Wandering Under the Sun
Chapter 2: Charge Forward
Yamaguchi hovered around Hinata who had been shakily apologizing to Tanaka about his pants. The red head had been so horribly nervous all week and his mates had been at their wits end with worry. It all ended with the omega vomiting all over poor Tanaka on the bus ride over. Kiyoko who Hinata had met previously eased down the young omega her own alpha instincts had her easily crooning to the small teen protectively. It only made Hinata's made worry more as Hinata became an even greater stuttering mess.
Tsukishima admitted to Yamaguchi that maybe teasing the kid about being kicked off the regular spot was a bad idea. The beta of their pack had been aggravated with both stupidly stoic and stupidly mean-spirited alphas in their immediate pack.
Kageyama had been closed off and more focused on training since the announcement of their upcoming practice match against aoba johsai. Hinata despite having had a good leg up on his training was practically wilting as the days blurred by. As amusing to Tsukishima as it was it was still odd to see both Hinata and Kageyama on different spectrums of intensity. One intensely focused the other intensely freaked out.
Yamaguchi was so frustrated with them all he took an extra futon he had brought from home and took to sleeping in their study room. Now everyone slept alone and poor Hinata was still a mess. Their cohabitation didn't seem to be going so well…
Focusing back on the situation at hand though.
Tanaka waved off Hinata's apologies, his already developed instincts only aimed to soothe the distressed omega. Suga was smiling menacingly at Kageyama who had dared raise his voice at the already upset Omega of his.
The red head scrambled off seeking out a restroom ignoring Tanaka's yell of 'Coming out if both ends, I'm impressed!'
Yamaguchi wanted to follow after his Omega but damn Hinata could run. The team followed into the building only a bit after the red head encountering a few students of the volleyball team they would be facing. Though both Tsukishima and Yamaguchi warily eyed the boy's who had only moments before been not only talking badly about their team but their new mate. Their king, and it pissed off the two childhood friends knowing others could dare disrespect what was theirs.
Tanaka and Tsukishima immediately began intimidating the opposing members and Kageyama only offering a single remark confirming the Karasuno team was his new loyal subjects. Earning a smack from his upperclassmen Tanaka and Daichi. It would seem their worry for the stoic teenager was unfounded. The rest of Karasuno decided it would now be a good time to head inside seijoh as both Suga and Tadashi were concerned over the still missing red head.

Tsukishima though was the first through the door to see his little omega being crowded by another member of this opposing team. From scent alone he could tell the teen was like him, a pre alpha on the cusp of hitting full puberty soon. The dark haired onion headed volleyball player by was practically purring after their omega.
A low growl rumbled out of the pre alpha's throat but his beta was quicker than him zipping across the corridor and pushing between the onion teen and Hinata. Yamaguchi was practically hissing at the offending male crowding their small mate.
Tsukishima and Kageyama were both just suddenly there towering over them as well hiding their now blushing omega away from prying eyes. Hinata himself well he was so embarrassed that he was a stuttering mess behind the three of them.
Daichi sighed but immediately drew attention over and called his team to their side, though his mate had too been growling at the offending boy. Suga had a protective streak a mile long and cooed to Hinata and his mates once the small boy was returned to his side. Eyeing how Suga interacted with their first years Daichi knew it was only a matter of time until Suga would offer them a chance to join their future community. Seeing how the beta and omega of the first year group reacted to his own omega made Daichi cement the idea that it would be a well-received invitation.
So, he knew for a fact it would be up to him to lead the two emotionally combative alphas in the group. Daichi sighed heavily knowing this was going to be a long year.

Hinata seemed to calm down from his nervousness…well until they started playing the actual game. Yeah, he was probably still nervous as Kageyama's head quickly made friends with the volleyball all on his account. Hinata was sure that would probably become a recurring nightmare for him.
Though the setter head smacking himself with a frozen demon smile scared him more than anything he had ever faced in his entire life.
"Is there something you fear more than hitting a serve to the back of my head." Kageyama had spoken eerily with a frozen smile on his face. That would probably be number one in the nightmare scale.
It didn't help that Tsukishima and Tanaka were laughing in the background alongside several others from the opposing team.
"No? The hurry up and go back to normal Dumbass!" Then Kageyama turned away and went to focus back onto the match and Hinata's heart fluttered.
If he could get away with that without consequence, then he could do anything!
"We're a team Hinata, remember that." Tanka spoke up making the red head smile brightly.

Hinata felt a shiver of fear slither up his spine when he saw the brown haired Beta enter the court to take position as a setter. The red head was already annoyed when he targeted his snarky mate and called out the great king that taught their own stoic setter. Hinata didn't care, if Kageyama feared Owikawa Hinata would have to be the brave one for them.
So, he rose to the challenge and despite his own tredaptation he would face this head on…hopefully.
He slightly regretted having those brown eyes aimed his way but despite him aiming his serve at Tsukishima who luckily dug up the serve but it got sent back to the opposing court. Hinata zipped through the court only focusing on getting them a point. In a flash he stopped Kindaichi who had geared up to spike the ball.
"Nice one touch Hinata!" Tanaka called out while their team readied up to make a counterattack.
Finally, he soared and narrowed his own gaze at the brown haired setter spiking down a shot just behind him. Karasuno won their practice match and Hinata brightened smiling largely as Yamaguchi was the first to hug him in congratulations.

Iwaizumi was joined by his mate Oikawa and stared at the fiery haired omega. The boy's collar easily identified him as one. Iwazumi's beast practically purred the Omegas way wanting the pretty little things attention. Oikawa too focused a warm gaze toward the delicate little thing.
Though Kageyama crossed their view sending them back a hard glare and baring his teeth at them before heading off after his mates. Tsukishima had not missed the interaction and too sent a cold glare the pairs way on his way out. Both the young alpha made it pretty damn clear, that was theirs. No touching.
Kageyama veered off to the restroom and Hinata soon headed in that direction for the restroom once more. Though he found his alpha in the middle of a conversation.
"-Next time we'll beat you." It was the onion haired teen and Kageyama stoic as ever responded that their team would be the winners. Hinata practically glowed with pride as his idiot mate had at first been reluctant to work with them and now look at the king.
"Uhh by the way, that omega on your team. What his name?" Hinata froze and Kageyama turned away from his former teammate catching Hinata awkwardly trying to hide.
"He is none of your concern, that is my mate. I will not allow my mate to let someone who would turn their back on him in our community." Kageyama ignored the growl come from his former teammate and tugged his blushing omega away back to their team.
He wanted out of this fucking school and he definitely wanted his omega out of this school. He kept an eye on his mate who had scampered over to walk at Tanaka's side. Hinata had been embarrassed by Kageyama's bold statement. They all still barely got along but the alphas instincts would not stand for their omega to be seduced when they had not even done so. Yamaguchi was just inherently possessive himself so he didn't fight his own growing instincts.
Until Oikawa came to give their group a visit, then the omega hid behind his alpha upperclassmen Tanaka hyping him up as he threatened the smug looking setter.
"Your offense is certainly great but, if you don't get better at receiving you won't fly but soon hit the glass ceiling you aim for." He strode their way looking closely at the red haired omega. "The inter high preliminaries are coming up. Don't get knocked down now." Oikawa spoke looming over Hinata who was doing his best to be as small as he could be behind Tanaka.
Yamaguchi wrapped his arms possessively around his small mate glaring at the other beta who's gaze was all for his omega. Tsukishima and Kageyama did their job and blocked the rival beta's view of what was theirs only half listening to his words.
When the Karasuno team left Kageyama, Tsukishima and Yamaguchi had to play several rounds of rock paper scissors to win the seat next to Hinata. Kageyama won and slipped in next to their mate.
Yes. They weren't close or bonded or anything like that but Hinata was still their mate. Their still subdued instincts would always rise up when an uninvited rival dared proposition their mate.
They each knew what the brown haired beta wanted and they each knew it was only the beginning. Hinata was still unbonded unlike Suga so a lot of alphas and betas saw it as invination, and it set his mates on edge when facing a competitor.
Though it was all forgotten when they returned to their shared dorm apartment. They took turns showering which was quick as they had two bathrooms. Hinata was already sleepily making his way to his heat room after having taken what little energy he had to eat leftovers.
Though the omega was stopped by Yamaguchi who nervously stood by the doors room. The beta wasn't an alpha and Oikawa was a beta not an alpha. His insecurities were surfacing, and Tadashi worried his mate would prefer a different beta who was better skilled at volleyball.
Someone like Oikawa, it was clear his other alpha Kageyama had a history with the older beta and Yamaguchi wasn't sure what to do. He didn't want his omega to refuse to bond with him in the future because there were better prospects out there. Sure he would have to share his mates later but the bond was his, it was theirs and he didn't want his omega or alpha to leave him.
"What's wrong Yammy?" Hinata's honey gaze was intensely focused on the beta and though hesitant he gently held his hand. Tadashi smiled shyly before pulling the smaller boy into a hug.
He could not confess such vulnerability to the omega, he would not be able to handle it if his fears were confirmed.
"Can I sleep over in your secret room with you tonight?" Yamaguchi smiled softly and Hinata blushed bright red.
He didn't think meant to ask such a question in the way his mind told him. Neither of them had hit a second puberty yet and Hinata was sure Yamaguchi did not intend to proposition him so boldly.
Seeing Hinata's brilliant flush and realizing how still and quiet he had become made the taller of the two replay their conversation in his mind. Yamaguchi smacked his face in his own embarrassment.
"Ah! I didn't mean it like that Hinata. I just meant for us to sleep together." Tadashi whimpered in even more embarrassment cursing himself for putting his foot in his mouth again. "No like just sleep next to each other not actually sleep together not that I wouldn't want to sleep with you." Tadashi was plotting his suicide by now. "Cause we are strangers but mates and you and uhh I…we could but no." Hinata's soft giggle pulling Yamaguchi out of his panic.
"Sure I wouldn't mind a sleep over." Hinata smiled brightly and Yamaguchi eased down before following at the omega into the cozy room.
Tsukishima and Kageyama pouted from down the hall both huffing and splitting off to go to their respective beds. Each making their own plots to get some along time with the omega as well.

The next day at practice Kageyama stared in shock as a newly arrived omega easily picked up his serve and returned it to the setters passion. Hinata was buzzing in excitement around the smaller teen who had long brown spikes of hair with a tuff of blonde.
"Noya san!" Hinata was already hugging the excited omega who was a stranger to Kageyama. The setter had heard of him as Hinata had spoken about a libero who was on suspension from club activities. Kageyama could plainly see three bond marks under the collar the libero omega wore. In the excitement Tanaka and several of their senpai's joined them.
Nishinoya purred as Enoshita and Tanaka came up welcoming the boy. Kageyama could conclude that those two must be two out of three of his bondmates. Hinata blushed watching them affectionately greet each other and glanced away only to catch Kageyama's warm gaze aimed his way. Daichi and Suga were snickering at both Hinata's reaction and the overly affectionate mates.
Hinata himself blushed a brighter red and looked away from his mate immediately.
"Where's Asahi?" The libero spoke up making his mates flinch and look away.
"Oh so that jerk has the nerve to leave our shared dorm and skip practice." Noya was practically growling and Hinata observed the situation. He intended to find out all about this situation and but his nose into it as well.
In fact, it only took a few hours for Hinata to find out all the information he needed to know. He left his senpai in a buzz of happiness and set off with his alpha to go make a visit to the third years classrooms.
Kageyama wrapped his arm around Hinata walking through the halls glaring at the older teens who eyed his unmarked omega hungrily. Hinata was oblivious to it all and only happily latched onto his mate with easy affection.
They found Sugawara talking to a tall long haired teen.
"Asahi wait!" Hinata and Kageyama parroted the teens name making him stop and look at the duo.
Hinata lost his confidence for a moment and hid behind his tall scary looking mate. Suga introduced them and Hinata realized the friendly smile and kind atmosphere around the ace eased him.
Though the older boy's refusal to join them back in the team made Hinata's smile dim a bit. The omega didn't feel it right to play without someone who he truly considered a rival.

The next few days of school and training went as per usual till Takeda sensei came in excitedly telling them about another volleyball practice match at the end of golden week. This time with Nekoma. Ever since the older man had seen the display of talent from Kageyama and Hinata he had been a burning blaze of determination to get the passionate boys any opportunity to improve.
The teacher was gone as fast as he came and the teens had to resume practice. Hinata was a buzzy ball of excited energy from that day all onward.
It only made the Omega to persist and speak to the former ace once more. So, the next day he dragged his setter along and they confronted the teenager.
"I've lost my ability to visualize what it is like to break through. The blockers are always right in my way. I feel like I will continue to get shut out and the thought of that freaks me out the most." Azumane spoke with a pained smile on his face.
"Uhh this may seem cocky coming from pipsqueak first years but I know what you mean. I'm short and get blocked all the time by blockers, and I have almost no technical skills to avoid being blocked out." Hinata looked at the taller teen with fire in his gaze though.
"Now though I can get past any blocker thanks to his tosses." He clung to Kageyama's side and pointed up toward him mate who was eyeing him entirely. "The blockers fade away and the view on the other side of the net opens up to me." Asahi looked stricken and stared down at the omega and young alpha before him.
"I'm jealous of you, right now I don't have height or power to break through blockers but you do. I know you've been blocked a lot but you've scored way more times than you've been blocked right? That's why they call you the ace." Asahi looked shocked and silence settled over them until the bell rang making Kageyama shoo his mate away and back to class.
Kegeyama did stop a moment catching the older alphas attention. "Excuse me for saying this, it's only natural that you can't win by yourself, that's why there are six people on the court. Though I've only really started to believe that so I'm not sure is I can be the one say such things. Pardon me" He inclined his head and turned off to get to class.
Both boys left behind a contemplative karasuno ace.

During practice Taketa returned with a coach. Coach Ukai the former coaches grandson and an alumni from Karasuno. Also, one of Takeda's mates and the two looked like opposites. Takeda the brown haired mousy teacher and Ukai the bottle blonde delinquent looking coach. Ukai brought along several other alumni for a practice match and nearly dragged a spying Asahi into the gym to help even the teams.
There was a moment of tense silence between Asahi and Noyo but the game started up easily enough.
It ended with the omega libero telling his mate to just 'Please call for a toss, Ace!' That made the taller man more determined and brought him back into the game itself as he did just that.
Everyone being a bit bewildered and shocked at the amazing jumping ability of the red haired omega.
In that Asahi got his own burst of confidence back and slammed down his own spike onto the opposing side of the court. Thus making Hinata himself more determined to face off against Karasuno's ace.
Then Kageyama and Hinata showcased their freak quick and shocked coach Ukai, Asahi and Noya. The match continued until Hinata was smacked face first by a spike from Asahi himself.
Everyone scrambled around the small omega who was making pained noises. Tsukishima frowned looking over his at his small mate. "It's his fault for standing there all spaced out." Kei huffed annoyed his omega was hurt and blamed the kid for not paying attention.
Yamaguchi was one the sidelines panicking about the smaller teen. Stuttering about head injuries and amnesia. Takeda sensei was right alongside him panicking as well being calmed by his mate Ukai.
Kageyama…well he had a much different reaction. "Why were you daydreaming during a game?" Hinata nearly choaked and scrambled away from the threatening aura his mate was producing.
"I know you are envious about the power and height of someone like Asahi." Hinata grew pale under Kageyama's calm rant. "Being an ace is cool. Being a decoy can't be my best weapon it so stupid and lame. That's what you were thinking. Right." Hinata refused to look his mate in the eyes.
"What's wrong with being jealous, I've always been short you would never understand." Hinata scowled right back and they were briefly interrupted by another teacher checking in on the gym.
When the match was to resume Kageyama pointed to Hinata while facing the opposing team. "I'm going to give the next toss to him. Please block him to the best of your ability." Kageyama ignored the irritated huff given off by his short mate.
Kageyama walked away from his exasperated omega and spoke. "Right now you are just a klutzy idiot who happens to have good balance and jumping ability. You will never be a breadwinner ace." Everyone froze with both Tanaka and Asahi trying to stop the first year setter.
"But with me around, You're the greatest!" Hinata jolted a moment confused. "Azumane's spikes are forceful and strong enough to break through a triple block.
"Eh not everytime ehh uhh-" Asahi said shaking a bit nervously.
"Now what about you? When I throw you tosses do you ever get stopped by blockers." Hinata frowned and they started up the game again.
The red head froze seeing the wall of towering figures ready to block his coming spike.
"Evade! What else can you do dumbass?" Hinata zipped forward and to the left as the wall followed him prepared to jump. Then bolted quickly to the far right jumped and slammed down a spike earning them a point.
"You aren't the ace, but with your speed jumping power and my tosses, You can take on any blockers. The ace blast through for a point, you evade for a point. A point is a point! You don't need to wear the ace's crown, you can hit more point than anyone. You are who our opponents will be watch, you will be why our spikers will have more opportunities for a hit, thanks to your decoy skills! Right?" This time Kageyama looked to Tanaka who jolted but easily agreed.
"Do you still think your job is uncool?" Tobio was gasping for breath after his rant slightly flushed from embarrassment.
"I don't." Hinata mumbled softly.
"Huh?" Shoyo looked up to Kageyama's blue eyes and clenched his fist.
"I don't!" He shouted at him.
"Good." Kageyama said and the game resumed after the first year duo gave their apologies for interrupting the game.
Ukai looked to his mate contemplating a question. "Teach, how long have the two known one another?" Takeda looked to his mate and frowned.
"Kageyama and Shoyo only just met through the government program." Ukai looked over in the teens direction a look in his gaze.
"What a shame."
Yamaguchi watched intensely as the game went on with the opposing side winning due to Shimida's jump floater serve. The teen was so enraptured by the serve and a small fire bloomed in his chest from the observation.
Both Kageyama and Noya were teased by the adults for their sweat speeches aimed at their respective mates.

The first years were all awoke early the first day of golden week and practically dragged by their omega who had taken the liberty of packing for everyone. Hinata was excited for training camp though Tsukishima reminded him they had to get through school that day first.
Though when they got through the day and training as well they all were herded into the training lodge for the volleyball team. Hinata was buzzing around excited but quickly stolen away while his mates took his things to settle in.
Hinata had been roped in by Kiyoko into helping prepare dinner and was just as startled as her when Nishinoya and Tanaka were seen a laying on the ground looking hollow. The omega did his best to ignore his flushed mated standing only a bit further off from the two downed idiots who seemed to get life back once spotting Hinata and Kiyoko in aprons.
Tsukishima and Kageyama growled at them for eyeing their little omega though.
At practice the next morning Hinata had woken Tadashi and Tobio to got for their morning run as Tsukishima threatened his lift for waking him without coffee. Kageyama had taken Kei for his word and started bullying his other two mates into running with him and Hinata when they were home but Tsukishima wasn't having it today.
Kageyama and Hinata's competition of testosterone and idiot behavior was only emboldened by them having to race up a hill during a team training exercise. So much so that the Omega charged off…far and got lost. Yeah he definitely hadn't heard his team calling for him.
Hinata looked around himself realizing he had probably gotten off track and maybe took the challenge too far. A soft sweet scent hit the short middle blockers nose and Hinata perked up.
He spun and spotted someone who seemed focused on a phone not too far off. Hinata's smile was wide, but he hesitated not recognizing the uniform of the small two toned haired boy. An omega just like him, and the black scent blocking collar at the boy's throat only confirmed it.
"Hey! Whatcha doing?" Hinata startled the teen who looked at him with large catlike amber eyes.
The teen looked away from the red haired teen flushing lightly, "Well, it's umm I'm just lost." Hinata gave a soft hum and crouched by him.
"Is that game fun?" The teen kept fidgeting.
"Umm not really. Just trying to pass the time." He looked down and away from the curious teen.
"You play volleyball?" Hinata remarked and the other boy looked at him oddly while Hinata pointed out his gym bag. "I saw your shoes, they're for volleyball right?"
The two toned teen gave a soft affirmation to the question.
"I'm in volleybally too. I'm Hinata Shoyo. So, what's your name?" Hinata asked as the other teen nervously squirmed.
"Kozume." Hinata cocked his head to the side a moment.
"Is that your first name?" He kept watching the cat like gaze flicker back and forth.
"No it's Kenma. Kenma Kozume." Hinata was smiling wide and it only made the other boy blush.
"What's your year? I'm a first year!" Hinata was proud.
"Second." The pair fell into easy conversation with Kenma observing the red haired teen quietly.
"Ahh an upperclassmen sorry!" Kenma shrugged off the apology.
"I don't really mind, don't really like the age based hierarchy stuff." Hinata hummed softly while Kenma focused back on his phone.
"Do you like volleyball?" Kenma paused a moment and shook his head.
"No, I play it cause it's there. I don't mind it but I hate getting tired out. My inner pack mates all play though and they need me to play with them. I'm only playing through high school though." Hinata smiled gently and settled to the side of the teen but noticed three sets of teethmarks on his slender neck hidden by hair and his collar.
"What position do you play?" Hinata was excited meeting another omega not on his team.
"Setter."
Shoyo was bursting with internal glee. "You are nothing like our setter he's all grr and growly. Oh! I'm a middle blocker. Though I'm sure it's strange to see seeing as I'm short and all some people think it's strange."
"Hmm yeah, I guess so, but people say the same about me. I'm not very athletic and yet I'm on a volleyball team. Though I guess it's not me who's good but my team is good." Kenma finally looked up at Hinata who observed him quietly.
"What school do you-"
"Kenma." Hinata was interrupted from asking his question by a tall teen with black hair that fell over part of his face. He kind of looked like he had a serious case of bed head. He was leering at Hinata but his gaze fell to the other omega.
"Kuroo." Kenma spoke softly and stood to join him. The taller of the two grabbed his hand and Hinata figured this had to be one of the teens mates. Kenma turned back a small smile on his face. "See you later Shoyo."
Then the two teens were gone leaving Hinata to wonder why he phrased his goodbye that way.
"Hinata! We've been looking for you, your mates are kind of freaking out you know." Hinata turned to greet Suga who gently began to jog back the way they came. Hinata blushed and immediately began apologizing about going missing.
They ran in silence for a moment and Suga spoke up. "You always give your all in practice don't you."
"Yeah, but I need more practice." Hinata spoke shocking Suga a moment. "I still need to improve. It's frustrating I don't get treated like a real player unless I'm paired up with Kageyama. I still want to be in the game and play, to stand on the court." Suga stopped running making Hinata stop as well.
"Same here. I also want to stand on the court. It's why I fight using my own methods. Let's go or we'll be late for lunch!" Suga began running with Hinata right at his side.
Though on their return Hinata was promptly scolded by his beta and tried to ignore his alphas who were looking him over as well. He was trying to will away the flush realizing they were scenting him in between their search.
Later that day they were given their uniforms and Hinata was happy to note he was given the same number as the little giant he so idolized. His eyes practically sparkled making Tsukishima frown and Kageyama scoff over his gushing. Yamaguchi was jealous as well, but he just hid it better.

The next day they got to face Nekoma and Hinata immediately launched into greeting Kenma who was on the opposite team. The two were chatting until a dominating teen with a blonde mohawk surged forward.
"Hey, what business do you got with our setter." The older boy's eyes immediately fell to the nervous red haired omegas collar and he immediately flushed and melted looking down at the cute boy who was a stuttering mess.
Tanaka though charged up immediately protecting the small omega on their team. Despite him not being his mate Tanaka felt omega's and women deserved to be protected and handled delicately.
"What business you got with our first year huh?" Tanaka was glaring at the opposing teen pushing Hinata behind his form. Before either idiot could get into it they were stopped by Suga and a smaller teen from Neckoma with soft summer orange hair. They immediately began scolding the boys then apologized to one another.
The mohawk teen who Kenma called Yamato was along with his mates part of Kenma's community. Yaku who was a beta their libero and speaking to Suga was one of Kenma's and Kuroo's mate along with a first year who would not be at the practice match.
Yamato though was currently weeping over the beautiful female manager they had and their pretty omegas. Mostly over the red head who was just so small and pretty.
Everyone was hurried in by the silently at war captains of each team and set to warm up and line up for their practice match. Inuoka from Nekoma immediately zeroed in on the small omega surprised at his position.
"You're tiny!" He spoke immediately affronting the omega in question.
"Are you mocking me?" Hinata was set to be upset but the ernest boy only smiled.
"No, I'm not." Hinata immediately brightened and Kageyama scoffed making his mate flinch and internally apologize.
They bgan their match and right off the bat Hinata immediately shocked everyone when he and Kageyama did their freak quick. Kenma observed the small middle blocker and when a time out was called he gave observations to his team. He did agree with his coach though, if Hinata were to spread his wings he could become a greater threat than he was currently.
Karasuno did end up losing the practice game but the omega had immediately caught Kenma's and Kuroo's interest. It had been unexpected and their mate Yaku was off on the phone yelling at their last mate.
"Ne kitten, I think I've found a baby bird I want to play with." Kuroo spoke and his mate frowned at him.
"Stop being a pervert for five seconds please." Kenma spoke walking away. Tsukishima took this moment to observe his mate who was speaking in what had to be idiot language with the middle blocker who had spoken to Hinata before the match.
He observed how the teen eyed Hinata's collared but unmarked neck and frowned to himself. Soon they were leaving to finally returned to the student dorms.
Tsukishima hesitated after their return home. He had wanted to ask if Hinata wanted to sleep in the bedroom. He wasn't in his heat room though and Yamaguchi was in the shower preparing for bed.
He found Kageyama using Hinata as a stuffed toy on the couch. The pair were fast asleep and Tsukishima felt a flush color his cheeks as he watched two of his mates snuggled together. Jolting out of the thought he left the room to find a smiling Yamaguchi clean and fresh prepared for bed. Tsukishima tugged Tadashi into the bedroom and curled up refusing to let the beta escape affection.
Tsukishima really wished he could have found a way to trick his two idiots into sharing a room. His instincts were starting to wear him down as it seemed to begin doing with Kageyama. Tsukishima knew the ourburst of emotions as of late had to be because they were mates but he could not help it, none of them could.
Their entire beings literally called to one another and it was starting to bug him. Tsukishima plotted all the way into slumber.

The days passed and finally the interhigh matches were starting up. Everyone observed the Hinata who seemed to be looking around excitedly. Alphas and betas we practically pouring out their pheromones toward the oblivious and pretty omega who was being tugged alongside his beautiful team manager.
Noya and Tanaka overheard a few guys whispering about approaching either of them to ask them out. Noya and Tanaka spurred into action growling and glaring at anyone looking at their precious manager and innocent omega of the group until Kiyoko smacked them to stop.
Hinata was immediately crowded by his mates put in the middle of all three who glared at anyone who dared press forward.
They moved forward the entire team until they were stopped by a towering teenager with no eyebrows and ice white hair. He was silent and merely pointed at Asahi. From their uniforms they all observed they were from Date Tech.
A small teen shuffled forward immediately apologizing and scolding the teen until he asked for help from a teen named Futakuchi. A tall teen with light brown hair and a handsome face moved forward to help push the silent teens arm down.
"Sorry Aone has a habit of singling out a teams ace." The pair pushed the tall teens arm down successfully. "Be prepared to lose, no hard feelings though, right cupcake." Futakuchi spoke the last bit looking straight at Hinata who was immediately tucked further into hiding by his mates.
The Date tech team turned to leave but not before Futakuchi smirked down at the tiny red haired omega of the group and blew him a kiss.
Soon after that as they were preparing to go in their first match everyone observed Hinata freaking out. Kageyama was immediately concerned…for the back of his head that was.
Asahi offered up some advice. "Think of an experience that scared you more than anything, scarier the better."
Hinata immediately fell into thought until the image of a frozen smiling Kageyama appeared in his head and he was soon at peace with his fear. Kageyama didn't know what it was but he felt like Hinata wasn't thinking kindly of him in that moment.
They moved to warm up in the gym only to hear a familiar voice.
"Tobio chan, Chibi chan having fun with your freak combination?" Oikawa smirked from the bleachers his mate smacking his hand as he was greeting them. Iwaizumi eyed the omega for a long moment before tugging away his idiot mate.
The match began making many people confused seeing the delicate looking omega on the court.
"Eh he's not a manger. He's got to be barely pushing 5'5 they have taller players on the bench." Hinata ignored the words intently focused.
Kageyama calculated each play having both Tanaka and Asahi make a point and grumbled looking into his omegas pleading eyes.
"Shut up! I know!" He yelled at his mate who only smiled back at him. Tanaka was up to serve and in a quick flush of movements Hinata was soaring high and slamming down a spike drawing attention from everyone in the gym.
It wasn't their quick but it did showcase Hinata's amazing jumping abilities along with his mobility. The match was quick despite all doubts that Karasuno were fallen champions they had won against Tokonami High and let the team keep their dignity while at it.
Iwaizumi groaned softly eyeing the small omega and his mate chirped softly. "I'm losing my stupid control around the kid." Iwaizumi spoke and allowed his mate to lean against him.
"It's because your body wants an omega, since ours refused our bond you want one that would be loyal to use. Instincts Iwa chan, they don't steer us wrong." They both turned back to the team before Iwaizumi pulled back collecting himself.
"We got a match to play if we want a chance to play against them again. Let's go." Seijoh left to go to their match while two of them held thoughts about a flame haired omega.
Futakuchi practically drooled in eager excitement catching glimpses of the pretty omega. One of his mates Aone too watched the small middle blocker and they were both eager to play against Karasuno.
"When we win I'm going to ask cupcake for his number Aone." A single nod was given in response and the two eagerly watched the small boy being tucked into his setters hold. Being nearly dragged out of the gym.
They could wait and would enjoy watching their cupcake up close.
