From where he sat, he had a clear view of her face. Despite the way her attention seemed to be glued to the open page of notes in front of her on the table, he couldn't manage to pull his focus to it as she had. Each time, seemingly quicker and quicker, his attention would shift back to her. Back to her face. There was a slight shift in her posture, so he knew that she knew what he was doing, but she opted to make no comment or draw any attention to it.
She leaned in a bit closer, brushing her shoulder against his own. Instantly, her sweet scent surrounded him. There was something sugary to it. She smelled of warm vanilla and some sort of flowery shampoo that he couldn't place. Whatever it was, it was an intoxicating mixture, and he was drawn closer- comforted by it. She didn't react, more than welcome to the closeness her presence invited. He thought of that auburn-haired demon that hung around her so much. She didn't mind him getting so close, so why would she mind if he did the same?
His attention drew back to her face, duo-colored eyes focusing on her plump lips- parted in slight concentration as she wrote something down. He found it hard to tear his gaze away, especially when her tongue peeked out, dragging along her lower lip before vanishing back within her mouth.
"Ne, Sho- mpf!"
She turned to him, but the moment she tried to speak, he'd claimed her mouth in a firm kiss, moving closer until she was pushed onto the floor beneath him. Her surprised gasp was swallowed by him as he seamlessly deepened the kiss, pushing his tongue between her parted lips and brushing it against her own.
She tasted as sweet as she smelled.
I've been gone for so long, and I'm glad to be back! This is just a little something I've been thinking of doing for a while now so I'm happy i was finally motivated to write it!
