Meanwhile, on Cal's stage...
The Negabosses of Cal's heart, Fortsepher and Fortie IV Were currently running for their lives from giant mosquitoes. Why giant mosquitoes you may ask? It's because if the side effect that occurred when Balan hiccuped near Cal's stage. It had caused the Chess Kingdom to transform into a large jungle, with lots of flora and fauna...including oversized bugs.
"FASTER BROTHER!! FASTER!!" Fortie cried as he hid inside of Fortsepher "I'M GOING AS FAST AS I CAN!!" He yelled back. The Chess Negaboss found a waterfall and quickly dove behind it. The water seemed to be uninteresting to the large bugs as they flew away. Fortie popped out of Fortsepher's chest. "Phew...That was close..." He said as he jumped out his brother's body. Fortsepher glared at his smaller half "Yeah, for ME. You could have just hidden inside of me and you still would have been fine." He said. Fortie frowned at the larger boss "I'm covered in bug bites! I kept saying "don't bother the bugs, The environment might he hostile." And yet, you think just because you're bigger than me that everything is gonna bow to your will." He complained.
Suddenly, something glimmered behind Fortsepher's back. The smaller Negati walked towards the source, until he spotted a large tree with golden peaches hanging from them. Fortie's eyes grew large. "GOLDEN FRUIT!!" He cheered, quickly scaling the tree. However, what Fortie didn't see was the trunk of the tree Starting to dissappear. Fortsepher followed his brother's yell and was greeted with the sight of Fortie plucking the fruit off of the tree at breakneck speed "Open your chest brother! We're having peaches tonight!" He yelled. Fortsepher was suspicious until he saw that the fruit on the tree began to vanish "Um...Fortie, you better get off of that tree." He said, only for Fortie to yell "OPEN YOUR CHEST!!!" Fortsepher rolled his eyes, but before Fortie could throw the fruit into his chest, The Tree vanished! And With Fortie on it!
"Fortie? Brother? Where are you?" Fortsepher yelled, getting worried that his brother had vanished...until a bunch of bat chitters caught his attention...
"Oh you have got to be kidding me."
Meanwhile, Back with Balan and the Humans
"How do you cure magical, reality bending hiccups?" Attilio asks himself as the inhabitants looked through the Wonderworld library. After a few more disastrous cures, Trisha Jane suggested looking through the library to find some clue, some advice, ANYTHING that could tell them how to cure Balan's hiccups. "Hey! How about this book?" Haoyu yelled. In his hand was a book with the words "Maestro's Anatomy" "Well, It might give us something..." Eis said. Opening the book, they saw many things relating to the various things that explained Balan's perma-smile to Lance's tentacles. After leafing through the pages, the words "Maestro Hiccups" caught Iben's eye "Finally! Some information on the hiccups!" She cheered. Lucy read the passage in the book
"Maestro Hiccups: Take much caution when either Maestro gets the hiccups. Should one of the Maestro get the hiccups, the magic of Wonderworld begins to lose control, each hiccups will cause the fabric of Wonderworld to become warped, causing strange occurrences to happen. Unfortunately, normal cures for the hiccups will not work for the maestros, to cure the hiccups, you will need to brew tea made out of the elusive Wonder Fruit."
Lucy took a double take at the passage "Wonder Fruit?" She asked as the other inhabitants started to look for any information on this 'Wonder Fruit' Emma then walked in with Rebecca. "Find anything?" She asked. "Uh...sorta, We found out that there is a cure for Balan's hiccups, some tea made out of something called "Wonder Fruit." He explained. "And...what exactly is that?" Emma asked. Haoyu shrugged his shoulder as Balan walks in the library. "Forgive me for sounding like a pirate hunting for loot, but were you talking about the Wonder Fruit?" He asks "Uh...yes. Do you know what that is?" Rebecca asks. Balan nods. "Yes, I know about the Wonder Fruit Tea, it's the only cure for the hiccups in me. But getting the fruit is a problem beyond compare, as the Tree the fruit grows on, dissappears and reappears everywhere." Balan said.
"What do you mean the tree dissappears?" Haoyu asks "The Tree, dear Haoyu, is a Rarity. It appears in world, for a second or two, then it vanishes out of the blue." Balan explains. "Can't you track down the tree?" Rebecca asks. "I would try, Rebecca my dear, but the hiccups hinder my power useless I fear..." Balan said, releasing another hiccup that made everyone's hair float upwards. "He's got a point, Balan's hiccups might prevent us from finding the fruit-" Emma was cut off by the sound of Fortsepher yelling at Lance
"C'mon Lance! You have to do something! YOU'RE a maestro too!" He shouted "Fortsepher, I don't know where he can be, and besides, Balan needs me" Lance calmly explained. "BUT TREES DON'T JUST DISAPPEAR!!" That was the sentence that made the group stop. "Fortsepher...did you just Say that the tree dissappeared?" Cal asks. Fortsepher turns to his host...and snickers at his ridiculous get up. "Yes, I know, I look silly, but you need to answer the question. Did the tree disappear?" He asked again. The Chess Negaboss nods...and begins to break down into laughter.
"Well, this is good!" Emma chirped. Everyone looked at her "Um...how exactly is this good?" Iben asked "If Fortie is on the tree, then we can track him! And if we find him, we find the Wonder Fruit!" She explained. Balan's smile got bigger "Emma! What a wonderful plan! That's catching two Tims with one drop if you can!" He cheered. "We'll split up into each of our worlds, and if we find Fortie, we'll find the tree." Mei said. "RIGHT!" the inhabitants shouted. They all ran back to the Isle of Tims to get back to their worlds. But in Sana's haste (and her tripping in the stilettos again) she had bumped into the Maestro Anatomy book, and a small footnote fell out...
"WARNING!! The longer that a Maestro has their hiccups, the stronger they become, and the more that reality, whether inside of Wonderworld or not, becomes warped. Anyone that was affected by the hiccups will experience significant personality changes as well. In short: CURE THE MAESTRO ASAP. OR ELSE."
