Chapter 1

Harry Potter watched as Severus Snape walked towards the door through which his friend Hermione had left moments ago. A sincere smile appeared on his face, which caused a stir on the faces of not only Gryffindors but also Slytherins.

He stopped in the doorway. The silence in the classroom was deeper than ever during the class. He leaned his hand on the top of the doorframe. After a moment, a girl appeared out of nowhere and wrapped her arms around their professor's neck. He didn't see who it was exactly, but this woman pulled Severus into a kiss so intense that this kiss would embarrass many more experienced boys.

"Stop. I'm your professor." - the voice of the dungeon bat was quite hoarse.

"For me, you are the boy who left my dorm two hours ago. We celebrated Slytherin's victory against Gryffindor with Lucius."

"Ah, I remember, but we haven't been with Malfoy all night."

The girl's voice was very familiar to him. It was only when their dark professor had moved on that he saw someone he didn't expect to see. Hermione Granger.

Sitting in the back benches, Draco Malfoy has almost perfect view on situation. He was surprised that a girl in a Slytherin uniform, who was still a schoolgirl, dragged his antisocial godfather into her arms. He didn't remember that this ever tense wizard had ever dated anyone.

This girl had amazingly beautiful wavy hair that was halfway down the back. He felt as if he had seen them before. But when?

"Stop." - Severus said in a tone that indicated that he wasn't sure he really wanted to stop. - "I'm your professor." - so he was right. Schoolgirl.

"For me, you are the boy who left my dorm two hours ago. We celebrated Slytherin's victory against Gryffindor with Lucius."

He would recognize that voice anywhere. Granger. His godfather was kissing Granger. But why was Hermione in a slytherin uniform?

"Ah, I remember." - up close, it was clear to hear Snape growling at the memory. - "But we haven't been with Malfoy all night."

"Luckily. Otherwise, I wouldn't know what your long fingers can do with woman."

His uncle then stepped back. The golden girl looked just like in all his fantasies. Really. The cut of her uniform was similar to that worn by his mother. A loosely tied tie, smooth curls, delicate makeup... And that gleam in her eyes.

He missed her. She actually saved him. If she hadn't run into him the day after he had argued with Miss Evans, he would have probably been suffering from the loss of her friendship by now. It was Hermione who showed him what true friendship with a girl means.

"Lucius has a perfectly good… tounge." - she said it so loud that everyone could hear it. He tried to keep his face straight when he noticed that Draco was choking. He guessed WHO was going on, but didn't guess WHAT was going on.

"You can't be so ambiguous." - He smiled which scared his students even more.

"You didn't complain about that yesterday." - She raised an eyebrow in amusement.

Ignoring the surroundings, they walked together towards his desk. Hermione quickly sat on it. - "What are you thinking about?"

"We should report to Minerva that you're back. Maybe in the meantime you would like to go to your room to change into Gryffingor uniform." - Saying this, he pulled her tie - "Wait a minute, this is my tie!"

She smiled and moments later her cheeks flushed. - "Yes of course. My dear brother took mine. As a 'souvenir'. I took his. Then I thought I wanted yours as well."

Hermione was happy because Severus Snape reacted to her as he used to. She was afraid that if she skipped in time his feelings for her would disappear.

"What the hell is going on here?" - Ronald Weasley's voice broke the blissful silence as she might have expected. This boy has always been wonderful despite his impulsiveness. Funny, loyal, intelligent, sometimes lazy. The girl who catches him will be lucky.

"What's what, Ronald?" - She used her condescending tone of voice. It was similar to Molly's voice which was very effective in arguing with her sons. - "I skipped in time once again and what I saw when I returned was my boyfriend's face. Is it any wonder I kissed him?"

"A boyfriend? Did you jump in time? What are you doing in a slytherin uniform?" - all questions fell from the mouth of Harry Potter. He was so physically similar to his father that it hurt her. Fortunately, Harry had a much better character than both of his parents.

"This is what it is like when you fall into the arms of a naked guy who has a body like a Greek god and then you find out that he is extremely intelligent and talented." - She felt Severus' fingers as he began to spin circles on her back with his thumb. - "It should rather be obvious what I do in a slytherin uniform. After all, for the last two years I was a Slytherin. Well, almost two years. As for the last question..." - she turned and smiled at Severus - "...after I escaped from this class, after arguing with Ron anyway... I went to the Come & Go room and asked for friends who would accept all my quirks. And that's what I got. Bundled with time travel."

"You had to say everything right now? Tick off professor McGonagall and then change your clothes." - Severus' voice oscillated between amused and angry. It sounded a bit funny to her ears.

"I don't want go to Gryffindor Tower. I want to go to mine... To our room. But this room is probably already taken." - she pouted like a little child again. She must have taken this manner from Lucius.

"Okay, okay. Go to me and call your brother. He will be happy."

She smiled, put her hand on his neck and pulled him to a kiss. - "It's until later Sev. As if the Gryffindor Caretaker was looking for me, say that I am tired and I sleep in YOUR bed. I don't feel like studying today. Maybe tomorrow."

She turned and went to his chambers. With a light step. Her hair was swinging sideways. When she disappeared outside the door, it got even weirder than ever.

"It's not Hermione Granger." - Neville Longbottom said softly under his breath. However, due to the general silence, his voice was heard in every nook and cranny of the classroom.

"Why do you think so, Mr. Longbottom?"

"Hermione likes to learn. Hermione wouldn't be a Slytherin. Hermione would never…" - He paused.

"Are you saying she would never kiss me?" - He used to think so himself, so he didn't mind.

"Honestly? I'd be surprised if she kissed Ron. At least you don't talk about Quidditch twenty-four hours a day. If you were, she wouldn't be interested in you." - the boy showed a lot of courage. - "I meant that she wouldn't be dry, so dry with her friends."

"Miss Granger has spent the last two years under completely different conditions." - he sighed and turned to all the students. - "Hermione Granger who came back isn't the one who recently left this room. Not even an hour has passed for us. Almost two years have passed for her."

Lucius Malfoy was beginning to think whether he had done the right thing by following his father in the service of the Dark Lord. Perhaps he would have had no doubts if it weren't for the fact that in the last years of his reign Tom Riddle had begun to lose his sanity. Things got worse when he rose from the death last year. Fortunately, contrary to earlier arrangements, Voldemort chose another property for his seat. It was a relief for him, because he had planned to stay at Malfoy Manor earlier.

He was sitting in his office when he heard the rumble downstairs. He immediately went into the living room. As he approached, he could hear the quarrels more and more clearly.

"Bella, if you don't let me pass right now, I'll take those damn curls out of you. Your master will have nothing to grab when he uses you like an inflatable doll."

"Inflatable doll?" - his sister-in-law was furious. Who could also visit them? Most of the witches and wizards he knew were simply afraid of her.

"You know, such a mannequin with a hole for a penis. Used when you don't have a partner and you need to relieve yourself."

As he finally left the corridor and into the living room, he saw something he didn't expect. A brunette with curly hair in a Slytherin uniform. Conceited as much as the day he last saw her. At least for the last time in his senior year at Hogwarts. He was deeply surprised when Draco mentioned the all-knowing Hermione Granger in his first year. He thought he was crazy when he saw her in the bookstore a year later. The girl who so many years ago showed the Slytherins what Muggle pole dance is in their common room.

"What are you looking at Luc?" - Hermione snarled as soon as she saw him. - "Take her from me, because I can't vouch for myself. She is even worse than in youth."

"Don't worry about her." - he said with a smile. - "She's sexually frustrated. The Dark Lord doesn't even pay attention to her. I think he belongs to the LGBT society. He is asexual."

"You remembered." - She smiled and threw herself into his arms, completely ignoring Bellatrix Lestrange. - "Did you miss me?"

"Will you tell me where you are supposed to be now?" - He asked as soon as he saw the playful gleam in her eye.

"In Sev's chambers. He let me talk to you."

"Merlin you sulk sometimes worse than my son. We go to Severus, because he will tear our heads off both of us. He got you back, so he won't let you go again."

Severus Snape was surprised to see how calmly the rest of the class was. He thought there would be more questions. Apparently, today's situation is quite bewildering.

Suddenly he was disturbed by a crack that came from his chambers.

Before anyone could react, Lord Lucius Malfoy himself emerged from the door. - "Sev, you must learn to leash your lioness. She came home and you know what she did first? She started a row."

After a moment, Hermione Granger appeared at his side. She wrapped Lucius around his waist and smiled. - "Baby, don't hug me like that, because you will cause a heart attack not only of Potter, Weasley but also my son. Draco is already redder than Arthur's son."

"Lucius, don't disturb me. It's probably normal for friends to be kind to each other. Cissa always understood that."

Severus growled at the class. - "End of class! In such conditions, we will not do anything anyway. Draco, Potter, Weasley! You don't go, you stay here."

Harry Potter was watching his friend. He trusted her, but it was strange to see Hermione hugging Lucius Malfoy so tightly. Suddenly he remembered something.

"Hermione, you were petrified by Tom Riddle's diary!" - he shouted louder than he intended.

Ron wiped the tears from his eyes after a moment. He felt the situation from their second year very strongly. There was only a year between him and Ginny. They were close to each other. So she wasn't surprised he didn't say anything.

"It was probably my fault..."

"How's your fault, Miona?" - Ron finally spoke. To Harry's surprise, Draco Malfoy has said nothing malicious yet.

"How would you feel if you first met me as a sixteen-year-old, befriended me for two years, saw a striptease in my performance, only to later see me as a thirteen-year-old girl who doesn't remember what I did with you? Then you had an argument with your enemy. As I know this cocky blonde, he realized that he was missing that diary only when he got home."

"Why do you believe in him so much?" - Draco Malfoy growled to everyone's surprise.

Hermione sighed. Harry could see that she was trying to put together what she wanted to say. It must have been difficult for her.

"You know why?" - She looked at him and Ron and not at Draco whose question she was answering. - "Both Lucius and Severus stood behind me the whole time in every situation. They weren't friends who would turn their backs on me over a broom and a cat. I love them like family. They defended me from Harry's father and the little wits he called friends."

Harry watched Professor Snape run his fingers over her curls. She turned around. She gave him a sad smile. - "I'll go to Minerva. Maybe I will be able to live in my old dormitory for some time."

The boy who lived watched as his friend left his eyes again.

"Draco, follow her." - after a while Lucius added - "if you say that I sent you, she will not refuse your company. She need that."

Ronald Weasley completely didn't understand what was happening. But he did realize something. The scraps of conversation heard while cleaning Grimuald Place 13 made sense. Remus and Sirius were very nervous after talking to Hermione.

"Professor Snape..." - he tried to show respect to someone who was so close to the girl he had been in love with until recently. - "Mr. Malfoy..."

"Yes, Mr. Weasley?" - the Potions Master was drilling his piercing eyes at him.

"They did something to her. Or at least they were trying to do something. Sirius and Remus get very nervous as soon as Hermione comes out of their sight. Once I heard that if they met her as a young griffon, as a friend of Harry, they wouldn't do it..." - Ron's voice trembled as he realized what it could mean. He hadn't thought about it before. He didn't know that their golden girl traveled through time. Therefore, he considered this conversation to be meaningless gibberish.

"Just like James Potter didn't take Lily Evans 'no', Sirius Black didn't take Hermione Granger's 'no' seriously. Except just as James finally managed to get your mother with Sirius help, Mr. Potter, Sirius didn't. James Potter redoubled his efforts after learning that Miss Granger had chosen me. He couldn't believe it. That a such a girl, even if she was a Slytherin, could choose someone they had been chasing from their first day of school. Lily also tried to convince Hermione... I don't know what exactly happened but one day she came back in tears to the dormitory and didn't walk away from any Slytherin after that."

"Severus... is her room free?" - Lord Malfoy asked with a clear excitement in his voice. Ron saw this man for the first time without the usual mask of indifference or anger.

The Potions professor sighed and looked at his hands. After a moment he reached into his pocket and pulled out a key on a chain. - "Yes, her room has been sealed since she left. Are you sure your son will communicate with her?"

xxx

Draco didn't know what was going on, but he was convinced that Hermione Granger needed someone by her side now. Alone, without his father, he wouldn't have thought of following her. But now, as he was walking down the corridor from a distance, he saw this witch sobbing and sliding along the wall to the floor, he knew that she might not be able to handle herself.

Slowly, not to scare her, he walked over to her. She was so distracted that she didn't even notice him. He sat down on the floor next to her. Surprised, he felt her head drop on his shoulder. After a while, he felt her breathing begin to calm down.

"It's better now. Lucius told you to follow me? He's really caring." - she sighed.

Electricity ran through his body. He hasn't been this close to her since she hit him in their third year. He took the opportunity to sniff the scent of her shampoo up his nose.

"What are you doing?" - she surprised him with the question.

He decided not to lie. Such an opportunity might never come again to him. - "I am checking the smell of your shampoo. I like you and that's the only thing I can keep in my memories." - he finally said it.

She kissed his cheek. And then on the mouth. Before he could react, she stood up and said - "Not all is lost yet. Severus always knew there could be a day when he would have to share me with someone. Tell Severus I'm going to see Professor McGonagall."

xxx

Draco was stunned as he made his way back to the potions room. He now felt as if he had fallen into an alternate reality. What was happening just wasn't possible.

Taking long steps, he reached the destination very quickly. Along the way, he heard whispers and scraps of conversation between students. Apparently the news had spread throughout the school.

He stopped in front of the door. He hesitated to enter. Through the door he heard - "Just as James Potter didn't take the 'no' from Lily Evans, just as Sirius Black didn't take the 'no' from Hermione Granger..."

It took a moment for his daze to fade away. He grabbed the door handle and walked in when his godfather asked, - "Are you sure your son will communicate with her?"

"Maybe I would have communicated with her if she hadn't dismissed me. She cried on my shoulder and went to Professor McGonagall. Can someone tell me why she reacted like that?"

xxx

Minerva McGonagall wasn't expecting her favorite student in her office. Not at this time of day, and not in a uniform clearly Slytherin. It wasn't that she wasn't expecting this day. She just didn't believe Severus when he announced the date of her return.

"I guess the professor know what I came for?" - The girl's voice was so different from what she was used to.

"I have absolutely no idea." - Minerva honestly didn't know it, she was surprised by the fury in the young witch's eyes.

"So you don't remember what James Potter did with Sirius Black? Don't you remember the case that was swept under the rug just because the victim wasn't actually born yet?"

How could she forget? Attempted intoxication with amortentia. Only thanks to the skill of this girl, nothing happened. That day, she found out that this wasn't the first attempt to get ANOTHER girl from the hands of Severus Snape.

"I don't want to live in the Gryffindor Tower. I don't want to live where I was attacked. I really cannot understand how you could have allowed me to live there for the first four years of my studies. You don't really care about the students. Just about your favorites."

"But Harry… I care about Mr. Potter, for example." - Minerva's voice began to wheeze. She felt it.

The young witch leaned against her desk, then tilted it and, speaking directly into her ear, whispered. - "Potter. All you care about is Potter. It is so now and it was like that when his father attended this school. What kind of disappointment... Someone like that is the professor of the next generation of wizards."

"But Harry is the chosen one. The prophecy..." - She didn't expect it, but she really got scared of the witch standing in front of her.

Hermione sat down. Her fingers ran smoothly over the embroidered snake. She waited to say something. Minerva felt her body tense.

"Harry Potter had already fulfilled the words of the prophecy. He defeated the Dark Lord on the night his parents died. He doesn't have to bear all the weight on his shoulders. Albus Dumbledore uses him for his own purposes, and you willingly help him with that, just as you assisted in the maltreatment of Severus Snape."

"What are you kid talking about?" - The Transfiguration professor was indignant.

"You forget that for almost TWO YEARS I watched you punish Sev for self-defense. I watched how you didn't take any consequences for James, Sirius, Remus and Peter. How you let Lily and Remus be prefects who wouldn't intervene when their friends should to be punished. How you let people like ... Like Lily and James become prefects. ILLEGAL."

She watched her. She didn't know if the girl had finished speaking but she knew she was right.

"You know why illegally? Apart from their scandalous behavior... They were both Gryffindors and since 1837 it is clearly stated in the school regulations that under no circumstances can the heads prefects be from the same house. Surprised? Maybe not? Maybe it was a special procedure to help Potter win his beloved? So... Can I live wherever I want? I need your written consent."

There was nothing for her to do but nod and sign the necessary documents. She could also watch Hermione Granger leave her office.

xxx

Severus Snape had seen the disgruntled Draco Malfoy many times. But he hadn't seen him with such pain in his eyes yet. He liked her. He knew the feeling was mutual. A triangle with Lucius would be easier for him.

"One day she will tell you about it."

xxx

Bella was nervous. He could see it in her every move and gesture. - "What's with you?" - The Dark Lord finally growled. - "I can't concentrate as you walk around my office aimlessly."

"She's back. That fucking mudblood friend of Snape is back!"

"Lily Evans? She's dead."

"Not her! The little one, very similar to Potter's friend."

Tom Riddle grabbed his head. He was beginning to think that the years in Azbakan had turned out to be less kind to Bella than he had first thought.

"You really didn't notice it's the same girl? Miss Granger, my affliction of years ago is back. I wonder how it will all play out now..."

A story written during my son's hospital stay. This is my first attempt at a love triangle story. Not one in which a girl has to choose which man she wants to be with, but one in which she will establish an honest relationship with both of them. . Regards, katie-krum
