Chapter 9: Bonds
Hinata had woken to butterfly kisses and breakfast in bed from his freckled mate. Tadashi was practically attached to Hinata the full morning stealing heated kisses and cuddling the Omega in his nest.
They were interrupted later in the morning by a sleepy-looking Kei who rushed the pair to get showered and dressed for the day.
Hinata had one more check-up with Kei's mother's office before he would be seeing his doctor for the procedure. The Omega was nervous but only hoped things were good.
He was going to be taken off his newly acquired suppressants and birth control so he would be actively receptive to the IVF. It was all just so clinical that the Omega was wondering what could go wrong.
Kageyama had wanted to join them on the trip to the hospital but he had an important training session with a group from the youth training camp. Hinata had threatened to pop him if he skipped out on it and Kageyama had looked at the Omega with such reverence that made Hinata flush.
Kageyama had secured some kisses from all of his mates before he left for the train with an overnight bag.
Yamaguchi had his bag ready to go as he was going to visit relatives near the training camp. Kageyama had practically pounced and ensured that he would have his free day devoted to his beta. They even had plans to stay over a night at a nice hotel together. Hinata had been teasing them about their little get-away together making his other two mates flush every time he mentioned it.
Tsukishima took that as his cue to make his plans to put into motion. Yet before all that, they had to get Hinata through his appointment.
Kei also took it upon himself to lead his omega and beta out into the world and to his mother's offices deep into the town. They all could taste the nervousness of the omega as since his heats had begun Hinata had been on a scheduled flow of suppressants. He never faced a true heat and would have to face one without the aid of medication before he would be free to have the IVF.
His mates tried not to be eager for a time where their omega would be needy but it was a hard fight. Especially for Kei who had yet to sample the omega himself.
They had thought ahead bought condoms hiding them all over their living space. Every one of the omegas mates were each eager for his first heat where Hinata would be receptive to their advances.
Hinata had arrived with two out of three of his mates. They had hurried the Omega into the clinic's office fairly quickly and a nurse looked him over.
Hinata sat uncomfortably as everything from blood to temperature was taken he was glad for the small moment of reprieve in this situation. Tadashi and Kei were sitting in the waiting room giving Shoyo some privacy.
Poked and prodded till his doctor arrived. A small blonde Omega man recommended by Kei's mother who had been overseeing him since Hinata had begun being under the Tsukishima family's care.
Sure they got medical advice from Kei's mother but she couldn't handle his medical needs, she'd be too emotionally involved because Hinata was technically family.
The Omega man was thin, tall, and very pretty with artfully messy long blonde hair tied high and tight. He had kind big brown eyes and always made Shoyo feel at ease.
The visit was quick and Shoyo was no longer on suppressants or birth control. The Omega was going to have to wait a few days for his heat to come and go before he would be completely flushed out of the medication but otherwise, Hinata was in peak condition.
Tadashi was in the waiting room while Kei was chatting with his mother in her office. The beta cuddled his pouty mate who buried himself into his hold immediately, while they awaited their alpha.
A young couple kept eyeing them the girl stiff in her seat while the young man at her side kept eyeing the pair. The girl's eyes looked pained and the man was twitching staring Hinata down.
Tadashi could feel the eyes on them, specifically on his Omega. Hinata only buried his face into the beta's shoulder and the male stood and settled down next to Hinata and Yamaguchi.
"Hello." The man's voice was smooth deep and rich. His eyes were a chestnut brown and hair like chocolate. He looked average, normal even and Tadashi knew he was a beta.
The young girl sitting off to the side was a pretty blonde that came from a bottle. Eyes the color of coal and skin like snow. Tadashi eyed her collar and a single bite mark on her throat.
The girl was an omega.
Something didn't seem right and Yamaguchi was not going to get him or his mates involved. He cuddled his mate close realizing that Hinata was refusing to acknowledge the other beta.
"It's a lovely day isn't it." The man was pressing into their space his gaze flickering to give a dark glare at Tadashi who easily sneered back.
Hinata didn't like this beta at all. something seemed off and his instincts were yelling at him to run. Shoyo glanced at the girl who he had originally seen the man and jolted at her furious expression aimed his way.
"Go away please." Hinata hadn't meant to say that out loud but the girl's expression was freaking him out. The beta who had been smiling stopped and glanced down to Hinata only to follow his gaze back to the blonde girl.
"Ah, my friend is just feeling a little emotional right now. You see she's a broken Omega, can't keep a baby like she's supposed to." The beta said that with such ease on the subject and both Hinata and Yamaguchi could see the girl's face crumble to pain. Hinata wanted to say something to the other omega but knew the girl would not take kindly to him saying a damn thing to her. You could read it in her posture, in her face when she looked his way.
"Sho, Yams. Let's go." Tsukishima suddenly appeared towering over the beta who wilted against the flume of possessive pheromones coming off the taller and stronger male.
Hinata immediately began tugging along Yamaguchi as their alpha watched their back as they left. They all felt it then, something was off with that couple.
Hinata shuddered in relief and Tsukishima tugged their small mate to his side while tucking Yamaguchi into his other side. Both of the smaller teens could feel he was nervous without his usual alpha partner at their side to help protect them. Soon though they were walking Yamaguchi off to the train station so he could enjoy his time with Kageyama on his own.
Hinata had left the beta with a bunch of fluttering butterfly kisses and Tsukishima left him with a long lingering kiss on his lips. Hinata had pouted that his mate had such a large travel suitcase and felt it was far too much to take for a short trip, but said nothing on the matter.
Yamaguchi hopped on the train and settled down for a long trip over. With no mates to spend his time with it felt incredibly lonely and as soon as the train stopped the beta was charging out and straight into Kageyama's open arms.
The alpha had found it hard to concentrate on anything without his mates there. He missed them and was glad his first training day was to just get settled in. He really wished Hinata could have joined him on the training trip. He always loved setting to his smallest mate. He missed Yamaguchi's warm and tender presence always reminding him that he was there to support him no matter what. He missed Tsukishima and his snarky sass that was a balm to his own frazzled nerves at times.
He had texted Shoyo all day and Tsukishima kept him updated as well. His beta though had been conserving his phone's battery just in case an emergency happened while he was on the train. So not taking to his soft beta left his instincts wired up. He needed to know all his mates were happy and healthy. A primal urge in him made him fret otherwise.
He was sure he seemed distracted practicing by himself. He was still getting used to his hormones and instincts colliding. He saw his sister go through the same thing and knew he was just settling in. Especially so soon separated from his newly claimed omega.
Once he was free to do so Kageyama bolted to the train station and awaited his beta who arrived only a few hours afterward. Yamaguchi was in his arms and Kageyama had scented his betas nuzzling the freckled teen.
Kageyama had tugged his mate with him towards a small Cafe he had passed by several minutes prior. Yamaguchi was awed by the cute shop and atmosphere. His gaze was hopping from fixture to fixture. Kageyama glanced around a moment and the shop was cute. colored on soft whites and shimmering gold's it looked to be decked out to look like a traditional style tea house. His beta was pleased and that pleased Kageyama.
He followed the hostess but his attention was aimed directly towards his mate. Yamaguchi was practically glowing when looking at the menu. They ordered and drank tea while snacking on some traditional treats but Kageyamas intensity aimed his mate's direction did not diminish. He happily followed his beta around who was buzzing around the city purchasing small gifts for some of his birth den.
Right up until Yamaguchi was meant to leave for his uncle's home but Kageyama couldn't let him go. It amused the beta who had the tall stoic alpha clutching onto him refusing to let him begin his walk towards his relative's house. It was only for one day Tsukishima had booked a hotel close to Kageyama's training facility.
It was also close to the omega athletic trainer that Shoyo was going to need to talk to. It was supposed to be a surprise for the omega that his mates had all planned to surprise him with before he would have to suffer through pregnancy. The trainer was even going to explain small things he could do while pregnant that wouldn't harm him or the baby and what foods to eat as well. They knew it would help keep their omegas sports up while he was out of commission.
Yamaguchi and Kageyama knew that...yet they both were reluctant to leave each other's side. With a quick simple call to his uncle and a small departure of some money, Kageyama and Yamaguchi found themselves in a love hotel. Yamaguchi was flushed as Kageyama descended on him. Hinata put his finishing touches on his outfit before hearing a soft knock and Tsukishima's voice come through the door.
"Sho I'm ready if you are." Hinata flushed at the easy use of his name and adjusted his hair a bit but geared himself for what was to come.
"Coming!" Hinata bolted out of the door nearly running into the tower that was his mate.
Hinata blushed and eyed Tsukishima was wearing black tight slacks with a soft silk tan shirt hanging over his lith waist. His chest was slightly bared to his greedy gaze and the soft buttercup yellow hair was slicked back. Tsukishima wasn't wearing glasses and Hinata realized he was wearing contacts making him look more handsome without the glasses to distract from his golden gaze aimed hungrily at the omega.
Tsukishima nearly growled looking down at his tiny mate.
Hinata was wearing silky black thigh highs with a garter attached holding up the fabric, his feet were some small heeled black boots. Hinata's hair was artfully messy making it look vaguely like he had just come from a nice roll in the sheets. They shared few affections but Tsukishima felt the need for that would definitely grow.
He pulled back from his mate and tugged Hinata along for their date out. He was really hoping his mate would enjoy his time with him and his surprise for later as well.
Tsukishima let them straight out to a movie a b rated scary movie one they both secretly loved to mock. It was the only time he would see his mates share snarky tries with him and it was something Tsukishima was planning to cultivate. He tugged his mate afterward to a nice restaurant and then immediately took Hinata for a walk under the night sky. Hinata was tucked into his side really appeased some primitive protective urge he carried.
They returned home but Tsukishima couldn't help himself and kept his roaming touching and caressing his mate. The urge to touch and claim Hinata was only growing worse and Hinata want hiding his desire for the blonde alpha at all.
Hinata had practically climbed Tsukishima gagging into his mouth when the alpha had stolen several kisses from him while pressing him against a tree in their walk home.

"Yeah, we should." Tsukishima kissed his omega's fluffy head and they both slipped into slumber.
