Sonic, Tails and Amy were given a parade for their success of defeating Eggman once again, at least, until a different Eggman appeared out of nowhere and invaded Emerald City.

"Wait, didn't we defeat him," said Tails.

"This one's different, as if he is a emperor," said Amy.

"Now for long, come on," said Sonic.

They chased after Eggman and fought their way through some unfamiliar robots they never encounter before.

They managed to caught up to Eggman and he said, "You, wait a minute, you're not like the one who I have defeated in my time."

"Your time," said Sonic, "What are you saying."

"Come on Eggman, you always lose, you never get what you want," Tails.

"True, if Sonic didn't survive against time itself," said Eggman.

"Wha-what did you mean, didn't," said Amy.

"Enough, this will be the end of you and your friend's legacy, my rule is superior compare to your," said Eggman.

But Eggman was interrupted by his archnemesis, a mysterious 'sonic in reverse' and said, "what."

"Next time we meet, you won't live to tell the tale," said Eggman then warps back to his timeline.

"Hey, we're not finished," said Sonic, "great, what was that about".

"Maybe we should follow him for answers," said Tails.

"Alright, let's go," said Sonic.

They follow the red streaks of electricity trailing towards where the yellow hedgehog was heading.

When they got to him, Tails and Amy tries to apprehend him before Sonic can stop them and he said, "Wait."

"Sonic," said Tails.

Tails and Amy were warped through time as they ended up in the age of Dinosaurs to the rebellion against the Roman Empire to the Japanese civil war to World War II and to the attack on mars. Then they end up in the future where Eggman is the emperor.

"Sonic, we're in trouble," said Tails but notice Sonic is not with them.

"Sonic, where are you," said Amy.

Then suddeny as its speed by, the 'sonic in reverse' notice Tails and Amy in his timeline and he said, "You know him".

"Wait, you're the yellow hedgehog we were chasing, who are you," said Tails.

"Yeah, and what did you do," said Amy.

"I'm Reverze, Reverze the Hedgehog, and I did nothing wrong in such, I only stopped the Eggman of my time, you two seemed to follow and stumbled into my future where Sonic failed to defeat him because of the fact he initiated a time boom."

"Time Boom," said Tails.

"It's like this, when Sonic Boom is applied, he can go faster than the speed of sound," said Reverze, "but with chaos control, he accidently applied it with his speed, created time boom, ripples of distortion caused so much damage, it either altered one's purpose such as Eggman's goal or turned them into ashes and dust as if like Sonic, he never existed which in turn Eggman declared he defeated him by wearing a special ring to prevent his death by the affects of the time boom."

"But that means in this future," said Amy.

"Yes well his death did created a replacement if you can tell who is the replacement," said Reverze.

"Who," said Tails.

"Can't you guess, me," said Reverze.
