Hiiiii! I assume you heard the terrible news about the Queen. Once I heard about it, it got me thinking. How would the sing 2 characters react to this news? As a sing 2 fanfic writer I took it upon myself to answer that question. So….here you guys go! Enjoy and God save the King
September 8th 2022
The Moon troupe gathered around the tv. They had recently heard about the queen and how her condition was. They eagerly watched the tv to see what was next.
"Hey guys…..I know this isn't something I should say but…I think it's her time to go." Meena said
"You may be right, Meena. We'll find out soon though, ok?" Moon asked
"Ok Mr Moon" Meena answered
"Guys! Buckingham Palace is announcing something!" Rosita said
On the tv, a dog reporter broke the bad news
"Buckingham Palace has just announced…..that Queen Elizabeth ll has died peacefully at Balmoral" The news anchor said sadly
The troupe felt all kinds of emotions at that moment. But the most present emotion…..was sadness
"That's it….she's gone Nooshy said, crying on Johnny's shoulder
"She became Queen when I was 7. It's sad to see her go before me….."Clay said
"Guys…..we should sing the UK national anthem…..in respect to her. Johnny….would you start us off?" Buster asked
"Sure thing Mr Moon…." Johnny said
With that, Johnny started to sing the national anthem for the UK. They took it in turns to sing a line:
Johnny and Nooshy
God save our gracious Queen!
Porsha:
Long live our noble Queen!
Clay:
God save the Queen!
Ash:
Send her victorious,
Meena and Alfonso
Happy and glorious,
Rosita and Gunter:
Long to reign over us,
Suki, Porsha and Moon:
God save the Queen.
All:
Thy choicest gifts in store
On she be pleased to pour,
Long may she reign.
May she defend our laws,
And ever give us cause,
To sing with heart and voice,
God save the Queen.
Once the song was finished. Everyone got back to mourning. They knew it would take some time to get over this but they were prepared…when it came to her funeral, they flew to London to pay their respects. Clay brought his dad's medals that the Queen gave his dad. He put them next to her gravestone.
"Rest in Peace, your majesty…" Clay said
That is how I think the troupe would react to Queen Elizabeth ll death. Let me say I'm not using her death for views, I'm doing this out of respect to her.
Rest In Peace Queen Elizabeth ll. You served your country well…
