A/N: Welcome to the new version of this story. Naruto will OOC in this and i will combine Justice League cartoon with movies for this story moving forward as well as using my imagination to make this as creative as possible. If you want a straight up canon Naruto, then this isn't for you and while there will be a multi pairing, it won't be Naruto just smashing all the women after they "fall in love" with him like some immature school girls.
There will be build up, drama, action, a bit of humor and maybe some Lemony content, but all in all i intend to make the atmosphere for this story "focused and serious". Shoutout to the Story "Phantom", a Harry potter X Justice league fanfiction as some of my inspiration came from that as well as "Caterpillar" (Naruto X Justice league) as these two stories are pure genius works of fiction. Inspiration also came from other stories but these two were really interesting to me and my most recently consumed content.
Any constructive criticism will be appreciated and even though i know not everyone will like this story with some even making some derogatory comments, for those more reasonable readers your suggestions and corrections will be appreciated.
So, without further waste of word count, let's go.
Disclaimer: I do not own Naruto or Justice League. All content here is just for entertainment and some learning.
Chapter 1: A new era of godlike aliens
Location: Metropolis, USA
There were many ways Clark Kent had imagined his life would be when he grew up to adulthood, and as much as he tried to be as creative as possible about the possibiities despite his age at the time, nothing could have prepared him for something like this..
And truth be told, no one on earth could have prepared for something like this.. Except for a very, very select few who were either dead, or isolated..
Finding out he was alien after years of being kept in the dark about his abilities, discovering an alien ship built by his biological father after millennia of it being buried in ice.. Meeting and talking with the consciousness of the said biological father who revealed the secrets of his origins to him as well as giving him an overdue pep talk.. Discovering the thrilling and exciting ability to fly at supersonic speeds, even into the vacuum of space where he apparently doesn't need oxygen to survive..
Then only a few days later to be discovered by his own people who unsurprisingly had no desire to share earth with humans.. Something he initially suspected after the brief story his "father" told him about the General.. If that wasn't enough, the life of his adopted Mother being in danger after she was discovered, then having to fight his own kind on equal grounds considering they were as strong as he was and even better trained.. And finally, having to destroy the last of people in attempt to save the planet that he had learned to love.. A world that his father wanted him to thrive in and protect..
Well.. Let's just say he didn't know what to think, especially now that he was at the climax of his battle with last man standing of his people.. This said person was the strongest of them judging by how much trouble he had proven to be to the son of El after several minutes of intense battle.. General Dru-Zod was a man.. No, not man, a monster like no other and judging by his words at the beginning of their battle, it was either Him or Clark that would die.. And Clark knew that as long as Zod lived, mankind would be in danger..
It was unacceptable..
Now as the general struggled with all his might to break free from the bind that he was in, there was only one way to end this.. But having being brought up with a deep sense of morality, the son El just didn't have the heart to do it..
And so, he began to plead.. But deep down, he knew it was for naught..
"Stop".. Clark yelled slightly.. Doing his best to not let go of his captive as the man struggled against him.
"No"..
"Please stop this"..
"I said NO"...
"Don't do this"... Clark begged as he did his best to reason with him..
Still struggling to break free while keeping his laser eyes focused on the family he was about to incinerate via heat vision, the almost defeated Zod had no intention of stopping.. He was angry, he was sorrowful, and most importantly.. He wanted vengeance..
"I told you Kal.. I will make you mourn for them".. Was the defiant reply he gave.. "I'll never stop.. NEVER".. Zod replied with finality..
With just a few feet away from killing the innocent family, Kal-El held unto the general with all his might, trying as much as he could to divert his laser focus away from the human family, but to no avail.. He knew what he had to do.. It was the only way, and yet.. He hesitated..
"You know what you have to do".. An unknown voice whispered in his head.. "Just snap his neck and be done with it"..
"I-i, i can't. I can't do it.. I-i, am not a k-killer".. Clark answered hesitantly..
"This is WAR boy and as much as you are not a killer, this once.. You just have do what needs to be done.. Not just for yourself, but for the future"..
"But-
"NO BUTS.. Its the only way as even your father would say the same thing.. So, just do it boy.. End it and save mankind.. DO IT.." The voice commanded..
Kal didn't know where that voice came from, but even he couldn't deny the merit of its words.. There was only way this could end, and he wasn't gonna like it..
And so, with a pained clench of his heart.. He made his decision..
SNAP...
A loud boom, a cracking sound, a small shockwave and then.. Silence...
As the body of the now dead Kryptonian fell, the last son of El fell to his knees, yelling to the heavens as the realization of what he had just done dawned on him..
It was all over.. Zod had fallen, and Superman was born..
But that was just the beginning as that action would bring about a new era.. The likes of which the world had never seen before..
Days later:
Somewhere far in Antarctica:
As surprising as things turned out to be, being alive and not in chains was something that the low cut haired female Kryptonian was most grateful for even at the expense of the lives of her fellow Kryptonians.. The former second in command of the now dead General Zod, Faora-Ul with her admittedly beautiful face was the depiction of glad and angry at the same time.. She was glad that she wasn't devoured by the blackhole that sucked in her comrades, but she was angry that they lost the war.. More specifically, she was angry that Zod was defeated and by no other than that weak son of EL..
Its not that she was in love with the General or anything like that, it was her pride as a high ranking soldier of Krypton that made her feel this way.. She was loyal to the cause of preserving what was left of her people.. Beings of advanced civilization who had gone far and wide in the Universe, colonizing planets all over and yet one weak son of a whore spoiled everything all because he had a sense of morality.. He betrayed his own people, and that alone was deserving of death..
Sure, on this planet and under yellow sun he was powerful and considering he had been here longer gave him an advantage, but she knew that if he was under a red sun, well.. He wouldn't stand a chance.. Not with her, and much less with Zod. Even with effects of a yellow sun, the General was more than a match for the son of El, yet somehow, he lost.. Now, there was nothing left..
Or maybe there was... But she didn't care..
Perhaps death would have been better than having to experience the feeling of defeat.. At that point she felt, useless..
"Death has its own reward".. Were her thoughts as these were the last words the brave human soldier said to her before practically committing suicide.. Taking out here own people along the way.. In her cockiness, she was the one initially said those words to the man, but now.. It stung.. Deeply so..
But as much as she wanted to vent, to lash out, to spill human blood.. To spill Kal's blood.. She couldn't.. Not with HIM watching her.. After all, her current companion was the reason she was alive in the first place.. And as much as she would deny it, HE was also someone who could end her.. It was just a feeling at that point, but Faora wasn't one to ignore her instincts especially when it came to her life.. It was a feeling she had years when HE became of age, but now.. It was different..
In better circumstances it would have made the Kryptonian beauty glad and proud, but in this case she was.. Well, she didn't really know what to feel and that unnerved her even further.. The feeling of lacking control was quite foreign to her, but unfortunately for her she would have to get used to it..
She may not have changed, but the tides of war had..
"Your thoughts and emotions are all over the place"... Said a deep masculine voice from behind her.. "If its that obvious to me then that means your are slipping Faora- Chan".. The voice said in slight amusement.. Intentionally using the added suffix as a means to tease her, or perhaps get a reaction out of her..
Not that he expected much considering the woman was emotionless.. At least on the outside.. On the inside however, she was far from composed as she portrayed herself to be..
Without even turning around to look at the person, Faora remained silent as she continued to gaze at the vast icy landscape in front of her.. The chilling breeze and air of the less than habitable environment doing nothing to affect her fit and well trained Kryptonian body.. Even though it was night time, the effects of the earth's yellow sun were still present in her cells, working just as usual to keep her temperature in check and stop her from freezing to death like the humans.. And courtesy of her well trained body as well as mind, it didn't take long for her to overcome the side effects of her superhuman senses as well as being able to master and hone those senses expertly enough to move around just as the humans.. Of course the fact that she wasn't in battle or in any danger helped ease the process, but Faora was sure that if she faced Kal-El now..
Well... Perhaps she shouldn't underestimate him.. If that was the reason why Zod was defeated then she wouldn't make the same mistake.. But that was a thought for another time as for now she just wanted to relax a little..
Now as she was, mask free and without protective gear she could really connect her senses to the world around her.. But of course her current companion just had to say something to fill in the silence, thereby interrupting her short moment of peace..
"So the silent treatment huh.. Can't say i am surprised as you were always like this".. Commented the voice as its owner now stood beside her.. His dark cloaked figure towering over her just a little.. Well, not completely dark as the scarf around his neck did have a bit of orange in it.. It was a trait that she sadly couldn't take away from him during their time as companions on Krypton as his love for the color orange seemed quite... Fanatical and Eternal..
"Cheh.. You are and i were the farthest things from companions and you know it"..
She looked at him.. And stared...
"
"
She kept staring, not once blinking as she carefully studied him.
"Is there something on my face".. The figure asked without looking at her.. Not that he could, at least not directly..
"Are you reading my thoughts".. She asked, a little too aggressively.. Though there was a bit curiosity in her tone as her interest was somewhat piqued at such a possibility.. Last time she remembered, he couldn't do that.. At least, that's what she thought at the time..
"You did hear what i said before right... When i said your thoughts and emotions are all over the place.. I meant it.. Literally".. He replied, still not looking at her..
"How?".. Was all she could ask.. More like a demand considering her tone..
Chucking to himself, the figure replied still very amused.. "Wouldn't like to know huh"..
Narrowing her eyes at the response, Faora was about to give another reply of her own, but he beat to it as he already knew what she was gonna say..
"You don't get to order me around anymore commander.. Or should i say, ex commander".. The male figure said, taking his time to emphasize on her current title status, or better yet lack of it..
Such emphasis elicited an angry growl from her, but he abruptly ignored it..
"This isn't Krypton.. You are no longer my superior and need i remind you that the only reason you are alive is because of me, and the reason why you are not chains is also because of me".. The figure said coldly.. While he was aware the last part about her being in chains was bull considering no prison the humans had could tame or keep her locked up, he was pretty sure the chains that HE could provide would definitely get the job done and even more so considering the variety of applications he could make with them..
So, in other words she was at his mercy whether she accepted it or not..
Upon hearing those words, to any other person she would have lashed out, but to her current companion she knew better than to provoke him considering his quick change of tone and his admittedly intimidating aura, one that surprisingly surpassed even that of Zod.. The fact that her instincts, once again were screaming at her to calm down also added to her decision not to do anything, unfriendly..
It was an Interesting development indeed.. Perhaps even Zod might have been proud..
One moment the person beside her was being casual and the next he sounded so dead serious as even the air became colder which was surprising as she shouldn't be able to feel the cold.. This was the not the young man she last remembered him to be.. And just as soon as the cold aura was felt, it disappeared.. Not completely though, but it was enough to make her feel somewhat comfortable again..
It was a bit unnerving to feel such a vibe from him, but that didn't mean Faora was gonna just let him talk to her like that.. But before she speak her mind, he cut her off once again.. "It was because of pride that Krypton fell, and it was because of pride that Zod and the rest of his followers fell.. Don't make the same mistake Faora, or your fall will be just as brutal".. He warned..
It may have been worded as an advice but she knew better.. It wasn't the words that were said that mattered, but the implied meaning and what was implied sounded almost like a threat..
"Are you threatening me?"..
"What do you think?"..
So it was a threat.. But could he really back it up?.. Was the question on her mind, though she did have to applaud how bold he was to do so as he never did despite how many times she was sure he wanted to back then.. He was much more predictable back then, but now that statement was no longer valid.. He was most certainly not the same young man she remembered and despite herself, it did bring a very small smile to her face.. Just for a moment before she squashed it..
Scoffing a little, she went back to looking ahead of her as she pondered on a few things.. If truly he could read her thoughts then he would know that those thoughts were mainly about her present, her future and about Him.. Especially about him..
"You flatter me truly".. He teased, referencing to her thoughts about him.. His tone going back to being playful once more.. But she ignored it..
25 cycles was quite sometime and a lot could have happened within that period.. Thanks to her advanced physiology she aged just a little as result, but her current companion while looking more mature still looked almost exactly the same.. Perhaps even better as she could feel the vast amounts of warm energy radiating off him as his aura was no longer as cold as it was just a few moments ago.. Now that she thought about it considering how much of his energy she could feel, he never did exude anything close to such vast amounts in the past, even after his successful experimental transformation..
Whether it was the effects of being under a yellow sun or it was just his natural aura she wondered... Faora was well aware of his magical nature and origins just as many of those who came in contact with him on Krypton were also aware.. But unlike most who treated him like an outcast, what they didn't know was where exactly he came from as well as the potential his origins could have had on his development as the first successful Kryptonian Hybrid..
Perhaps the cycles that have passed would have given him enough time to explore the depths of his abilities, and if he had then she could only imagine what he was capable of now considering he was already stronger than most Kryptonian soldiers those cycles back, herself included.. She even suspected that he may have been stronger than Zod at the time, but decided that it was best for his health to remain under the General's command.. Besides strength was one thing, experience was another and Zod was very experienced in combat and war, more so than him.. There was also the fact the General had an army backing him up, so it did make sense not to challenge him considering his status as an outsider..
He might have become a Kryptonian, but he most certainly not accepted as one..
Taking a side glance at him, Faora began to actually take in his form and she had to admit, with the moonlight reflecting on him, he looked quite.. Dare she say, handsome.. Aside from his imposing over 6 feet height compared to her 5'10 as well his much bulkier frame as even with his cloak with her super sight she could pin point how firmly ripped he was underneath.. Naru-Ul was a grown male in every sense of the word, physically and mentally even with a disability, one that surprisingly was his best asset before and after his genetic transformation..
One could say his disability made him more connected to the world around him, allowing him to hone his skills to an unprecedented level regardless of whatever sun he was under.. While she didn't understand the mechanics of it, from her... sessions with him, she did however realize that it gave him an edge over others when used correctly in battle as well as when navigating his way around places that no one else could walk around freely..
In short, Naru-Ul could do things others couldn't and that was the sole reason why the General kept him around even before his transformation.. He wanted to mold the young blonde alien into the perfect warrior for Krypton and while he was on his way to being successful at it back then, there was an aspect that was underestimated which in turn made the blonde overtime become disillusioned with hers and the General's philosophies..
His in born instincts and his indomitable desire for freewill.. These two parts of him made it difficult to fully indoctrinate him according to their ways and the fact that damned Jor-El was influencing him added to the problem..
It was a story for another time..
Gone were his rough, spiky locks of sandy blonde hair when he was younger as he now had a much more cut and a well shaped sun kissed blonde hair.. His side burns were also well shaped alongside his small thinly cut line of beard as well as blonde mustache.. His cheekbones were well defined alongside his jawline and from what Faora could see with her x-ray vision, his bone structure was much more denser which was understandable considering hers were just as dense, but she could also detect that his was denser as a swirling foreign substance flowed through his tissues as well as some other unknown and even denser substance wrapped around his joints.. She knew what the swirling substance was, but this was the first time she could actually see it directly.. However, the other one did intrigue her as it looked extremely dense, kind of acting like a protective over the blonde's skeletal structure..
Perhaps a new defense mechanism had developed in his body or something like that and if that was the case then it would be interesting to see what it actually was..
His frame was also well built as his muscles were firm and well ripped for battle, whether for strength or for endurance.. Even the cloak he wore looked almost like a lightly framed suit of sorts as it covered him from his shoulders all the way to his knees.. On his feet were a pair of sandals which made the woman roll her eyes internally as he always did like such kind of footwear even sometimes while wearing battle armor..
Being a Kryptonian did have its perks after all as no sane human would have been able to walk around such an environment in sandals.. A part of her did suspect that even without such advantage, the extreme cold may not have affected the blonde as much as while he may look human, he was most certainly not one considering his origins..
Then, there were his eyes.. His ever blue eyes that almost seemed to glow as the moonlight shone through the night.. They were, beautiful and yet, they were blank..
Some say your eyes were windows to your soul, others say they could be weapons of manipulation, but with Naru-Ul, none of these things applied.
None of that mattered though as even if he may not have had any weapon or typical battle armor on him at that moment Faora suspected that as he was, he was ever ready for battle as that was always how prepared, crafty and perhaps paranoid he was according to what she remembered of him.. Being a subject of heavy disdain and criticism all around would make anyone like that especially when such was their lifestyle from a very young age and in a foreign land far from home..
At least that was the most Kryptonian like thing about him as the blonde never liked weakness or vulnerability no matter the circumstance, and that made her somewhat proud a bit.. It was only a shame that things didn't turn out the way both she and the General wanted, especially considering the influence of Jor-El..
Once again, a story for another time..
After she was done checking him out, Faora wondered to herself what his intentions were with her as she was technically his prisoner even though she wasn't bound or anything.. He saved her when he could have just let die with the rest of her people, kept her secure and away from prying eyes, allowed her roam around freely and yet, she wondered...
What was his endgame?.. And most importantly, would she like it?.. As she considered her options, Naru-Ul spoke once again..
"Your line of thoughts are as interesting as they are amusing you know that"... He chuckled to himself, ignoring her small glare before continuing.. "Stop worrying too much about things outside of your control and just ask what it is that you wish to know.. Perhaps maybe some of the answers can favor you, or not".. He said with a small shrug..
"If only it was that simple".. She replied, huffing a little at his casual, yet truthful use of words..
Faora knew that all she had to do was just ask, but her pride wouldn't let her nor did she want to show any weakness by doing so..
Now glancing at the woman beside him, Naru-Ul regarded his former mentor as she stood there, hands folded as she proceeded to frown at him.. Her green eyes narrowed as her mood remained as sour as expected..
While his feelings towards her couldn't be expressed with his eyes which was something he was incapable of doing with anyone for that matter, the rest of his face however did show a bit of emotion as his lips did quirk up a little to form a small, a hardly noticeable smile but still there nonetheless and with her keen eyes, Faora could see it which in turn made her frown even more so..
Was he mocking her.. Leave it to prideful Kryptonian to think a harmless smile was a way for you to mock them..
Prideful, yet somewhat childish.. Was his description of her at that moment and honestly, that was how he had always thought of her... For all her composure, Faora was like a petulant child who was never satisfied whenever she didn't get her way (something which rarely happened considering her status) and would go on about being moody as a result, just as she was doing right now..
The female Kryptonian never liked taking orders or having to defer to people and while she was fully obedient under Zod, every other person was seen as beneath her, himself included.. Especially him.. He never expected anything more from her as the fact the she allowed him to keep use of her family name was enough for him.. Even if it was initially hesitant on her part she had a hand in giving him an identity, one that he had lost when his people were destroyed and for that he was grateful..
However, those were times long past.. He had changed, a lot.. But she remained the same..
"Some things never change huh"..
Shaking his head a little, he decided to humor the woman seeing as she wasn't gonna say anything more. And so, he began. "You want to know why I saved you as well as what happens from here as regards your future.. Well, I saved you because aside from Jor-El and his family you were the only other person I considered close enough to being my family.. You trained me, beat me up, trained me some more, insulted me, belittled me and yet all of that was what made me into the strong personality that i became before Krypton fell... So, it was only fair that i aided you as i did even though i should have let you perish alongside the others.. But that felt like a petty thing to do and i don't do petty".. He affirmed to her as while he had every right to let her die, it would have been a waste..
Naru-Ul admittedly did care for Faora despite everything but even with that, he had other reasons for saving her.. More logical reasons.. Sure he could have let her die, but there were a lot possibilities that came with her being alive and would be foolish not to be able to explore them..
How, Kryptonian of him... He thought to himself with less than thrilling humor.. But it was true..
"And so here we are, on a planet far from home and alongside Kal-El we are the last of our kind with you being as pure blooded as he is.. The young man may be his father's son alright, but he is just a boy by Krypton's standards, but you... You are mature, well groomed and if anyone had a better chance at redemption it would have been you.. You out of the others can change for the better and perhaps usher in a new era of strength for any potential Kryptonians that may be created in the future by being somewhat of a better mentor and perhaps a better and improved Mother figure"..
It was funny coming from him, but Naru-Ul believed in Faora even more than she did herself.. To him she was simply misguided and with new perspective on life that awaited her after Zod's death perhaps she might be able to switch her die hard loyalties to something less destructive but still as productive.. But that was just a theory as she still had to prove herself to him, something he had every intention of making sure she did..
Ohh there would payback indeed..
"So yes, i did save you but as regards your future i have already made plans for that.. You just have to be willing to accept what i have to offer and perhaps maybe, just maybe you can find redemption somewhere along the line"..
Kal-El was the future, yes.. But Faora was a necessary reminder of the past and most importantly, she was female.. It was the male's duty to pass down genes, but it was the female's duty to nurture the said genes and Kryptonian females were more than capable of nurturing strong offspring despite their aggressive stance. Even though he knew there was a possibility of there being another female Kryptonian survivor out there with the chances becoming less probable everyday that passed, Naru-Ul preferred to make do with what was available as it was Jor-El's wish that he preserved what was left of Krypton and that was what he intended to do.. Though not just in the way his father like figure would have preferred..
Having listened to all that had been said, Faora was left speechless as she processed all the information.. The fact that he considered her akin to family was surprising as well as the fact he believed she could change her ways.. Its not that she wanted to nor did she see the need to, but the thought itself made her feel.. Strange.. Frankly she didn't know how to feel about that and decided to just let the whatever feeling she had about it just remain as it was.. Unknown.. For now..
However she didn't feel comfortable with the last statement he made about having made plans for her as well as his implication of her acceptance of his offer before even asking her.. Sure he saved her and she was in his care but that didn't make him her superior..
"So you keep telling yourself".. Whispered a voice in her head that sounded awfully like Naru-Ul, but she shook it off.. Surely she was going mad as he couldn't be the one speaking to her in her head as she still had yet to fathom the possibility of him being able to read her mind in the first place.. If he was somehow truly capable of such, then who knows what else he was capable of..
There were several things she wanted to ask him as a lot of things didn't add up in her mind as per the events that led up to this moment.. In fact, now that she thought about it the last thing she remembered after that human soldier plunged them to their deaths was the cold and helpless feeling of being sucked into a singularity.. And then as she was in the air being dragged by gravity towards the dark hole that was created, her world went dark only for her to wake up in a strange ship, completely immobile on a bed despite not being chained to anything.. Then too see a familiar blonde individual that she had thought dead, alive and well as well sitting a few feet from her with a tray of food.. Waiting, expectantly...
The whole thing even became somewhat embarrassing when a loud growling sound came from none other than her stomach filled the room as it seemed her body needed a small refill of food.. More like a Large refill considering how much food she consumed once she became mobile..
Someone must be hungry.. Was all he said, amusement clearly palpable as she could hear it in his tone.. Even after hesitantly taking to her surroundings as well as his surprising presence at the time, Faora still couldn't forget that feeling of helplessness she felt when she initially woke up considering her temporary state of complete immobility.. One moment she couldn't feel her body and the next she could, something which she suspected had to do with him considering how her mobility instantly returned the moment he touched her..
In the end, she had a lot of questions that needed answering and with what answers he was giving her, it was far from satisfactory.. She needed, demanded more, but once again as if reading her thoughts and perhaps even feeling her emotions, he spoke up.. His eyes were now closed, but his attention was still very much on her as he regarded her with a side glance..
"I know you have questions.. But you smart enough to know that they can't be all be answered at this time.. You'll get your answers in due to time or maybe you won't, that depends on your actions from now on, but of all the questions you should ask, i suggest you think carefully because there is only so much answers i am willing to humor you with".. He advised..
Thinking carefully on his words with her tactical mind, Faora figured from his tone she wouldn't be getting as much answers from him as she would like and as much as she wanted to contest that, the odds weren't really in her favor to do so.. At least at the moment..
Logically speaking, Naru-Ul in his current state was almost a complete unknown to her despite their past together and while she could argue that she was unknown to him just as well, she knew that wasn't a valid argument as she truly hadn't changed much, something which she suspected he already knew especially if he could somehow read her mind..
Besides, for him to be quite casual around her (something that annoyed her a bit) showed that he was well aware of what she was capable of and was most probably prepared to handle her if she became rather violent.. There was also the fact that if she became aggressive towards him and their battle escalated, Kal-El would most likely become aware which could potentially lead to a 2 against 1 battle scenario.. One that most certainly wouldn't favor her especially with Naru in the mix..
She had no delusions as the male beside her would willingly kill her if he had to, unlike Kal-El.. He was a warrior at heart and she expected nothing less..
So, in short she was fucked, as she really had no tactical advantage in her favor.. With all this mind, Faora decided it was best for her to comply and compromise with the situation.. For now that is..
"So, what happens now?".. She asked, hoping that such an open ended question would perhaps get some more specific answers from.. But unfortunately for her, the blonde wasn't having any of it.. Perhaps in another life, Talk no jutsu would have been a part of him, but in this reality such wasn't the case..
Somewhere in a past timeline and an alternate reality, an older looking and full sighted look alike version sneezed a little before going back to focus on his ongoing, arduous signing of important paperwork for the village he was currently in charge of.
Someone must be talking about me.. The blonde leader briefly thought to himself before shrugging off the feeling..
(Check the A/N at the end of chapter for reference to this)..
Back to the present:
"Now"... He paused a little thinking carefully on his next set of words before continuing.. "You prove to me that you can be trusted, something that are a long way from at the moment.. Besides, you owe me for saving your life and that Faora-Chan is a heavy debt that doesn't come cheap".. It was true, her life was worth a lot considering she might potentially be the last female of her kind and his decision to save her wasn't just from the goodness of his heart..
So not only was he exercising superiority over her, now he also wanted something in return for saving her.. A ballsy move indeed from her former underling.. She thought to herself proudly..
That didn't mean she had to like it though..
"A debt is a debt and with one as heavy as yours, i have every intention of collecting what i am owed when the time comes.. But until then, you do what i say and all should good for you moving forward"... He said just as casually, which in turn further annoyed his fellow Kryptonian..
Not even bothering to respond, Faora just chose to go back to gazing at the icy landscape in silence as she focused on her own thoughts..
He may have had some advantages over her now, but who knows.. The future was quite uncertain and that itself was good enough for her..
Smiling internally to himself at her sense of false hope, Naru decided not to say anything as he too focused on his own thoughts.. The future wasn't set in stone, but with what he had in mind, Faora would either bend to his will, or she would fall by his hand.. It wasn't arrogance, it was just... Confidence..
In the end, his will... Shall prevail..
The years ahead would most certainly be interesting indeed..
A new era, had begun..
A/N: There were a few details i left for y'all to take note of and yes, Naruto is a Kryptonian Hybrid and the origins of such as well as his development will be revealed next few chapters ahead.. As for his abilities, just know he's very powerful, so powerful that certain godly entities will be paying close attention to him with a few of them approaching him at some point.. Like this story's previous version, a certain Greek goddess will be visiting our favorite blonde soon and as for his relations with the league, well let's just say he will be neutral..
As for that scene where another past version of Naruto was mentioned, such will have a major impact on this story as somewhere in an alternate timeline and universe the canon Narutoverse played out, for the most part.. This universe however will be far from canon, but like i said such reference will have a major impact in the background of this story as the origins of Naruto in this universe have been tweaked a bit by someone from that said timeline..
That's all for now and till next time.. Strongest Avenger chapter 2 coming up soon..
