're okay." Pleakley smiles.
"Enough with your teary reunion. Commence with the giving me all the experiments." Hamsterviel orders.
Walking over Pleakley puts the container down for him.
"623 experiments logged and functional." It said.
"What?! 623? There's one missing." Hamsterviel snaps.
"Code yellow. Delay movement." Cobra whispers into his collar.
"My ransom demand was for all the experiments. You are trying to pull a sneaky thing." Hamsterviel accuses.
"Ha ha, what's one experiment between old partners?" Jumba asks.
"Quiet. I am blaming you for this. Dispose of him!" Hamsterviel orders.
"Gladly." Gantu said readying his blaster.
"No! He's allergic to plasma blasts." Pleakley said.
"It's true!" Jumba said.
"Wait!" Ruby yells.
Looking over they saw Ruby, Leo, Ariel, her sisters and Stitch pushing 221 out on a wagon.
"We've got your last experiment." Ariel said.
"Wait who are they?" Hamsterviel asks.
"The little earth family and friends who are a giant pain in the rear." Gantu growls.
"Well done Ruby. Now give it to the diminutive gerbil-like creature." Cobra orders.
"Hamster-like! Not gerbil, hamster! Give it to me!" Hamsterviel orders.
"No!" Ruby said surprising them.
"Sorry but you are not getting this." Ariel said.
"I'm sorry Ruby but it's the only way to save Jumba." Cobra said.
"But we have to save Sparky too." Ruby said.
"Sparky?" Leo asks looking to her.
"Yeah that's what I named him." Ruby smiles.
"Sounds about right." Arista agrees.
"Yep. We're going to name all the experiments." Ruby smiles.
"Hmm Iki pataba." Stitch said.
"Shut up with all your not shutting up. Give it to me." Hamsterviel said annoyed.
"Leonard, please talk some sense into them. Surely you can understand the complexity of this situation." Cobra said.
"Yeah I do, I mean Jumba your my family and I can't let anything happen to you." Leo said.
"Yes, yes listen to him." Jumba said.
Hearing this Stitch frowns thinking his owner was turning on him.
"And yeah I mean come on, this thing is dangerous. I certainly don't need it around." Leo said slipping something into Attina's hand surprising her.
"So honestly, I'm sorry but this has to be done." Leo said before ripping the vase off Sparky. "Get outta here!"
Using this opening Sparky flew out of the vase and made his escape.
"NO!" Hamsterveil yells before Leo threw the vase at them causing the little gerbil to duck.
"Get Jumba!" Leo orders as Stitch ran to him.
"Begin the shooting!" Hamsterviel orders.
"Gladly." Gantu fired at them but at the last second Attina pulls out the magic mirror and reflects.
"Everyone behind it." Attina said as Stitch picks up Jumba and runs.
Screaming Sebastian narrowly avoids being crushed and leaps into Leo's pocket.
"Does this happen everywhere you go?!" Sebastian asks.
"Too often!" Leo said as they ducked behind the car.
"Code Green! Now!" Cobra said as from the ocean an intergalactic council ship rose out of the water.
"You set a trap for them." Aquata realized looking to him.
"Of course, you didn't think I would let them get away with this." Cobra said.
"Well to be fair last time we met you were pretty mean." Arista said.
"Dr. Hamsterwheel you are hereby ordered to surrender." The Grand Councilwoman orders.
"It's Hamsterviel, you absurd Grand Councilwoman with your large pointy collar!" Hamsterviel insults rolling the pod away.
"Prepare to fire." She orders as two giant cannons were aimed at the rodent.
"Don't shoot! He's got Stitch's cousins!" Ruby yells.
From the hill, Sparky was looking down at this.
"Cousins." Sparky said launching himself down and entering the ship causing everything to shut down and short circuit.
"Major electrical surge. All systems failing." One alien said.
"Brace for impact!" Councilwoman said as the ship hit the rocks.
"Hurry up, you great lumbering idiot!" Hamsterviel said rolling the experiments to the ship with Gantu behind him.
"This is Cobra. 10-13. 10-13." Cobra said.
"All systems offline. No injuries reported. We're all right." Councilwoman said.
"Jumba, you're okay." Ruby smiles as he walks over.
"That's twice you girls helped save my family." Leo smiles.
"Guess we're tied again." Andrina said.
"Leo! Leo!" Stitch calls out.
Looking to the ship they saw Hamsterviel trying to get away.
"Leo help save family?" Stitch asks.
"You bet." Leo nods.
"I'm coming too." Ariel said as the three of them ran to ship
"Leo! Stitch!" Ruby ran to try and join them but at the last second Attina grabs her.
"Oh no you don't." Attina said.
"Let me go! I have to help them!" Ruby said trying to break free but it was too late.
The ship took off with Leo, Ariel and Stitch inside.
"What do we do now?" Adella asks worried.
"We hope they can pull off another miracle." Cobra said.
Up on Gantu's ship, Hamsterviel looks to at the pod.
"Container ready, select experiment." It said.
"Oh ho ho ho! So many nasty experiments. I shall wreak mayhem on the stinky Galactic Empire." Hamsterviel grins when suddenly Stitch drops in and takes it.
"Thank you." Stitch said.
"What?" Hamsterviel gasps.
"You little trog!" Gantu growls.
Acting quickly Stitch threw the container to Leo who caught it.
"You looking for this?" Leo asks.
"You annoying earth boy." Gantu growls firing at him but Leo ducks.
"Ariel!" Leo said throwing it to her who caught it.
"Those don't belong to you!" Hamsterviel said.
"Same to you." Ariel said when she noticed a window nearby. "Stitch open the window."
Getting what she was doing, Stitch pressed a button opening it up.
"The window!" Gantu gasps as Ariel runs to it.
"Give those back." Hamsterviel orders.
"Whoops." Ariel said throwing it out the window.
"No!" Running to it, Gantu reaches his arm out the window and grabs the container. "Phew."
However he held the wrong end and all the experiment pods and they all rained down towards Kauai.
Down below all of them saw experiment pods raining down from the sky.
"It appears our friends were quite successful." Red said.
"Our families are pretty amazing." Ruby smiles.
"Yeah, they really are." Attina smiles hugging the little girl close.
"Very good." Jumba smiles.
"Very good? Well, it's not very good. It's the opposite of very good. It's very bad. 625 experiment pods activated by water raining down on one of the wettest spots on Earth?" Pleakley points out.
"Technically only 623." Jumba corrects.
"I'm afraid Pleakley is right. This is indeed very bad." Councilwoman said.
Up in space, Leo and Ariel were thrown in a cell container while Stitch was thrown in his own.
"This should keep you three out of trouble until Dr. Hamsterviel can dispose of you properly." Gantu said walking out.
"Well this could have gone better." Leo sighs.
"At least we saved Stitch's cousins and Jumba." Ariel said as Leo sits down. "It's crazy to deal with, isn't it?"
"My life has been crazy ever since you came into it." Leo said getting her attention.
"What do you mean?" Ariel asks sitting across from him.
"My life was normal, but not easy. I thought as long as I kept doing what I was doing everything would work out. Never once gave a thought to my own wishes or dreams. Then when I met you I suddenly got pulled into one amazing thing after another until the life I knew was completely turned upside down. But…as crazy as it was I started to enjoy it. Stitch, Ruby, Jumba, Pleakley, Red, your sisters and you. I felt for the first time I was on a real fun adventure." Leo smiles.
"Really? Everything? Even the stuff you thought was crazy?" Ariel asks.
"I'll admit, I still think it's crazy but when I'm doing stuff like this with all of you. It becomes less crazy. What I'm saying is, I really wish you and I had more adventures together." Leo said.
"Me too." Leaning in Ariel kisses Leo on the cheek. "And we will."
"How?" Leo asks.
"You and I have dealt with way worse. We just need to find a way out of this." Ariel said.
"Yeah but how?" Leo asks when there was a rummaging in his pocket.
Crawling out they see Sebastian gasp for air. "You really need to clean that pocket out."
"Sebastian." Ariel and Leo smile thinking they might have a chance after all.
A few minutes later, the three of them were cuffed and brought to Hamsterviel.
"You think you are so…" Stopping in front of them Hamsterviel saw Leo was looking down at him. "Phone book. Phone book!"
"Right." Running down the hall, Gantu went to get them leaving them in uncomfortable silence until he placed a stack in front of Leo allowing Hamsterviel to look him in the face.
"Ahem. You think you are so clever, don't you? You think you have outsmarted the infamous Dr. Jacques Von Hamsterviel. Well, you made one grave mistake, you pathetic Hawaiian boy. You delivered me Experiment 626!" Hamsterviel said pointing to Stitch. "I will now clone him and create my own personal army!" Hamsterviel laughs.
"What shall I do about these two?" Gantu asks looking to Leo and Ariel.
"They are of no use to me." Hamsterviel said walking out with Stitch.
As Gantu took Leo and Ariel away he didn't notice Sebastian leap out of Leo's pocket.
"Oh boy, I can't believe I let them talk me into this." Sebastian groans following after.
In the cloning area, Stitch was restrained and while he tried to escape he couldn't.
"Struggle all you want. You think you are so super-strong with your "I can lift up to 3000 times my weight." That is exactly why I designed this restraint to hold your weight times three thousand and one." Hamsterviel declares.
Growling Stitch looks to see a large machine dropdown.
"Unfortunately, my patented cloning process has one nasty side effect. I have to cut you in half." He declares as a laser shot down and moved towards Stitch's gut.
In another room, Gantu threw Leo and Ariel into a transporter.
"Aquata and Arista were right, he is a big dummy." Ariel groans.
"Tell me about it." Leo groans.
"I know a nice zoo that will pay handsomely for a pair of specimens such as yourselves." Gantu laughs causing Sebastian to gasp.
"No." Sebastian said scuttling in as fast as his little legs could go.
Sneaking under the computer, a blinking red light goes off.
"Emergency alarm activated!" Computer said.
"Location?" Gantu asks.
"Detention cell 2." It said.
"Not again." Gantu groans leaving to investigate.
Entering the cell, he looks down to see 625 on the phone.
"625? What's the emergency?" Gantu asks.
"I need to know our coordinates. I just got us a deal on a bunch of bologna." 625 said causing Gantu to growl.
In the cloning room, Stitch was doing everything he could to avoid being lasered in half.
"The suspense is killing me." Hamsterviel smiles.
Little did they know, at the top of the machine, Sparky pops his head out to see Stitch in trouble.
"Cousin." Sparky said before entering the machine causing it to shut down.
"What's happening?" Hamsterviel gasps as Sparky shot out of the machine and freed Stitch.
"Thanks cousin." Stitch smiles.
Growling both experiments glare Hamsterviel down before locking him up on the same table he put Stitch on.
"Come on, I wasn't really going to cut you in half. It was a joke. Didn't Jumba put a funny bone in you?" Hamsterviel asks as Stitch growls at him and Sparky gets the controls online again.
In the teleportation room, Sebastian was running along the controls.
"Hit that one!" Ariel said.
"No that one!" Leo points as both tried giving him orders.
"Will you two make up your minds?!" Sebastian whines smashing his claws down on a button making the pod open up. "Oh it worked."
Smiling both ran out and Ariel picks up Sebastian.
"Thanks Sebastian, you're the best." Ariel smiles giving the crab a kiss.
"Aw it was nothing really." Sebastian smiles when Stitch smashes a hole in the door.
"Stitch!" Leo smiles.
"Leo!" Stitch smiles hugging him.
"What are you doing here?!" Gantu asks storming in.
"Sebastian hit another button!" Leo said.
"Which one?" Sebastian asks.
"Any button!" Leo said as Sebastian jumps on one and a glass pod shot out and hit Gantu in the head.
"Run!" Ariel said grabbing Sebastian before running through a door before it closed.
Shaking it off, Gantu followed after them as an alarm went off meaning his ship was about to depart.
"You are not taking my ship!" Gantu said entering it but only saw 625 inside.
"Hey, Gantu, where's my bologna? I got nothing here but cheese." 625 asks.
"Where are they?" Gantu asks.
"Who?" 625 asks.
"The Earthlings and 626." Gantu said.
"I don't know, not in here." 625 said when the doors close behind them.
"Huh?" Gantu turns to see Leo, Ariel, Stitch, Sebastian and Sparky waving at them from the other side.
"Bye-bye." Stitch said.
"Have a nice trip." Ariel said.
"Hit it Sparky!" Leo orders as Sparky zaps the controls causing Gantu's ship to detach.
"The navigation is disabled." Gantu gasps as the electricity even zapped 625's cheese sandwiches.
"Ah Grilled Cheese." 625 smiles eating it.
Plummeting down onto Kauai, Gantu's ship crash lands in the forest near a waterfall.
Climbing out Gantu groans sitting down on a rock.
Following him with a handful of sandwiches, 625 sits next to him.
"I don't think we're going to be going anywhere. Looks like you and I are working together, huh? Sandwich?" 625 offers.
"No, I don't want a sandwich! Um…Unless you have egg salad." Gantu said.
"Nope, only cheese. Have you not been paying attention?" 625 glares.
Back at the lighthouse, everyone was waiting hopeful that their loved ones would return when from the night sky Hamsterviel's ship landed in front of them.
As it opened it we saw Hamsterviel all tied up and Leo, Stitch, Ariel, Sebastian and Sparky waving at them.
"Aloha." Leo and Ariel said.
"Leo!" Ruby and Pleakely smiles.
"Ariel!" All her sisters smile.
"My genius experiment!" Jumab smiles.
"Another miracle." Corba smiles.
"These manacles are too tight, you miserable, oppressive do-gooders, you." Hamsterviel whines.
"Oh shut up." Sebastian said clamping down on Hamsterviel's tail making him scream in pain.
"Dr. Hamsterwheel." Grand Councilwoman acknowledges.
"It's Hamsterviel!" He corrects.
"We catch bad guy. You're welcome." Stitch smiles.
"Place him in the high-security gerbil cage." Grand Councilwoman orders as they took the evil rodent away.
"Hamster cage! I am hamster-like! I will be back, you slobbering stinking humanoids and other aliens!" Hamsterviel snaps before being brought into the ship.
"Now, only thing left to deal with." Leo said looking at Sparky. "You like making lots of power, but the problem is everything you make breaks. You need something that can handle a lot of light."
Listening to Leo, Stitch gasps getting an idea.
"Ooh. Injibay." Stitch said getting their attention.
"What is it Stitch?" Leo asks as Stitch points to the lighthouse.
Smiling Leo and Stitch brought Sparky up to the top where the beacon was.
"Here, try this." Leo said hooking Sparky up to it.
Pouring all the electricity he wants into it Sparky relite the whole lighthouse much to everyone's amazement.
"Whoa, that's pretty cool." Adella smiles.
"Leave it to my big brother to find a useful outlet for an evil experiment." Ruby smiles.
"This planet just never ceases to amaze." Pleakley smiles.
"It is beautiful, which makes it all the more tragic that Earth is now infested with illegal genetic experiments. I'm afraid I have no choice but to evacuate the planet and have them destroyed." Grand Councilwoman declares.
"What?!" Everyone gasps including Stitch and Leo as they came down.
"Wait! Wait! Wait! Lady listen!" Arista said as they ran to her. "We managed to catch one and make it power a lighthouse in one day."
"And Leo managed to make one into his housepet." Attina said.
"Give them a chance to make these things good." Andrina said.
"And not destroy the planet." Adella adds.
"Please, give us a chance and I promise we will not let you down." Ruby said.
"Hmm. Very well. I won't destroy the experiments. If you can retrieve each and every one and find, as you say, the place where each belongs." Grand Councilwoman bargains.
"But they're out there right now and they're all very bad, right?" Pleakley asks.
"Yes, is true but once experiment is turned to good is completely useless for bad. I'm trying to fix that with 627." Jumba said whispering the last part.
"Bad idea." Red said immediately.
"I hereby designate this team as Undercover Intergalactic Experiment Retrievers." Grand Councilwoman said looking to Leo, Ariel and their sisters. "Oh and…Stitch too." She adds.
"Well looks like we might be up here a while." Aquata said
"This is crazy talk! There are 625—" Pleakley starts.
"23." Red corrects.
"Whatever! How are you gonna find them all?" Pleakley asks.
"Hey, I've found quite a few amazing things under the sea, I'm sure we can find them on land as well." Leo smiles.
Little did they know all over the island quite a few experiment pods were already getting wet and releasing the experiments inside.
Running to the Dune buggy, Leo, Ariel, Ruby and Stitch hop in.
"Just when I think you and are done with this sort of thing, something even crazier happens." Leo said.
"Oh you know you love it." Ariel giggles.
"Come on, we got 625 cousins to find." Ruby said.
"623." Stitch corrects.
"Uh hold it right there." Attina smirks.
Looking over they saw Ariel's sisters lean on the sides.
"We're not letting you have all the fun." Aquata said.
"You're gonna need all the help you can get." Arista said.
"Plus, if you don't we'll tell daddy." Adella smirks.
"I guess we have no choice." Ariel smiles.
"Are you sure they can handle it?" Cobra asks.
"Ruby is a very persistent little girl." Pleakley said.
"And 626 is very strong." Jumba said.
"Paired with Ariel and her sister's taste for adventure and Leo's brains and responsibility the odds of them working well together are in our favor." Red calculates.
"No absolutely not." Sebastian said scuttling over. "When King Triton finds out about this—"
"But he won't Sebastian. Because you're not going to tell him." Andrina said.
"What?" Sebastian said.
"He entrusted you with keeping logs on us, so if anything goes wrong you get blamed." Ruby said causing the crab to drop his mouth in shock.
"Okay I am really starting to love this family." Alana smiles.
"Come on everyone get in!" Ruby said as they scramble to make room resulting in Ariel sitting in Leo's lap.
"Guess I got my wish, you and I have lots of adventures ahead of us don't we?" Leo asks.
"Yes we do." Ariel smiles kissing him on the lips. "And that's fine with me."
Driving off, this new group of experiment catchers cheered eager for a new adventure while Sebastian just groaned.
"Oh I'm too old for this." Sebastian whines.
