"Milord, it seems that she's in the Kingdom of Mondstadt." A figure was on its knee bowing down one of his superiors.

"Oh," the figure turned to the figure behind. "She's still alive. I thought she was gone forever. We're getting her back."

"She's under the protection of Prince Albedo. There's no way we will be able to get her back."

"Did the spies find any exits or hidden passages from the castle?"

"No, sir. But I have more information, Prince Aether."

"Speak, soldier."

The soldier told his prince everything that had happened in a few days of the arrival of Lumine in Mondstadt.

"I see. Prince Albedo has given her name, saved her from those bastard slave trader. She was slave from the longest time. She was taken from the Abyssal Kingdom from those greedy humans. I can't believe they used her as a slave." Aether clenched his hands into a fist.

"General Ajax will be happy to hear the news." The soldiers said.

Aether sighed lightly. "It would be best if we don't tell him. He will immediately go to Mondstadt to get Lumine back. He will cost his life. He is destined to be with Lumine, but now she is with the enemy. We have to proceed cautiously. For now, we'll lie low until we can get her back."

"Yes, milord."

Aether turned around, looking up at the stars as it shone. 'Lumine. We will come for you and bring you back home where you belong.'

Lumine was at the garden reading. There was a stack of books she took from the library to read. Reading outside felt nice and peaceful. She finished reading the book she read, placed it on the side, picked up another one and started reading it.

"This one is interesting. A tale of the light prince and nemesis princess. Once upon time, there was a light prince who ruled the rule of peace and life. He saved his people from the archenemy's nemesis. He promised his people that he will bring life to this land. There was a nemesis princess who ruled destruction and despair. She takes the emotions of despair in the land of light. The more despair she gets, the more powerful she becomes. The light prince noticed his people were getting desperate. He needed to stop the nemesis princess from taking emotions from his land. They met face to face. He tells her to stop taking despair of emotions from his people and land. The nemesis princess tells him that she isn't going to stop taking emotions to make her stronger. They took out their weapons and started to fight. The battlefield between the two took 5 months. The light prince won the fight against the nemesis princess. The nemesis princess tells the light prince to end her. She had nowhere to go, no home, no family or siblings, no place to call home, and no one to love. She was alone. The light prince understands what she has been through. He placed his weapon away and bent down to help her. The nemesis princess didn't want help from him, but the light prince gave her a soft smile. He told her that she was lonely and needed someone to love. He will be there for her. The nemesis princess looked at him and took his hand. After the long battle, the light prince and nemesis princess became closer. The nemesis princess didn't know the land of light was beautiful. But tragedy started to happen when they became lovers for 5 months. The nemesisal arrived to destroy the land of light, to bring back their princess. She told them to stop and leave the land. They didn't stop and kept attacking the land. The nemesis princess goes directly to them to talk, but when she got there. She was killed and was called a traitor to her own people. The light prince witnessed everything, and cried out his tears. He lost the woman he loved. He destroyed all of the nemesisal from his land. The nemesis princess asks him for a promise. The light prince promised her that he will bring peace to both nemesisal and lighten. He prays to the archons for the both of them to be reincarnated to let the same mistake happen again. After the wipe of the nemesisal from his land, the light prince banished the reset of the nemsisal into the abyss to bring peace to the land. He hopes the future won't repeat itself. And that he and the nemesis princess will meet again in the future," Lumine closed the book as she was feeling sad inside. She felt something familiar with Albedo when they met. Are they destined to be together? It can't be true. It's just a silly story. She placed her hand on her chest.

"LUMINE!" A familiar shouted across from her.

She turned to the source of the voice. Klee waved her hands at her and ran to her. Lumine waved back to the young princess. Klee ran beside Lumine as she smiled.

"Good Morning, Klee. How are you?" Lumine asked.

"Good! What did you and Albedo Onii-sama do yesterday?" Klee curiously asked.

"Oh. We went to the library after the explosion," Lumine replied. "I hope you didn't get punished by Jean."

Klee keeps her smile. "She just grounded me. That's all. Nothing too bad. I'm back to make more big booms into the river. So, we can caught all of the fish with my bombs."

"Fishing with bombs? Would that kill all of the fish in the lake?" Lumine was afraid Klee would destroy the whole lake.

Klee shook her head. "Of course not. It has a set of ranges where it explodes."

"I didn't know bombs has that." Lumine was surprised.

"If it is water, it won't kill everything in the lake. Just where the bomb was set." Klee explained.

"I see. That is interesting, but throwing bombs in the river isn't something we should do. Jean will scold us again."

"Albedo Onii-chan will save us. He never punished anyone who is precious to him. You didn't get scolded by Jean Onee-chan, but you are important to him."

Lumine tilted her head. "How am I important to him?"

Klee giggled. "He's never like this. He doesn't care about anyone else. Albedo Onii-chan only cares about his work, but when you came, he started to change little by little."

For some reason, Lumine felt happy. She didn't know Albedo was going to be attached to her. She was curious if he did have someone that he is fond of. She was afraid to ask him. Although, he is just a friend to her. Her heart was thumping like a drum beat. She felt jealous if Albedo does have someone he likes.

"Klee," Lumine was shivering nervously. Her lips were quivering to ask her. "Does Albedo have anyone he likes before me?"

Klee tilted her head as she tried to remember. "I don't think so. Albedo never liked the aristocratic women. They were too much trouble for him to take care of. He hates the aristocrat crawling for help. He refused to help them. And deny every single aristocratic woman's proposal. They just want power and land. That's all I remembered." She gives a bit too much detail.

"You didn't need to go that far, but I appreciate it. Albedo has been single for a long time until I was saved. He started to change. I don't know if he likes me. He's just a friend." Lumine still denies that the prince does like her.

Klee gasped. "What do you mean? You're pretty. Any boy would like you, even Albedo Onii-chan! I always wanted a big sister!"

"Do you have Jean?"

Klee pouted sadly. "But Babara is Jean Onee-chan. I want a big sister that Albedo Onii-chan can love and I can play with," the young princess starts to smile again. "You fit that description. I enjoy playing with you. I want to play with you again."

Lumine blinked in surprise. She smiled as pats Klee's head. "Of course. We can play again whenever you want."

Klee laughed. "We can play now."

"Well, I do need to stretch from reading all morning. Shall we get going?

Klee nodded.

Klee and Lumine were in town. The townspeople were setting up for something. Lumine was curious about what they were doing. Everyone in town was helping each other. They went to a stand for food. Lumine never saw food on a stick. The way the

"Oh, Princess Klee, you're here." The woman smiled. She looked at Lumine. "Oh, who is this?"

"Hi, Miss Kate. This is Lumine, my new friend. I'm showing her around town." The princess looked at Lumine. "Are you hungry, Lumine?"

"Yes. I am getting hungry." She replied.

"I want two of the Mondstadt Grilled Fishes." Klee did two fingers to show Kate that she wants only two.

Kate nodded. "Of course," she grabbed the cooked Mondstadt Grilled Fish and handed over the food to them. "There you go!"

Lumine and Klee grabbed the food.

"I'll pay for it." Lumine said as she searched for Mora in her pocket.

Kate shook her head. "Don't worry about it. Today is a special day. Everyone is setting up for the festival tomorrow."

"Festival? What's that?" Lumine asked confusedly.

"It's a traditional celebration in the Kingdom of Mondstadt. It's for the celebration of the Light Prince who saved this land from the Nemesisal. He promised a certain woman he loved to bring both the Lighten and Nemesisal to live together, but instead, he banished them into the abyss. So, they won't bring destruction to this land. He prayed to the archons to reincarnate both him and his lover in the future." Kate explained.

Lumine was shocked. It follows The Tales of the Light Prince and Nemesis Princess. The same one she read. "Is the Light Prince the one who ruled the Kingdom of Mondstadt in the past?"

Kate places her hands on her hips. "Yes. The Light Prince promised his people for peace and life. Until he met the Nemesis Princess. They both fell in love after a long battle against each other. The Nemesis Princess didn't know the land was peaceful and full of life. The Light Prince promised anything to make her wish come true if it was a silly wish."

'Just like Albedo He promised me he would take me anywhere. I wonder if Albedo is the reincarnation of the Light Prince. That means I could be the Nemesis Princess, but does that mean for me?' Lumine remembered what she read from the book. Albedo does sound like the Light Prince. She has no memories of where she was born.

Klee raised her arms with excitement. "It will be fun! I want to bring Albedo Onii-chan, but he will be busy tomorrow." The princess turned to Lumine. "Can you convince him to come to the festival tomorrow?"

Lumine blinked in confusion as she pointed at herself. "Me?"

Klee nodded. "You're the only one he will listen to. He told me that you're special."

Lumine blush lightly. "Special? What makes me special?"

"Who knows, but if Albedo Onii-chan said you're special then you are." Klee smiled.

Lumine felt happy inside. She was never special to anyone. Her body starts to heat up. Does Albedo like her? If he does, what makes her attractive? There was nothing attractive about her. Why would someone like a slave?

Klee grabbed Lumine's hand. "Let's go and have fun."

They arrived at a tent. Klee just walked inside without being suspicious about it. Lumine gasped when Klee walked in. She followed the princess in. As they walked inside the tent, there was a table with a glass ball in the center on a pillow. Lumine glared at the glass ball wondering what it was.

A young girl walked in the tent and asked, "Are you guys here for some fortune?"

Lumine turned to the entrance and saw the owner of the place. She looked like a witch. "Fortune? What's that?"

"To find out your future or fate." The witch explained.

Lumine wondered if she did a fortune about her future. Would it help her to find out her fate? "Who are you?"

"The name is Mona. I'm a fortune-teller. I tell fortune to people who want to know their fate in the future." Mona replied as she explained who she was. "So, are you here to know your fortune or not?"

Klee pointed at Lumine. "She does!"

Lumine widened in surprise. "What?"

Mona turned to Lumine. "Do you want to know your fortune?"

Lumine was thinking about this. It could help her what her fate will be. Will her future come true if she asks for her fortune? She took a deep breath. She gave a determined look. "Yes please."

Mona walked past her. "Alright. Take a seat," Lumine nodded and sat down on the chair. Mona arrives at the chair on the opposite side. "Let's get started."

Mona placed her hand on the glass ball. The ball started to glow. Lumine watches when the crystal ball glows. She waits for Mona to give her fortune. Her heart starts to beat fast.

Mona gasped as what she saw in the vision of the glass ball. Lumine waits for Mona to tell what she saw.

"This fortune is… somewhat real." Mona was shocked.

"Wh-What is going on? What did my future say?" Lumine was panicking a bit from Mona's reaction.

Mona gulped as she was sweating. "Well… your fortune… felt real. You have someone who is attracted to you. You are the darkness who revive the light to someone your bond too. But there was darkness waiting for your return. They miss you dearly. Someone from the darkness awaits you for their love to you. That's all I got." The fortuneteller glances back to Lumine.

'It sounds like the tale of the Light Prince and Nemesis Princess. Someone who is attractive to me. I'm the darkness who came over to the light. Is Albedo the Light Prince? Albedo has been gentle and caring. He is willing to do anything to make her wish come true. But darkness is waiting for my return? What does that mean?' Lumine said to herself as everything was running through her mind. It was too much for her to process.

Klee touched Lumine's hand. She was wondering if Lumine was okay. "Are you okay? You don't look good, Lumine."

Lumine snapped out her thoughts and looked at Klee, giving her a small smile. "I'm okay, Klee," she stood up from the chair. "Thank you for the fortune, Mona."

"Don't worry. I'm glad I have a customer to know their fortune." Mona said.

Klee and Lumine left Mona's tent. Mona watched them as they left the tent.

"I wonder if the tale is coming true. The Tale of the Light Prince and Nemesis Princess. Will she overcome herself of what she really is? Or will the cycle repeat itself? Perhards, time will tell when she discovers the truth. The Abyssal Princess and Shining Prince. When the sun meets the moon, they will bring peace to both light and abyss. The Shining Prince Albedo, a gentle and caring gentleman who will do anything for Lumine and Abyssal Princess Lumine, a lonely slave who has no memories of herself. I hope they will put a stop to the war of the Abyssal Kingdom." Mona glared at her crystal ball. The crystal ball reflected her image as she glared at it.

It was turning dawn from the sky above. Everything was done for the festival tomorrow. Now, the town rests for the next day tomorrow.

Lumine and Klee turned back to the castle. Everyone in the castle was panicking because the princess disappeared. Lumine was wondering what was going on. They see Jean with the soldiers to search for the princess.

"Princess Klee!" The soldier called out.

Jean and the other soldiers turned around and saw Klee with Lumine. They all were relieved.

"Klee," Jean has her hands on her hips. Klee flinched when she heard Jean's voice. She ran behind Lumine. "You know you're not supposed to leave the castle without guards."

"I'm sorry, Jean Onee-chan. I wanted to play with Lumine." Klee confessed.

"That doesn't mean you can take Lumine to town alone without protection. It is dangerous no matter where you are." Jean was worried about Klee safely. "At least, you are safe. I'm sorry for Klee for dragging you."

Lumine shook her head. "No need to blame Klee. You should blame me for not telling the soldiers to come with us. It's my fault."

"Lumine…" Jean looked at her. Lumine doesn't mind taking all of the blame. She is used to taking the blame. "Don't worry. I won't ground her. But next time, take the soldiers with you when you are out."

Lumine nodded. "I will."

"So, Klee isn't getting grounded." Klee said, peeking her head out.

"For now. You should be thanking Lumine." Jean said.

Klee gasped happily as she looked at Lumine. She hugged her legs. "Thank you, Lumine."

Lumine let out a smile. "You're welcome, Klee. Next time, we will bring soldiers to protect us."

Klee nodded. "Okay."

Jean chuckled. "The princess is really attracted to you."

"She wanted someone to play with. I don't mind playing with Klee. She will get bored if she has no one to play with." Lumine was being honest.

"You're too kind, Lumine."

Lumine waved her hands defensively. "Oh no. I was being honest."

"It is true that the princess has no one to play with besides her toys."

Klee tugged Lumine clothing. "Lumine, can you read me a story?"

"Sure." Lumine replied.

They were in Klee's playroom, where all of Klee's toy and making bombs are. The princess was sitting on Lumine's lap. Lumine was reading her a book that she picked out for Klee. Klee was enjoying listening to Lumine's smoothing voice when she was reading. Klee started to giggle. Lumine finished reading the book then closed the book.

"Lumine, can you sing me a lullaby?" Klee asked.

"I can't sing. I don't know what to sing." Lumine replied as she shook her head. She never sang before.

"It won't hurt to try. Don't doubt yourself." Klee gave Lumine a little boost to sing a lullaby.

Lumine doesn't know where to start. She couldn't think of a lullaby from the top of her head. Something clicked from her mind, opened her mouth, and started singing. Klee got off of Lumine's lap, sat beside her and put her head on Lumine's lap. The princess's eyes started to close slowly from Lumine's lullaby. Klee's eyes went to rest. Lumine softly touches Klee's hair.

Albedo just arrived at Klee's playroom as he heard someone singing. He sees Klee sleeping on Lumine's lap as Lumine is humming. He was leaning on the entrance door as he watched them.

Lumine noticed someone at the door. She looked at the ashy brown hair prince at the door. He was smiling. She smiled back with a light blush on her cheeks.

"I didn't know you were here, Albedo. What brings you here?"

Albedo hummed. "I heard singing when I was walking back to my office. To think the singing came from you. It sounds calming and beautiful. You don't mind if I hear this tune next time."

Lumine slightly nods. "I will be glad too."

He walks to Lumine, bends down on his knee, and picks up Klee trying not to wake her up. "I'll take the little princess to her room," the prince gave Lumine a caring smile. "Would you like to accompany me?"

Lumine started to get nervous when he said that out of the blue. She remembered her fortune. She twiddle her fingers. "O-of course." She stood up from the ground and walked beside Albedo.

They arrived a t Klee's room. Albedo puts down Klee on her bed and pulls up the blanket to cover her. They left her room as the prince closed the door quietly. Albedo looked at Lumine.

"What did you and Klee do today?" He asked quietly.

"We went to town. Everyone in town was happy." Lumine responded.

"Glad that you enjoy yourself."

Lumine remembered what Klee said. Albedo rarely comes out of his office. She observes him closely. He doesn't look exhausted or maybe he is hiding it.

Albedo sees Lumine's eye wandering around as if she was looking at him. He is still worried about her left eye. It was still bothering him.

"Umm… Albedo." Lumine called.

The voice of hers caught his attention. She sounds worried. "Is there something wrong? If there is anything, I can help you."

She shook her head. "That's not it. I was wondering if… umm… you want to come to the festival tomorrow with me and Klee." Lumine blushed lightly.

Albedo blinked in surprise. Most people ask him to go out to take breaks. He mostly declines or ignores them. Lumine made it sound like she wants to go out with him.

He chuckled softly. How can he resist her? She was cute when she blushed. "Of course. I can take a break starting tomorrow."

Lumine suddenly grabbed his hands. Albedo didn't flinch, but widened his eyes. Her hands were soft and warm. He didn't pay attention to her touch when he saved her, but now. This feels different. Albedo feels a bit familiar. He can't put what was familiar from her touch.

"I can't wait. We're going to have a fun time together. I'll see you tomorrow, Albedo. Get some rest as well. We can't have a sleepy prince during the festival." She said, hiding a little tease in her voice.

Albedo understood. "I didn't think you were the teasing type. I guess Lisa has affected you." He teased back.

"I don't know if I was or not, but stay healthy as well." Lumine lets go of his hands. "I'll go ahead and sleep. Night Albedo."

The prince nodded. "Night Lumine."

Lumine walked past Albedo. He watched her walk away as she slowly disappeared from his sight. Albedo looked at his hands where she touched. He already missed her touch. He wants to touch her even more, but he doesn't want to hesitate and scare her.

He smiled as he turned around and went to his chambers to rest for tomorrow.
