Chapter 4: Hormones
Hinata lit up seeing two familiar faces from his middle school days. The red head zipped over eagerly greeting two teens.
Kageyama and Tsukishima were both tugged by their beta to see who these two strangers were.
They were both only slightly taller than the omega one had pale brown hair and the other had dark brown locks.
"Eh Sho, don't look now it's that asshole setter guy." This came from the dark haired teen and Tsukishima smirked over at his mate who's blue eyes crinkled in annoyance.
Hinata glanced their way almost surprised but smiled brightly.
"Eh it's fine, that asshole is one of my mates." Hinata gestured his mates over and introduce them to his childhood friends.
Izumi Yukitaka was the pale haired beta who was practically cooing over Hinata. Koji Sekimukai the dark haired taller boy was also a beta and the two were mates part of a bonded group already.
Both teens wished their friend luck and Hinata spent the remaining time teasing Kageyama while Tadashi and Kei observed from the sides.
Though the calm joking mood evaporated as soon as they stepped onto the court. Nervous and nearly having panic attacks both Shoyo and Tadashi were threatening to be ill.
They calmed down by the arrival of Shiratorizawa and everyone was surprised most of the opposing team was full of alphas. Several betas here and there but not a single omega. It was a wonder how the alphas didn't clash as a team unit with how many there were.
Many of the tall alphas gazes followed the three omega on the Karasuno team, especially Hinata.
"Oh my! The little cutie isn't a manager." A red haired beta spoke and even Hinata could hear him asking this toward the impassive Ushijima.
Hinata pushed away any thoughts of the other team and focused on warming up with his team. Slamming down a ball straight down to prove a bit that despite being an omega he had some ability.
It shocked many who had been doubting the Karasuno team.
When the match started it though they were blown away by a powerful spike made by Ushijima himself. They knew this was going to become a grueling match.
It was hard to adjust in blocking because Ushijima's the ace of their opposing team was left handed. Shiratorizawa quickly racked up a consecutive five points until Tanaka slammed down a spike.
It was pretty one sided until Nishinoya started being able to pick up Ushijima's shots. Shiratorizawa swept up the first set while Karasuno was adjusting to their ace.
The second set though they were faced with the guess blocker Tendo Satori whose hair was so red it made the teen look vaguely vampiric. When Tsukishima was before the beta he had the nerve to call the blonde mr. normal. That was until Tsukishima blocked his spike with almost natural ease.
"Hey, I'm mr. normal and your time lag might trick my bouncy idiot but it won't trick me." Kei ignored the grumpy shouts coming from his tiny idiot and smirked down to the annoyed beta middle blocker on the opposite court.
They played back and forth a bit till Tanaka slammed a spike down between two players.
"Tsutomu, that was your damn ball! If you're gonna stare at someone at least stare at the omega or a girl!" The ace in training short circuited hearing his coach yelling at him.
His young face looked confused and he stuttered out a 'yes sir' to the yelling.
Tsukishima took initiative in the second round. Timed their blocks and where to block so Nishinoya could pick up the balls the easiest. Karasuno won the second set but Shiratorizawa reigned in the third set. It did not deter the blonde alpha Tsukishima, who pressed forward on using tactics and logic to help their team sweep up points.
Even pulling his rambunctious fire haired mate into his plans so the omega could get a one touch slowing down a spike by Tendo. Kageyama immediately used this opportunity to do a setter's dump earning the team a valuable point during this long set.
Hinata was running toward his mate in excitement "TSUKISHIMAAAAAA!" The omega was seen hugging the taller alpha being complimented for his big beautiful brain.
Tsukishima was fighting off a blush and shoving his omega away, but he didn't fool anyone. When they resumed the game it was back to a push and pull of points and right when Karasuno needed it Tsukishima stuffed Ushijima's spike right back at him. It shocked everyone and finally Tsukishima gained a bit of the insane love for volleyball in the middle of a match winning a set from their opponents. It sparked an echoing call from his team as they burst into excitement over his feat.
Hinata was awed and seemed almost inspired by the amazing block done by the blonde alpha. They had taken the fourth set because of his mates astounding efforts.
The final set was being led by Shiratorizawa especially when a spike done by Ushijima injured Tsukishima's hand. Even despite Kakgeyama being pulled from the set as well, they still somehow managed to pull through.
Though Kageyama was brought back for the final fifth set and with Hinata at his side they pushed for points, as if they were starving for it. Hinata still holding an internal struggle awaiting the return of Tsukishima the short middle blocker did his best to run on instincts covering their weak spots.
Even going so far as to do a close receive with a spike from Ushijima that sent that ball right back to Shiratorizawa's court earning Karasuno a point.
Tadashi was even brought in and racked up points until they tied with Shiratorizawa 13-13. Karasuno. Though Karasuno lost their edge and when Shiratorizawa was at fifteen points to Karasuno's fourteen Tsukishima came back in.
Karasuno and Shiratorizawa did not relent on one another through the final set until Karasuno hit twenty points. With a final moment Hinata blended into the teams group attack, and it was like time stopped for the small middle blocker.
Hinata jumped and slammed down the final point for Karasuno. They beat Shiratorizawa and were the one's going to nationals.

Hinata was standing exhausted legs shaky and had to be dragged by Kageyama to line up and bow out.
It was euphoric for the omega and as he stretched out he came to a slow realization stretching in the middle of a gym. His body was still amped up and his body began to twist and warm in places he had never expected. The dim glow coming from the single gem on his collar gave him all the information he needed. His heart began to thump and slight panic took the omega for a brief moment.
As if he could read it like a book Tadashi was beside his mate holding an unsuspecting pill. The beta was blushing but had been encouraged by Suga to take the pill to his mate. Hinata blushed looking at the unassuming pink pill before swallowing it down immediately. He double checked to collar ensuring it was secure and flushed under the heavy gaze of the few that had caught onto what was happening.
Shoyo avoided his mates gazes determined to not be the one to bring attention to his current problem. Though nothing could be talked about, they had yet to broach many topics outside of school and volleyball let alone their mussed-up feelings for one another.
Ushijima approached Hinata who was immediately flanked by Kageyama.
"Hinata Shoyo, Kageyama Tobio. Next time I will destroy you, then you will heed my request." Hinata sighed and Tsukishima materialized next to his mates.
"You will not agree to that." He turned furious and pointed a finger at the towering alpha opposite his idiots. "And you! What exactly are you trying to gain from my omega." Tsukishima was angry Ushijima had to nerve to try the same shit again.
"I wish for him and Kageyama to accept a chance of den courting. This will obviously extend their entire den as well." Ushijima was calm in his tone and Tsukishima short circuited. Hinata blushed and snorted before facing the large alpha. The Omega had figured as much and called over their den beta into the conversation.
"I will be stronger next time and win next time. Also, you can just get to know me and my pack, I don't think den courting should be something left up to a match." Hinata laughed softly and it eased Ushijima a bit who only swallowed nervously before calling over his mates. The alpha was nervous as he knew he was not great at social situations when trying to court other dens.
His attempts with Oikawa and his stand alone mate proved as much that he was no social butterfly.
Hinata was faced with the guess blocker Tendo, the aspiring ace wanna-be Goshiki an annoyed Shirabu and smiling Semi.
The only betas were Shirabu and Tendo as the other's were alpha's. Tendo was in both Tsukishima's and Hinata's space and the small omega smiled gently.
"You better get their permission but you will have mine to get to know me better." Hinata aimed this at Ushijima who had dug out his phone and handed it over to the small omega. Hinata punched in his number and drew over Yamaguchi to introduce him to the bold den asking to be future interest.
It was the first time someone asked for den merging and it seemed both Tsukishima and Kageyama were broken from the request. Den merging was when two different groups of mates all intermingled with each member romantically the end course being the opportunity to be heavily involved with one another amorously.
It meant they wanted to date them and not just the omega for more than breeding purposes. A compliment of sorts as it said the top ace saw them all as worthy to be associated to. It also meant if it was necessary one den would take care of the other financially or even physically if needed. It was uncommon for such a young den to get such a favored offer as most dens were only built on loose and general community ties.
Hinata had grown up in an environment where his community was practically all den merged. He knew it had to do with his fertile family background but also their personalities. Like a strange big group marriage that would bond you to another group, and any group the either den decides to take in as well.
Tadashi was doing his best to not fluster when meeting the opposite den mates and practically clung to the still stunned Tsukishima as Hinata handled the social interactions with ease.
The omega waved off the other den his phone now had five new phone numbers and his mates now had potential community members. Hinata grinned at his mates his body finally cooled down thanks to his medicine.
Hinata was immediately pulled away by Suga and Nishinoya and both older omegas glowered after Hinata's mates.
"No jumping him unless he say's so." Tsukishima and Kageyama looked confused but Yamaguchi just blushed and agreed.
Both alphas looked tot heir beta who waved off the omegas who were going to ensure Hinata was safe to jump on the bus.
"What did we miss?" Tsukishima looked down to his mate and Kageyama was as well looking at Tadashi but his face was scrunched up in concentration.
"You guy's didn't notice?" Yamaguchi was flabbergasted then again Hinata was wearing the scent blocking collar but even he noticed the glow of the single gemstone in the collar working.
The collar was thick and locked on to Hinata's slender neck but there was always a gem centered in the collar to let you know if the omega was in heat. It only glowed when he was in heat though otherwise it just passively worked to suppress his natural omega pheromones.
Thankfully, Takeda sensei always ensured to keep an eye on these things and always made sure to carry extra medication for the omegas of their team when needed. The medication repressed all symptoms of an omegas heat, wiped away the pain but the body still slicked, they were uncomfortable, but it was manageable.
Tadashi snickered at his mates before tugging them into a small huddle. "Hinata is having his first heat." Yamaguchi burst out in laughter as both his alphas stopped functioning once more.
"Uhh do we get him ice cream or food or what do we do Tsukishima!" It was safe to say that Kageyama was panicking. Tsukishima was still frozen at his side despite Kageyama shaking the blonde alpha in his frenzy of questions.
"Guy's chill, he took some medicine and Tsuki's mom prescribed him medication after his last check up. Just take Shoyo's lead and it will be fine." Yamaguchi sighed, his two alpha's had never even had their second puberty and were freaking out over their omega who was growing up. Yamaguchi felt his intincts rise to care for their mate, finally the beta would be able to progress their stunted relationship. It had been really uncomfortable being the only one really aware of the others in a sexual way, now he'd have some awkward company.
Luckily, he was a beta and his second and first puberty were intertwined, no extra surge of hormones necessary. He would be the calm because Hinata was going to need one of his mates to not be loosing it.
Then again Hinata was unusually comfortable with his omega side but one thing was for sure, his mate was still a stranger to him. Kageyama and Hinata were close to one another and there were days Tadashi was a bit jealous. Now that his little omega was finally past the threshold of puberty the beta knew instincts would be a driving force to help them bond, and he was eager for it.
For so long when Yamaguchi joined them on activities often. They knew the basics about one another but despit goring close because of their living situation, Tadashi and Hinata didn't talk about much. He needed to do anything and everything to build a foundation when Hinata's newfound hormones were buzzing. Right now there was just a bond of friendship between them.
That needed to change.

Hinata peaked his head out of his heat room and Tadashi smiled gently handing him a plate of food. Though to even Tadashi's nose his mate smelled delicious, and it was interesting because Hinata still wore his collar. His body twinged imagining how his omega would smell without the overpowering scent suppression.
Hinata took the plate of offered food but spotted the curious heads of Tsukishima and Kageyama watching him from down the hall. The two pre alpha's didn't want to accidently speed up a chance for their ruts to start.
It was a common thing that happened when around omegas in heat and they had all agreed it would be wise for the alphas to come into their second puberty naturally. Hinata waved toward them and they waved back before Yamaguchi was tugged into Hinata's heat room. The red head had shut the door and locked it fidgeting while Yamaguchi eyed his very big and fluffy nest.
"You have a very pretty nest my omega." Hinata practically melted to the words and crooned to his beta mate. Right now he was running on mostly instincts and urges. The small omega tugged his beta into his nest he was still clutching the plate of food. Yamaguchi was at ease as he settled into the soft mound of fabrics and his small mate settled atop him, practically curled in his lap.
Hinata nibbled on his food, mostly consisting of fresh cut fruits and veggies. They had all eaten dinner but Hinata would need more nourishment and their omega seemed to prefer raw veggies and fruits for his after dinner meals.
Yamaguchi ran his fingers gently through the omegas fluffy hair and looked around the room he was in. The walls were cushioned and everything in the room was soft and textured to be comfortable to be even pressed on. Hinata had built a large nest of pillows and fluffy blankets in the center of the nearly bare space. There were locked cabinets that Yamaguchi had no clue what they held.
This was his omegas room, his omegas kept the room closed off and refused to allow them to explore it's confines. He spotted a door that led to a small bathroom with a small tub. Tadashi had only been in there once before and it was only to sleep next to the ball of sunshine. It was his first time noticing the other door.
Hinata pressed a sliced peach to his betas lips and Yamaguchi bit down on the juicy fruit. Shoyo looked pleased and relaxed into his betas loose hold nibbling on the rest of the fruit.
With the medication in effect all the pent up sexual energy would translate into clinginess and it pleased Yamaguchi a bit to share that with his little mate. Tobio and Kei had to wait to hit their first ruts before they could be allowed the clingy privilege.
All the alpha's ruts did when an omega was not receptive to intercourse was make them overly possessive of their mates and close den mates. They would feel the urge to claim their mates but otherwise were harmless. When an omega was receptive alpha instincts easily urged them to mate, even betas would not be immune to the call of an omega in receptive heat. For that to happen though, Hinata would have to take off his collar and be in heat, without the heat though his pheromones would still have a draw to his mates. Omegas all had almost hypnotizing scents and the overwhelming pheromones are what drew mates to them. Alpha mates have a hard time resisting the scent because it only calls them to claim their omega, to bond with them eternally. Betas have to be led by alpha hormones and omega pheromones to trigger their bonding reaction.
"So, how are you feeling?" Yamaguchi gently asked him little omega who was now trying to shove another slice of a peach in his mouth. Tadashi bit down on the fruit and Hinata smiled brightly.
"I feel fine but I just want to take care of you all really badly. I wish I could have made our bed a big nest but I don't want to force our alphas into their first ruts." Hinata snuggled into the cozy arms of his beta nearly falling asleep.
"I'm going to check up on them and I'll be back with your morning medicine and water for you." Yamaguchi smiled at the sleepy nod that was given and settled his omega down onto the plush nest before taking his dishes and slipping out of the room.
Both Tsukishima and Kageyama hovered around the beta, they were trying to discreetly scent him and Yamaguchi snorted finding this entirely amusing. Hinata would be at school as his medication kept him feeling normal, maybe a little more hungry than normal but their omega would be able to live a free life easily like this.
Tsukishima was reminding Yamaguchi of all the things to keep an eye out for their mate and himself if Hinata's urges snuck up on them. Kageyama was incessantly asking how both Yamaguchi and Hinata were doing and if either of them needed anything.
Tadashi found it all adorable honestly, they were all being so soft but Hinata needed some attention right now and the alphas had each other to lean on. Collecting his things Yamaguchi reassured both alphas that they were both fine and to get rest.
He was soon slipping back into Hinata's heat room setting the pink pill and a glass of water on the only dresser table in the room. It was pretty bare but Hinata was pretty minimalistic when it came to things for himself. His omega was curled in the fluffy nest reaching for the beta.
Yamaguchi crooned toward his mate and settled into his side with ease. Hinata immediately fell asleep and Yamaguchi was soon to follow.
It felt like it was still far too early in the morning when Tadashi awoke next. He blinked bleary eyes in the dark room but the soft whimpering is definitely what he recognized. Hinata was laying next to him, and Yamaguchi rose in the dark room to flick on the light. It was a dimmer light and knowing his mate might be sensitive to a bright glow he barely lifted the knob allowing a soft glow to illuminate the room.
Hinata lay where he had left him, his collar's normally iridescent stone was glowing and active in trying to confine Hinata's scent.
His omega looked a mess, sweaty and panting, fiery hair a mess with tears shimmering in his honey eyes. He looked to his beta mate in want and need and Yamaguchi knew it was definitely time for his next pill.
Swiftly he fed his mate the medication and had him drink down the water before lifting his sweaty mate over to the attached bathroom. Hinata was oddly light and easy to carry but clung tightly to Yamaguchi his own instincts urging him to allow his mate to do anything to his malleable body.
Tadashi started a warm bath to clean off his mate and set to undressing Hinata. He wasn't shy or embarrassed, he had seen him mate naked often enough when out at training camps and such.
Hinata was vulnerable in this state and needy but very submissive to his mates. Without his medication he would be weak to advances of other's unable to even form words at times.
Yamaguchi undressed himself and carried his mate and himself into the warm bath. Running water down Hinata's body seemed to soothe the panting omega and it was soon afterward that Hinata came back into his own senses.
Grateful to be taken care of Hinata settled back into Yamaguchi's hold. They were both nude but neither felt the urge to press for more and honestly that was welcome.
Hinata and Yamaguchi soon slipped out of the tub and drained the water to dress in their school uniform. They both shuffled out of the room Hinata wary of the kitchen where he could hear noise but Hinata was settled down onto the couch.
Shoyo's omega crooned out for his mates through him, he heard a soft curse and some shuffling before his honey gaze spotted his two alphas peering at him from the kitchen doorway.
"Kei, Tobio." Hinata's eyes glistened and he fought the urge to reach for his mates. Yamaguchi came into the living room with a plate of scrambled eggs bacon and toast. He set a glass of milk next to the food and Tsukishima was holding out another plate and milk.
Tadashi took it and Tsukishima kissed the betas forehead before he could retreat to Hinata's side. Hinata ate his food nearly mourning the fact that there wasn't more.
Kageyama had settled that by tossing an apple at his mate from the far distance and was soon shooing their omega and beta out the door with their lunches.
Tsukishima and Kageyama groaned simultaneously once they were gone. Hinata's warm sunny scent and Yamaguchi's cool scent were driving them both a bit crazy. Just knowing their omega was in heat practically clinging to their beta only made each alpha want to covet their mates, tuck them away and claim them both so no other would dare to. It had more to do with the knowledge that their little omega was in heat, they couldn't smell any bursting scents from him due to his medication and collar. It didn't stop either of them from being overly anticipatory.
Hinata being in heat also made their beta seem just as sweet and tempting as the omega, hell each alpha was finding one another appealing. They resisted their subdued urges and ate swiftly before heading off to school.
It was going to be a long fucking day.

Hinata soon found himself wrapped up in a bundle of warmth and cuddles from the two omegas on his team. Suga and Nishinoya were both purring contently and snuggled up with the sunny omega.
They had come in during his lunch and snatched the omega away from his mates. Shoyo hadn't minded because he had P.E after lunch and he would be exempt from it since it was his first heat. His body being unused to taking any medication of any kind would still be adjusting to the hormone balancing and it was his first time wearing a slick pad. It was exhausting and he was oddly sore all over.
He just had wanted cuddles and food which his upperclassmen happily and eagerly provided both. Hinata could see his three mates along with Daichi, Asahi, Tanaka and Ennoshita all observing the omega pile secluded in a corner of the courtyard. Ennoshita and Yamaguchi were pestered by all the alphas to take food to their mates, though both being betas belonging to the omegas as well made them both eager to see to their mates demands.
Nishinoya purred when his mate Ennoshita came holding sweets offered from Asahi and Tanaka. The smallest omega ignored the offered treats and tugged his beta to him. Ennoshita sighed and Suga curled on his other side but it was expected. The two packs were bonded and Ennoshita was the only beta other than Kiyoko. Hinata watched them curiously but the omegas fawned over their beta so Hinata looked to his beta.
The flame haired omega jumped into his green haired betas arms cuddling the taller boy who lifted him with ease.
All the alphas watching them pouted childishly but allowed the omegas the cuddle time. Especially Hinata, as he was learning by example and he was glad to note his mate was great at snuggles.

Hinata was a bit listless by the end of the day heading toward the gym for practice. He climbed the stairs to the club changing room but slipped and was falling back but everything felt faded.
Arms easily caught him and Hinata could vaguely hear a growled out 'Boke' behind him. Lifting his honey eyed to meet blueberry blues the omega found himself wrapped in Kageyama's arms.
Hinata purred at his mate who seemed to finally realize the position he was in. Kageyama was supposed to keep space between the omega and himself but in his competitiveness to beat his mate to the club room…he forgot.
Hinata was plucked out of Kageyama's arms and into Suga's own. The pre alpha whimpered but held himself back from charging forward to collect his mate.
Hinata just looked so soft and warm, and Kageyama felt like he was under a spell but wasn't equipped to meet his mates needs. Daichi came up and his own soothing pheromones eased the pre alpha.
Suga and Daichi were grateful Hinata always wore his collar, or else Kageyama would have been more affected by his hormonal mate than this. They were mates and that bond alone made Hinata affect the alphas without meaning to but neither boy had the full instincts to complete the bond like Hinata would need.
Yamaguchi would but as a beta he would be unable to go through the ritual without guidance from an alpha mate.
Hinata himself would be too pliant to be of any help, but his slender neck and body would be all he would need for the ritual.
Suga took Hinata to the second changing room the omegas sometimes shared with their beta females. They knocked and at Kiyoko's calm enter Suga carried in the lethargic omega.
The beta manager was on them immediately looking over the smaller omega before snickering and tugging over the duo.
Moments later Hinata was happily munching down some sliced fruits the beta provided him. "You need to eat a bit more when you are being affected by your heat." Kiyoko was doting over Hinata and Suga was cooing at the boy but Hinata understood.
He had to take better care of himself.
After practice that night Hinata zipped back to the student dorms and began dinner. He had beaten all his mates home and was halfway done by the time Kageyama stepped through the door. Like a ball of boundless energy Hinata was swift in cooking but his heat nearly made him fizzle out at the end.
Yamaguchi was quick to take over and finish up the food while Tsukishima looked over Hinata and Kageyama's school workbooks.
Hinata was fed and once again swallowed down some medication, though Tsukishima made some mention of Hinata going to a check up with his mother later in the week.
Hinata's heat ended the next morning and they were all relived his heats were so short.
The omegas pushed through the week until his doctors appointment. He was healthy and like his parents before him very fertile. Tsukishima's mother warned him that it would not take much to get him pregnant, to be careful if they were not yet ready to conceive. Hinata was flushed by the end of the appointment but was given contraceptives to use when he was ready to use them.
The end of the week came up and Takeda sensei came into the room with news. He looked upset but plowed through with the information.
Kageyama had been invited to the all-Japan youth camp. Tsukishima was invited to the first year training camp at Shiratorizawa and then Takeda looked to Hinata almost upset having to offer up the information he had.
"Hinata has been invited but not as a trainee, but as a ball boy. You will share a room with your mate of course and food will be provided. You will also be required to interact with the Alpha and Beta third years. He said that is a must if you wish to be allowed to stay at the camp. You will not play in any of the games though." The room fell into silence that was almost suffocating. Even the flame haired omega could read between the lines, he was offered an opportunity only because of one thing.
He was an omega.
The coach did not see value in training him but in ensuring these other players got the opportunity to have a connection with one of the few existing omega. It was an opportunity though. One his second gender gave him and Hinata would take this opportunity and use it to the fullest.
He would make coach Washijo see him as more than an omega one day. For now though…he would have to swallow his pride.
"I'll do it." Hinata's words were final and he ignored the annoyed huff coming from his blonde alpha and grumbling coming from his raven haired alpha. They were angry for him, he was their mate and in a way he had been insulted but Hinata didn't care.
Yamaguchi clapped his back and Hinata looked to the angry faced beta. "Learn everything you can Hina, make him one day eat his words." Hinata smiled softly and realized Yamaguchi was trying to soothe his internal hurt.
"Stop making me want to marry you Yams." Hinata laughed as his beta blushed and flustered making his two alpha complain about being excluded from the flirting.
Hinata could do this, his mothers had been right though. Him being an omega gave him great opportunities and he would use each and everyone offered to him. He'd prove himself worthy one day.

Tsukishima eyed his mate and frowned noticing the other alphas and betas in the room eyeing his collared mate eagerly. Hinata hitting his second puberty was a blessing and curse for the blonde alpha.
Shoyo got even prettier if that was possible. His wispy flame haired locks curled around his beautiful face and made him look so doll like. His body was curves so deliciously in made his mouth water when they changed in the locker rooms. Though other alphas seemed to enjoy the lovely sight that was his little omega.
Tsukishima ogled as well but that was his mate, he was allowed to drink down his image. His mind had been at war as he and Hinata had prepared for their first day of the camp in the locker room before this. He had shoved his little omega into his t shirt he had worn overnight. Kei wasn't sure what came over him but something in him urged him to ensure his little mate was covered in his scent. Plus seeing Hinata in his shirt was a very welcome sight.
Hinata was saturated in his scent and the others in the room knew better than to touch the omega. They would have a very pissed off Tsukishima to deal with if they did more than talk to Hinata.
It didn't help that Hinata was charming to anyone and everything he came into contact with. The determination and passion his mate had made others fall easily for the honey eyed teen.
For his part Hinata was learning a lot and became more and more seamless in his movements. Then the third years came to play against the training first years.
"Oh ho ho, is that Karasuno's number ten I see." Tendo had slipped next to the small middle blocker and practically purred at the boy. The red head snickered scenting the omega layered in his alpha's scent.
Tendo smirked and made eye contact with the blonde alpha intently watching them and tucked the oblivious omega into his hold. Said alpha bristled at the sight but Hinata was already asking Tendo a million questions about guess blocking so Tsukishima had to swallow down his possessiveness.
He grew tense every time the beta middle blocker touched his mates collared, but unmarked neck and it made the alpha just want to horde all his mates till they each claimed their omega as theirs. Till their bond was finally merged as one.
Tsukishima put all his annoyance into training, he needed to let his mate, who took this insult as a ball boy, do his thing and learn.
Hinata was learning receiving and follow through from Ushijima who seemed pleased the omega had come to him for help.
Tendo was teasing their young alpha mate Goshiki who was looking at both Ushijima and Hinata with longing. With the right taunting the pre alpha was at their sides learning as well.
The time spent watching all the players really stuck with Hinata and Tsukishima was finding he was more possessive than he thought he would be. He would tuck his tiny mate into his bed every night refusing to let Hinata sleep alone. They shared a room with Goshiki and Koganegawa, he was date techs new setter who was still rough around the edges.
Both of whom were alphas and very interested in his little mate, though Goshiki was part of the group offering to bond with his den. Tsukishima would not be settled until his claim bite was on his mates neck. Until that day they would all have to settle with him being so damn possessive.
The end of the training had not come fast enough as Hinata even picked up more damn interest. The alpha from seijoh who had practically cornered his mate upon first meeting him, Kindaichi. Then his beta partner Kunimi who only put any effort in either humiliating his opponents or flirting with the omega. Or the unconfident alpha Hyakuzawa who was the six foot seven tall guy that his mate had helped beat in the climb to go to nationals.
Tsukishima was practically dragging his mate away from the camp at the end. He was annoyed that his omega had so many new phone numbers but Hinata's interest in them didn't really go far so it eased his already battered instincts.
The blonde practically nosed his mates covered neck the entire way home. He had not even let Hinata sit anywhere but his lap after forcing him to take the bus back home with him.
Kei's body was hot and he crooned to his mate who only looked up a him curiously. "Are you okay Shima?"
Hinata was in his lap, in his arms. Smelled like him, his omega's plush and ripe body was pressed to him. He was better than okay.
Hinata's face grew concerned and he jolted when his blonde mate licked along his covered throat.

The flame haired omega easily led his alpha back to their student dorms and into their living space. Yamaguchi who had been cooking was immediately swept up by Tsukishima who apparently just sought physical closeness to his mates.
Hinata was just relived he wasn't in heat, it would have led to far too tempting lustful thoughts. Tadashi grumbled but shut off the stove and eating the food he had been preparing.
All in his mates possessive hold while the omega whined to be let free to shower. Feeling sympathy for his mate Yamaguchi finished his food and slipped out of their alphas hold. Tadashi sprinted away from his alpha distracting the blonde who chased after him so Hinata could go shower.
Yamaguchi snickered and laughed while Tsukishima chased after him intent on pulling him in his arms. Kageyama came home to see Tadashi laughing and thrown over Kei's shoulder and was immediately yanked into the alphas hold. Kageyama grumbled not even a bit used to any type of affection from the alpha.
Hinata and Yamaguchi were the affectionate one's…Tsukishima well Kageyama wanted to go and see if maybe pigs were flying.
Thinking of Hinata must have made him appear as the omega came into the room cooing to the blonde alpha who was drawn toward the omega. Kageyama growled trying to escape the hold Tsukishima had on him but the taller teen carried him with ease. Yamaguchi hung limply having known it would be futile to fight it.
Having Hinata as a lure though drew the possessive alpha into a conundrum. He growled and set down his two mates, he knew his omega was skittish and springy.

Kageyama sprinted to the bathroom with a fresh change of clothes and Yamaguchi took this chance to go take care of the laundry while Hinata ran circles around their instinct induced alpha.
Tadashi also informed their captain about Tsukishima's new growth, as it was almost assured the blonde was going to be a ball of possessiveness at school.
Tsukishima would only be driven by instinct for a few hours until his hormones settled down, by school the next day he would only be a little clingy toward his mates.
The laundry was put in the dryer and Tsukishima finally caught their springy omega. Before Shoyo could attempt escape Yamaguchi was already in their large bed reading something on his phone.
Hinata was plopped next to him a flushed and happy little sunshine being eyed at by their blonde alpha. Kegeyama emerged from the shower and when he tried to leave through the door Tsukishima's low growl stopped him. His long arms trapped the embarrassed raven haired alpha but he too was pulled into the large bed and tucked close to Tsukishima's side. Hinata was moved to lay atop the alpha while Yamaguchi was tucked into the blonde alphas side. Hinata happily covered them all with a blanket before they finally fell into slumber.
Tsukishima awoke the next day somewhat hot and eager…he glanced down to the warm heat surrounding him and a part of him was pleased to see his sleeping mates around him. He was also embarrassed because his very excited erection was pressing against the soft plush body of his sleeping omega. He also had his hands gripping both Yamaguchi and Kageyama's firm and round asses.
Wholly embarrassed the blonde slipped his arms away and wiggled out from the bed holding Hinata to his body before gently setting him down between his mates.
Tsukishima's breath caught just looking at all three of his sleeping mates and for a moment he felt scared. They were all so pretty, and beautiful and just things he was not.
What if some alpha better than him charmed them away from his snarky self. He didn't deserve people like them and his heart clenched wondering if his luck screwed his mates over. If he somehow cheated them out of a better mate.

His golden gaze took in every detail of his mates while he sat at the foot of the bed, hard and wanting for them. Vibrant blue eyes opened and found one of his mates no longer laying next to him.
Kageyama looked to the softly whimpering form of his mate. Tsukishima looked at them all with such…longing. Their eyes met and both alphas had to fight off a blush from the sudden tension in the air.

Tsukishima let out a low growl and tensed as if he would jump the other alpha but instead turned tail and ran into the bathroom.

Kageyama sat up and immediately dressed for a morning workout jostling Hinata and Yamaguchi in his wake.

After warm ups it was a burst of moments later where Hinata was already engaged in a game of basketball. For a moment the beta was awed by Shoyo's athletic abilities. He had easy skill and promise in any sport he was involved in.
Kageyama though still excelled as their omegas partner but both Tsukishima and Yamaguchi snickered seeing their Tobio set the ball and Shoyo spike it down instinctively through the hoop.
Hinata was flustered but the omegas classmates were gushing over the boy's jump and some were even daring enough to send sparkling eyes toward Kageyama who seemed to be immune to gushing.
Well until Hinata gushed at him and then the setter turned into a pile of mush that made Tadashi and Kei's snicker at.
The class ended and it seemed like Tsukishima was eased down and he was able to calmly take notes in his next class before lunch came up.
Yamaguchi gave a surprised yelp as Tsukishima collected his beta, bento and all and surged toward their mates classroom.
Hinata was happily sitting in Kageyama's lap as the alpha really disliked how so many of their classmates were so touchy with his omega. The blue eyed alpha spotted Tsukishima in the doorway carrying Yamaguchi and lifted Hinata bridal style before grabbing their bentos and swiftly leaving the class to follow after their mates.
Tsukishima had his mates shoved into a secluded section of the courtyard hidden by trees. He admired them unwilling to face his lingering feelings as he was a stubborn fuck but he knew he wanted them. His gaze was warm and heavy and he noticed Hinata's blushing cheeks as he tried to avoid all their eyes and Kageyama's flustered expression when they met eyes. Tadashi was giving curious expression's to each of them and he just looked so cute. Something in him snapped for a moment and Tsukishima leaned over to his beta and kissed his freckled cheek making him immediately blush and short circuit.
Hinata squeaked and that drew his predatory gaze, his hunger for his omega was blatant in his eyes and he purred after his fluffy mate who only whimpered before practically shoving his red face into his lunch.
Feeling lascivious he turned that heated gaze challengingly toward his other alpha. He was feeling bold while his hormones raged through him and Kageyama met his gaze like he knew he would.
Tsukishima licked his fangs at his alpha who immediately blushed bright red and smacked his hands to cover his face.

The flame haired omega was quick to arrive in his home. He started dinner something easy he just had to pop in the oven and set an alarm and then zipped into his heat room. The flushed omega moved to the locked cabinets in the room. He pulled out a key and unlocked the cabinet pulling out a secondary key and finally unlocked his collar for once.
Hinata let the collar sit on a pillow in the cabinet where there lay several others in case the one he wore broke. The omega collapsed on the pile of fluffy blankets and pillows he had stashed there from his last heat.

He just relaxed drifting in and out of sleep until he heard the timer on the oven beep.
The fire haired omega jumped up and hurried to the kitchen to pull out dinner from the oven and was happy to note it looked delicious.
So, focused on his task Hinata had not noticed the front door open and his mates return. That was until he felt a tongue swipe slowly along his sensitive scent gland dragging out a moan from the surprised omega.
Tsukishima was moaning into his mates neck drawn in by the scent gently nipping along the skin that so tempted him to bite down. "No, my collar Kags can you get it. It's in my heat room in the open cabinet. Please hurry."
Tsukishima crooned into his omegas neck and was immediately joined by Kageyama who was huffing and nipping into the other side of his mates neck. The high piteous whine that escaped Hinata was sinful and Yamaguchi had scrambled from the room only to return with the omegas collar.
The beta braved his alphas and whined scenting his mate but was quick to snap the collar onto Hinata's neck. The two alphas nosed at the collar and Hinata thanked the beta melting into a hug with the teen.
Yamaguchi was flushed but soon all of them calmed down now that Hinata's scent was once again dulled down. That had been the first time he had experience an omegas scent head on, it was like honey to your senses. Thick and sweet wrapping around you to pull you in.
Hinata's fear though had been prevalent and so Yamaguchi had found it in himself to fight off the overwhelming scent to save his mate. Hinata was not ready to bond with them and the fact that Kageyama and Tsukishima had not immediately tried to bite him meant they felt the same way, or there would have been little the beta could have done to save his mate.
Though it obviously had affected the omegas because as soon as Yamaguchi released Hinata from the hug he bolted from the room like a bat out of hell.

Hinata avoided his mates secluding himself to his heat room when at home and all but running from them when not around others. Tsukishima's rut had ended but still the omega was as far away from his mates as one could get.
Their omega was avoiding them and that did not bode well for their future.
It was even worse coming back home the next day to find that their omega had ridden his bike to his family den rather than back to their dorm.
For what they were going to do about it, none of them had a clue. Tsukishima and Kageyama were prepared to grovel before their flame haired omega and beg for forgiveness.
Well until a red faced Hinata was returned back to their student dorm followed by his two mothers. One woman had glossy brown hair and honey eyes gently cooing at the boy. Hinata's other mother had fluffy hair and a sharp eye shape similar to their mate but they were confused before the omega himself snickered and took pity on them.
"My twin brother is one of our den mates. It's fairly common for twins to be put into dens with one another." The omega male had spoke gently making them all fluster. They all sat down on the large sofa while Tsukishima and Kageyama opted to drag over the kitchen chairs to sit on.
"I'm Aiya and this is Eiko, we are here because Shoyo is struggling with expressing himself." Aiya the glossy haired brunet smiled and her face lit up like the sun. Tadashi smiled knowing where his omega got his charm from.
Eiko ruffled Shoyo's soft hair before addressing the small den before him. "She's being too nice, now let me be frank. You will date my tiny fluff ball and make him feel like the king he is before you try going for his scent glans again." Eiko spoke making the alphas blush and his and Aiya's tiny one whine.
Eiko pinched Shoyo's cheek making him pout at the older man.
"You will stop being a little chicken shit and let them smother you in some damn affection you brat." Eiko was teasing the boy who huffed and Aiya laughed softly smacking her mates hands away from their Shoyo with practiced ease.
"Shoyo go on, you can't keep pushing it off. You are all growing and this is just part of it." Aiya kissed her son's cheek before tugging along Eiko who was playfully pointing two fingers toward his own eyes and back to Shoyo's in a 'I'm watching you' gesture before leaving the student dorms as quickly as they had come.
Hinata's family was a wild assortment of personalities it seemed.
Hinata shifted nervously before looking up to his stunned mates expressions.
"So…um I was hoping that you guy's would want to start dating me…romantically. I mean only if you want to ya know, I won't make you." Hinata was blushing darker than his hair and Yamaguchi crooned to his omega pulling him close.
"Of course, I would love that Hina." The beta was eager for it actually.
Tsukishima cleared his throat but his flushed face gave his thoughts away. "I would also enjoy getting to know you better, with romantic inclinations."
Kageyama was blushing bright red but kept looking between them all. "Obviously I want to date you dumbass." Kageyama crossed his arms even more embarrassed. "You keep beating me to the damn punch."
Hinata brightened and chirped happily all the tension left his body and finally he eased down.
"Good. I've award planned a date before Nationals. I'm going to shower and then I expect a big cuddly puppy pile as apology from my alphas who like using tongue." Hinata made his two mates blush and immediately hugged the beta inviting him to go bathe with him as reward for him being so well behaved.
Scratch that…Shoyo like his family was a whirlwind of personality. His mates though would not have it any other way.
